"Temple University’s campus is known for its large selection of food trucks, and Honey Truck is one that consistently garners rave reviews. I've been hearing about the Honey Truck avocado crispy chicken wrap for a long time. Finally decided to try it. The flavor profile is really good, an impressive balance of savory, sweet, and tangy. Texture is where I have some thoughts. The rich, fresh avocado is great. It's really the best thing about the sandwich. But the chicken was a little overcooked and not at all juicy--also, the chicken's breading is too thick and gets soggy because there's steam trapped inside the wrap. Bad choice to use baby greens on this, it wilts against the chicken and then it just tastes like paper; they should've used romaine or iceberg, so it would be crisp and refreshing. I'm not saying it's a bad sandwich. But it doesn't live up to the hype. Still, Honey is a great addition to the incredible selection of food trucks on Temple main campus. Better than any fast food restaurant or sandwich chain. Next time I'll try the shrimp burger. The fries were great, perfectly crispy and well seasoned. Update: I tried the shrimp burger and it was very good. It has big fried shrimp flavor that's well matched with the tartar sauce. It's like eating a seashore fried seafood platter on a bun. Update: I went back another time. Tried the crab burger. So much better than I was expecting. It's a real crab cake on a bun, slathered in Mayo-based condiments (something spicy and something sweet like tartar). It was a delicious sandwich. The crab cake seemed to have a blend of crab types, some backfin and something chunkier that may have been lump or claw. It's most likely made from canned/pasteurized crabmeat, but that's okay, it's still good--not loaded with breadcrumbs as filler. The outside is crisp and the inside was soft and creamy crab flesh. Yum. I'll order this again. I'm adding more stars to the overall review. The chicken wrap was disappointing, but everything else I've eaten here has been fantastic.

This food truck is run by a super sweet and friendly family. I was visiting Temple University on this particular day, and I wanted to try multiple food trucks, but Honey Truck was hands down the best! Easily blew everyone else away! The food was AMAZING. I got the Chicken and Waffles and the Rock Shrimp Burger and fries. OMG. Sooooo delicious! I wish this was an actual restaurant so I could come in and dine in. This is THE spot for food trucks. I can't wait until my next TU visit.

Their food always cheer me up!! And it always come out hot and delicious. I highly recommend them to everyone. The staff is also friendly, and they accept apple pay. I’ve tried almost everything, and all tastes scrumptious. If you like seafood, my favorite one is the Crab Burger. The portion they give is miraculous! They are very consistent and generous. The sandwiches range from $9-11. Honestly it is just the best food truck on campus.

Most of my friends recommended shrimp burger for me. I think the best menu is shrimp buger. But I’m vegetarian so I ordered a veggie burger. It was amazing veggie burger! Half of avocado was in there. It was a bit hard to eat, but so fresh and yummy. The harmony of the veggie patty and the sauce was also perfect! Staff was so friendly and sweet. If you are not a vegetarian, you could try shrimp burger and waffle with chicken.

In my opinion, the best food on campus is the Honey Truck on 12th and Norris—and not just because it's close to the Tyler Building! No matter my mood, it's my go-to when I can't decide. Whether I need a quick latte to energize me, a boba pick-me-up to treat myself, or a shrimp burger to satisfy my hunger, the Honey Truck always delivers with something delicious! My only wish is that they wouldn't sell out so fast, haha!

The food is consistently great! This might be my favorite spot for lunch on Temples campus. Everything tastes so fresh, and they use high quality ingredients. I think they changed their fries, which are even better now!
