"It’s easy to find a vegan burger in LA, but few of them measure up to what you’ll find at Honeybee. The burgers here are pretty close to the classic ones at In-N-Out, which is seriously high praise, and can be made with either Impossible or Beyond patties (although we like the Impossible best). The meat is crispy along the edges and the vegan cheese melts down the sides. With a dairy-free chocolate milkshake and some sweet potato fries and tots (aka “Frots”) on the side, you’ll feel like non-vegans are the ones missing out on the good life." - Nikko Duren

"Now that everyone from Del Taco to Burger King to White Castle to Cafe Gratitude have jumped into the faux-meat game, holding the title of “best plant-based burger” isn’t as easy as it was in, say, 2012. And although the playing field is more stacked than the cast of the Dune reboot, with their perfectly crispy Impossible-patties and excellent dairy-free chocolate milkshakes, Honeybee can sleep soundly at night, knowing they’re still the best of them all. Available for pick-up or delivery." - Kat Hong

"Movie Pairing:Mother! (Prime Video) “My Mother! recommendation comes with a couple caveats. The first is that this Darren Aronofsky movie contains one of the most genuinely horrific scenes I’ve ever witnessed, and the second is that a lot of people straight-up think the movie sucks. However - I love it, and depending on how well its central metaphor works for you, you might, too. Regardless, you’re definitely not going to be able to eat meat for days after watching it, so some comforting vegan fast food from Honeybee Burger will serve you well. Order the Queen Bee (a vegan Double-Double), an Oreo shake, and some sweet potato Frots (a French fry/tater tot combo).” - BK Watch the trailer." - Brant Cox, Kat Hong, Brett Keating, James Montgomery

Had the original honeybee burger and added avocado. One of the better vegan burgers I’ve had. LOVED the sweet potato fries and tots. The Oreo milkshake was out of this world- honestly would come back just for that. We also tried the Nashville burger which had a great spicy flavor. Service was very efficient and not too busy at lunch time.

The fish sandwich combo was delicious, people were nice and I loved the reggae tunes. PERFECT milkshake!! The taste and consistency were spot on. There is plenty of parking in back of the restaurant.

This is my favorite spot in LA! I could live off of their Nowadays Nuggets which are even gluten free - almost impossible to find vegan gf chickn. The blossom shake is a delicious orange creamcicle in a cup. But all the amazing food aside, the staff and location tops it all off. The dining area is spacious and clean, the outdoor seating is cute and vibey and everyone is always so friendly, especially Angel and Shelia! Good spot for a date or to just swing thru for a bite with the kids. Definitely go to Honeybee, it'll be your new favorite too :)

I reeeaaallly wanted to give this place 5 stars because the photos looked incredible. However, the Honeybee Burger was just alright. I ordered two honeybee burgers, one with beyond meat and another with impossible meat. Beyond was a bit tastier, as all beyond meat is, but both lacked anything special. I hoped the onion sauce would be at least a stand out but nothing... I wish it were spicy. Frots are a clever idea. They were crispy so 5/5 for those. Mac and cheese was pretty good. Lots of black pepper flavor. But again, nothing too memorable. Ambiance was great but service was incredibly slow. I read that the burritos were solid but I came for what was in the name. Tragically disappointed and I won't be coming back.

Google
tasty vegan food. I was missing a bit of „crunch“ in the Bee-Rito. Everything is very soft and I thought the vegan bacon was a little crunchier. But the taste was very good. We had the, - The Bee-Rito - Side of Mac & Cheese - grilled cheese I can recommend it.

Great food and great customer service! Thank you Adam for your conversation! We found this place on Google searching for the best Hamburgers in the area. Definitely not disappointed! We are not vegans or vegetarians, just looking to try something different. The burger was full of flavor and between that and the shake and sweet frots, the combo was super filling. I tried the Queen Bee which was really quite large . I appreciate their environmentally friendly packaging and their creativity! If you are meat eaters looking for an adventure in flavor, try it!

Had the Sea Bee and it was delicious. I didn't miss the meat or the heaviness normally associated with a burger. Lettuce was fresh, pickles were perfectly crisp and "pickly." Cashier was thorough in explaining the toppings and options for other sandwiches.

Google
Pros: The burger with the impossible patty tastes great. Not life changing but would definitely be happy to eat this any time. They use violife cheese which is impressive. The beyond burger version is kind of bland and mushy by comparison. The tots are a treat, fries are par or just below. They could use more exciting seasoning. **This is a 100% plant based vegan restaurant and we need more of these!!** Cons: (take in mind I was there opening week) they were too slow for a counter service burger. Prices are competitive but still a bit high for the experience. Restaurant is tight and gets congested at the door where they take orders. Ice cream has a bit of tumeric and I find the color off-putting. Taste was unremarkable.
