Where to Order Takeout for Super Bowl Sunday in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"The pop-up from Ethan Stowell Restaurants offers a takeout feast for four, which includes a 9-piece bucket of buttermilk brined and fried chicken, honey butter biscuits, hot wings, pulled pork sliders, Dungeness crab dip, and smoked salmon deviled eggs. On the drinks side are to-go Manhattans, beer and wine." - Gabe Guarente

Google
I had the absolute worst experience here. The chicken tenders were ridiculously small—each piece was barely 2 inches long. The fries? Completely inedible. They were soggy, limp, and tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed in weeks. The wings were an even bigger disaster—blackened and overcooked, while the chicken sandwich was a total letdown. The meat inside was brown, had an off-putting texture, and smelled absolutely rancid. Seriously, since when does chicken smell that bad? To top it all off, the service was painfully slow. I waited 25 minutes for what was supposed to be a medium-sized order. I walked in hungry and excited, but left disappointed, disgusted, and vowing never to return. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

It was kinda dumpy inside? But tbf it is the U-district which kinda rolls with the cheap grunge university student type places which I like. But vibes were missing a bit. Like empty and the employees were bored and not that friendly, then as most Seattle places nowadays it was order by screen, so I saw the one worker take over 5 mins between the time I put my order in and when I got it to simply bag 2 pieces if chicken? Like what? I was the only customer??? He sat on his phone for a while after I placed it? This is why I like ordering in person, oh well. The food was fine, chicken was not fresh though, had probably been sitting in the warmer for the morning… mehh

Google
Best fried chicken in Seattle area. The chicken is very juicy and flavorful. Also, I am very impressed with fried chicken croissant sandwich. the juicy chicken, white cheddar, on a croissant bun makes a perfect combination. It’s a must try when you visit the University District area.

Google
I love how they have many varieties, good for parties! Tried their fried chicken pieces before, juice and tasty. Tried popcorn chicken and spicy burger today, loved it! Also noticed they have upgraded the seats with lower and larger tables for better dine in experience, I just appreciate business owners who take customer experience into consideration and always improve their offerings.

First time eating the honeybee fried chicken! Loved so much! I ordered spicy chicken sandwich and mixed wings. It’s so tasty my tongue is tingling with the spices and keep wanting more of the chicken!

Google
Bomb chickens. Very crispy and juicy, it’s well seasoned and fast services. Friendly staff and place is very clean. Affordable

Google
Three stars because the chicken wings are good. I would say one of the best in the ave area. Just a heads up, if you order the six piece buy one get one free wings, they actually just give you five pieces. The place has been open for like a month. It’s crazy they’re already cutting corners. That’s not how you run a successful food chain, not by ripping off your customers.

Google
I tried the original Fried Chicken, was extremely tasty, better than expected! Flavorful but not too salty, the chicken was fried to perfection, with the outsides crispy and the inner meat tender. Would recommend!

Yelp
Everything tasted very fresh - chicken burger was juicy and wings were crispy. Popcorn chicken was also crispy on the outside and tender on the inside!

Yelp
Very good fried chicken restaurant! I had their chicken sandwich and their tenders and they were both pretty good. My favorite was their chicken sandwich, as the portioning was decent sizing. Chicken was crispy and tender. The bad part about the tenders were the portion. They didn't have that much and it was decently pricey. The service was moderately slow. There was only one worker doing the service and the other worker was on his computer the whole time and not helping the other individual. The ambiance was chill. Nothing special about it. Just a place to enjoy from fried chicken. Inside the restaurant, there's also a boba place so that's cool.

Yelp
I often get the combo to-go here when I'm looking for a guilty pleasure meal The portions are really big and the chicken is super crispy! The buns are very fluffy as well and the mayo and toppings help cut the fattiness of the fried chicken. They cooked the chicken after I ordered so the wait time is pretty long and the french fries are a little bit soggy but I definitely would go back for the chicken! There's a milk tea shop inside the same store so you can grab a drink to pair with the fried chicken!

Yelp
I have been there a few times and always enjoy the food. The fried chicken is always very flavorful, crispy on the outside, and very juicy on the inside. It's just chicken meat with crispy skin. No fat in between. Also, fried chicken croissant sandwich is the BEST in Seattle area. It's a must try!

Yelp
The muffin is really tasty and the five dollar meal is a steal. Everything seems to be made fresh

Yelp
Okay, well I guess I'm the first...which isn't surprising as they seem to have started their Soft Open a week ago. I kept it simple ordering a 2 piece fried chicken order. It comes with a Cornbread. The combo is about $5 more but depending on what you select for sides and drinks it might not be a good deal. A lot of dishes also are Coming Soon. So bear all that in mind. The chicken has a bit of spiciness to it, which I think is unique when it comes to Fried Chicken. Unfortunately my order was not quite warm enough. So they have to figure out the sweet spot with their warmer to keep the chicken hot enough for enjoyment but not to overcook the chicken. Just as another indicator of how fresh the staff are to everything, I asked for a Cup of Water and they didn't even know that their soda dispenser could just give out water. The placement of said soda dispenser is odd too as it's right by the cash register. Is it self-serve or staff-serve? Hard to know right now. If you're on the same street as Chimac and CAC, there's no option but to improve. So I'll be back in the coming months to look for that progress.

Yelp
Really great prices for quality fresh fried chicken with a boba place inside as well. The staff was so kind when accidentally giving us spicy instead of non spicy wings and the cornbread was moist and sweet.

Yelp
This chicken place is mid. I didn't find anything special about it. Wouldn't go back, but it's not bad it's just fine. There are many other places that are better to go. You order through a kiosk, however we wanted extra sauce and he just gave it to us on the house. So great service, thank you dude. You pushed this from a 2.5 to a solid 3, thank you.

Yelp
Amazing chicken that perfectly fried. Had the chicken wrap and tried the chicken drumsticks. service was done directly by the owner Ginny she opened this location about four months ago. Perfect for students attending the University of Washington.

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing and the restaurant had spectacular service. The chicken tasted pretty good and had a nice crisp to it. Would definitely come again with my family!

Yelp
Okay fried chicken. It wasn't bad but it wasn't anything to write home about. Sweet chili wings were nice. No spice just sweet. Fried chicken didn't have any flavor. The corn bread was pretty good. Fries were soggy and bland. Simple but what you want with fast food. The branding for this restaurant is on point. If only their food compared as well. Just kick it up a notch.

Yelp
Excellent customer service, best fried chicken ever have, crispy , fresh and juicy, even overnight the chicken stay crispy. Corn bread very moist and tasty . Just love their chicken, definitely will go back again

Yelp
6 tiny wings for $10, plus a cornbread cupcake that tasted more like chiffon cake than cornbread. Wings were seasoned and fried nicely, but not really worth for the price. They forgot my $.50 garlic parmesan sauce, but honestly I did not want to taste it.

Yelp
Good chicken. Friendly staff, the manager Adam had exceptional service. I didn't have to wait long and the place was exceptionally clean. I definitely recommend you try it out.
