Honeybird Coffee

Not bad, but not my top favorite. The atmosphere is nice, coffee and pastries are alright, and it's served super quickly. They have very limited pasties options. It would be great if they have more savory options 🙃 Also the fridge is loud so I felt as if I'm in the backyard of a supermarket. The barista was organizing inventories, putting trashes together, cleaning something in the sink with loud noise at 1:30pm, so it wasn't relaxing at all. The interior is cute.

Location, location, location! This is the absolute perfect spot to grab an iced latte on your way to the ferry or just to sit at the park. Exceptionally friendly staff with tasty drinks and snacks. Definitely check them out on your next Williamsburg walk, you won’t be disappointed.

Could not possibly love this place more. All of the mandatory boxes are checked: great location, strong coffee, fast wifi, and a sexy fireman calendar. But, what keeps me coming back day after day, week after week, and year after year are the people who work here. They are kind, warm, and caring every single day, no matter what’s going on in the world. Honeybird is a place where you can put your head down and work for a few hours if you need, but you’d be depriving yourself of the rich home that Alice and her team have created here. Can’t imagine the neighborhood without them. If you haven’t been yet, why?

A lot of people don't know this because it did not receive a lot of press coverage but this place was voted best coffee shop and friendliest staff by me in 2025.

What a find! I don't live in NY, so I didn't have my trusty Keurig available to me. My daughter, who lives just around the corner from Honeybird, told me to try them out. Oh my!! Not only was it convenient for me to go to every morning, but I was introduced to monk fruit flavored coffee!! I only like flavored coffee, so this was a whole new experience for me! And now, that's all that I want from now on! Even better than the coffee is the staff! Alice is wonderful- so friendly- and I'm sorry, but I didn't catch the name of the woman who made my coffee everyday, but she, too, is awesome! I'll be back, Honeybird, as soon as I can!

I've been to thousands of coffee shops throughout my life...some good, some bad, but none of them come even remotely close to Honeybird. The coffee is great, but more importantly the staff makes you feel like family. It's easy to forget what something tastes like, but we rarely forget the way someone makes you feel and Honeybird gets 1,000 stars in the feeling department. Also, the tacos are to die for : )

Cute place. Glad I popped in. Grateful to see a few coffee alternatives on the menu. Matcha latte was solid, service was very friendly, helpful in answering my questions and quick.

Came to NYC with family and we were all craving some good coffee. From the moment you walk in the door, you are caught up with the latest happenings in the neighborhood with their street chalk board, then you are greeted with smiles and kindness from the baristas. Tara was very knowledgeable on the options and recommended me an Iced Lavender Latter with Oatmilk. It was amazing! Highly recommend!!

Great service and the vibe in the cafe is cute. I thought the prices were reasonable (most things were ~$5-$6 which is pretty standard in NYC). There is also a bathroom here.

The food and drinks are not bad here. One of the pros is that it's pet friendly, one of the cons is that it's pet friendly-the business has a violation for having animals in the food cooking area and got vibes that it's a little gross

I think the decor is lovingly designed, attracts mainly the wives of finance bros living in the edge complex, some of whom have lots of milk needs. I find the overall tone icy, lackadaisical. Sometimes it's hard to pinpoint why, but after numerous visits, I never want to linger long, it's just not...the warmest vibe. Hours tend to feel mysterious and be inconvenient. When they are closing, which is like...noon?...the attitude of staff members (who always prefer texting to making coffee) can feel passive aggressive. There are so many coffee shops nearby with similar (or better) coffeee, pastries, so it's mainly that this is the only cafe in that weird circle near the water. Music doesn't cohere into any kind of notable atmosphere either. If you find yourself right outside, sure, you can't go wrong with Honeybird lol.

Love this place! The coffee and pastries are consistently excellent, and the decor is really charming.

Great service, such a nice and pretty place. Super quaint and easy to order. The lavender matcha is so delicious and all my friends loved their lattes and cold brews :).

The coffee was alright and the pastries were a bit disappointing. Overall, this place was a bit pricey, but I guess that is to be expected in this part of Williamsburg.

It's certainly a pricey but so is everywhere in Manhattan these days...that being said, the peppermint mocha latte I got was absolutely worth it - one of the best drinks I've had in a while!

Decided to try a new coffee spot and was pleasantly surprised! The staff is super friendly and the decor is cute and lively. I got a cold brew with oat milk and a pastry-- both were great! Will definitely be coming here again
