One of our family’s favorite dessert spot! I always get the Sweetie! It is made as soon as you order- almost no wait time. Interior is nicely decorated and tables and chairs are always clean (not sticky).

Cozy ice cream shop with friendly staff and very yummy ice cream with unique honey topping. Plenty of free parking in the plaza. There are two small tables and some counter seating available but most customers take orders to go. I really enjoyed it and will be returning.

The BEST soft serve and such wonderful options. I tried the honeybee with honeycomb and it was fabulous. Will definitely be back to try their other flavors. I just wish the parking situation was better and that they opened before all the lunch rush so I could get in and out faster.

Came back to this place after pandemic. The milk ice-cream still tasted creamy and yummy. Love their Honey mee and Yuzu Affogato. A Must try if you like creamy soft serve ice-cream made with real milk

I don’t have photos cause I started eating before thinking but get the Dalgona affogato! You can thank me with a heart. The workers are kind and the ice cream comes out quick. Best part is price already includes tax so no guessing how much you need to pay. Place is small, I think 1 table and a little counter area, not the best place to hang out. We usually get it on the go.

Misleading product description and image! I thought I was ordering a drink based on the picture, but it turned out to be ice cream with honeycomb. To make it worse, the description tricked me into paying extra for a honeycomb topping, even though it was already included. This felt like a dishonest way to get more money. Extremely disappointed and won’t be ordering again!

If you are looking for high-quality milk ice cream, this is the right place. I've tried the chocolate, affogato, matcha, and honey flavored ice creams, and they all taste rich. Among them, I like matcha ice cream the most. Highly recommended if you like matcha tea flavor. Matcha syrup and honey go well with milk-flavored ice cream, which I love very much. The staff are friendly and the store is cute.

Always in love with their milk shake but this review is based on this location. This one always looks like it's closed cuz lights are always off, it's dark inside and no sign saying it's open or closed. Additionally there is some kind of lock on the door hanging so if they want more biz, they need to put up a sign or something.

Small and quick dessert spot! Matcha affogato: 7.9/10. YUMMY! Super sweet so definitely only for people who have a sweet tooth. Milk soft serve with matcha tea and honey drizzle. Could definitely do without the honey drizzle, but the matcha flavor is very intense which balances out the sweetness a little bit. The affogato isn't too hot, so the soft serve doesn't melt right away. Perfect sweet treat for sweets lovers!

Was craving some ice cream and came across this cute soft serve spot! I decided to try one of their new menu items, the Chestnut Shake. Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to expectations--the drink looked nothing like the photo, missing the drizzle around the cup, and the shake itself was much lighter in color. The texture was very melty and on the sweeter side, but the flavor was decent. Presentation: 3/10. Taste: 5/10. Employee was friendly and order came out quickly. There is also a kiosk by the register to order from as well!

Came in here to try the fresh ice cream and was not disappointed. The ice cream is really good, but the star of this place is the fresh honeycomb that is added to the ice cream. Definitely a place to try the other flavors next time.

I haven't had a Honeymee in so long and we decided to stop by while we're in California. I remember it tasting better years ago. The ice cream was quite bland. It honestly is just plain ice cream - not vanilla. The unique part is the honey and it's just a honeycomb on top so only the tip of the ice cream tastes like honey. If you're craving honey like ice cream, find a place that serves Australian ice cream with the Hokey Pokey flavor.

I'm so happy I don't have to trek all the way to LA's Japanese Village to try Honeymee--this Irvine location is just as great! It's in a super busy plaza, so parking can be a bit of a challenge (same as the LA spot), but honestly, it's worth it for dessert, right? You might have to circle a few times, but there's usually parking not too far away, so no big deal. Now, let's talk about the ice cream, delicious doesn't even begin to cover it. They've got some really tasty flavors, including vegan options, and the texture is smooth and creamy. I tried the matcha Honey with strawberry, and I'm telling you, it's so good, like I could eat it every day. The honeycomb on top is a total game changer, and the honey, when it chills, gets this chewy texture that's just amazing. My daughter went for the yuzu flavor (I think?)--it's like vanilla and honey, and she loved it too! All in all, this place is a win for anyone who loves good ice cream, honey, or just a fun spot to hang out with friends. It's a little on the loud side, but that's part of the vibe, and you can still enjoy your treat and a chat. Definitely coming back for more!

I tried Honeymee for the first time and got the Honeymee soft serve with matcha and strawberry. Let me just say--it was absolutely worth it! The matcha on top tasted incredibly fresh and creamy, and the addition of honey was a total game changer. I've never had honey with soft serve before, and it added such a nice sweetness that really elevated the dessert. The soft serve itself was silky, smooth, and packed with flavor. We added strawberry at the bottom, and I loved that it included actual chunks of fresh strawberry--it was such a nice touch. I will say the portion is on the smaller side for the price (about $7-$8), but the quality is outstanding, so it feels worth it for a treat. The only downside is the location--it's in a very busy plaza, so parking might be tricky. Overall, Honeymee is a great spot to stop by if you're craving a high-quality dessert. The service was so sweet. She recommended the darling w corn flake and the green grape affogato and both were delicious. The darling wasn't too sweet and the green grape was refreshing.

Was really good I wish they could add some other toppings like nuts, but over all great!! Great customer service employees were very nice. It was a little small inside so we had to take the ice cream to go.

I got the Honey Matcha Latte and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed... it just tastes like milk. The matcha flavor is completely absent and the honey flavor is really REALLY light. The service was nice and the drink came out quickly, but I'm upset that I spent $5.87 on a cup of milk. Don't come if you actually like matcha. Come if you want expensive milk.

Can't go wrong with soft serve at Honeymee! Service and quality has been pretty consistent everywhere I've gone. The honeycomb itself is too good to pass up.

As a matcha lover, this place is a dream! I've been coming to Honeymee multiple times for their matcha soft serve, and it's consistently amazing. The flavor is perfectly balanced--not overly sweet, just the right hint of sweetness--and the texture is so creamy and smooth. It's everything I look for in a great soft serve. I usually get it to-go, and I'm impressed with how thoughtfully they pack it. They place the soft serve cup in a larger styrofoam container surrounded by ice, with a secure cover on the cup itself. Even with my 15-minute drive home, it stays perfectly intact without melting. I've also tried it with honey on top, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're taking it to-go--the honey hardens by the time you get home and feels unnecessary since the soft serve is already perfectly sweet on its own. The restaurant itself is quite small, with just a few tables and chairs, so it's not the best spot to hang out for a while. However, if you're looking for amazing matcha soft serve, this is definitely the place to go!

I cannot wait to be back in Orange County just for this ice cream. It is so delicious, the honey comb is so yummy as well, we only paid $13 for both of our ice creams so the prices are fantastic along with great and quick service. It was a busy place but it's definitely a spot to bring your family for a sweet treat, I can't wait to come back soon.

This spot has always been a staple soft serve place for me, but this time I tried getting it to go. I have always been worried that the soft serve would melt during transport, but they pack the cup in a styrofoam container filled with ice, and my soft serve was still the perfect texture after the 20 minute drive home! The one thing I would recommend, but I'm not sure if they can do, is to get the honey on the side and pour it on right before you eat it, as it gets hardened when cooled for a long time.

Absolutely amazing soft serve! This place has the best soft serve I've ever tried. I recommend getting the sweetie for the honey drizzle on top. The honey is so fresh and it compliments the rich and creamy soft serve really well. It takes them seconds to prepare it so you can expect to wait next to nothing to get your order!

Amazing place to get a late night sweet treat! They have super unique flavors- I tried the yuzu ice cream and it was amazing! It was a vanilla soft serve with some yuzu syrup on top- a great mixture of sweet and tangy.

I love their soft-serve ice cream! I think at this point, I just visit all the different locations around my area. The service and quality have been consistent with each visit and throughout the different locations, which I love! I would say that if you don't like super sweet ice cream, you may want to add on additional honey as it is already pretty sweet without it. The flavor isn't too overpoweringly strong, just a pop of flavor that makes it just perfect. The only downside is that this location is a bit small, so it is not a good place to hangout at and play games for too long.

I have come here countless times and love it! My faveorite thing to get is the matcha affogato. The soft server is creamy and smooth. The matcha balances out the sweetness and the honey turns into crunchy goodness.

Quick service and a couple seats inside if you wanted to enjoy your sweet treats there. Got the matcha sweetie and oh my goodness, it served my matcha needs!! The flavor isn't too heavy which made this my boyfriend's favorite dessert. The honey could definitely overpower the matcha unless you eat it w the correct spoon proportions LOL. I saw in store that they use premium quality matcha but they do offer ceremonial matcha to be sprinkled on top. I actually tried the other location in Buena Park and I prefer the Irvine location due to its quality consistency. In the past I've tried the peach milkshake which was a little too sweet for my liking, but that's just a personal preference. The matcha milkshake was also pretty good!

Stopped by Honeymee after hearing great things, and it definitely lived up to the hype! I got the Matcha Honeymee Ice Cream and the classic Honeymee Ice Cream, and both were absolutely delicious. The matcha flavor was rich and smooth, while the honey ice cream had the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The service was friendly and quick, and the staff made sure to explain the menu and help with recommendations. The ambiance inside is small but cozy, perfect for a quick treat, though it can get a bit crowded. Free parking is a big plus, and overall, it's a great spot for anyone craving unique and tasty ice cream. I'll definitely be coming back to try more flavors!

This place would be Pooh Bear's honey dream!!! Honeymee features soft serve, shakes, and various drinks with honey as one of its main stars. I love getting the Sweetie--it's their vanilla soft serve with honey drizzle. The ice cream is so fresh and creamy and the honey you can tell is 100% natural. It's a combo that sounds weird but it's perfect. I feel like the ice cream is a tiny bit on the less sweet side so the honey drizzle is a perfect addition. Inside is pretty small, so I would probably suggest getting to go. If you do opt for delivery, they do package if very nicely and over ice, so your frozen treats stay nice and cold. If you love honey and delicious soft serve--this place is for you!!!

Honeymee has unique sundae themes for basic soft serve. I've never tried a place that specializes in honey sundaes and I very much enjoyed it. The honey tasted like high quality and went well with the vanilla soft serve. The service was very good when I was there. It was pretty busy but the team was working hard to get the desserts out and it took maybe 5 minutes.

Seriously some of my favorite ice cream I've ever had. I don't even like honey much but honeymee is so good on that creamy ice cream. It's not too sweet which I like and the honey adds exactly what is needed. I usually get the regular affogato with espresso and it hits every time. Tastes the same as it did 6+ years ago. Sooo goood

The service is quick and the ice cream is smooth and creamy. It's not too sweet and is delicious. The only thing I would change is adding fresh strawberries.

love coming to this place for their honeymee soft serve - the original milk flavored ice cream with a honeycomb piece on top. haven't tried their other items but their honeymee is hands down the best ice cream i've had. the milk flavored ice cream is perfectly well balanced with the sweet honeycomb. flavor - 10/10 customer service - 7/10

I'm a fan of this place! The interior is cozy and decorated with cute honey and bee decor. Staff is very nice and accomodating with our questions. We ordered the matcha affogato ice cream and brown sugar boba ice cream. The soft serve is so creamy and served as a good backdrop for the accompanying flavors. The matcha and honey was a good combination, with the sweetness offsetting the bitterness perfectly. The brown sugar was just the right amount of sweetness and the boba was soft and chewy. Great snack for this weather!

This is one of my favorite dessert spots! The ice cream is so creamy and perfect along with the honey and other add ons you might get. You honestly can't go wrong! They have come up with new flavors such as the matcha one that is also very good. I miss the bread ice cream sandwich that was what started my love for this place. Service is good and quick. You usually don't have to wait much unless it's super packed.

Was craving something sweet after dinner in the same plaza as Honeymee and decided to grab dessert here. Got the Honey Affogato and really enjoyed it. Coffee is strong and a nice balance with the soft serve and honey. Honey ended up not too overpowering over the coffee and soft serve which was preferred. Even my girlfriend was pleasantly surprised with how well everything balanced together. Their soft serve is good and even the classic one with just honey is good, but if you want a small change (and enjoy strong sweet coffee) I'd recommend trying this out. Price is expensive for what it is in my opinion. I never felt the price matched the amount you got but the quality is good. A nice once in awhile splurge for me honestly. Worth the try!

It was my first time trying Honeymee and I can't get enough. I will be coming back to try the Matcha honey because I got the sweetie and then I also got the honey affogato. Both of these were so delicious, the honey affogato is strong coffee, but it balances is out with they honey. That honey is something else though, it's perfect. The parking was easy to find and the service was so fast. I couldn't believe when I got the ice cream, it was literally so fast. The place is small on the inside but they have really nice decor up, makes it feel like home.

My brother told me about this place so on a hot day, we decided to swing by for some dessert. It's a small cute place and ghee service was good. I ordered the regular milk and one with strawberry jam, as I was hesitant to try other ones that may seem too sweet for my pallet. The soft serve ice cream was high quality! Clean, not soggy, and delicious. The strawberry jam added a nice extra touch for me. I would definitely come back again to try other flavors.

I wish they can make it less sweet. Then I would come here more often. But I could tell the quality of ingredient uses were good quality items and that part is addictive. I just like going super simple. Plain milkshake with honey. That's all you need cuz it tastes great Just I really wish there is like 50% less sweet options like one of those boba places.

Got this to-go and my experience was amazing. They stow each ice cream cup in a larger cup with ice so it does not melt. To me, that's going above and beyond and I love it. The ice cream + honey was a phenomenal combination. The way the honey hardens a bit ended up being a nice texture. The soft serve was creamy and satisfying. So good! Will be coming back.

service was SO fast & the store is very pretty (but also very small. i think there was only one table inside). the honey was surprisingly not overwhelmingly sweet as i thought it would be. complimented very well by the soft serve. the honeycomb itself has a strong honey flavor (of course) & was a fun experience, though i probably wouldn't get it again next time. overall not too sweet & so worth it

This wee little shop is so cute! I love the ambiance and vibe of the place! The service is quick and with a smile. They know their menu and are happy to help you order. Their menu has typical Asian flavored ice cream and some unique honey items. I just wanted a small snack and LOVE matcha so I just got a cup of matcha ice cream. It is a soft and creamy ice cream with nice mild matcha flavors. If you love matcha I would recommend it. If you don't I would define say try it because the flavor is mild and this could be your gateway product into loving matcha

SOOOOOO GOOD! Seriously the creamiest, thickest, best, delicious soft serve I've had! I got the Matcha Affogato and it was perfection! Not too sweet, ceremonial grade matcha wasn't bitter and the drizzle of raw honey with the cold soft serve was sticky and sooo good! I also love that the portions aren't super huge they're the perfect size! HIGHLY recommend and my new addiction lol

It's a cute little place to stop by to satisfy a night time ice cream craving. I was hesitant at first to try because I can't stand toooo sweet of a dessert but I'm glad I did. They really know how to not make their items too sweet and leave the star of the show to shine: the honey! I got the matcha sweetie and though the matcha was very subtle, it made the milk and the honey truly shine. My tip is to add sea salt. It's a perfect touch to make the perfect balance of sweet and salty with that hint of salt!

The brown sugar ice cream is literally to die for. You can really taste the true flavor of the milk in the ice cream and the serving size is perfect. Came out right away too. Loved it.

The sweet treat is a 5/5. The honey and honeycomb on top of their creamy, high quality soft serve is absolutely delicious! Hits the spot when you're craving a sweet and cold treat. They have several flavors and combinations that include matcha, chocolate, caramel, etc. The atmosphere is all right. It's small. There are a total of 7 seats: There are two small tables for two and 3 seats by the long table pushed up to the front window. Service was fine. I would definitely come again.

You can't go wrong with ice cream. The line was long but the service is fast. Our orders were in our hands before we finished paying. No ambiance to speak of. We stood outside and ate our ice creams before heading home for the night.

Delicious. Came to Newport as usual to spend Christmas over with family. We decided try Honeymee, and we were pleasantly surprised by how light, refreshing, and pure the vanilla soft serve tasted. The honeycomb was icing on the cake. It was delicious, and the honey tasted sweet and fresh. Definitely will be returning, and I recommend this place to anyone who hasn't tried it.

Today was my 2nd time visiting this location. There's 2 locations here in OC; One in Buena Park & the other here in Irvine. Personally, I prefer this Irvine location as it's more convenient overall in terms of parking, service, ordering, etc. The one in Buena Park is more of a "walk thru/window service" whereas here in Irvine, albeit small, ordering is inside & there's 2 tables to hang out to chill & also spaces to stand around if you'd like. I can't speak for others but I personally live closer to the BP one than Irvine, yet I've only gone to the BP one once & that's enough for me. The workers here at Irvine are also more welcoming, service is friendlier, & a lot quicker in preparing/completing the order regardless of when they're quiet or packed to the max. I've yet to try any of the ice creams but that's an experience for another time I suppose!

This place was so cute! I love the art on the wall, they had a drawing of Girl with the Pearl Earring holding ice cream. Also I don't know why it took me so long but if you get the chance try the Ghirardelli Carmel option with Sea Salt. You won't regret it. I've try the basic one with honey... doesn't compare. The match is ok. But the Carmel has a good balance of sweet and salty. And the perfect crunch with the corn flakes. Honestly I've been to Honeymee a couple of times but this choice really takes the cake. I can see why people keep coming back now.

I love the taste and feeling of the ice cream. It was very creamy but light in my mouth. The honey was great too! I love the taste of honey over sugar so this was really a treat! The service was quick and there's places for people to sit. However, the only complaint was that the honey comb, since it was sticky and would freeze by the coldness of the ice cream, kept getting stuck in my teeth. And the yuzu one tasted a bit strange. Eating this was also a bit messy, especially with another person. Other than that, I recommend people to take a try!
