I came here on a whim last week for lunch with my old supervisor. I have been back twice since then! The food is absolutely amazing! I got shrimp and my supervisor got the chicken and steak quesadillas. They were both great. Each potato bite is FULL of flavor. The sweet potato is delicious and so is the mac & cheese. The prices are very reasonable too. I highly recommend this place 😋

Finally took a chance, it even took me awhile to review... All i can say is that we tried. The sir did let us know that he was by himself when us 3 arrived. He didn't seemed too pleased with our orders, but those regulars that showed up after us go theirs quickly, so we'll try that route next time🤔 everthiny was opposite of what he asked how we wanted it, so again we know how to order next time as well. This was all of our first times, so I'll take all the blame. We received our food, most of it was good, but again that of what was opposite of what we ordered those that choose to send back and those that choose to just deal with it🤷🏽‍♀️. There was no music and not a very appealing ambiance for dining-in so maybe togo is the norm here. All I can say is I can't wait till Jay's Cafe open back up!!!!!!🤦🏽‍♀️the kool-aid is slamming tho!!!! 20MAY25

I ordered salmon croqettes with rice, vegetables, and over easy eggs. I got potatoes and hard over cooked eggs. My chicken wings wasn't done.

I LOVE honeys I can’t go to Detroit without stopping there. All the staff is so friendly. The koolaid is the best I’ve ever had. & the food is truly divine. It makes me want to move to Detroit. You can tell they put so much love in it everytime. 🥹💖 AMAZING!

Usually the lamb chops are tender and delicious however today they were very undercooked, very, very pink and very tough! Extremely disappointing! What a waste of money!!! I definitely will not be ordering from this establishment ever again 😡

Food is great, fast service, and clean. However, the menu can be overwhelming due to so many diverse options. I could not pay the up charge to get okra in place of fries for no apparent reason. The lady working the cashier seemed to be in a rush and was very short that’s why I gave 4 stars. I totally recommend trying this food. They also have a very limited lunch menu.

Food was great. A little pricey but I got a lot. I needed to use a restroom tho.

Never knew this place was right up the street. I ordered the swai nuggets, a fried tilapia sandwich, hand cut fries, mac and cheese and a large Kool-aid. Of everything I'd definitely come back for the tilapia sandwich and the mac and cheese (and I'm not even big on mac). The Kool-aid was also 🔥🔥 (black cherry and tropical blue mixed).

Honey's Bistro is a cafe offering a variety of food options. They have yummy breakfast noshes, such as omelets in a variety of stuffings to choose from, pancakes, french toast, shrimp & grits, and my favorite breakfast meal which I ordered, salmon patties with rice and scrambled cheese eggs. The meal tasted like home. The eggs were perfectly cooked to order, the rice was fluffy, and the salmon patties, which were cooks with bell pepper and onion were super tasty. There are other options on the menu for lunch and dinner. There are a variety of side dishes such as mashed potatoes, broccoli, macaroni and cheese, and fried mushrooms. They also have a variety of hibachi choices with chicken, steak, shrimp, and salmon. They offer snacking meals such as sandwiches and wing dings; and entrees such as grilled chicken, shrimp stir fry, pasta, lamb and turkey chops. You may carry out or dine in. There are plenty of tables. I noticed that they're on Uber Eats, GrubHub and Door Dash.

This is so disappointing. Using Uber Eats we ordered 2 pork chop dinners. The pork chops themselves were dry and thin. One dinner we ordered with Mac and Fried Mushrooms the other with Mac and Cheese Sticks, both had Mac and greens. Not to mention the macaroni tasted pre made and the greens were bland. I ordered from here multiple times less than a year ago and I am gobsmacked at how they've changed! I will most likely not spend my dollar here in the future

The food was delicious. Especially Pork chops greens and yams were. Will definitely go again.

HOTT and flavorful. Great lunch option. Will definitely be back to try some other things on the menu.

Not sure what happened since my last visit, but everything changed. Is there a new person in training that prepares the food? Is there a shortage on supplies? My Turkey club last time was awesome, that's what made me come back. Not even gonna talk about the fries. This time not so much at all. Totally disappointed. I've only had the club sandwich in the past and it's been great. What ever is going on I hope they correct it soon. I will give them another try and maybe select different items.

Where do I start? Went there for meatloaf but they had no meatloaf! So I ordered a burger. Let me just say don't get a burger there if you're into burgers. First of all they advertise that ALL BURGERS come with lettuce,tomatoes,mayo,red onions,pickles,ketchup and mustard. I asked for my lettuce and tomatoes on the side and of course they put them on the burger. The thing about that is, he repeated that back to me when I placed my order. Ok so I get ready to eat my burger and first of all it's charbroiled. I do not like charbroiled burgers. When businesses make their burgers charbroiled they advertise it. Menu does not state charbroiled, burger was extremely DRY!! And I do mean dry. Then there was no red onions,no pickles,no ketchup, no Mayo, and no mustard. I was not happy because I love all those items on my burgers. Also I didn't get a good vibe from them either,but that's just me. I'm not going back that was my first and last time!! My only regret is that I should have taken a picture before I gave it to my dog.

I had heard such great things about this restaurant. Finally decided to try it and the customer service was horrible. I ordered and when I picked up my order the customer service was horrible. The vibe was horrible and such bad energy in their. I don't suggest and won't be back..

I would call this a neighborhood gem. Was recommended by an associate and I'm very satisfied. Fast and accurate food order. I generally call ahead and within 10 minutes my order is ready. I've tried several things so far: veggie quesadillas - simple and filling. Came with salsa and sour cream Chicken cheese philly - within the last 30 days I've had about 5. Delicious and cheesy with juicy chicken. Choice of sauces are: Italian dressing, Mayo, ranch , and A1 sauce. Mozzarella sticks (6pc) always hot. I believe they drop these in the fryer as soon as you arrive. Only takes about a minute or two to fry (I can appreciate the freshness) Overall I'll be back. Breakfast is next on the menu as they do have a nice selection also they have salmon patties :)

Deli turkey as a turkey sandwich. They are selling food you can go to the grocery store and make yourself.

Delicious, delicious, delicious ! The food here at Honey's is like no other. From The chicken & waffles, to a burger or a Turkey salad, it is all good and very tasty. Come on in and try your self some GOOD eating @ HONEY'S PERIOD!

I had chicken and waffles but I did not eat them right away. I did wait until about a 1/2 hour before eating and with that said. The wings were really good even after the wait so hot they most likely would of been exceptional. I did not care for the taste of the syrup however the waffle was very good quality. My only complaint is the styrofoam box when putting hot wings in a box like that there should be some kind of paper liner because the hot wings out of the fryer made melting marks in the styrofoam box which I don't think is good. I recommend a cardboard box of some kind with fried foods for this reason or a paper liner barrier against the styrofoam.

I had the slider burgers, wings, and chicken stir fry. The chicken stir fry had a lot of flavor it was sweet and delicious. The chicken was good, average chicken. The burgers were really good, meat was tender and juicy. Overall would come back food was very good.

The shrimp Alfredo was excellent and the chicken stir fry a must a little wait but what do u expect when making fresh to order I'll wait will return soon...

Everything I get from Honey's I love, I've had their chicken & steak wraps, their wings (Honeys Hot is my fav), Alfredo, Fish entree, quesadillas, burgers, sweet potato fries....I eat there often since they are right up the street from me. I love it and would encourage anyone in D1 to visit. A few cons are that their prices are inconsistent sometimes and the wait times can be long even if you call ahead, they have gotten better and the food is ALWAYS fresh and hot.

I have to be honest. Whatever that blue cheese/feet, smelling/ tasting substance that they are putting on the waffle for the chicken and waffle meal... is horrific. My meal was inedible because of that smell and I couldn't even chew it. Stop putting whatever that crap is on the waffle. Chicken was ultra veiny and had the blue cheese/feet smelling/ tasting substance on it...

Good food... Good quality... Good service... Great all around! Very tasty burgers... the Philly sub's are loaded.... Very tasty waffles and crispy fried chicken... Can't wait to yet the fajitas, they look amazing!

i'm just visiting family out here and was looking for some good food which happened to be a black owned business the turkey club was delicious would definitely recommend and will be coming back. support black businesses y'all
