Honeysuckle Gelato Fenton

Honeysuckle was a wonderful experience for dessert in the Fenton area! As someone who is lactose intolerant, it’s difficult finding gelato places with quality, non-dairy options that aren’t sorbets. Honeysuckle had a chocolate brownie non-dairy option which I was eager to try: I’m so happy I did. It was just as dark chocolate-y, creamy and rich as I was hoping, and didn’t feel non-dairy at all (which is typically rough texture-wise). Highly recommend to anyone who wants a non-dairy option and values the texture and richness of gelato!

Bella was so kind and friendly I just had to leave a review for the incredible service! Not to mention the gelato is out of this world! It was so hard to choose a flavor, you can’t go wrong!! Highly recommend!

Honeysuckle Gelato is a great addition to Cary’s growing collection of upscale shops, nestled among enough face serums and $100 leggings to make your wallet break into a nervous sweat. It’s not the newest kid on the block, but it’s definitely part of the fresh wave of “treat yourself” spots popping up in the area. The flavor selection? Impressive. The gelato itself? Not bad at all. In fact, some scoops are quite good. But let’s be real—if you’ve had gelato in Florence or Rome, this won’t exactly make you weep with nostalgia. It’s more “souvenir spoon” than “sacred Italian experience.” Tasty, sure, but not candle-holding worthy. That said, the banana bread pudding flavor deserves a round of applause. It channels the warm, gooey glory of Magnolia Bakery’s iconic dessert and almost justifies the trip on its own. It’s rich, comforting, and dangerously easy to inhale. But here’s where things get sticky: the tipping prompt. A $1 or $2 suggested tip… for scooping a single scoop of gelato? Unless that scoop comes with a eucalyptus-steamed towel and a brief guided meditation, we might need to rethink the service-to-tip ratio. It’s gelato, not a five-course tasting menu. In short, Honeysuckle Gelato is a solid stop for a sweet treat and some light indulgence, just don’t expect the Roman holiday of your dreams. And maybe bring your own spa towel.

All flavors were good, especially salted caramel brownie and honey bun. Friendly staff and good price. And had vegan options. Very creamy ice cream and gelato but not that many options,Would come again

In this quaint and delicate shop, the delicious gelato is like nectar from a dream, each bite radiating a rich aroma that captivates the soul. However, the variety of flavors, like the leaves of autumn, though beautiful, are sparse, bringing a tinge of regret even as one savors the taste. These limited flavors are like an unfinished poem—lovely yet fleeting, always leaving one longing for a richer chapter next time. Each visit becomes a culinary adventure on the tip of the tongue, searching for that unique and ephemeral delight.

This little gelataria provides a nice small selection of fresh gelato with some decent cookies as well as the normal associated drinks, shakes, floats, and fresh made waffle cones and bowls. Serving sizes are a little small, but the flavors are pretty strong. The solid adds to the flavors; brownie bits, chips, chunks, etc. are small enough to blend well and are pretty evenly incorporated. The Blondie and Chocolate Brownie were both creamy and was a nice blend of gelato with the adds. The cookies had good flavor and were cooked properly, but were just OK. This is a very busy entertainment/dining district. Parking can be challenging and foot traffic can be quite busy.

My daughters soccer team came in today after 2 wins at wakemed soccer park. The staff were extremely accommodating and kind to us and our kids. To top it off the gelato is A-mazing. Definitely check them out. Thank you Honeysuckle staff for making our kids day!!!!

TJ is incredibly sweet and we were so fortunate to have crossed paths with her! The Gelato is just as sweet as she was, 10/10 experience!!

Recent visit to local fav left me with little to suckle! The serving sizes seem to be getting smaller & in gelato ice cream scooping fashion the cone was dry & empty. Highly disappointed on this rainy day. I'm not sure how soon I will return but I hope when I do they will put gelato inside the cone! The Service was great 10/10! Mango & peach very good. Need a printer for receipts please in the middle of Fenton. Comfy couches outside. Seems a little pricey for the size/price but it's very good tasting!

Was in the area returning a pair of shoes at Nike and decided to stop in for a quick treat! I'm glad I did! The Slushie was fresh & very affordable at $5.14! Service was quick as well!

Friendly service and lots of great flavors to choose from. I had the peach sorbet, and it was very refreshing. My only complaint is that it had a hard thing in it, which may have been part of the peach pit. I still enjoyed the sorbet, but it def killed the moment a little.

Just tried this gelato spot for the first time in the Fenton Mall. They have a lot of variety of flavors and some good choices like cookie sandwiches and affogato. I had the mango sorbet and it was one of the best I have ever had. I went for two scoops and frankly it was more generous than I expected so next time I'd stick with one. Would love to come back and try some other flavors. I did try quite a few before I had to commit which I really appreciate. There's not a lot of room inside but some nice outdoor seating with shade just outdoors.

Holy vegan gelato! I'm always searching for the next best dairy-free ice cream, and Honeysuckle just stole my heart. Creamy, no aftertaste, so good. I was told that they usually have four vegan ice cream options and rotate by season. I got the peanut butter cup, and it was incredible. I've tried vegan ice creams all over the country and this rivals the all vegan Sweet Ritual in Austin (RIP, it closed 2022). Service was fast and friendly. It's super tiny, but Fenton's outside seating is delightful! We are so lucky to have this shop in Cary! Dig in, y'all.

Came here with out of town family and they loved it! Line was out the door and only one staff person apparently serving guests. I stayed outside to avoid more inside crowding. My husband ordered the raspberry lemonade sorbet which was popping with flavor and on the sour side of flavor. Good portions. Outside seating.

Parking: located in the Fenton shopping center so there was plenty of parking around Food:cant ever go wrong with chocolate and lots of sprinkles. could have been creamier but did have good flavor and had some brownie bites inside of it. looked like they had some speciality flavors which they may change every so ofte Service: they let you try flavors to see which one you liked. they werent busy at the time so its didnt take long to wait Ambience: small dessert shop. didnt have indoor seating so had to sit outside which had some nice aesthetics since Febton is a newer built shooping/resturant center

I'm pretty much obsessed with honeysuckle gelato. I rarely come to Fenton without getting gelato from here. It's conveniently located right in the middle of the Fenton district which I love and there are a few areas of seating outside available both bar stools and soft seating but the square is also very close by so you can get your gelato and go there and sit or walk around. The location is cashless so prepare for that. Now on to the good stuff, the gelato is amazing. I've had lemon blueberry basil and salted caramel brownie. The flavors are very pronounced and the toppings and ingredients are hearty.'I had whole pieces of brownie in my gelato which was lovely. A scoop is a healthy scoop, they don't skimp on the servings. The staff is always very pleasant and move quickly through the long lines. It's easily becoming one of my fav ice cream shops in the area.

Super cute spot in Fenton! The gelato case is colorful and chock full of interesting flavors! The employee behind the counter was super friendly and was happy to let us sample as we wished since there was no line behind us. I sampled their cranberry goat cheese, peppermint, and honey ricotta pistachio. All were tasty, but I decided to go with my old faithful flavors of nutella and peanut butter. The gelato did not disappoint it was creamy and flavorful. The only downside is the shop does not have anywhere for you to sit inside. If it's a nice day/night Fenton has a stellar outdoor patio right in front of this gelato shop. If you want gelato and it's chilly out, you're just better off taking it to go. I'll definitely visit this shop again!

From the delectable scoops of gelato to the smiling staff and lovely outdoor seating, this gelato spot is amazing! My daughter and I were shopping in Fenton and decided to stop for gelato. I sampled Butter Pecan Blondie and immediately closed my eyes to savor all the yummy goodness. So creamy with a slight cookie crunch at the same time. An awesome twist on butter pecan flavor!!!! If they have a flavor that's better, I will become a serious Honeysuckle addict. Next time I wanna try Snickers flavor. My pre-teen daughter ordered Cap'n Crunch which is your thing if you want gelato that tastes like an actual bowl of cereal with milk! If you are in the Fenton area, you will not regret stopping here for a nice dessert. There may be a bit of a line but it moves fast and is well worth the wait!

Delicious!! We visited on a Saturday night before catching a movie. I tried samples of the lemon raspberry crumble and the salted caramel brownie. They were both so good, but I think the lemon raspberry crumble was the best. One employee said this was a seasonal item so it won't be around much longer. My husband got the mint chocolate chip which was also yummy. It was pricey for a small amount, but it was very good and a cute outside ambiance. I loved the comfy couches. We'd definitely go back and I'd be excited to see what seasonal items they have next.

So many delicious flavors and products, it was hard to decide on which to get! While walking around Fenton, I stopped at Honeysuckle Gelato for a pint to-go. I was greeted upon arrival by friendly, patient employees. The inside of the shop is small. The outdoor seating area was larger, but soaked at the time from the rain. They offer a variety of flavors and options. I was full from lunch so I decided not to try the flavors or purchase a cone. I eventually chose a pint of key lime pie. I'm glad I did since it was creamy, tart, and flavorful. The graham cracker swirl was perfect. The pints are pricy at $9. Overall, I had a positive experience here and want to return to try their other flavors.

This location is new and clean inside. I was tempted, so I had to try this. It's good, but it's very little for $6, which is to be expected for Gelato. Not much to say. It tasted good but not anything more to point out. The service is subpar, and for that alone, I probably will not come here again unless someone I know is dying to try it. There aren't any pleasantries of any kind from the staff here. I take it that the staff was overworked with this being a new location and constantly being packed.

We met up with some friends for the first time here. What a great place this is! They had several delicious flavors that you can try. The birthday cake flavor was my favorite. The inside is small and can get crowded really fast, but it is made up for with the nice outside seating area, which is super cute with comfy couches and a little wooden bar top area for you to sit and enjoy your gelato at. The staff was very friendly and patient with all the kids wanting to try different flavors. If you enjoy gelato and cute little outdoor shopping centers this is the place for you!

I love gelato!! I don't get through chance to be in Fenton too often but whenever I am, I always have some gelato from here the Ube gelato is so good. They have great flavors and they let you sample as well. The staff is so nice and always recommends great options whenever I visit. There's also plenty of seating outside so this makes for a perfect visit for a nice day to sit outside and enjoy gelato. Such a nice area to be in.

This may be the best Gelato I've ever had...the Brown Butter and Creme Brûlée was to die for. Creamy yet light yet rich yet flavorful, sweet yet not too oversweet. Fresh. Just divine. I went back in to get a pint but they didn't have pint containers that day (minor hiccup). RDU has really stepped up its ice cream / now gelato game!! LOVED this place. Super cute - great place to sit outside when nice out with friends. I also tried the Charlotte location and enjoyed this location's gelato much more! Side note: this is not affiliated with the other Honeysuckles in RDU area.

I ordered the Cap'n Crunch gelato. I love the creativity of the flavor, and what was even better was that the taste was good as well. I had it on a regular cone, which was as tasty as the ice cream itself. This is a great place for a quick treat while shopping. My only critique would be the seating situation. It was cold and rainy. It would be nice if they had at least 1-2 tables with a outdoor heater and umbrella. In terms of service, the staff allowed us to taste some flavors and provided recommendations. This was helpful.

Honeysuckle Gelato Fenton in Cary is open for business. My husband and I stopped in to grab a scoop while walking and exploring the businesses that are currently open in this area. You can sample up to two gelato flavors, I tried the watermelon and cheesecake. Both were good but I went with the watermelon in a cup and my husband went with the lemon raspberry crumble in a cone. I can't wait to return to try a few other flavors.

Great location for a gelato shop, right in the heart of Fenton. Great flavors including V and GF options. They have baked goods, floats and shakes. Nice seating options to sit and enjoy your gelato. Don't forget to sign up for rewards.

I love the location of this Gelto shop. It's quite lovely with a beautiful interior and exterior. The bathroom is also nice and clean. The gelato was super sweet. The only drawback was the fact that it was a bit runny and melted right away the moment I stepped outside. Overall, great folks and very kind.

We got 2 decent size scoops in a cup for $6.50. The pistachio flavor was fantastic, the ube was good but didn't have enough ube flavor for me. The ice cream here was slightly less rich than other gelato places I've been to. Their flavor selection was also a little uninspiring but it was still good! I'd probably come back if I was in the area. They're open until 10 for an after dinner treat.

Customer service was great. Place is cute. Only open till 6pm though. Really need to push that to 8pm. Missing out on a lot of business. Gelato was tasty. Especially the pistachio salted caramel. Consistency was okay too. It's new. We will try it again.

Overall, I would say this place has good flavors. My partner has enjoyed all the ones he has tried but I have struggled a bit with my flavors. Mostly I was extremely disappointed and embarrassed when I took my parents here and we were all excited they had an Ube flavor, so we decided to get it. When we got around to eating it, it was so incredibly bad. It did not taste like Ube at all and actually tasted like Play doh. I wish places wouldn't hop on trends unless they know how to properly execute it. I know my review is confusing with my stars but aside from that one flavor, the others have been good and taste very fresh.ike their sorbets taste like the actual fruits and my partner loved his banana pudding flavor

I got the strawberry gelato, it was good but nothing special. They have nice outdoor setting for when it's nice out and the stuff was very friendly. Just slightly overpriced for what it is in my opinion. My boyfriend got the birthday cake gelato and enjoyed it but agreed it wasn't the best he's had. Overall, good and in a great location. Good spot to go in the summer after shopping around Fenton.

Ventured out to Fenton and tried Honeysuckle Gelato...here are my thoughts. * I wouldn't call this Gelato ...wife had the Brownie flavor , said it tasted good but was more like ice cream , not gelato . * I had the peach sorbet , was not the consistency of a sorbet ...not bad , but not sorbet. * The poor individual working this morning was dealt a bad hand by the closer. Waffle cones were not ready due to batter not refrigerated long enough and also the register did not work whatsoever...she comped us the gelato ..which was nice ..but we felt bad for her . May try again ..but the flavors didn't excite me ..maybe I'm spoiled by typical Italian gelato .

Best gelato I've had in a very long time! Staff is super friendly. The establishment is very cute and it is located in a very nice area! We had a great time there with my boys. They even had dairy free options for my son, who is allergic!

Cute little new place in the middle of Fenton. We were able to sample a couple of the gelatos and enjoyed all of them. We got a scoop of the key lime pie and thought it was delicious! Perfect treat for a summer night.

An adorable gelato shop in the heart of Fenton! Justin was so kind & offered great suggestions and samples to help us decide what we wanted. We will definitely be back! (PS - don't sleep on the s'mores with coffee flavor!)

Rude! Either the employees hate their life or got a special way to make their customers feel like poop. Free samples. Cashless business... not sure how this is a perk, but whatever. Flavors are unique but not the texture I expected for a gelato place. Will not return.

Tl;dr: Cute area, great variety of flavors, helpful staff Tried going to a Courage soccer game but was rained out so we decided to end our night with some ice cream. We saw that there was a gelato place nearby so we went to check it out. The area that the shop is in is in a upscale area with shopping and restaurants, but last night (Saturday night) it seemed very empty for 7pm. The shop is very cute and neat. There were three staff working when we stepped in so we were helped quickly. They had some signs posted about only two tastings per person, but our members let us take three since we were on the fence. I got the birthday cake, and my friends got the brownie and pistachio. The flavor was great! Rich and creamy, served with wooden "spoons" that were flatter than they were rounded, which is how gelato should be treated due to its higher melting point (affects scoopability). We all got smalls because it was warm and humid outside and it would have melted quickly anyway. This place is a gem, in a new and developing area!

Fig flavored gelato was awesome! Service was great. Bailey was very nice and gave us samples and told us the story behind Honeysuckle. Made us feel like valued customers! Cant wait for the pistachio rosotto!! We will be back!

Good gelato. Like really good. So good we had to go back for pints. The mango taste like a real mango. Banana pudding is really good too.

The service sucked. They have maybe 4 or 5 gluten free options. Nothing special - just the basic like strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, etc. The building was small. Overall sucky and don't plan on returning and wouldn't recommend to a friend!

This place was so yummy and delicious! Ive literally never had gelato this good! They had such an array of flavors as well. I had the birthday cake flavor that seemed to have pieces of cake/sprinkles and frosting inside. Yum! I was surprised to see the flavor "UBE" because I know its like an up and coming flavor these days. My son is gluten free and they had so many gluten free options as well as vegan ones!

Great flavors meets great service with reasonable pricing. The place is new and clean as well. We went late into the summer and the nice lady working the counter mentioned that they were just about to be switching over some of their flavors for Fall. So we will definitely be going back.

This is not your regular gelato, but "southern inspired gelato," as written on the cup. However, their ice cream was still delicious. We went during their soft opening and cannot wait to go back. The Nutella gelato and passion fruit sorbet was delicious, and the staff were very nice especially since they were super busy. Great addition to Fenton.

This Gelato is amazing! The flavor selection is great! There are vegan and allergen free options. I had the Chocolate Brownie and Peanut Butter vegan flavors. They're water based for all my allergen friends. The consistency is incredibly creamy and flavors are great!

It's pretty good, not the best I ever had but doesn't mean it wasn't great. I really like the setup of the area especially inside the Fenton. Not much else to review about it. Great spot!

Delicious! Very unique taste, the cone was very light and I really liked it. It was different from every other place I have ever had. I'm not an expert but I have had gelato in many places including Italy and I will definitely come back, i really enjoyed this place. Awesome decorations, the girl had really cool makeup as well.

Delicious southern inspired gelato. They have unique flavors that aren't traditional Italian gelato flavors but it's dense and creamy just like true gelato. Lemon raspberry crumble, fresh mint chip and banana pudding are delicious!
