Great place to stop for a quick meal. Authentic Chinese food. The people are friendly and welcoming. I ordered steak and chicken on a stick. Both were great! This place has been in this location for a very long time. I remember eating here years ago, I think the same people run it now. Worth a stop if you are in the Whitnel area.

Just went by there today. It's been along time. Place looks different on the inside. OH my Word!!! Best food ever! I got the Cantonese special. Melted in my mouth, the gravy was wonderful. I will be going there more!!

Hong Kong Express is and will always be my favorite Chinese Restaurant. The food is the BEST!! The service is GREAT!! The atmosphere is very comfortable! I love coming 20 miles from home to order food here. I’m rarely in the area but when I am that’s what I’m eating. My favorite is pork fried rice. I like it with the gravy. Everything I have ate from here is so good. Never disappointed

*IF YOU WORK HARD FOR YOUR MONEY DO NOT EAT HERE* ILL START WITH IF THERE IS A STAR LESS THEN ONE ITD BE NEGATIVE 5 (-5) THE FOOD: WE SPENT 40+ DOLLARS ON 3 PLATES AND I OPEN IT AT HOME AND THE JAP. TERYIKI CHKN W/ BROCOLLI-WAS ONLY BROCOLLI AND 4 DICES OF CHICKN!! THE CHICKEN WITH VEGGIES WAS ALLLLL* VEGGIES AND 3 SLICES OF CHICKEN! AND THE FOOD HAD NO TASTE! THEY EITHER DIDNT GIVE US OUR FORTUNE COOKIES CAUSE THEY ARE GREEDY PEOPLE AND/OR THEY WERE MAD WE DIDNT TIP FOR TO-GO FOOD! THAT WAS PRICED OUTRAGEOUS ALREADY JUST DIDNT HAVE IT TO GIVE TODAY. BUT HERES YOUR TIP DO NOT PUT ANYMONEY IN THERE POCKETS CAUSE THIS FOOD JOINT IS HORRIBLE. ** I CALLED THEM TO LET THEM KNOW, SO THEY COULD FIX OUR ISSUE OR MAYBE FIX THE PROBLEM, BUT THEY SAID THEYD GIVE US EXTRA MEAT THE NEXT TIME WE CAME IN, BUT I LET THEM KNOW WE WONT BE SPENDING ANOTHER DOLLAR THERE. I DONT KNOW HOW THERE RATINGS AS GOOD AS IT IS!!! ALSO THEY SAID THEY HAVE NEVER HAD ANY COMPLAINTS WHICH I KNOW HAS TO BE BOLD FACE LIE! THEY MUST BE THAT GREEDY TO DO GOOD HARD WORKING PEOPLE LIKE THIS.

Been eatting here since I was little, great food, and good portions. Love going here time and time again. Also if your in college and your professor let's you eat in class as long as it's in a bowl, the large worshugi fits nicely in a large bowl.

This place is not good anymore. Since this change of ownership the food is terrible. It's mainly the gravy.

Getting greeted with a smile at 5:30 in the morning is rare but here I get a smile every morning and my coffee made my way. Great place to start your day I smile and something you enjoy at the same place at the same time. Hard to find these days. Thank y'all at BlueMoose for getting me off to a great day each morning.

Yelp
Flavorful, fast, consistently good, good prices, enjoy their offerings. Better than most other oriental food in town.

Yelp
Just placed my first order for sesame chicken (chef's special) with fried rice ($0.50 substitute) and two egg rolls. The food was cooked well and the portion was HUGE....was under estimated the size of the dish i was ordering. The only issue, this is a personal issue for me, is that the sesame chicken has mushrooms cooked with it. This was not on the menu.....and i loathe mushrooms. I'll go back, as the food is much better than the local buffet.

Yelp
I am happy this restaurant is close by and I stop by frequently! I am always satisfied with my food and service! They do not mind making it especially hot spicey for me! Yelp
Some of the recipes still resemble those from decades ago. Fortunate that we can still taste real authentic Chinese food!

Yelp
Worse food I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant. I went in today and ordered to go, sweet and sour shrimp and chicken egg foo young. The shrimp had so much breading on it, the shrimp was hard to see. and it was over cooked and hard as a rock. Upon lifting the egg foo young to put on my plate I found a long black hair underneath. It was so disgusting. The egg foo young had stringy stuff hanging off the bottom. Lost my appetite. I won't go back! Yuck!!

Yelp
I ordered through Delivery Chef, a couple days ago. I got the Chef Combination Platter Sweet and Sour Shrimp. When other places do a combination platters they give you a LOT more rice. There wasn't a lot there. The places I've been to will give you a BUNCH of rice, purposefully overflowing the two little side thingys on a standard to go container. However, here they only filled one completely and filled the other one just enough to create a seat for the two cheese wontons I didn't even order. Wontons were one of the options for the side, but I only chose rice. Now I will say that the paltry rice I got was actually really good. It was actually better than the entree itself. Same with the wontons. The Sweet and Sour Shrimp were Huge (or so I thought) the problem was there was SO MUCH BREADING that I had an extra hushpuppy with every shrimp. The shrimp themselves were also very dry. I'd also like to take this opportunity to say, "What mom and pop Chinese restaurant doesn't serve General Tso's Chicken?!?!?" I know that "technically" General Tso's Chicken is not actually Chinese food, but it has become a staple across this nation for Mom and Pop Chinese Restaurants. I would've given you two stars because the rice (despite how little of it there was) and the wontons were actually good, but I give you one star because you don't have the ONE item that would (almost) guarantee your continued business from me.

Yelp
Up until the day I walked into this restaurant China Garden had served me the worst General Tso's Chicken I had ever eaten. Hong Kong Express calls it "Honey Chicken" and it was almost inedible. The frozen stuff from the supermarket was MUCH better than this. The chicken was tough and the tenders were 75% breading. Just plain horrible. That said, they got two stars, because my wife said the vegetable fried rice was very good. They should stick to that.
