A newer east‑side counter spot offering Cantonese, Hunan, and Szechuan standards with large portions and sharp lunch deals. Friendly, family‑style service keeps it in rotation for quick meals on the go.

July 2024. Went for lunch. Delicious food. Got the lunch special General Tso’s chicken. Plenty large portion for lunch, comes with fried rice and two AMAZING crab Rangoon’s. The total including tax was a very fair $8.22. Not much to look at, but who cares if the food is great and price is good! Will definitely go back and try more items. Service was quick and friendly.

Clean, friendly, amazing food, me and the wifes new date night spot for chinese food. We will most definitely be regulars. Absolutely in love with the ragoons!

I placed my to-go order over the phone. The person working the counter was easy to understand and pleasant on the phone. When I picked up my food they made sure to provide sauces and utensils without request and the food was cleanly prepared, using cardboard cutouts to keep the containers stable, it was considerate and there was no sauce or food spilling over the edges. They had a fantastic drink selection not your normal everyday coke products. I got a blackberry Canada dry ginger ale. The portions were more than enough, the prices incredibly fair. The crab Rangoon had crab meat in them and were fresh and fried perfectly. Their steamed dumplings were obviously freshly made and hands down the best I've ever had. The sesame chicken was cooked perfectly, no crunchy lumps of batter all chicken and not drenched in sauce. I was impressed by both the taste and hospitality and will be back to try something new as soon as I can.

I'd say a 4.5 experience. I ordered the house Lo Mein, which was served quickly. The customer service was really good. The crab ragoon was really good. Then the Lo Mein was great as well.

The best egg roll I've ever had, some of the best sesame chicken. Quite large portions. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.

My fiancé and I tried Hong Kong Express for the first time last night and it was SO good! He got the sweet and sour chicken combo, and I got the beef lo mein and crab Rangoon. You get a huge portion for what you pay, and the flavors were amazing. We’re so excited to have a great Asian food place a couple of blocks from our house.

Although the service was excellent, the food was not good. Hold on, the crab Rangoon was tasty, the chicken chow mein was awful. There was red and green peppers, pea pods, and carrots in it, which I don't believe belongs in chow mein, and the sauce was not good. I'm judging by the chow mein I have gotten from MING'S (RIP) and China Inn, both delish. If you are a chow mein snob, like myself, don't bother.

Yelp
Food is fresh and service is great. Sparse furnishings so not a lot of ambiance but most customers get to go. Clean facility.
