The service was nice, and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere had low lighting which I wish was brighter. On the whole, the food was good for a fast food Chinese style restaurant. I enjoyed their eggplant in spicy sauce, their spicy dry green beans, their egg friend rice, and their vegetable tempura. The tempura came with an apple sauce for dipping which was unique yet delicious. The fact that this place is open late is really nice. I recommend if someone wants an affordable meal that will fill you and make you feel warm on a cold day.

the bartender was extremely rude — yelled at us and then kept glaring at us throughout the night for just touching a chair so our friend could sit. later in the night we saw other people moving chairs with no issue from the bartender. otherwise the karaoke is fun enough but definitely be prepared to wait a while.

I've always considered Hong Kong to be a true Landmark in Cambridge. For years this restaurant has consistently provided so many desirable & delicious food options at reasonable prices. Plus their upstairs has such a great atmosphere! I've thoroughly enjoyed going there for years, and it will always hold a special place as I even met my better half there over a decade ago. With the bartender serving up Scorpion Bowls & smiles combined with the top notch karaoke, you can't help but enjoy yourself as you sing and dance the night away. I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Came here with my sisters to eat recently. We've been coming in since we were kids and it's still delicious and affordable for a group. The food came out super quickly and there was little wait in-between different dishes. The servers do come up to you quite often if it takes you a little while to decide what to order, but I assume it's a customer service thing or how they are told to serve. I'm just indecisive sorryy 😭 Great place though! Thanks for being around this long, I stop here when I'm in Cambridge and have the money. Weirdly enough a piece of consistency in my life.

If I could give Hong Kong 15 stars I would. For the price, you consistently get a huge portion of food and the staff have always been pleasant to us. We usually get takeout, and with the dinner portion there is usually enough for 2 or 3 meals. We are fans for life!!!

Went in to pick up a to go plate but we were instructed to sit down before we could say anything. Told the waitress we were just ordering a to-go dinner and she took the waters she had placed on the table and said we needed to get up and go order and wait by the door. “Next time you say that when you come in, let’s go. You order at the door.” While we understood, it’s quite disrespectful in the tone she said it considering we were already sitting down & had a baby settled.

This place has great tasting food and it is traditional American Chinese food! They make the food cooked to order and the food has plenty of flavor. The staff was fantastic from the minute we walked in and the portion sizes are huge. Highly recommended if you looking for Chinese in Boston!
