Hong Kong Restaurant (Harvard Square)

The service was nice, and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere had low lighting which I wish was brighter. On the whole, the food was good for a fast food Chinese style restaurant. I enjoyed their eggplant in spicy sauce, their spicy dry green beans, their egg friend rice, and their vegetable tempura. The tempura came with an apple sauce for dipping which was unique yet delicious. The fact that this place is open late is really nice. I recommend if someone wants an affordable meal that will fill you and make you feel warm on a cold day.

Great place to come and grab something to eat in Harvard Square restaurant on the first floor Lounge on the 2nd and Nightclub in dancing on the 3rd floor...

This place has great tasting food and it is traditional American Chinese food! They make the food cooked to order and the food has plenty of flavor. The staff was fantastic from the minute we walked in and the portion sizes are huge. Highly recommended if you looking for Chinese in Boston!

Nice place to eat the lunch was great , the staff and the waitress was super friendly and she multitasked and got everyone order after the other . Must go you won’t regret it and the lunch prices before 3pm was great

Review for upstairs bar lounge only. The drinks are kind of pricey but the bowls are nice to share with friends. The karaoke is fun but the songs are very very old and often don’t have music so you’ll really hear the singers’ voices. To access the lounge you need to go up stairs.

Even as a Canadian I've been going to this place for years whenever I'm in town. The food is delicious, best General Tsao chicken in town IMHO. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating as well 🙏🏾. If you're looking for good Chinese food and your around the area, I'd highly recommend that you check this place out.

I am so pained to say that I was disappointed by the quality of food at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, however that is where my immense satisfaction ended. I tried the Kung Pao chicken for the first time and I was taken aback about how bland the taste was. It was certainly spicy, but other than that it had no flavor. The same was true for the rice even after trying to add soy sauce. I ate here tonight because I was craving chinese food, however, I am pained to say that this restaurant did not scratch that itch. The sesame chicken is usually good though!

The place was just ok. Many drinks/ cocktails weren’t available, so we had to change our choice many times. The scorpion bowl was special and it was a fun experience to share the drink. It was a karaoke night and it wasn’t that successful, it would be better to have a DJ playing music
