Hồng Phát Market

Visited this place for the first time, just passing by. Tried out this coffee I've never seen before and it's my new favorite. They have a decent selection of pastry, sweets and Ramen here. Almost a little bit of everything. I was left wishing there was more after walking around the whole store lol Great prices in produce, and a variety as well for their meat department.

It is the second location of the Hong Phat chain. I found almost any Asian ingredients for my meals and the staff was very kind and friendly. The market is sanitized frequently and quite clean. Would love to be back when I am in the area

It still doesn't hold a candle to either of the Hong Phat superstores on 82nd, but having this little satellite store basically in my own backyard has come to be a blessing over the past few years. The vegetables and produce are cheaper, and higher quality, than most of the larger grocery stores, and having a decent selection of Asian staples, from noodles to sauces, has been a lifesaver, on more than one occasion. Inventory can be a little inconsistent, with certain items that were once stocked disappearing, sometimes never to return. With two massive supermarkets only a few miles away, this "little brother" location feels like a bit of an afterthought in the greater Hong Phat empire, relegated to housing overstock, and catering to only the most basic of needs, but for what it offers, there's really nothing else like it in Parkrose, and the same is true for almost all of NE Portland east of 82nd, other than Lily Market on Halsey.

Nice little market. Had a decent variety of items. Was able to get my Thai curry mx and coconut milk. Fresh produce as well as meats. They also had dry goods (non-food) stuff. The staff seemed friendly. Although the first person I asked couldn't help me, he was able to find someone else who took me directly to what I was looking for. Would definitely go back.

So many exotic foods at very affordable prices. I found Tom Yum, bok choy and dragon fruit! It's so easy to make fresh and healthy food while shopping here. The staff are always very friendly.

Very personable customer service. Questions were answered without feeling out of place for asking.

There are several of these in Portland but I enjoy this location because it has everything you need and at good prices.

Its the inside that matters so, I'm giving 4 stars. Even though it looks like a rundown store the selections and prices are great.
