The 14 Best Restaurants In Yountville - Yountville - The Infatuation

"Only in Yountville can you stop to gas up and find a boutique wine and gift shop, coffee bar, and magazine stand to pass the time while you pump. In addition to an excellent selection of wines by the bottle (start with the staff picks), the reason we return here regularly is the soft serve affogato, and the juicy hot dog served on a doughy poppy seed bun. There are only two small tables inside, so this is definitely a grab-and-go kind of place." - christina julian, jasmine alexandra

Where To Eat & Drink On Your Napa Road Trip - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Soft serve and hot dogs are an elite combination - and this fancy gas station in Yountville always nails it. Power up with an excellent affogato and a hot dog on a soft poppy seed roll before or after a wine tasting. The convenience store has a few outdoor tables, and also sells bottles of wine, and other drinks and snacks that are ideal for taking home (or giving as gifts)." - julia chen 1

This place is AMAZING! Thank you so much Nicole and your wonderful Team for your excellent service! The coffee is so delicious and also the cookies and the scones from R and D kitchen. It’s a little market and you will find everything you need … water, wines, beer, cookies, chocolates ,etc… I also take my gas here! Do not miss this place A GEam 🙏❤️

Google
Our friends suggested having lunch at the gas station, and initially, we were hesitant. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious hot dogs they served. Additionally, they had a great variety of wines to choose from. We definitely plan on visiting this place again during our next trip.

Google
Honor Market is a hidden gem! Who would have thought you could grab a bite and enjoy a little picnic right by a fuel pump? The atmosphere is surprisingly charming. The staff at Honor Market is awesome—they're friendly, approachable, and really know their stuff. They helped us pick out the perfect red wine, Lunar Ridge. It's a great choice if you're into reds. What's cool is they knew the story behind the wine label—apparently, the owner's daughters designed it, featuring the view from their deck on a moonlit Napa Valley night. They've got some tasty food options for a quick bite, and a nice selection of other wines too. Whether you're looking to relax with some friends or just enjoy a good glass of wine, Honor Market is definitely worth checking out. I'll definitely be back!

Google
The Hot Dog at Honor Market in Yountville. Reputed to be the best in the Valley. It's pretty good. Comes loaded with sauerkraut, relish, and mustard. I have to say, I "relished" each bite.

Google
Exactly what I needed to get the day started! Great coffee and pastries + very nice person working the counter. I will definitely be back!

Google
Great hot dogs! Wine and beer, a few other items for sale. Delicious cookies.

Google
I missed the sign for the world famous hotdogs on our last trip so had to stop by just for the hotdogs. Well worth it!

Google
I finally made it to this little market, famous for their scones, hot dogs and wine. When checking out they offered me a sample of a new house specialty: a buttery chewy oatmeal cookie. I am quite particular about cookies that are too sugary and not buttery. This cookie is perfection. Do stop by! (Worth the sunny smiles and service too!)

Yelp
Great selections, best hot dogs in the valley and a wonderful warm staff. Cheers Greg

Yelp
This place is a real asset to locals for the coffee, scones, and hot dogs. For valley visitors, the same products are great to have access to, but also this is a GREAT place for wine country souvenirs. From wines to glasses to books and some leather goods too in the case. It is a gas station too, please DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE PUMPS IF NOT GETTING GAS.

Yelp
Who? Who would have said this gas station market would be this good? I walked in and was kindly greeted. I looked around to see if they had my favorite Pinot Noir. I then decided to get what I came for, The Hot Dog. As described in other reviews, the soft bread/bun and the quality of the dog make it a winner. I will be back. Even after eating at those other places next door and around the corner.

Yelp
Honor Market is a cute little coffee and wine shop in Yountville. It's the perfect stop for a pastry and a little caffeine boost before your wine country adventuring for the day. I got the lavender chai latte, which was tasty and not too sweet or syrupy. It's also a great place to pick up a bottle of wine for dinner (no corkage fee on certain bottles if you take them to R&D). Bonus tip... did you know that you can consume wine at any of Yountville's public parks--if you're of age, that is! That means you can choose a bottle of wine here and take it to enjoy on the grass at one of Yountville's several scenic parks.

Yelp
If you are looking for a quick bite in Napa this place is a hidden gem. The hot dogs that they sell here are the best and simply put, it is because of the quality. The sesame buns are always fluffy and warm and the hot dog itself you can tell is far above the quality of an average hot dog. I asked several locals what their go-to spot was for a quick bite and they all recommended this place so if you're even slightly hungry I'd highly recommend you drop by and give this place a try.

Yelp
Stopped by for a tea but ended up with a matcha latte over ice! What a sweet treat that they serve this, I didn't know any Yountville places had matcha. The matcha was good - my only usual Matcha complaint is the Califia farms almond milk, but oh well. They have a decent selection available of goodies to pick from. I will come by to try their new affogato next time I'm in town. I would give this cute little place 5/5 stars, but while I was sitting there enjoying my matcha, I overheard the girl barista saying some quite mean comments about one of the guests outside saying it was "sad that this guy comes in all the time." I was thinking of making this cute little spot a new habitual place to stop by at, but not if the staff is going to judge you for finding joy in coming to a cute gas station cafe......

Yelp
I come here a lot which is unfortunate that I'm leaving a 3 star review, the customer service here is hit or miss. Sometimes great sometimes not. They should really work on being consistent.

Yelp
Came to enjoy an iced coffee after our regular bike ride on the vine trail. We usually frequent Mini Model down the way (grab an English muffin and their house made jam!) Young lady at the front desk was flat with our little group of sweaty mamas. She seemed impatient and annoyed. Once we were done with our orders and the two white women behind us were up, young lady was all smiles, pleases and thank you's. We got none of that. For reference, we are all women of color. Not coming back.

Yelp
This is not your typical gas station. I've only been here 2x to get coffee as it was recommended by more than one person to me. They have good service, yummy coffee (limited flavors tho). They even have gourmet hot dogs which I've heard are great! This is the fanciest gas station ever. They sell gourmet goods, Comparté chocolate bars, wines, fresh scones, & more. Coffee flavors are limited to: dos leches, vanilla, mocha (they use Ghiradelli chocolate) I really enjoyed my iced mocha & iced vanilla latte ( both with oat milk). At the time of this post, their card machine does not allow for tip, so bring cash! There's limited seating inside, and only 2 parking spots immediately to the right of the building but plenty of parking in the main lot servicing the adjacent buildings.

Yelp
We truly enjoyed our Affogato's from Honor Market. I wish I knew the name of the sweet young lady that helped us....thanks for taking our pictures to make fun memories last!!

Yelp
Quality beef and nostalgia. When traveling to Napa a few days ago my friends and I wanted to grab a bite, something small so we didn't spoil our appetite before dinner and baaby this HIT THE SPOT. When my friend said we were going to a gas station for snacks and hot dog, I immediately looked at her crazy, but I should have known better. My foodie friend would never steer me wrong, this ain't nobody's Speedway! And Wawa where? This dog smoked the pants off the competition, and this isn't in comparison to gas station food - this is hot dogs everywhere. The gentleman manning the gas station was friendly and made our dogs with love. I lived for the soft poppyseed bun, so soft and buttery and the hot dog itself. So juicy, great texture and flavor, it didn't need anything but if you like to dress yours up go for it! The onions, mustard and ketchup I put on mine took me to my happy place, which was right on time because we walked right over to Stewart Cellars across the street. I will be stopping here as soooon as I return to Napa, if you're in the area - don't miss out. Bon apetit!

Yelp
WOW! Great spot for a quick stop. Grab some Coffee or a drink. Make sure to grab a hotdog. You can enjoy both in the small seating area or take to go. One of the best values in Yountville. Staff are professional and courteous. Yes this a destination stop.

Yelp
One of my regular stops in Yountville. Today I was craving Ice cream and needed a little pick me up ' I felt like I was covering two vices at once Lol ! I had a double Shot of Expresso in a cup of their delicious vanilla Ice cream wow! I'm a wide awake decadent foodie hehehe!

Yelp
Best scone ever made! Outdoor seating and relaxing ! Best morning hang out for me and hubby before morning walks on trail

Yelp
I stumbled upon this place during a trip to Napa. I wanted to check out their wine and beer selection, as I was visiting from SoCal and wanted to take something back home. As I was perusing their wines and beer, I could feel that I was being followed. So, I started to pay attention only to find that one of the employees kept following me through every aisle I walked through. Every time I turned around, he would pretend to be stocking the shelves. To confirm that he was following me, I went through the same aisles multiple times and sure enough, he would be "stocking" the shelves right behind me every time I turned around. I don't know if it's a race thing or not, but it definitely does not bode well that I was the only brown man there and I'm the only person getting followed.

Sofia V.

Yelp
Barista drinks are good.. but the service isn't. The employees were passive aggressive and when they left my drink on the counter for me, they all went into the back.

Yelp
Cool place to grab a drink and hotdog, but to not offer ketchup.... For a hotdog?! That's like pancakes with no syrup, anyone else find this weird?! So I brought my own ketchup.

Jared L.

Yelp
Hotdogs from Kelly's are a delightful indulgence after a day of wine tasting. The savory blend of flavors in their hotdogs is unparalleled, making it the perfect treat to complement the day's exquisite wine experiences. The juiciness of the dog and the quality of the toppings create a memorable culinary experience that lingers on the palate. Kelly's hotdogs are, without a doubt, the best way to conclude a day filled with wine and flavor exploration.

Yelp
Kelly's Filling Station is a neat and novel rest stop within Yountville and is in my opinion a great stop for awesome wines and the best hot dogs. We had to fill our car with air and decided to see all the hype of the small town. We were blown away with what this little shop offered from craft beers and great wine and all the rustic vibes that Yountville offered. We highly recommend the hot dogs as it was definitely not like any gas station hot dogs you'll ever try.
google avatar

Yelp
There is not a lot of hyper affordable options in Yountville, but coming here for a hotdogs is one of them. $8 for a chicago dog. They use hebrew national and the buns are fresh baked everyday at R+D kitchen. Brought adopted family here, and my nephew Jett hopped on the piano and played. Really relaxed vibe. Come here

Yelp
This place reminds me of the gas station from Autopia or a little gas station you see in rural America. So quaint and convenient for the locals, from getting some gas to snacks and drinks. I come by here when I'm in town or passing by when cycling through Napa Valley. Grab me a bottle of wine and or beer and enjoy it right there next to world class restaurants that line up Yountville's dining experience. The staff is always nice and helping whether you need gas or a choice of wine. Great selections from food to beverage to knick knacks here and there. If you're in town make time to come fill up your gas tank and grab some snacks for your epic day in Napa Valley.

Yelp
This little pitstop has ice cream, coffee, wine, and now hot dogs, which mix kind of four food groups

Yelp
i love kelly's. a must stop for coffee, wine or a quick bite! as a local, we usually stop by for a hot dog on long car rides up valley. however, it seems they're trying to make a hot dog out of all things too frou-frou by not offering guests ketchup anymore. i mean really.. making parents walk to r+d for a side of ketchup so our kids can actually enjoy their meal is ridiculous. if it ain't broke don't fix it. cmon hillstone do better.

Yelp
I've been here twice already and the first time hubs asked me if I wanted a gas station hot dog thinking it'll prolly taste just that, a small tiny gas station hot dog but I was a little hungry so I took a small bite of my sons. My mouth burst with flavor of the damn hot dog but what got me was the poppy seed bun it was put on. It was fresh and the best bun my mouth has ever bit into. I kid you not. And all my son had on it was ketchup at the time but yikes!!!!! That ketchup was even amazing. This was with out a doubt the best freakin' hot dog ever. The second time we went, I had to have this hot dog.....totally worth every penny. I got mine with ketchup, relish, and onions. I hardly finish my food because I'm just a little itty bitty thing but I couldn't put it down. We got wine to boot and it complemented every morsel. We have our go to spot when we bring our son to the park now.

Yelp
This review is strictly for the AMAZING hot dogs they offer inside of the shop and the ambience of the establishment. We got gas after some wine tasting and were told by a family member to try their hot dogs and that we would not be disappointed. Sure enough! We were not disappointed. As soon as you walk in, it looks like there is also a deli and a small selection of various wines (maybe 30-50 bottles in total of various brands). We ordered hot dogs and you are able to dress it up or dress it down and make it a meal. I got all the works on mine and was not disappointed. This included relish, onions, sauerkraut, ketchup, and mustard. You will also get a side of chips and a drink. Everything was divine. The hot dog was nice and juicy. The poppy seed bun was perfectly toasted and complimented the hot dog very well. All the additional toppings went great with it. If you are ever in the area and need gas, I suggest stopping here and grabbing yourself a bite to eat! I hope to come back here again and try more wonderful things on their menu.
google avatar

Wendy C.

Yelp
A must for a drive by pickup memorable hot dog. What makes it special are the buns! Take a look. Yes we will be back!

Imma H.

Yelp
If you are looking for a quick snack in Napa, you have to try Kelly's hot dogs and soft serve ice cream! Very limited menu here so I'm thinking it would be a great stop for bikers or if you need a quick food fix without the lines. We enjoyed the "everything" dog - ketchup, mustard, onions, relish, sauerkraut and banana peppers served on a soft poppy seed bun. Parking is limited so I would suggest street parking or park at R + D and walk over (the restaurants are affiliated).
google avatar

Tony V.

Yelp
So only two pumps being used as parking spaces. Wonderful, can't get gas here. Terrible place
google avatar

Joshua E.

Yelp
One of the few places to fill up in this part of the valley, decent gas prices with a premium for obvious reasons. Small little coffee bar inside with some quick lunch bites like hot dogs etc. Very cute little filling station
google avatar

Yan X.

Yelp
THE most fancy gas station you can find. Great coffee and a nice variety of wines and things that go well with wine.
google avatar

Tom S.

Yelp
Super cool converted gas station (Gas pumps still in use for a top off). I was looking for a quick bite to eat without going to a restaurant. Great surprise to discover Kelly's. Picnic snack goodies, coffee bar, ice cream (Affogato!!), wine and really delicious hot dogs (I ordered 2). Super friendly staff and very helpful. A real fun find.
google avatar

Janet C.

Yelp
I returned for the Dos Leches and boy is it delicious! I also splurged and went in for a hot dog.. my goodness was that a mistake. I am hooked! The bun is so soft and the hot dog itself is so juicy. Very good sized hotdog and how beautifully did she apply that ketchup? Lol First time: Stopped by for some coffee for the first time. Service was good, the Iced Coco Latte not so great. It's great if you love coconut water but not if you're expecting more of a coffee or creamy taste. Will be back to try the Dos Leches.
google avatar

Karah G.

Yelp
This place was cool for the hotdogs, but not after the crappy service I had on Wednesday during my one-and-only lunch break for that day. Thats the 30 minutes in the day where I'm not suppose to deal with BS, but that's all ruby/rosy (whatever the heck her name is) was giving out. Local and work in the area so I send many people here, I'm a little embarrassed because realizing how many people I've sent and they have probably had bad service! No more recommendations from me "Gourmet" hot dogs, yeah right
google avatar

Luca T.

Yelp
Such a cute spot. If you're staying at the Napa Valley Lodge do yourself a favor and walk across the street to get a hot dog for lunch one day. You may be asking yourself: are you really recommending I eat a gas station hot dog? Yes, yes I am. But it's not just any gas station hot dog - this is a fantastic hot dog on a delicious poppy-seed coated bun. Plus the atmosphere of the place is superb. Like being transported back in time.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this gas station! You can pick up scones, a famous kellys hot dog, cookies, magazines, gifts, wine bottles, ice cream etc! Amazing
google avatar

Yelp
Nice, clean place to get gas (also one of the only places between Napa and St Helena) and they also sell wine and snacks!
google avatar

Annie P.

Yelp
Super darn cute, has that idyllic patriotic American feel going on. Adorable! Small, quaint, and just plain adorable.
google avatar

Yelp
Part of the Hillstone Company Family. But a cute little store selling gourmet wines and snacks. Same block as R&D Kitchen. Great things to browse and buy!

Col. Doug B.

Yelp
Im 4th generation Napa & have lived in Yountville for nearly 8 years..but never stopped for the famous hotdog, until this week. I can attest its a fabulous hotdog with toppings of your choice, a bun that is literally built for this (you'll immediately think back to all the soggy drippy buns sinve age 4..Spectacular & would advise to try one.

Yelp
It is 1:30pm in the afternoon. I just finished my cycling workout along the the vineyards of Yountville and I was craving for some fresh coffee-cappuccino to be exact. The barista, who also made my cap, did not disappoint. She was incredibly amazing, in addition, to her barista-skills.

Judy B.

Yelp
Delicious scones and excellent coffee! Very friendly staff! When finished eating you should take time to stroll around the shop.
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
Best hotdog in the valley! Hands down. Quality topping, tasty bun, and loads of fresh toppings!

Yelp
Best gas station coffee I've ever had. It's nice to know I can get a great coffee outside of SF. I love this place.

Yelp
Super cute spot in Yountville for a fill with a little extra kick! They have a lovely little shop with wines, snacks, sodas and beer! And a gas filling station. Only in Yountville do they do things this well! Love it here

Yelp
Just love the throwback atmosphere here. $5 hotdogs with all the fixings. Scones are amazing. Yummy all around.

Yelp
***Gas stations can be hard to find in some of the smaller towns of Napa Valley (like Yountville) so this small gas station is a welcome sight; they also carry a wide variety of gourmet and unique items that make for good snacks or nice gifts*** The last time I was in Yountville, this gas station was closed. It is open again (maybe under new management) and it features a couple of gasoline pumps (the gas seemed reasonably priced compared with nearby competitors) and a unique store, which carried everything from gourmet candies and wine to yo-yos and uniquely flavored beef jerky. This is not your typical gas station food mart. The store had a great small town general store-like feel to it. It was also a fun store to kill time because they had a wide variety of unique stuff. In addition to the hard to find stuff, they did carry some more well known brands like the chocolate boutique Vosges. But even with Vosges, they carried several candy bar varieties I haven't seen at other stores like Bristol Farms, Whole Foods and Cost Plus World Market. I picked up a few bags of chocolate treats from Marich--a Californian chocolate company. The little bags of chocolates were just above $2 and they made for nice gifts. The white chocolate, coconut and curry covered cashews were good. The roasted cashews were fresh, flavorful and crunchy. And though I am not a big fan of white chocolate, the coating had good flavors of coconut and curry. It was also quite melt-in-your-mouth creamy. I thought the Marich offering was a decent price (considering that it was from a somewhat local company and high-end). That being said, some of the other items were slightly overpriced. Service was very good as the cashier was friendly, polite and welcoming. Kelly's Fuel and Provisions is one to consider checking out if you are looking to try a high-end gas station / food mart. It definitely has its charms and it makes for a nice stop to pick up some small gifts (I will probably also stop by to fill up my tank on my next Napa Valley trip instead of just giving my money to a Chevron). I did not check out the parking situation, but I think they might have a private lot. It is also easy to find free street parking in the nearby area.
google avatar

Dawn W.

Yelp
The very, very best granola. So thick, with full cashews and giant raisins, it looks like cookies in the bag. We were upset they sold out yesterday, so we settled on a scene. OMG, the best. Crunchy on top, very fluffy inside full of raisins and pecans. Buy them when you see them.
google avatar

Courtney S.

Yelp
Came in here for coffee....SOOO GLAD WE DID! Man - it is GOOD and it is CHEAP! I was so happy to have quality coffee that tasted good and DIDN'T cost me a ton of money. I got a latte of some kind (I forget, but it was the barista's favorite), the guy got one of their specials (the dulce de leche) and it was AH-MAZ-ING!, and my uncle got the regular coffee. I have to say, I'm very particular about getting regular coffee at places because so often it is burnt, but not theirs! It was still flavorful and delicious. The guy got a parfait and it was good too. I loved that it came in a little canning jar. I also loved the atmosphere. They have beer, wine, small snackies, and wine paraphernalia you can pick up there also. The prices didn't seem to be too inflated, and they carried some good bottles. I'll be back!
google avatar

Akiko I.

Yelp
Tiny little gas station right behind R+D kitchen, which carries really nice gift items and has really good coffee! They even had a nice piano which our kids really enjoyed playing. You don't really expect that kind of thing by just looking from outside as a gas station. They claim to have the best handmade hotdogs!
