Boston’s Saddest Restaurant Closures in 2024 | Eater Boston

"Erika Adams, Eater Boston editor, wrote, "It sucked to see the ambitious cocktail bar close so soon after it opened, which I imagine had a lot to do with its out-of-the-way location in Hood Park. There were some great ideas happening in there and it’s a bummer that it didn’t have more time to build a following." Her comment captures the frustration around an inventive cocktail program that couldn’t overcome its challenging location before it had a chance to fully establish itself." - Erika Adams

As an employee at a company that is housed.at the 500 building, I sometimes park in this garage due to weather or to charge my EV Rivian. The garage is nice but the security guard is out of control. I often take lunch breaks in my car as I have a stressful job and like to get out of the office for an hour. Today as I sat in my car, I have tinted windows mind you, he walks up to my car and starts looking into my car right into the driver side window almost with his face on the glass. He got out of a normal sedan, no markings. Couldn’t even tell he was security until after I confronted him. I was parked in a normal valid space, no need to be looking at my car or INTO IT. I open the window and ask him what the deal was. and he keeps asking me if “I’m good”. It was super creepy and borderline suspicious. I’m actually happy I was in my car when this happened. I am not sure if this is how management trains security but to me, it’s seems at best creepy and at worst suspicious.
