This place is beautiful, well maintained, and a must-see when visiting Hood River. There are 360° views with trails throughout. When the wind surfers are out, it's a big bonus.
Definitely will be a regular stop for us.

Amazing location for a picnic! There’s ample parking spot. If you don’t find a spot near the park you can find a spot a block away at the commercial zone near the restaurants

Lots of breweries and small eating venues. Parking is a pain . Adding new lots but all make you pay. Parking at the " hook costs money as well. Its a nice place other than the smell from the sewer treatment plant to the west nd the Tofu factory in the middle. Just be prepared for lots of people. Especially on event weekends. Its a world renowned place for windsurfers.

My elementary-age daughter (and we) LOVE this park. Plenty of play equipment for youngsters, and beautiful waterfront stroll for all ages. Also, in warmer weather, great spot for a picnic!
