I didn't even know this place existed until I saw they're catering truck(which I didn't know it was the catering truck at the time) pass me. So, I looked it up and decided to go try it. Definitely wished I had found this place sooner. They have everything from Pizza to home-cooked meals. We tried the pizza and it was delicious. The crust wasn't too doughy and they didn't overdo it with the tomato sauce. Will definitely be back!

Bonus points for coming to my neighborhood and being an awesome firetruck. Major kid appeal!! I waited about 30 minutes for my pizza since there were multiple people in front of me that ordered several pizzas. The actual pizza baking time was surprisingly quick! I did enjoy the music they played while we waited. At $30 for two 12 inch pizzas, I thought it was a little high but I splurged this time for the convenience factor. The pizza itself was just okay. I ordered the jabroni and the Supreme with jalapeños and garlic butter on both. The garlic butter was somehow not noticeable on either pizza. If you want to really taste it maybe you have to say you want a lot of garlic butter? The sauce and toppings were both good, but there is some room for improvement on the crust. It needs more flavor and less flour taste. They used a lot of flour on the bottom to prevent sticking so once you've finished the toppings, the crust is bland and flour-y. Overall, I'd give the pizza a 3.5 and I'm giving a total of 4 stars for the coolness factor of a pizza fire truck that came to my neighborhood.

BOOK FOR YOUR EVENT! I booked for my 10 year high school reunion and people RAVED about how good the pizza was. Event coordinating was effortless with them. Lynn was so understanding, easy to communicate with, and worked with us to fit our needs for our event. The two men working our event were professional and personable. The fire truck is different and fun - kids LOVED looking at the truck, and the adults LOVED the pizza! I have nothing but good things to say about Hook and Ladder! Would book them again in the future!

Amazing! We had the pizza truck at our wedding rehearsal dinner and it was a hit! Everyone loved it and the pizza is delicious. We ate leftovers from it all weekend! 10/10 recommend and plan to use them in the future!

We had this truck in Northlake today, loved the Veggie Pizza, reminded me of coal fired pizza, would recommend for anyone looking for a change, slightly pricy compared to be big box pizzas

I cannot express just how great hook and ladder is. I booked them for my wedding on 3/14/24 at Arrowwood weddings and events is it was amazing. The pizza was sooo good and the different options we had available to us for booking was amazing we even added salad which was great! Although everyone was very kind and the staff was great I wanna give a special shout out to the event coordinator Lynn. She was so amazing and communicative even on the day of the wedding when we had a chance of rain. If you have any debate on whether or not to book hook and ladder do it! I don’t think you’ll regret it! I sure didn’t!

Everything was fantastic! The pizza catering staff was so amazing and we absolutely had the coolest farewell with the fire engine horn honks. Thanks so much for making our special event extra fun. Hook and Ladder Pizza made our wedding the best ever!! We had so many compliments from our guests, I highly recommend for others looking to celebrate in a memorable way.

We hired Hook & Ladder for our wedding and everyone absolutely LOVED them. Several of our guests came up to us during our wedding to tell us how delicious the pizza was and how awesome the firetruck was! We even watched several of our guests go back for seconds and thirds. Thank you so much for everything you did to make our wedding day so special!

Yelp
Got to enjoy these awesome pizzas during the 4th July Festival!! I love the firetruck and marketing vibe relating to this pizza business! They were even making these fresh on location, even rolling out the dough in front of drooling customers! The lines were long and you could tell they were a favorite food item for the night! Definitely will try them on location too!

Yelp
THIS IS FOR THE FOOD TRUCK. They were at Dublin's Square Fort Worth, for St. Patrick's celebrations! They were there last year and probably some years before that. Last year they ran out of to-go boxes, so i wasn't able to try. (i attempted a much later order.) THIS year, i ordered shortly after arrival! #izbeesmart I ordered (2) 12" pizzas @ $16 each; meat lovers and one called Honey Spicev Flake (or similar name) with added sausage. I REALLY liked that Honey one!! I thought I was going to be starving later on; I only needed 1 pizza. The pizzas in Dallas are generally 14" or larger, for reference. Super thin crust was great and toppings were premium! Unfortunately, i didn't enjoy it on-site, as i was working, but got them both home and devoured them like a little kid eating their birthday cake... No mercy!! "...What??! Those other kids can find their own cake! Bring more ice cream. Why are they all crying?" This listing says they're located in Keller, so perhaps one day I'll trek way over there and enjoy on their premises. Funny note: i ordered my pizzas at different times, and randomly, while waiting, both times, one of their prep tables collapsed! (where they sliced and put in boxes). The first time it happened, a friend of mine stepped in and helped, while i watched in bemusement..."why did the table collapse? No external force was applied. It wasn't windy. Was the table upset at the humans?" Second table collapse, i was ready! I jumped right in and helped. The table was angry AF (at food). I asked if the table was from IKEA, they laughed and replied: "No, it's actually from Sam's or Costco." Good times.

Yelp
For Easter weekend, our HOA threw a great party with laser light bubbles, glow in the dark egg hunt, and some food trucks. We decided to try the fire engine truck with the wood fire oven built into it. Was a good choice. They offer about four or five different pies for this special event setting. I think it cost about $15 for a 12" pizza. The young men working that night were definitely polite and respectful and I think that counts for a lot, especially at a social gathering. Crust pretty good and tomato sauce flavorful so no complaints there. I think the toppings could have been spread out a little more evenly. Mozzarella was pretty good. I'd say the cooking could have been a little more spot on this particular night, but again it was a festive event. With wood fire, I like the slight burn marks on the crust. I do like what some might call a slightly undercooked center, but with the wood fire, I feel like it's best to overcook the edges slightly. I did find out that they will come out to special events. The young man told me it was about $900 for a few hours and a certain number of pizzas. The HOA had a certain number of pies that were given out free but we were fashionably late so we missed out on the freebies. Idea is pretty cool, and my grandfather served as a fireman for 38 years so touched my heart a bit to see the fire truck. He would have probably been tickled to see the fire truck churning out pizzas.

Yelp
Now this is a pretty cool food truck! Wood fired pizza made out of an old fire truck. This truck was in a our neighborhood a week ago so me and the kiddo decided to try them out. He ordered the pepperoni and I ordered the veggie. They are made fresh to order and we had our pizzas in under 8 mins. The price was a little more steep that what I usually spend on a pizza that size, but the ingredients were fresh, the employees were friendly, and the food was hot. They did turn out a little "soft" and floppy, but I'm not sure if that's how those types of pizzas usually are. I saw a review mention they asked for their well done, so I will do that next time.

Yelp
The pizza was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. If I come across this truck again, I'll definitely stop for a pizza or two.

Yelp
These guys did a great job on making the pizza and friendly service. The truck is a converted fire truck which the kids really enjoyed.

Yelp
Had this at my friends wedding and it was delicious. The staff was super friendly. The pizza was fresh, hot, and the crust was thin and crispy. The crust was perfection. Considering how many people were at the wedding they were very fast an accommodating. This was perfect for the wedding because a groom is a firefighter at first we thought it was one of their trucks from the station and surprise food truck with its own oven inside!

Yelp
Great Pizza. We tried them for the first time at the Coppell July 4th firework event. Out of all the food trucks, they were our favorite!

Samantha L.

Yelp
We booked the food truck for our wedding and it was perfect! I got responses quickly from the event manager and was kept up to date with plans incase of rain. They knew our venue well, so they needed little to no assistance with set up. They were also such a fun group to be around. They were all so kind to us and our guest !! Our guests could not stop talking about how great the food was and how cool the truck was :)

Yelp
Best pizza and friendly staff. Great for parties too. Especially with Covid you and no one else is cooking just order and let them do the work.

Yelp
Let me set up the scene: I arrive at my Company's Annual Picnic around 9:30AM and think, "Why is there a firetruck parked outside the park? Was there a fire that was just put out, or a cat stuck in a tree?" NOPE. I come to find out via our office's Administrative Assistant a hour later that the firetruck is actually Hook and Ladder Pizza Company, AND that we're getting pizza for lunch! Thinking this was a company picnic, I would think this place would be subpar, but man, I was blown away. The staff kept on making more and more pizza for us hungry telecom employees. The varieties I got to try from the staff were all amazing. My favorite definitely had to be the Pulled Pork specialty. It was an amazing and balanced blend of flavors with probably one of the best crusts I've had in the DFW area. I must have eaten about 15+ slices. You can be sure that I didn't eat for the rest of the day HAHA. This place is a concept I haven't seen before. A foodtruck and firetruck pizzeria that serves pizza, salad, and beer (thought we didn't get beer from lunch). What a unique concept. Most of all, kudos to the staff for the neverending pizza.! Thank you!!

Yelp
We hosted an appreciation lunch at Firemans Paving Contractors and having Hook and Ladder Pizza serve on-site was a huge hit. They arrived on time, staff was friendly, set up was easy, pizza was delicious! We loved it so much I think we will make this our annual tradition. Many thanks to Chandler and team for making our event a huge success. Abundant blessings to you all!

Yelp
I ordered the simplest of simplest pizza. Pepperoni. They kept burning and throwing away pizzas. I waited too long and kept getting skipped over. The drunk guy taking orders put my order at the back of the list when he couldn't see it was written on the box. Finally I asked for a refund and they barely got that right. If I could give negative stars I would.

Yelp
We recently had this pizza at the Sunset Concert Series at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens. What a treat!!! The crust is so good? Ingredients were obviously fresh! Our whole family loved it!

Yelp
We have used Hooks & Ladders for 2 events now. The service was awesome, completely effortless for those of us managing the event and the pizza was delicious. It was very cold on the day of our event but the pizzas were all hot and fresh as they didn't cook too many too fast. It was basically all you can eat and before the guys left, they left us with anything that was leftover. No complaints whatsoever. Exceeded all expectations.

Yelp
Amazing pizza and the greatest staff! We had these guys and the fire truck at our son's high school graduation party. It was loved by all and the workers were so friendly. They put root beer on tap and the pizzas came out of the oven hot and delicious. We love hook and ladder pizza!!

Yelp
This is hands down the most fun truck in the DFW area! Firetruck, beer and pizza. What more could you want?? We had the truck at my sisters wedding- used it as the bar and then served pizza at the end of the night for "soakage" and it was AMAZING. And the owners- John and Ralph- some of the best people around. Love Hook and Ladder and can't wait to hire them again!!
