Hook Fish & Company

I couldn't recommend Hook Fish & Company enough. Captain Gary took me, my brother and our two boys out. Even though a cold front had just come through and the fishing weren't biting as well that day, he made sure that we came home with a nice haul and more than enough to feed both of our large families. We will definitely be going through them again. It really pays to have someone with experience who has the right equipment. We were able to just enjoy fishing and let we let Captain Gary sweat everything else.

Gary is the man! We caught so many fish and he was an amazing teacher. This is my first fishing experience and he definitely went above and beyond to make sure I learned how to fish. Cant beat this haul! Next time we’re staying at the lodge as well, make sure to check it out prior to booking your next fishing trip at Lake Buchanan!

Hook Fish & Company has an awesome lodge. The facility is first Class and Gary is a great host and Guide. This is my second trip with him and it was a great time. He is very knowledgeable of the Lake and the fish that he targets. I would recommend him as a Guide. I plan on going fishing with him again.

Best experience fishing! Caught 17 fish in 3 hours. The lines were constantly busy. very knowledgeable about the area and how to make sure you have an epic experience. Highly recommend. We will definitely go again!

Caught my FIRST FISH! Thank you to Gary and this amazing fishing experience. My boyfriend and I did this together and were guided throughout the whole process. Even got to filet the fish too! 10/10 experience and would definitely do it again but including the Airbnb package.

Captain Gary is one of the best captain. We caught tons of fish and everyone was so satisfied with captain Gary. We caught about 20 fish (Hybrid bass, Striped bass, fresh water drum, and cat fish). Definitely going back again with captain Gary. If you want to catch variety of fish and big striped bass go with captain Gary!!!

I got invited to a fishing trip with a friend, and I’m not exactly a pro fisherman, but I’m all for trying new things. The Hook Fish & Company totally changed my mind about the lake and the whole fishing thing. Captain Gary was a total expert. He had all the latest gadgets and tech on his boat. I told him I was a total beginner, but he didn’t mind. There were four of us on the boat, and he gave us all the rules. After that, it was just a blast. When I say he knew the lake, I mean he knew it inside out. Captain Gary had bait on and fish off like a pro. He was super professional and took great care of the environment. It was an incredible fishing experience, and I can’t wait to go again. Coop

Gary was great. He helped us all and accommodated my Dad (90 years old) in every way he could. We all caught fish and had a great time. Highly recommend.
