The 5 Best Restaurants In Beaver Creek, Colorado

"Beyond an excellent supply of river trout, Colorado isn’t much of a fish destination. That doesn’t really matter at Hooked, though, where they’re big on sourcing top-notch sushi-grade fish from Japan, California, New Zealand, Spain, and beyond. Start your dinner off with hiramasa sashimi with serranos, cilantro, and lime, along with some other appetizers like spicy dynamite shrimp nachos. The Hooked burger is also a must, with crispy tempura lobster, salty bacon, and rich béarnaise sauce. Pair it all with some sake or one of their tiki cocktails like an on-draft, barrel-aged Mai Tai. Our recent visit to Hooked Beaver Creek was a delightful experience that earned a solid 4 stars from us! We decided to mix things up with a variety of dishes, and the menu didn’t disappoint. We started with some sushi, which was a standout—fresh, expertly crafted, and bursting with flavor. The fish was clearly high-quality, and the presentation was simple yet elegant, making it a treat for both the palate and the eyes. Next up was the Lobster roll sandwich, a dish I’d been eager to try. It came loaded with tender, succulent lobster, lightly dressed and nestled in a perfectly toasted roll. While it didn’t completely blow me away, it was undeniably delicious and a great option for seafood lovers. We also ordered the chicken sandwich, which was a pleasant surprise. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, with a nice crispy exterior that added some texture to the experience. It wasn’t the star of the meal, but it held its own as a solid choice for anyone craving something hearty. The atmosphere at Hooked Beaver Creek was decent—casual and relaxed, though not particularly memorable. Service was okay; the staff were friendly enough, but there were moments where it felt a little slow or disjointed. Still, the food more than made up for it. Overall, this spot offers quality eats in a laid-back setting, and we’d happily return to dive deeper into their menu. Four stars well-deserved!

Holy tuna this place is good!! Everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere. Amazing job! Side note, the snapper is scary.

Google
The food was great but clearly overpriced as I’m guessing the rent is super high, the menu is very vast and has a range for everyone. Fondue of lobster and crab was good, sushi combo omakasi sashimi came on a bed of rice which was a shock. The service was not great and needs some training and direction from the manger. The staff were very friendly.

Google
Ingredients were fresh and there were a lot of interesting fusion dishes. Price point on the higher side, overall food was good but not great. Would have preferred it if the sushi rice was abit harder and less mushy, fish was seasoned well tho. Staff was really friendly!

Google
Everything was absolutely unbelievable. The service was excellent. The vibe was chill, and the food was beautifully presented and tasted phenomenal. We had a party of four. We had oysters, 3 sushi rolls, seared scallops, lobster roll, and clam chowder. We will be back before we leave Beaver Creek!

Google
We like the food well enough. The servers are always nice and helpful. The tall man whom I assume is the manager is always rude. We were there yesterday for lunch and asked for a table outside. There were five or six open four tops in the shade which the manager refused to push together for our party of six. We had to sit at one of the long wooden tables in the sun. This man has no people skills at all. Hooked has a fantastic location but it’s going to have even more empty tables if the manager continues to be so rude and thoughtless.

Google
We had the best meal at Hooked! They have been voted the best seafood restaurant in Colorado for four years and I understand why. They brought out a tray with four whole fish. The fish are flown in from Asia and Australia, never frozen. We picked a scorpion rock fish from Japan. The Chef then prepared the fish half raw (ceviche, sushi and sashimi) and half cooked. The whole meal was delicious and an unforgettable experience!

My sister and I took our mom for Mother’s Day and we enjoyed it so much. We made two other reservations almost back to back. The food is truly delicious and the service is exceptional.

Yelp
I travel extensively for fun mostly and although I've only eaten here twice, this time being my second time, this restaurant is absolutely in my top 10 or 15 places anywhere. Why? Person that seated me was friendly, the two fellows behind the bar, Nata and Samuel (see photo) were skillful, attentive, friendly, and engaging conversationists, particularly Samuel (in terms of conversation). I had a martini, slightly dirty, with some olives. Perfect. Thanks Nata! I then ordered the clam chowder and cioppino, I know, kind of odd to have two soup dishes in a single meal. Both were excellent choices. The clam chowder was full of clams and the cioppino had a gigantic scallop that was tasty, a nice little piece of lobster, two shrimp, some fish, a clam as well. All tasty! The broth was also delicious. Anyone that complains about the service must've been here on a bad day, because the service was absolutely fantastic. As well, anyone that complains about the prices needs to be dining somewhere other than Beaver Creek, an upscale resort. Prices for the quality of food, and great service, was not unreasonable at all for this resort area. Menu was extensive in terms of variety of seafood. Outdoor seating is available, but I sat at the bar, and I'm glad I did. I will remember Samuel for a long time -- a kind soul - and, both Nata and Samuel made a very good meal even better. Thanks guys! And, three cheers to the chef!

Yelp
I'd originally given Hooked a three star in 2021 during covid, when service was lackluster. Bumped it up to five stars a few years ago. Here we are in 2025 and I'm dropping it back to three. I visit Hooked 4+ times per ski season, including twice on my Christmas break trip with my family, and service is back to mediocre at best. I love the way the menu changes, and look forward to visiting here each ski season to see what's new, but when you have to basically badger your waiter just to get water glasses refilled, or they can't even make a hot chocolate because of equipment failures that don't get resolved across a week, it really takes away from what is typically an easy $150/pp establishment if you're having cocktails. I hope I'm updating this again later this year with better news (since I'll be back in February), but we'll see.

Yelp
absolutely AMAZING service!! we came in less than 30 minutes to close and were met with speedy service, polite and genuine conversation from bar and wait staff (especially Danny!!). such a beautiful experience with even better unique food that melts in your mouth. 10/10!!

Yelp
Next level sushi in Beaver Creek. As someone who has been coming to Becker Creek since before Hooked even existed, I cannot believe I waited until now to try it. Truly such a gem. Ambiance is super cool and trendy, service is great and food is even better. We got a variety of items off of the menu, but my absolute favorite was the fried rice and build your own fish. I chose the toothfish with the miso glaze. One word: UNREAL! Complete melt in your mouth umami. The fried rice was definitely dolled up with waygu. I loved their take on it. I'd live to come back when I come siiing again next year and do the sushi experience.

Yelp
Love coming here for sushi whenever we're in town! The service was great especially considering the large party we had. Really enjoyed the tiki vibe, fun cocktails, and being able to see all the fresh fish they prepare. Don't remember all the names of the rolls we got, but I do remember the steak topped one was definitely a must. The "nachos" were also delicious. Can't wait for ski season so we can come back and visit!

Yelp
$30+ for 8pcs/6pcs of sushi. Miso was $8+. Delicious sushi & miso soup! Our server was very professional and attentive. Forgot his name. The restaurant is small but decent. #honestreview

Yelp
Aww I used to LOVE hooked. Great food great vibes I have probably eaten here 20+ times. Today I was craving seafood so ordered the scallops to-go. Photo attached -- 3 scallops for $45.50? Called the restaurant and they tried to explain to me this was indeed correct that the scallop dish now comes with just 3 scallops... I've noticed the price increases over the past few years and haven't minded until now that portions have clearly shrunk. I truly struggle calling this a satisfactory meal for an adult human ... @ management -- fyi your website says this dish has 4 scallops for $33... one can dream ...

Yelp
Good kids meal! After you had $30 sad looking chicken fingers up at the top of the mountain, everything at the base all at a sudden felt so reasonable and economical! My kid had a cheese burger, and I felt like it's easily a half pounder with generous fries! The oysters are to die for! Good oysters! Good lunch. Good wine list! Would def starve my kid on the mountain so we can get lunch here at the end of our ski day!

Kim M.

Yelp
First time there. Came on a rec from friends. I had the burger which was very good. My husband had the scallops. Scallops were good but the vegetables that accompanied the meal were so salty neither one of us could eat them. Told the waiter who responded with "I hear that a lot I will tell the cook". No acknowledgement from the manager concerning our issue. Guess it was because we were visitors and we do not matter. It was also our anniversary which I indicated on the open table reservation.....nothing. Visitor not local. .

Yelp
Food is good. Hostess had a poor attitude... hate when people make it my problem they're working,.. like I have a job too.

Yelp
I want to start positive, the service was great and the ambiance is cozy. My favorite was the Glühwein $17 was a little steep though. We came for lunch and ordered a burger and poke bowl for adults and sushi for our son. The Poke bowl was tiny!! For $36?! I was still hungry after. My son enjoyed the sushi, but also was still hungry after so we ordered him a kids burger which sadly was hard as a brick and burned. My recommendation is stick to the sushi here. Just expect to dash a little of cash. We know beaver ($$$) but for what you get it's not reasonable.
google avatar

Larry D.

Yelp
Horrible management. Was told that they gave our table reservation to an upset party. Given option to sit at sushi bar or wait 1.5 hrs. Sushi bar cramped. Ruined entire evening. Manager said "i will take care of you" - that meant marginal service and a comp $9 dessert. Very poor experience compared to prior visit

Yelp
Made this our one exclusive dinner on vacation. We had seen people getting the whole fish and decided that's what we were going to do. We ordered the fish based upon the waiters recommendation. It was prepared sushi style, on a salt stone, with a macadamia nut topping. This is probably one of the most exclusive dinners we have ever had. It was very original. I would definitely make this a place to come back to you on another visit to Beaver Creek, Colorado.

Aria H.

Yelp
amazing food, great service, get the whole fish!! super fresh and the staff is lovely

James H.

Yelp
Beware! Hooked headed downhill!!! Ordered the fish by the pound as we do every year. Upsold to 'dry aged'. Chef wouldn't prepare sashimi as requested. Sashimi pieces were hacked to large portions and uninventive. Asked for no ceviche but was given 'tartar' instead. This is now 2/3 years of mediocrity for an institution that should return to its roots. Service was great though

Jackie H.

Yelp
Incredibly disappointed after eating here. We have been here a few times before and have raved about it to all of our friends. Even brought new friends here. We were looking forward to our visit on our vacation to beaver creek just to leave incredibly frustrated. We got plenty of drinks, appetizers, and rolls. Safe to say we spent a lot of money on our meal. The second we paid our bill, we were rudely interrupted by the manager telling us we have to leave. We were not aware or told of any time restriction on our table and the second we handed over the bill, they told us our time was up. Without giving us any 15 minute warning or any other option but to get up and leave. While the food was good, the rude incident by the manager at the end of the evening ruined it for us.

Yelp
Hooked used to be one of our favorite restaurants in the Bc/|Vail ski region. Unfortunately, even though we know the owner and returned every year, we were seated next to the toilet, badly treated several times, and all the joy of dining at Hooked was gone. Read other reviews and you too will see this downward trend which is the reason that we no longer want to waste our money or time there. So sad.

Elle G.

Yelp
This place was an experience! No other place like it. It's hard to explain because there are so many options. All I can say is if like fish and don't mind spending some cash, go for it!! Visit their website for menu options and prices.

Yelp
The Hooked burger was amazing. Especially after a day of skiing in the cold. Great drinks and service. The receipt includes a separate tip line for the kitchen. I like the sentiment. I had no clue what to tip for the kitchen, so I took my best guess. I think it's nice they are trying to do more for all their employees. Sushi has always been excellent here as well. But the Hooked burger. Man. I'm hooked. It cost $29 but soooooo worth it.

Yelp
A nice spot in Beaver Creek Village for sushi. The roll was fresh. We sat at the bar and the service was friendly and attentive.

Tibi W.

Yelp
Very expensive and bad service. We stopped after a day of skiing to get a little bite to eat, and so we ordered a few drinks until food service began at 4:30. Placed an order for a single roll of sushi at 4:30 on the dot. 50 minutes later, our food was still not ready, and when it finally came out, looked and tasted mediocre. All for the privilege of waiting beside frankly unhelpful/unfriendly front house staff and spending nearly $50 for six bites of food.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Almost didn't come because of the low stars..SO GLAD WE DID! Everything was excellent including the fresh chicken tenders. We had a mix of breakfast and lunch items. Staff was busy but efficient. Great experience .

Bill B.

Yelp
Outstanding. Was there in mid January to celebrate my birthday and the food and the service was just over the top good. I've been there for lunch the previous year, but wanted to try their dinner menu. I think the Photos just say at all.

Yelp
Best sushi ever. The whole fish experience was awesome and they offer really good saki. I've been here twice and loved it both times!

Yelp
Great happy hour. Place was remodeled a year or two ago and looks great. Sushi, whole fish, you can get it all here

Yelp
Hooked provides the experience that most people wish they had when they first visited Nobu or other trendy Japanese fusion restaurants. The funny part is we ended up dining at Hooked in Beaver Creek by chance. The reviews of this restaurant are, frankly, bad, and the only reason we ended up here was because they had an open reservation near 6 PM on short notice. We were blown away by the selection, the service, and the whole fish preparations. We're critical, we're experienced, we've been around the block. Hooked was a consensus top ten all-time pick amongst my party of three. We ordered oysters, caviar, two different whole fish, and fries. The bill, even with a half-bottle of Champagne and a bottle of sake, wasn't outrageous compared to any other high-end Asian fusion restaurant. It wasn't even our highest bill in Beaver Creek. It was our most memorable dining experience of this trip by a long shot. I returned the next day for lunch and it was still great. The menu is puzzling, absolutely, but there are few seafood restaurants at ski resorts that even attempt to carry selections this broad. The negative reviews need to be discounted significantly. While it is plausible that a few people got swindled by the expensive whole fish, you can look back through several years of negative reviews and realize that it's mainly people complaining about cancelation policies, the food being "expensive," or the unhelpful "bad service." One of the few reviews featuring any real qualifiers suggests that Uchi in Dallas is superior. The funny thing is that I ate at Uchi in Austin with one of my friends I dined at Hooked with and we agree it was a "generic expensive Japanese restaurant." If you are looking for a premium meal in the vicinity of $200pp+, this is it. Stop spending your money at steakhouses.
google avatar

Kenny W.

Yelp
This is probably the best seafood restaurant in the country. Yes... in the country. If you haven't been there, and you love seafood, you need to experience this restaurant. But bring the bank, because if you want the full experience, it will cost a lot. But OMG it's worth it!!!
google avatar

Zen G.

Yelp
You might be rightfully hesitant to order raw seafood in a teeny, landlocked resort. However the offerings here challenge those in larger cities. I survived and enjoyed oysters on the half shell. The New England clam chowder was so good I ordered it twice. It is creamy as opposed to chunky, which is what I prefer. Had an excellent Lobster roll and salmon sashimi on different nights. Apparently the restaurant is open later than many in this sleepy village. The service was excellent. I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else.

Becky B.

Yelp
Incredible spot! We picked our fish out and they served 4 appetizers raw and then the other half of the fish cooked. Not a cheap place but also unlike anything I've done before!

Morganne M.

Yelp
Our food was absolutely fantastic. We had a wide variety of food from the menu and one individual from our party had the fresh fish option. This option was worth the larger price tag with the multiple courses and preparations. There wasn't a bad preparation in the mix. We also had the amazing barrel aged Mai tai. This was our first stop when we arrived in Beaver Creek after a long day of travel. The food alone is worth 5 stars. The service was a little disappointing as we were made to feel as if we couldn't afford the expensive fish. It was almost as if taking time to explain it wasn't worth the time, but the attitude seemed to change after we ordered it. Don't judge a book by its cover. ;)
google avatar

Gayle S.

Yelp
The food is fantastic, bartender makes a great drink. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. The hostess killed all of those above mentioned accolades. They made the environment of this casual restaurant, with elegantly prepared food, tense and unwelcoming. It was clear the waitstaff and bartender were being held back from performing their excellent service by the rude host, who behaved more like a gatekeeper. They were verbally rude and denied requests that were clearly available and actually accusing the guest of untrue actions. The food here is so good. But for the price I would expect a kinder more appropriate person upon my entrance and exit.
google avatar

Doe D.

Yelp
We went there to celebrate my stepson's Birthday. The food was good. They brought over a nice dessert to sing happy birthday.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
Not at all worth the price. We ordered calamari and shrimp nachos and they were lackluster. The nachos aren't real nachos, so don't expect that, and the shrimp was overly battered. The grilled fish was good, but not extraordinary. The hostess in charge had a bad attitude and was not at all accommodating. This place acts like it wants to be high class but can't pull it off. It's a waste of time and $.
google avatar

Tawnya H.

Yelp
We stopped in here for apres ski drinks. They hand make a lot of the mixers, so you know they are natural. They do have a lot of Sakes and Mules - their specialty drinks. Maybe because we were in there between lunch and dinner, the bartender was busy prepping - but we had a hard time getting his attention. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't fabulous either. However - there aren't that many bars. So, I'd probably go back.
google avatar

Alla L.

Yelp
I was skeptical about this place from all the mediocre reviews. I came in to grab a quick lunch at the bar and felt immediately at home. Justin at the bar got me a pot of hot water to warm my hands on while making me a fantastic version of a hot toddy that was perfect for the weather. The reason for the 5 stars is not just the amazing service and ambience.. but really for the food! I had the fresh tuna sandwich and it was fantastic! The fish was so fresh and a lot of detail went into this sandwich. It's pricy $16 lunch special but worth it for the quality! I really want to come back here for dinner to try their whole fish options. I had the lava cake for dessert which was good... but the fish is what really stood out. Worth a try if in the area. Make reservations early since it gets booked up!

Yelp
This restaurant should've done much better during the pandemic. Out third year at this restaurant. We love the food every time we are in BC. However this is going to be our last time. I just canceled our upcoming Christmas dinning reservation. 2 adults and 1 child(not sure why shows 6 guest count in receipt) $300 for food but no service?! To be clear, the waitress--Elizabeth is nice and warm.(the service switched to the manger after we ordered our whole fish. That's where the night mare starts. ) The manager is careless and rude!!! He is cold. Why would the owner hire him??? Good luck to you Mr. Manager. May this holiday season change your attitude with more care and grateful.

Jason S.

Yelp
We ate here 3/12/24 for dinner and the food was absolutely amazing. The ambience is very sleek and cool.. The Maine lobster roll was FANTASTIC! My wife and 2 kids loved it as well. We will be back!!!!

Yelp
I am actually saddened to write this review. It's not my favorite place in Beaver Creek because I'm not a Sushi fan but my family and friends love this restaurant and regularly spend substantial amounts of money here. We had dinner and drinks here on Wednesday 8/30/23. Great service. Great waitress. Love Mike the bartender also. Hate the add on "Kitchen tip". (I'm guessing by our experience, the waitstaff gets screwed out of a lot of tips because of this). Had the Wagyu burger. It was okay. Overcooked slider size patty on a regular size bun. The patty was literally hiding. Also had fish tacos and sushi. We came back Saturday and ordered drinks at the outside bar. (Which wasn't manned very well) We were told we couldn't leave Hooked premises with our drinks. So we looked for a place to sit. We sat on the outer edge outside with our drinks from this establishment. There were other groups of people next to that same spot that had been sitting there for hours with no food, nor drink from this restaurant. Everything they had at their table was from Octoberfest. After about 20 minutes we were approached by a short woman with brown hair and told we had to move. We explained our drinks were from their establishment and we were going to be ordering more. She didn't care. She said they had reservations for that outside table. From our experiences and MANY times at this restaurant, you can not make reservations for outside seating. We have always been told it is a first come, first serve area. They did not move the people on either side of us that didn't not have any goods from this establishment. Just us. We did not argue and moved back to standing in the tiny outside bar area. I did go inside later and politely asked to speak to management. Every person there in that front area stood frozen and looked scared. No one would give me a name of a manager and not a single person took initiative to get anyone from management. As I was speaking to the bartender, asking about what happened, the same woman passed by and made a snipey comment to us. I'm guessing she didn't like us questioning the situation. We returned to the small outside bar area to finish our drinks. After about 15 minutes, my brother in law went inside to speak to a manager. At that time the same woman identified herself as a manager. My brother in law explained how he is a business man himself, serving the public and how he felt about how she approached the situation. He was civil and calm. At some point another gentleman joined their conversation. Then my brother in law returned to our spot in bar area. Approximately 15-20 minutes later a gentleman not identifying himself came up to us and saying something about leaving. After about a couple of minutes we realized he was from Beaver Creek security. He never identified himself as such. There was another one in the door way. Mind you, NO one was drunk, disorderly, disruptive or disrespectful. All we did was respectfully convey our concerns of how this person, now known as management, handled a situation. In the interim this BC guy became disrespectful, using foul language and putting his hands on a 79 year old extremely calm man. Totally uncalled for. I wish I had gotten his name but we were so shocked by the turn of events. I don't know why this female manager felt threatened by some negative input from some over 60 year old people. HUGE Napoleonic complex is my guess. My family and friends spend thousands at Hooked regularly and have always enjoyed this place. I hope the owner Chef Riley Romanin reads his reviews and see's how his establishment is being run and understands what kind of revenue he has lost. From other reviewers, these types of incidents are not isolated. I have been in the restaurant business all my life in practically every position, working my way into management and owner. I know what good customer service is. How "Ashley" (the name I was given on the phone, not too sure it's correct) handled the situation was uncalled for. I would never treat loyal patrons the way she did and I'm absolutely positive she will have different spin on the situation to save her ass. She would never work for me with her attitude. I could go into another story about how she was at the Octoberfest stand, but enough has been said. Sorry to say that our partnership as loyal patrons has ended. We will choose other places to enjoy food, drinks and spend our money. It's a huge revenue loss for Mr. Romanin, his waitstaff and bartenders. Your staff shouldn't treat ANYONE that way. Your so called managers level of professionalism along with the other gentleman (I use that term loosely) was nonexistent. All she's "managed" to do is chase off good customers. I also feel sorry for the staff that has to work under this kind of management.

I Know S.

Yelp
Over priced because they can. location....Oyster po-boy...literally...a scoop of peppers and onions and a remnant of an oyster...almost $40....sent it back...waiter said they have no idea why that nonsense is on the menu...everyone complains...food is fine. just that. average sushi at Michelin star pricing. skip this place. positive reviews are BS....it is average sushi at best...with servers running like crazy to keep upscale customers happy while serving Denny's quality food...expensive is to be expected in mountain towns...but this place is off the chart expensive for garbage.....

Yelp
A great place for an apres cocktail drink and appetizer after skiing in Beaver Creek. The bartender - Kelly - was amazing. She gave us great recommendations. For drinks, I would recommend the Mai Tai. For a snack, I recommend the Baked Diver Scallops - scallops wrapped in bacon with parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. It may be pricey, but we are HOOKED.

Diane S.

Yelp
We went to Beaver Creek tonight, Sept 7 to listen to music. we decided to order food from Hooked for take out. We placed our order, got a drink and went to the music venue. They were extremely short staffed due to road closure for a vehicle fire. The manger delivered our food to our table, and we received an incorrect order. We knew the staffing situation and decided to eat what was brought. A bit later, the manager delivered the correct order apologized for the error and refused to take payment for the incorrect food. Both dishes were delicious! The staff did the best they could under the circumstances and were very responsive to their customers.we will definitely return!!

Yelp
Way overpriced and not good. Their fish prices are not listed on the menu. Its $75/lb. Those nice pictures people are posting with the fried fish bones and sushi...that's a $150 dish. We ended up paying $100/person for several sushi rolls, a couple of appetizers, and a fish filet. The $25 dragon roll was too sweet and not worth packing.

Yelp
We come to this restaurant annually and usually have a 5-star experience. Our most recent visit was less than ideal, but I think this was mainly due to the confusion around pricing for their "U-Call-It" Special. Upon entering, your eye is immediately drawn to tables with a prepared and deliciously crusted fish that looks as though it simply swam out of the ocean and was flash fried on your plate. Naturally, we were eagerly curious. Our waitress was more than happy to bring out the fresh fish and explain the process of half going to the sushi counter and the other half going to be prepared to your liking by the kitchen. She went through each of the market priced fish and explained that we would be charged $XX amount per pound. There was one particularly expensive Japanese fish, so we looked at the U Call It section and chose a cheaper amberjack priced at $40. However, our friends dining with us told us they had come earlier in the week and were explained the pricing but were shocked when the bill came and it was $700! The other couple had been warned and asked for the cheapest fish but they were also surprised when their bill came out to $360. The experience and quality I am sure worth the price, however clarity on the price beforehand would have eased my concerns just so we knew what we were getting into. We tried to order the $40 amberjack, but our server informed us that this fish was not eligible despite being in this section of the menu. It might be helpful to have a different section dedicated to this special to avoid any confusion. Some other suggestions would be to possibly relocate the access to the wine cellar. It was located right behind our table in a narrow path and servers were constantly behind us retrieving wine. Lastly, things seemed a little pricier than usual, but this is common for businesses trying to bounce back from losses during pandemic closures. Due to this though, I ordered less sushi than normal. All in all, it was a good experience and we always love this place. The sushi is fabulous and even with higher prices, the portion sizes are almost comparable. I would still recommend this place to anyone visiting Beaver Creek.

Yelp
Enjoyed eating lunch here. It is a smaller space, but used well and the food is good. We had some sandwiches both were very good with quality meat. They have a few draft beer options to choose from too. You can watch them preparing sushi and other fish meals while you eat too.

Yelp
Very snotty service and overpriced, mediocre seafood. Arrived after snowboarding right in the middle of their happy hour, which runs from 3pm-4pm. At 330pm upon ordering they're hitting me with the last call to get any happy hour food orders in lol. The server was not friendly and the food was not even good. He didn't seem to know what their $2.50 sashimi special was and said it changes all the time and you never know what you'll get. What?! Basically he's like just order and you'll find out after you get it Lol. Way overpriced, even at Happy Hour. The space is crammed and the staff is non attentive and rude. My assumptions were confirmed as I was walking out - as one of the staff walk out the main door without turning around to hold it and it slams me in the face. Would never be back.

Yelp
Really disappointing experience. We came in for a late lunch with hardly anyone in...it took 40 minutes to order and another 40 to get food. The salmon burger was over cooked, dry, and very mediocre. The whole fish was missing quite a bit of meat, we weren't asked for drink orders, and one of our appetizers never arrived. Another party arrived after us, sat, ordered, ate, and left before our food arrived, same waitress. There was zero recognition of the situation, so I cannot recommend eating here.

Yelp
This place seemed overwhelmed with dine in and togo customers when we walked in but somehow we snagged two seats at the bar after a ~20 minute wait. We weren't that hungry so we just got sushi and edamame- the california and rainbow rolls weren't anything to write home about but I *loved* my spicy salmon roll- so good! We had no idea about the whole fish experience here until we saw trays of fish being presented to various tables but a nice bartender explained it to us - sounds fun! Maybe we'll try that another time. Oh and they have a fun selection of mules- I recommend adding a Kentucky one, though!

Yelp
The whole fish experience was phenomenal!! Half the fish was made into sushi and ceviche.the other half was served "hot raw" with part miso glaze and part chimichurri. The entire fish was utilized. From the presentation of the fish choices to the way it was prepped was exciting and delicious! A true foodie must!! They recommend a pound and a half of fish per person but a 6lb fish did great for the 4 of us with a few other sushi choices from the menu. Highly recommend making reservations way before you plan to travel.

Yelp
The water had lots of cool ice cubes. I liked the fact that we could charge our phone while we are eating. Joseph was losing at fishdom and he sucked. The food was really good. I recommend the clam chowder.
