I’m from California and I’ve traveled all over. Pizza is the one of the things that is not done well everywhere. Hop Atomica is not only mastering pizza, but everything on the menu. The beer is small batch brewed in house and everything in my flight was crisp, full flavored and wonderful. My pizza (the classic) was so perfectly made. Full of toppings, the most masterful ratio of sauce:crust: cheese. Our basil cheese bread was fluffy and crunchy around the edges and tasted fresh and light. The owners were both in house and very active walking the dining room and interacting with customers. Forever client here. Can’t wait to try more!

I just tried a flight of beers at Hop Atomica, but they were good. The space is bright and modern, and there’s a slightly upscale feel. The staff was professional, although it took a little bit before I was helped despite it not being terribly busy. The beers were of good quality, and the sour Prickled Pink was my favorite; it was light, refreshing, and fairly original. Overall, this struck me as a pleasant place to enjoy a drink or meal.

Emma has been incredible behind the bar for us! Her food suggestions and killer cocktails are perfection! She made us feel welcome and like one of the fam! We will be back VERY soon!

Yummy food, great beer, so many drink options to choose from! Music at a good volume, staff welcoming and with a positive attitude. This brewery gives off good vibes and ensures a good time! Seat yourself in one of the many indoor options, or outside, scan the QR code to place your order, or sit at the bar! Will definitely come here in the near future! Samurai salad with added chicken The turkey sandwhich Cheese and basil bread

Do yourself a favor and stop by this very unique brewery and distillery with a great restaurant all under One roof. The beer and spirits here are excellent with a large selection of house-made beer and many spirits that are distilled regularly in house. The fare is mostly pizza all made in a wood fired oven. Outside they have a smoker that gets used for special menu items in the summertime. They have excellent wings and appetizers as well. Highly recommend it!

I did not have food, so take that as you will. But their beer and booze is solid. I liked the gin (Old world and London dry), I preferred the London but both were good- better than the beer (West Coast IPA). Nice ambiance. Jonah the bartender was fun! Will be back to try food and update.

The atmosphere is amazing! They have a very nice and inviting setup. The service when placing my order wasn’t that great. I’d also suggest the prices on the website be updated to match the prices on the menu, very misleading. Not the great pizza for someone looking for a vegan option of pizza. Again aesthetic and setup was very nice.

Google
The beers here are amazingly unique and delicious. I am from Wisconsin and a self proclaimed hop head and I can say without a doubt that the beer was well thought out and the brew master obviously put heart and soul into the process. The smoked wings with the “One inch punch sauce” were the best I’ve ever tasted, and I’m no spring chicken. Great experience in Louisville, well done Hop Atomica!!!

Yelp
Did a carry out but I'll definitely be back! I tried the Margherita Pizza with the Smoked Hot Honey Wings! Man was I pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. I'll be back next time to dine in, but the Tuesday pizza special is clutch. You can get any 10'inch pizza for just $10! The outdoor seating was a nice touch. Service was excellent, even though I didn't dine in. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and given my order to go! Make sure you check out the website for all the happy hour specials and deals! It's so worth a try

Yelp
This is not the review I wanted to write. There's so much promise that remains unfulfilled at Hop Atomica. Paul, as the owner, I'm going address my comments directly to you. I know you're proud of your "self service" approach to ordering. But it flat out fails. It's been a consistent theme in comments since the day you opened. It's chaotic at best and damn confusing. We tried ordering by the app, but there's no way to customize an order. Want cauliflower crust? (We did). Get up and tell the guy at the bar. Want some special toppings? Get up and tell the guy at the bar. Why not just tell a server and save your guests the trouble? Need a water refill? Go get it yourself. Another constant theme you said you've addressed is burnt pizza crust. Sorry, it's still coming out black on the edges. See our picture. Noise. Many folks have complained about the loud music. My watch clocked over 100 decibels. That's short term hearing loss for a brief exposure and a flat out health hazard to your employees. It certainly doesn't make for comfortable conversation. One can barely hear themself think. Service. Well, that's another issue. You've got servers carrying food with no idea who ordered it. They Hop (pun intended) from table to table asking what food we ordered. Add a table number with an order and give the kids a chance to serve properly. BTW, my order of wings came out a full 20 minutes before my wife's pizza was brought to the table. Would you be happy with that service? One other thing. When I placed our order at the bar, no one brought out the beer. Again, self service, as you might have guessed it, as I had to get up and get the bar guy to pour it. He can't be both an order taker and a bar tender. It just doesn't work. Bottom line? You've been open 18 months and Hop Atomica still hasn't worked out the kinks. But based on the crowd on Friday evening, our concerns don't seem to be affecting business. From what we saw, the under 30 crowd loves the place and knows how the place works (or doesn't work). Your food is good. Very good. I'm not a fan of smoked wings, but yours were above average. The dry rub had good flavor (though I don't know why it's called a Korean rub). The wings were good sized and served nice and hot. The pizza was also quite good, although more of a European style. It came hot, lots of cheese. The gluten free crust (which you had, then didn't have, then had again-all depending on who we spoke to) was thin and crisp. And once you got past the burnt edges, quite tasty. But not everyone wants pepperoni on pizza. Sometimes a simple veggie pizza is desired. But at Hop Atomica it takes an act of congress to get some non-meat toppings. There's lots of beer to choose from. And it's served up cold. And the bar tender was generous with samples to help you find a beer to suit your taste. But the pluses of friendly people and good food and beer can't compensate for the frustrating experience of ordering and dining at Hop Atomica. I hope management takes a look at its practices and reconsiders. Hop Atomica is collapsing under its own weight. What worked at first isn't working now. As I said at the beginning of this review, "there's so much promise that remains unfulfilled."

Yelp
I sooooo wanted to give this place 5 stars! But alas, there were just a couple of "cons" that, sadly, couldn't be overlooked. Here we go: Cons: 1. The pizza crust was burned. Not completely, but enough that you could taste it most bites. The rest of the pizza tasted delicious. Imagine how good it would have been if the crust hadn't been burned! And it wasn't just our pizza. I overheard the next table complaining and when I looked over theirs was actually worse than ours. 2. It was hot inside. Now it was super hot outside so the AC was probably struggling, but it was uncomfortable. Pros: 1. The pizza really was delicious! (Except for the crust). 2. My husband loved the beer. He can be picky when it comes to IPAs but he was very pleased. 3. The staff was so nice. 4. The espresso martini is amazing. The pros far outweigh the cons, so I imagine we'll be back! Hopefully next time I can give Hop Atomica the 5 stars it deserves!

Yelp
My girlfriends and I have a tradition where we go out for lunch on Oaks Day. This year, we chose Hot Atomica and were so impressed! I had tried a sample of their food at the Taste of Derby and was so intrigued to go there myself. We started with the hummus, which was expertly plated and a step above normal hummus. The pretzel and beer cheese was also big enough for the four of us to share. It came out warm, and the beer cheese hit the spot. The main event, though, was the pizza. The Fig & Pig -- get this!!! The mix of mozzarella, fig jam, prosciutto and goat cheese is just perfect. I've been thinking about this pizza ever since we got it. We were able to easily get a table, and you can order from your table via an app. Their cocktails were also on point, though next time I want to try more of their beer. We will be back, especially to enjoy the outdoor patio!

Yelp
Visited Hop Atomica on a Sunday for brunch. Our server Chris did a great job. Great selection of craft beers probably 20 most of which are not mainstream. Also offer flights of wine, and numerous custom cocktails on the menu. We went there for the pizza and we're not disappointed. Great crust good undercarriage, crunchy with a solid sauce and the right amount of cheese on the margarita pizza. Definitely in a high seven's on my version of the Portnoy scale . Place had a great vibe as well with open windows on the front and a DJ playing music.

Yelp
Alex has been super informative and kind. Excellent service all around and really good beer.

Yelp
First time trying this place out with a few friends. The menu and drink list is very good. Our only obstacle was there are no so called waiters and no instructions. Only the person that brings the food. The place is in a nice building and has a beer garden. Inside seating are low tables and a section of high tables. You scan the bar code and look at the list of drinks and food etc. We wanted water so we did flag the person bringing food to tables and he did get us water but said we will need to get refills by ourselves. Water dispenser was not in a visible spot as it was on other side of a wall. Didn't know! Then he proceeded to tell us we start our own tab and order stuff by ourselves. Took a bit of getting used to, especially for us older less technical people. Time placing order to actually getting food had some distinct delays but we worked through it. The drinks were excellent and all the food was great, pizza, hummus, pretzels and salad. Now we know for next time. A few glitches but we got them ironed out and had a good meal. I do suggest going here; just a bit different ordering. It might be nice to have some instructions for newcomers. Oh yes wood fired oven for pizzas and hot sandwiches. Yum!

Yelp
Fun vibe. Open seating - inside and outside. Order using QR code, and food is brought to you. Drinks were fun. Pizza delicious. ETA: Error with rating. Def a 5 stars!

Yelp
The prices here were great and the drinks were amazing. The servers were very nice. It's open seating and you can order by QR code instead of a server asking lots of questions. It was a little chilly but there was plenty of seating and space to move around.

Yelp
We love hop atomica!! We had been several times for drinks but finally opted for their food options! The pizza did not disappoint and the mimosa flight is always a plus The patio is perfect and dog friendly. There's always good music playing and we've never had bad service. We will continue going there

Yelp
We visited here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We were seated very quickly and they have water outside that you can fill up on your own, which I did enjoy. We ordered on the app. We got a large pepperoni pizza and it was well priced for we got it was brick oven style cooked, which we enjoyed. I did like the atmosphere. I enjoyed the food and they had a petting zoo outside that my children enjoyed as well. I recommend it and we would be Back.
google avatar

Cody S.

Yelp
Food is solid. Not the best pizza in town, but it's a decent menu. Can't give any stars for service as they do the QR code ordering and don't interact and then the code ordering defaults to 22% tip - so make sure to change that. Ambiance is fine, but it was 95 degrees this past week and the inside of the restaurant was close to 80 - turn on some AC. Honestly won't be back unless I'm meeting someone else who suggests it.

Yelp
Kentucky liquor laws still perplex me. They had a brewery and spirit stills. What a business model! There was a DJ playing 90's music. Probably read the crowd pretty well. All the beer we had was good. Server was great and fun to talk to. Had a range of beers, pilsners, west ipa's, farmhouse ales, sours. Pretty much whatever is your flavor. No complaints, just a great brewery to stop at.

Yelp
What an amazing place - everything from the decor to the service to the food was phenomenal - I was so pleasantly surprised. We ordered two pizzas, the fig and pig (olive oil, mozz, fig jam, dry aged proscuitto, vermont goat cheese, maldon, parsley) and the soprano (red sauce, mozz, triple pepperoni, bacon, grana padano) Both were incredible in their own way, one was sweet and savory, the other rich and meaty. We also went for a couple of apps, the cheese and basil bread (garlic confit, fontina and mozzarella cheese, house basil oil, aleppo flake, parsley) - really good, although it really was just another pizza with no sauce on it, they gave you a little cup of marinara, and the smoked wings with garlic parm sauce. So meaty and the sauce was so good. If I had any complaints it would be the ordering system. There is a QR code that you are supposed to scan and place the order through. I hate using QR codes just for the reason that they are easily hacked, but also I have an old phone that doesnt always pick up on the code so thankfully my dining companion took care of it. But also, old people? What does someone who is technologically inept do? I just have issues. Anyway, 5 stars, definitely come here.

Yelp
This is like my third time to visit. I do enjoyed their beers. I like the idea of flight of beers. This place is very different from others because you picked your own table of your preferences but sometime it is not enough for everyone or might have to wait. There is no servers to come to your table. You will have to use the code to order drinks and foods and then they will bring it to you. In your future warning, when you order pizza, it will might take a while. For me, it rroughly took me about at least 30 minutes waiting but It was all worth it because their pizza are so good. It is make from scratch and use wood burn pizza oven. Just be patience with them. But in other hand, I do enjoy it since it is different from others.

Yelp
Me and my wife decided to stop by here and try their food and have a drink on a Sunday afternoon, and let me tell you ... we will 120% be back! They were having a silent disco outside which was very cool to witness. The inside was very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly when asking about drink options at the bar. Me and my wife got the pretzel and beer cheese for an appetizer, with blue buffalo chicken pizza (and for all my restaurant ranch lovers, this place is top tier). We both got the caramel apple sour. Everything was so good, we had to get the bonfire smores to go!

Yelp
Here I am in Louiseville for brewery visit #304! Hop Atómica sounds like a brewery out of The Jetsons or something. I loved that show as a kid and yes I'm that old. Well, not exactly but it was still playing regularly when I was a kid. Hop Atómica is very upscale looking as compared to the smaller more neighborhood breweries I often frequent. A big outdoor seating area was nice and busy on a Saturday at 7 pm. A large bar inside is where I parked myself. The place was busy! I took a flight of four starting with the Das Aussprechen dunkel. A dunkel was one of my first real favorite beers I found when I discovered craft beer. That was at Gordon Biersch Brewing around 1992 or so in San Jose, CA. I know you didn't ask but there you go anyway. The dunkel was a good one and very true to style. Next up was Its Pronounced "Peecan" which must be specified because "Pe-khan" is just wrong. This is an English brown ale similar to Newcastle but with a yuge "Peecan" flavor. Very good beer. They were out of the Irish red ale which I was going to taste in honor of SWPFTD who wasn't traveling with me this trip. Sigh to both no Irish red ale and no Irish lass with me. I went with the Stave & Bean Coffee stout instead. The menu says of this beer, "Brewed w/ Louisville's Stave & Bean Coffee beans that were aged in Peerless Rye barrels." Now I'm guessing Stave & Bean is a local coffee place. I had to look this up as normally beers get aged in barrels and I had not heard of coffee beans aged in rye barrels. It is Kentucky though so everything, maybe excluding baby formula gets aged in barrels. I'm not complaining of course! Good coffee flavor to it. I enjoyed this one. Last up was Gold Fugg Yourself, an English pale ale with fuggle hops. Al this is an easy drinking pale ale with fairly mild hops. I didn't try the food but it sure looked and smelled good! I was tempted but the is a Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives BBQ place nearby I'm headed to check out after this! If anyone is a glutton for punishment, please, follow my brewery, and distillery, reviews from across the U.S. and beyond! https://www.yelp.com/collection/-8iscFkpiiCI563-FDfwGg and if anyone is wondering who SWPFTD is you will have to check out my review of Black Market Brewing Co in Temecula, CA to understand. Yes, you will need to read into it a little to get the joke but I have confidence in you! I hope my confidence is not misplaced.

Yelp
I wouldn't come here again. The experience was bizarre. Not clear that it's sooo much self service. There is a self service station that you have to get your own plates, water. You order on the QR code. The only thing the staff does is bring to your table the food you ordered. I guess this is the way of the future, but it didn't feel good. We were confused the whole time. Was pretty dirty too, some staff was hitting weed pens in the bathroom too. Hair stuck to the grate on the floor of the bathroom, so gross. Crumbs everywhere. They didn't make one of our items we ordered and we asked to take it off at the end. We brought guests here from out of town and we had to apologize to them because it was such a bad experience. Food was alright. Not good enough to ignore all the other issues.

Yelp
How have I not reviewed this place? This new brewery has only been open just a few months in 2024. I have heard from a few people I knew personally that the cocktails and some of their food are really good. Went here a few times with a friend and one time with myself. This is a small building located behind Germantown lofts. It has a lovely outdoor seating area however don't let the size of this place fool you. There is of course the street parking. The inside actually looks more like a fancy restaurant than your average brewery, not a bad thing. There is plenty of bar seating and table seating. Service is top notch and Paul one of the owners is absolutely amazing, have yet to meet the other owner. I don't have a favorite beer from here however, I will say the pizza is very good. I got a cheese pizza although they have a fancy name for it, I forget the name of it. No complaints on this place. Everything is just right.

Yelp
My friends and I went to Hop Atomica for a pre holiday dinner and when we walked in there was a DJ playing music and lots of people enjoying the music. I entered the restaurant and started to dance and everyone started hyping me up! It was the best! We asked the hostess if we could sit in the side room to be able to talk as the music was very loud and they were very happy to acquiesce. We decided to order via the table QR code and the food came out quickly for how busy it was. We each ordered a pizza. Mine was the pepperoni pizza with vegan cheese. My friends ordered the fig and mushroom pizzas and they said that they were good. We also ordered drinks and deserts and everything was incredibly delicious. I regret not taking pictures of everything but I was hungry! Just gives me another reason to go back!

Yelp
I haven't tried the drinks, but the food was flavorless so I won't be back. The food was lacking in many ways... flavor being the main one. We got a sandwich, cheese bread, and a salad. None of them blew us away, or even made us want to come back. The cheese bread was over greasy, the salad was OK, and the sandwich was just lacking. How do you mess up a sandwich? Oh and silverware was weirdly shaped which made it hard to actually use. I understand wanting to be fun and trendy but there's a reason that forks have a standardized shape. No need to reinvent the wheel. I didn't try any beverages here, so maybe they are better, but I won't be back to find out.

Yelp
When I saw another restaurant had moved into the building of the former Finn's, former Couvillion, and the former Germantown Social, I was hoping it would finally be someplace that would stick. I honestly didn't give it a second thought strolling in with our family on a Friday night, only to find every table occupied...inside and out. We joined another couple at a long table outdoors. The table had a QR code that made viewing the menu easy and ordering even easier. We placed our order via QR code online right from our table. We ordered the cheesy basil bread- garlic, fontina, mozzarella bread strips topped with house made basil oil, served with red sauce, and THE FUNGI, 14"- ricotta, mozzarella, roasted mushrooms, and red onions. My husband ordered THE JEFFREY | Imperial Light Lager | 7.1%- Light, crisp, imperial pilsner style lager. I opted for the Aperol Spritz- Prosecco, Aperol, Topo Chico, Orange Bitters. There was water available (self serve) outside and also servers offering to fill our cups. The service was warm and welcoming. When we first arrived Alt 105.1 was set up and then a live musician, Blue Murphy, took over. The patio lights set the mood and the atmosphere was unpretentious with strangers mingling, dogs (on leashes) hanging, and we found ourselves having friendly conversation with the people at nearby tables, and at our own. There is a true neighborhood bar/restaurant vibe that I think was the mark this location has needed all along. Best of all, the pizza was downright delicious. The flavors were fresh. The crust was thin and crunchy without being overcooked or dry. I'll admit that it is rare for me to crave pizza, but I think I've finally met my match. I left full walking to the car and yet I'm already looking forward to coming back. The interior had a bit more of an upscale feel for a pizza joint. There are a couple of nooks perfect for a gathering that would make it feel a bit more intimate. I normally feel drawn to the AC, but I enjoyed being outside among minglers. This is a really unique spot to get to know your neighbors. It would be great for date night. I was comfortable with my young children in tow. What a great addition to Germantown!

Yelp
Great food and service, also really good drink selection and good cocktails. The outdoor area is very nice too

Yelp
I had heard mixed reviews about Hop Atomica since the space opened, so I chose to wait a few months before trying it myself. We went on a Friday night around 7:30, and my experience was...mixed. When we walked in, we were confused about whether to seat ourselves or order at the bar. Maybe we missed signage. Anyways - a server did gesture to seat ourselves. Once we sat down, it took a few minutes to figure out that you could *only order using the QR code at the table. We placed orders (and only for drinks) and it took about 10 minutes for them to arrive. Not bad timing, but I had ordered a flight and there was a beer missing. They had run out of one of the beers, but that was not reflected on the site. So I quickly ordered another while the server was there. I ordered pale ales and IPAs, which were not clearly identified on the sheet and the tray, so it was difficult to figure out what I actually enjoyed and could order again. I'll run through some other things: the vodka, according to my wife, was very good. My friends enjoyed their beers and cocktail, and they ordered the Fungi pizza. They polished it off, and I had one slice, and it was solid. I watched others eat the wings, which looked awesome. While the QR-code service was inconsistent, the humans working there were awesome once they could help. (I recommend ordering your next drink 10-15 minutes ahead of when you might need it, and expect more than 20 minutes for a meal.) The bartenders and servers were friendly and accommodating. I really like the feeling inside the restaurant, the details are pleasing, and the patio is very inviting. I'd be happy to give Hop Atomica another shot, but there is a lot of good pizza and beer for cheaper prices around the area. So it might be a little while. There was a good crowd when we went, so hopefully they can keep working out the kinks and become a staple in the neighborhood!

Yelp
I've been keeping up with them since they opened! This space has been through many changes and has been a few different restaurants so I hope they stick around! Since the weather was nice, we sat outside. When we got there, it wasn't all that busy. Mostly a few groups sitting in the back rooms that looked like they were reserved. It did get busier much later with almost every table filled! We tried a few beers. Lots of variety. We all liked what we had. We also decided to share pizzas, so we ordered the fig and prosciutto and the Margherita. It did take over 30min to get our pizzas. Not sure why since they weren't quite busy yet at that time. Anyway, they were worth the wait! Both pizzas were delicious, but the sauce on the Margherita was on another level! It tasted fresh and like they had made it in-house. We had asked for extra cheese and basil on it so it was overall an excellent meal. The pizzas are a bit thin. Shareable but I think I could eat almost an entire pizza if I wasn't drinking beer. You do order online which is easy and quick. We found some discounted drinks due to the PGA tournament going on in town. And there are servers around making sure we have what we need and pick up plates. The outside area does have a self-serve cart that had a water jug, utensils, and napkins. Overall, it's some of the best pizza I've had in town. It's pricey but you're paying for quality. I'll be back!

Yelp
I wanted to love Hop Atomica but there were a few things that just missed the mark for me! My husband and I came for a late lunch on a Sunday and when we arrived, the music was SO loud that I couldn't hear the girl at the door. I'm talking club level loud. We figured out later that there was some sort of event happening but literally every person that came in that wasn't a part of that had to sit outside due to the noise. Luckily, it was a nice day. My husband and I started with beers and the soft pretzel. Everything came out timely and the pretzel was delicious. The beer cheese, however, was super oily. It had good flavor but it was pretty unappealing and I had to stop after 2 bites. The mustard that it also came with was really good but I opted to add on the house made chili oil for $2. Don't bother with that. When it came out it was literally just olive oil with red pepper flakes. No depth of flavor, no garlicky, spicy goodness. Totally not worth it. We got the Fig & The Pig pizza and it was delicious! I love the combo of salty prosciutto with the earthy goat cheese and sweet fig jam. I thought the crust was really nice as I prefer a thinner pizza. All in all, I don't know that we'll return but I wouldn't totally turn it down if friends wanted to come. It's definitely a great place for groups with the outside seating.

Yelp
Hop Atomica, do not ever leave! The menu was impressive - from beer to cocktails to mocktails to gastronomy. Brilliant menu, truly. Especially for the libations! Upon entering, the intention and attention to detail are superb. Clean, classy, and a sassy menu! We tasted flights, cocktails, and pizza. All superb. The bartender was new to bartending (I believe), so I won't judge the cocktail off of that. The pizza was very thin and lacked ingredients, especially compared to the photos online. So, we may have had wonky cooks of the pizza. So, I won't judge off that and plan to visit again soon. The potential is still THERE! ONE MUST VISIT!

Yelp
This was a stop on a cross country road. We needed some pizza and this place was a great place! It's in the Germantown neighborhood of Louisville, KY and appears to be part of a brewery. Order was fast and easy using the Toast App. The service was fast and efficient and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was trendy and upscale but not over the top. It has an uptown atmosphere with a bar, a Biergarten, hi-top tables, regular tables and even a lounge area. Be warned though, they don't have a fountain for drinks if you like soda you have to order glass bottles individually. They to have water in a jug with a spigot. Lots of alcohol options as well.

Yelp
First time going for Pizza Week. We went around 4 to avoid crowds. We sat at the bar and had great service from bartender Brock. They have around 20 of their own beers to choose from. We enjoyed the Pecan brown & the black IPA. Thought prices for food were a little high (based on menu- but our $10 pizza week pizza was a great deal!) . Beer prices are on par with the rest of Lou and we lucked out to be there during happy hour. We definitely will be back.

Yelp
My family of 4 had a great lunch here and would definitely come back again! We split the Plain Jane cheese pizza, buffalo wings and the turkey sandwich with sweet chili thai chips. My husband and I also split a flight of 4 beers. My Germantown kolsch was flavorful. Sadly my Irish Red wasn't. Food and drinks are to be ordered through a QR code or at the bar. Because we wanted to alter our sandwich we ordered at the bar. Tabs need to be closed out and will have a 25% gratuity added if not. Overall service was good and food was delivered to our table. Seating indoors includes a bar area, low and high tops plus a lounge area with gorgeous couches. They have a great patio too. Open daily and hours are day to night. It's what landed us here today (when another spot didn't opt until 4p). Street parking available.

Yelp
Hop Atomica is a great place to grab food/drinks and hang out. Their food does not disappoint. I have gotten several things from there from their pizza, wings, appetizers, etc., and it is all homemade in-house and delicious. There are lounge area areas where you can hang out as well. I have had some slow service there before, but that's only because it's been so busy. Most of the time there are no issues. I will continue to go back!!

Yelp
had a decent experience overall. The pizza was good - not the best I've had, but certainly not bad either. I tried the Soprano and the Pepperoni; while they were crispy and flavorful, I wish I had tried the Queen. The pizzas were tasty, though nothing exceptional. The smoked wings, unfortunately, were too chewy, but the staff handled it graciously and allowed me to send them back. I also enjoyed a flute, which was a nice touch. The service was speedy, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. The staff stood out for their friendliness, greeting us warmly and even asking about our day. What truly stood out to me was the atmosphere - very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'd definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Yelp
Perfect spot for non-alcoholic cocktails and surprisingly good bar food. Ambiance is cute, you can open a tab and order food/drinks directly to your table. Seems like a reservation is a good idea if going on a Friday or Saturday.

Yelp
Went opening weekend. Parking in the parking lot or street parking. Inside seating and Patio open. Ordered beer via the table QR code with the toast app. It took about 15 minutes to get our beer. Employees said they were busy. We received our pizza very fast though. Pizza and beer was wonderful. Beer was $7 and pizza was $15 and then some were $20+.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick late lunch. Superficial the place was relatively deserted. Always makes me nervous as this space has been home to so many failed restaurants in the past. My husband ordered the Italian Sandwich having them leave off the mayonnaise. Mayo on italian sandwiches must be a southern thing. In the Northeast you would never get mayo just oil And vinegar. Here they use both. Husband announced that the sandwich was good but the bread wasn't great. I ordered the BLT and had to scrape off a good deal of the mayo...very heavy handed. Once I scrapped off some mayo the BLT was delicious. The tomatoes alone were worth the cost of the sandwich. So fresh, so ripe, so juicy. Serve been here a good number of times and the food sends to be hit or miss. Have never had the pizza here as we generally go to The Post when in the mood for pizza, but they do have An extensive pizza list and on a busy weekend it seems to be the number one choice that people order. All that being said, I do hope that Hope Atomica succeeds. It is a decent place to grab a bite in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Oh boy, where to start. I may just be an old soul but when i get to a restaurant im expecting service not to pay 80$ to take my own order get my own drinks, and get my own plates. We ordered the Soprano pizza and it had the most low quality cheese you can buy, the cheese is on par if not below Chuck E. Cheese. The drinks were alright at best for the price. Nothing to write home about, overall I am not pleased with my experience here and I don't think I will be coming back. If I wanted to serve myself I would go to Golden Corral... And to top it off we were not asked for an ID or any form of proof of age when we got our alcohol.

Yelp
Good service, liked the extensive drink menu that includes a mocktail section. Only one page food menu. Would have appreciated more kid friendly food options. Beautiful modern ambiance but the tall chairs felt a bit wobbly.

Yelp
Enjoyed our visit here with a couple of friends. It was a slower day for the restaurant. You order from a QR code on your phone rather than through a server and grabbed waters from a nearby water station. We loved the larger drink selection and variety, and the pizzas were pretty good. They weren't anything special but they were great if you're looking for something a little thinner and lighter! The pretzel was really good and we enjoyed both the cheese sauce and mustard that came with it! I would definitely recommend that as an app. If you need a servers attention you'll likely need to go find someone, but otherwise we were pretty self sufficient so it wasn't quite necessary anyways. Overall it was a nice dinner with friends, restaurant was clean and modern!

Yelp
This place has a great selection of unique drinks and good beers. We also tried the pretzel and cheese and the pepperoni pizza. Both were great and had decent portions for the price. You order with your phone so there was limited interaction with employees but the few that helped us were very friendly. They have a room with couches and TVs that would be great for a group hangout.

Yelp
This is a great place to hang out! You order from your phone so no one hovering or hurrying you! But the service was still great! We were checked on numerous times. LOVED the fig and pig pizza and I am NOT a fan of sweet and savory. However this was just the right mix. My vodka gimlet was so tasty with the house made vodka.

Yelp
I was lucky enough to attend the soft opening and have been back twice since then (and I've been to the Savannah location). The owner has Louisville ties and the interior space is gorgeous with a beautiful, large, dog-friendly patio. Beers and cocktails are top notch and served in gold rimmed glassware. Pizza is spectacular. Bar seating is all leather chairs and the bartenders are professionally attired. Classy place for date night or hanging with friends. Highest recommendation. Bonus Tip they have happy hour M-F 3-6 and again from 9-11. $5 beer, wells, sake, soju. $5 off select wines and martinis. Daily specials rotate

Yelp
Not at all what I expected. The beer is good. I was looking for a traditional pizza... not available. Not liking ordering by app. When I go out to eat I want a person to wait on me.

Yelp
I hate the music (it's mom-approved though!). Our waitress was very nice! Pizza was perfect-not too melty, not too hard. Correct spice level - bacon and pepperoni fit together well. (Mom loved it so much - delicious drinks and beautiful location.) -Warren (9) and Julienne (8)

Yelp
Hop Atomica is one of our go-to date night spots, or just if we are craving a slice! We love the vibes, music, and the staff. Be aware that you offer yourself on the toast app and close your tab at your conscience- you don't get waited on. However, the staff constantly checks in on you to make sure you have everything you need. We love hop atomic

Yelp
Hop Atomica did not disappoint! We picked this place because a) wood fired pizza b) beer flights and c) 5 star reviews. Also, it was close to our hotel near the convention center/fairgrounds/derby. The weather was nice so we sat outside in their expansive outdoor area. We ordered from our phones and our food and drinks were all delivered to us by friendly staff members. We wandered the indoor seating as well, which was beautifully done with different sizes and styles of tables for all types of groups. Food was delicious and the atmosphere top notch. This would be a great place for large groups, small groups, families, business meetings, lunch with a friend or two... I would highly recommend this place if you're in Louisville!

Yelp
Very cheerful greeting. Staff is very friendly! The place seamed hipster upon entering, but then once seated it's more casual pizza pub style. You order at the table using your phone, which I usually don't like but it was easy to use. I'm NOT a bear drinker but their cocktails are phenomenal! We started with the Hummus and it was fantastic! If you're even remotely interested, get it, you won't be disappointed! We had the Classic Pizza to share and it was soooooo good! And yes we did get dessert! The cookies are fantastic! I really like cookies but these were a level above! All in all.......go here!!!!

Yelp
Great wood fired pizza and the beer we had was good as well. Service is interesting. We hadn't been here before so we weren't quite sure what to expect. You order the food at your table from a QR code and then get your own plates and other things. Staff seemed kind of indifferent to us being there. I'd give it another try knowing more about how they operate.
