The 24 Best Things to Eat at Universal Orlando Resort | Eater

"This whimsical chocolate-dunked vanilla ice cream bar fits perfectly among its Seussian surroundings, and the ice cream shop serves it frozen so it won’t disintegrate in the sun." - Carlye Wisel

Ehhhh is how I felt about the ice cream sandwiches with captain crunch. It tasted very stale. My husband loved it however. So take it could go either way. Kiddos like the cookie and just a regular chocolate waffle cone.

Un hygienic products, arrogant sales people and lack of respect. We took some ice creams and couple of them have hair in it and m kids went to counter to report and show that and the sales lady took for checking and thrown in trash can and speak with my minor kids harshly. Might not know that I am recording the conversation in my phone. We are not asking for refund or something but want to warn them to thoroughly check before selling the stock to others. Anyone with senses never behave this bad with minors and I may report this to NYC authorities in 311.

If you're in Seuss Landing and looking for ice cream, this is really your only option. The ice cream itself was fine, nothing unusual or spectacular, but the service certainly could be better. The line wasn't very long, but it was taking a very long time to handle each customer. From what I could tell there were only two people working inside: one person taking orders and payment, and the other preparing the ice cream. Definitely a missed business opportunity since I witnessed multiple people give up on the line while I waited.

Hop on Pop is located in the adorable Seuss Landing on Islands Adventure side. It can be most remembered for its advertisement of a sundae on a stick, and this is certainly what had me pining after it for months. Unfortunately it seems to be only open at certain times. Or maybe it was just due to covid, but it was conveniently not open several times I visited the park and wanted to stop there. But finally it was open a few weeks ago and I got my sundae on a stick! I have to say, the built up anticipation made it all the sweeter (pun completely intended). It’s a very simple treat, so don’t be expecting something fancy. But that’s why I loved it! You can get a chocolate covered ice cream bar with sprinkles or nuts. Nothing more or nothing less. I just loved this cold treat and sitting in the colorful land of Seuss. You can get an actual regular sundae or a cone as well. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that the worker was not the least bit kind and I think the only words she spoke to us were to tell us how much we needed to pay. I can’t give 5 stars to poor service like that but it is what it is. *shrugs*

This was my birthday weekend and first visit to Universal Studios. I decided to stop and treat myself and family to icecream. After standing in line for a short while I finally reached the front window. This being my first time at the Hop On Pop ice cream shop I decided to ask a question. That was the wrong thing to do because the response I got from the representative was a rolling of the eyes and a sigh. Her attitude just threw me through a loop. I have been working with the public for over 25 years and I have never treated anyone the way she treated me that day. If this is the kind of person you have representing your company they should not be working there. I had no idea asking a question with a smile with get me that response. Out of the four days that I spent in Orlando Florida I was not treated the way she treated me by anyone. I will make sure not to recommend your establishment to anyone as your representatives are not trained well and cannot work with the public. Very very unhappy customer!
