The Best Microbreweries Near Montreal | Eater Montreal

"Installing itself into the former train station in Coaticook — a building that dates to 1904 and remains the largest roundhouse-styled railway station in Quebec, this microbrewery specializes in oak barrel-aged beers in addition to a more regular offering. A lovely terrasse makes it a really nice option to spend a few hours." - Daniel Bromberg

We've reserved the table for our group 3 days before coming, and when we arrived on reserved time, we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated because they forgot about our reservation. The beer is good though and the atmosphere is unique. The service personnel is friendly and tried to accommodate us well. The food comes from a food truck outside and is not the best. The fries was over-fried in old oil.

So good! We hit this brewery after riding the Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook and could not have made a better choice. I got the pulled pork tacos with freshly made tortilla chips and lime sauce with poutine to die for. The saison Brett beer was 7%, crisp and delicious…just what I needed after a big ride. The music was funky and well curated. And the staff was friendly and attentive. The 3 we spoke with spoke English well and allowed us to attempt our best French before helping us in our own language. A must if you’re in the area. Salud!

Sweet selection of beers & the Taco Truck was a nice bonus. Fun outdoor atmosphere by the tracks and the old station house had a neat eclectic ambiance. Definitely recommend a sample flight of beers just to get an idea of the selection, but everything we tried was enjoyable. Be careful with the self-service water at the bar, just 1 or 2 pumps will suffice, lol. Nice place to unwind after a hike in Gorge!

Their beer and setup are great but the food must be improved. We ate tacos, Quesadillas, and nachos but the chicken needs a lot of improvements in quality and taste. The vibe and setup and beer were perfect though.

The diverse beer selection featured delicious and unique flavor from the malt and hop balances to compliment each style. The taco trio and chips from the food truck also featured great flavor combinations. The bartender was very knowledgeable and eager to talk about the beers. She also arranged a flight in a suggested order to best enjoy each flavor.

Loved this place and the history of the punks. Yummy beer. Just switched over to winter-seadon menu when we arrived so Taco truck was closed.
