"HopCat is continuing its expansion efforts throughout metro Detroit with the opening of a location at 17800 Haggerty Road in Livonia. West Michigan-based hospitality group Project BarFly says in a media release that the company is currently looking to hire about 100 workers to fill both front and back of house positions. Folks who are interested in applying can do so online or by texting BarFly to 85000. An exact opening date has not been announced, however, the company says the spot is expected to fling open its doors sometime in July in the space that formerly housed taking Claddagh Irish Pub, which closed permanently in 2019. The Livonia location will accommodate 315 customers, feature booth seating and a wrap-around bar, arcade games, two outdoor patios, and a private event space for up to 45 guests." - Serena Maria Daniels

Google
Good selection of local brews. Only saw a couple beers over 8%. Founders KBS was great; a few more heavy dark beers would be fantastic. Good food selection. The real rice in the bowl dishes was very tasty. Fries are amazing. Fish dinner was a good portion and lightly breaded.

We stopped in for Thursday Happy hour. They offer a wide selection of beers and they have a great Smash Burger special on Thursdays too. I had a Mule which was good. We had chicken chunks and cheese curds. Everything was good. I plan to go back for the special. The decor and music are fun. The dining room is clean and roomy.

Google
We ate dinner here with a party of 7. Our server was quick to take drink and food orders, and checked in often. Unfortunately, most of our food had issues - all 3 appetizers came out cold and very late. Several of the entrees were cold and needed to be remade. The manager was apologetic about the poor experience and reduced the bill. The atmosphere was upbeat, but so loud it was hard to have a conversation.

Google
Delicious food and drinks! The fries were very good as well, nice and crispy. Our waiter was very kind and checked in on us just enough so that we could get a few drinks before our meal. It was a wonderful time.

This was my first time going to hopcat and we chose lunch. Good atmosphere, nice airy space. It also has a game room and judging by the crowd, it looks family friendly too! Service was warm and friendly and food arrived quickly, we were briefed about what is the specialty and what sells most. Overall food tasted good and hit the right flavors. Nice addition to the already busy area for restaurants but I am sure if they continue with good service and food they will easily stand out.

Google
Stopped by on a Thursday night. Nice spacious location with plenty of parking. Good selection of Michigan beer and several barfood options on the menu. The food was good, not amazing. A bit on the saltier side. I tried the build your own old fashioned but the bourbons I wanted from the menu were out and needed to upgrade. Overall we had good experience, I'm sure we will be back.

Atmosphere was amazing, The Server was very kind and didn't wait that long for the food to come to my table. I still haven't had a terrible experience at a hopcat and don't think I ever will.

Google
I am usually a huge HopCat fan, however today there were so many issues. I was excited to pick up food. I ordered several items…and then put in a side order of onion rings. The side order was brought first. I’m glad that I checked…they were pretzel bites. Next, it turns out my original order was never submitted due to a glitch. I purposely went inside, rather than ordering online to avoid issues. The food was brought out without the drinks, silverware, etc. The food looked good, except for the onion rings. For this to be a replacement order, I expected it to be fine. The order I was given was burnt on almost everyone one. The hostess was apologetic and nice. I wasn’t offered anything for all of the inconveniences and additional time spent waiting for these issues to be resolved. This was the place we selected for a quick, car date before picking up kids. It was unfortunate that there were so many issues.

Yelp
Went for brunch with a friend from out of town. As we walked in we were greeted straight away by a friendly hostess. The restaurant is clean, bathroom was clean but had an awfully powerful sewage odor. We had Christmas brunch spiked hot chocolates which were delicious! (I might have had 2!). The brunch menu isn't huge, but it's a nice selection. I had a biscuit with sausage, egg, cheese, and aioli with home fries - it was good, the sausage was a little peppery. Friend had "good gravy" and loved it. Our server was great, too!

Yelp
Hopcat has been a go to for years. Their fries are too good, Cosmik Fries are a must have always! They've really elevated their cocktail offerings in the last few years, everything has been delicious. I tried their espresso martini last visit, Presto Espresso...SO GOOD. Their Mac and Cheese was phenomenal and way more filling than anticipated. My only complaint would be the to go containers. The compostable boxes are not pasta friendly and most of the box ended up getting stuck in the food when reheating. This is a great spot to meet up with friends. Despite being known for their adult drinks, they're very kid friendly and the arcade is a great way to keep kids entertained while waiting on food.

Vikash K.

Yelp
Really enjoy coming to hop cat and happy they opened one much closer. Nice size drink and cocktail menu . Their Special grilled cheese with apple and honey is amazing and a great vegetarian option Great tasting burgers.

Yelp
I am much older than the normal demographics and been eating out as long as those in it been on earth so I was not impressed and so was my brunch lunch eating out group. The food was average at best especially the Mac and Cheese I had. Another complained that the bacon on her sandwich was under cooked. Only was the fries was a hit. Service was below average by not coming back enough to check on the table and also had to remind about refills and take home boxes. A star was taken off for that. I always take off a star off for Pepsi products instead of Coke products. While it is easy to get to and plenty of parking, I won't be back. I have been to this chain for 3 times. Don't need to come again.

Yelp
This is my favorite HopCat location in Michigan. The interior is spacious with fun stone, castle-like elements. This space used to belong to an Irish restaurant - much of its interior was kept when they converted it into a HopCat. The burgers and fries are always on point. The Cosmik fries (formerly crack fries) are a must-try here. The salads are also decent. This is a great location to hang out with a group of friends at. Service is quick and friendly. Love HopCat, will definitely be back!

Yelp
Now that I have been here about 4 times, I wanted to share some thoughts. I like Hopcat! The large spaces open and bright with many windows. There is very nice outdoor seating and I have to mention that the bathrooms were updated well and they are cared for. I have ordered mostly apps, burgers and the fish and chips! I really do enjoy the fish and chips with the crispiness and the generous portion and what seems like homemade tartar sauce! Very good! the onion rings are fried to perfection and the pretzel nuggz are a nice shareable. The burgers are very good! Juicy, flavorful and many ways to order with different cheeses and various toppings. Each time I have visited Hopcat, the service has been splendid! I have also brought a large group and the service did not suffer, it was quite efficient. I will continue to return here. It's very pleasant.

Yelp
Weeks before the announcement, a friend and I were discussing potential replacements for Claddagh, left empty since Dec 2019. I loved Claddagh and will miss its fish and chips and Reuben sandwiches. I thought either Jolly Pumpkin or Hopcat would be a good replacement given the interest in microbreweries. I was pleased to see that Hopcat would open up even though I've never been to any of its locations - I guessed right! I waited impatiently for the opening and was in the neighborhood (at Mitchell's) when the soft opening was taking place. Like everyone else, I had heard about the fries and was eager to try them. The restaurant was partially full when I arrived after the lunch rush but there was still a wait. A slight one for me but others had longer ones. Whereas Claddagh was very dark and had numerous rooms, as expected of an Irish pub, Hopcat is bright and cavernous. Garage doors at the front open up to a patio. Despite the sunny, summer day, the doors were not open nor was anyone dining out. A bar is at the center of the main dining area. It had the requisite TVs and was surrounded by numerous high tops. Booth seating was available along the sides of the space. Along the perimeter of the restaurant are low tops. There is another room in the back. I ordered the elotes to start. I love elotes and was excited to try this restaurant's version. I found it to be very dense, overcooked even, tasting more like a flourless corn cake, than a dip. I did not enjoy it. I also thought the fries were overrated. The seasonings on them were tasty but the fries were a bit dried out. The burger, however, was delicious. There were 8 on the menu, including vegan and turkey. I went with the Hangover Helper which included a perfectly fried egg, lovely bacon strips, and a hash brown. Hash brown, oh, happy days! I also ordered mac and cheese as a side. I didn't see it on the menu but my server indicated it was available. The cup of mac was coated in a savory cheese sauce and quite yummy. I liked the server. I thought she was pleasant and informative and I noted that she hopping. There seemed to be a lot of people hanging around the hostess stand but not a ton of servers throughout the restaurant.

Yelp
The food never disappoints. The service is quick and this location has a very cool ambiance. There's a cool game room and basketball game. Great hangout spot for friends

Josie V.

Yelp
Great food and beer! The constant rotating beer menu is nice, there's always something new to try! The food is great and the happy hour deals are unbeatable. Cozy interior with a great ambiance. Everyone here is always so friendly and helpful.

Nicole H.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere in this HopCat!! I've been to the Royal Oak, Detroit and East Lansing one and I think this one might be my new fav. We sat at the bar and ordered food up there as well. We really loved our bartender Jeremy! So personable & friendly. Side note I really wish the cheese ale soup would make a come back

Eid F.

Yelp
Overall cool place to grab a burger and beer with friends or family. Good for small or big groups. Service was really good and burgers were great. Ordered a Hopcat Mule (Pitcher)... not much alcohol and very sweet. We were seated in the medieval looking room with fake fireplace on the tv above the real fireplace and stain-glass windows. Not sure what the theme here was but didn't fit in with the rest of the vibe in the place... maybe I'm wrong??? I'd definitely come back for another round. The bar looked really cool with awesome barstools. I'll have to try it out next time. Was this helpful?

Gab D.

Yelp
First time at this location and it was great! Arrived around 4 on a Saturday and were able to be seated right away for a booth for four people. Our waitress greeted us quickly and grabbed our drink orders. She was very attentive through our dinner as well. We ordered the grilled chicken caesar wrap, tropic like it's hot tacos, Nashville hot wings, jerk boneless wings, and space curds. Everything was so delicious! I am not a fan of cheese curds but my family loves them and these were awesome! The sauces and dressings were all very flavorful and the cheese sauce with our cosmik fries came out piping hot! Overall great experience!

Alex T.

Yelp
Another solid HopCat location. The food is always good and service was solid. Exactly what I have come to expect. I'm still partial to the East Lansing one, but I'm glad to have one just down the street from me. This is a great spot to catch up with an old friend, catch a game, or just have some great food. A valid successor to the old Irish pub that once occupied the building.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Long time hopcat fan. Legit burgers. Good apps. The new menu revamp is great- aside from the fact they got rid of my favorite spicy mustard! Beer selection is unparalelled.

Stacy K.

Yelp
I had a nice time here. It is a newer location, and it is very nice. I like the layout and the outdoor seating. it is in a nice area where you do not need to worry about parking. The people working here seemed nice and helpful. I ordered from their Happy Hour menu. I got an M-43 which was pretty good and a meowgarita, which was pretty good. The Happy Hour prices were not bad. There was not too much on there as far as food goes, but I did try the fries. They tasted flavorful, crispy, and fresh. The dipping sauce was good. It was a fun place to meet friends. I did not really look at the normal menu and I do not know if they offer flights, which I like. I did see that they do have brunch, which I love, but I did not look at the brunch menu to see if they have any mimosa specials which I love. I will probably be back, maybe with friends.

Yelp
Erika was our bartender for Thursday happy hour. She was great. Our party of 20 was seated on time. Server was EXCELLENT! They explained how gratuity was included and I think amost everyone tipped extra, she rocked! I don't recall her name though. The manager came over to thank us for coming in. I shared cosmic fries with a friend at the bar. For our entree we shared chicken nacho business. SO FULL OF FLAVOR! I highly recommend this spot!!

Joseph G.

Yelp
Lets start with great service by Jenna! Comfortable dining chairs. A huge square bar in the center, a outdoor patio for when weather permits! My wife had the BBQ boneless wings chicken breaded boneless chicken wings tossed in your choice of sauce. served with celery & buttermilk ranch or bleu cheese dressing. I think she got breaded white meat instead but it was all good! Her side order of CAESAR SALAD was good but way too many croutons. My son had the fish and chips that are hand-dipped beer-battered whitefish. Apparently it was delicious as it quickly disappeared off his plate. He liked the served with house made coleslaw too. I tried the cowboy hamburger . A double stacked Hamburger Marvel that would give the Eiffel Tower a run for its money. Yes, a little too tall to eat with any dignity but if no one's looking it sure is delicious. Don't walk out without trying those beer-battered fries with signature cracked black fries . For $7.50 they give you just a few though.

Yelp
3.75? But that's not a thing, so we'll round up to 4. Having been to a few other HopCats, this place wasn't quite up to par for me. I was sure to wait until the local hype had died down and have visited twice now. The first time we went for brunch. The food was good and about what you'd expect. The service was also fine. Nothing special, but nothing particularly wrong either. The second visit was for a Friday afternoon happy hour. This was less impressive. (HopCat - Why do you not have any Friday Happy Hour specials? Come on now.) When I wandered in, it took 5 minutes to get noticed by the seating host. This place was not busy at all. Instead, when the seating host finally noticed I existed, I realized she hadn't noticed because her back was to the door and she was talking to a friend. Not a great look. I can appreciate when things are slow, chatting with some coworkers, but at least be ready when you're needed. Otherwise? Service was slow. Slower than it should have been when the restaurant was only half-full (including the outdoor areas). The servers all seemed friendly and earnest enough, but also didn't seem that invested in it. This place could do more, but the overall vibe is- Meh. The great beer selection and menu are going to keep this going, but something's just not clicking for the atmosphere.

Corbin O.

Yelp
We all know everyone comes here for the fries, well and probably the draft beers. Our waitress though was the superstar of the visit this time. She was very kind, speedy, and attentive. She really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience! Back to the food! We had the cosmik fries with cheese sauce which is always a staple. Along with that we had boneless wings (fire, and plain), and lastly the hangover burger which was phenomenal.

Shelby A.

Yelp
A lot of my love for this spot has to do with the love of the spot in GR when I was in college, so I was definitely predisposed to love it! But we came two days in a row after checking it out for the first time this week! Happy hour here is amazing, and between 3-6:30 pm. Thursdays they have a burger deal that is AWESOME. The smash burger was very tasty, and they have an awesome selections of cheese to pick, too. Our server first first day was Erin, and she was absolutely amazing. Definitely on top of everything and was ready with great suggestions. The nachos are also AMAZING. We will for sure be back for happy hour frequently.

Judy N.

Yelp
We had a great time at HopCat and are so excited it opened close by. We came on the Monday on opening day and sat at the bar. The bartender had awesome recommendations and was very attentive. The drink menu is huge (several Hazy IPAs to choose from). My hubby had the Chipotle Melt and enjoyed the Cosmic Fries. The sandwich was flavorful but not too spicy. We came again with a large group and they were accommodating with awesome service (the restaurant was SO FULL too!). The supper club was good but needs a bit more flavor imo but overall would order again. The salad was large enough to share with someone else and I enjoyed dipping the chicken in the BBQ sauce which added a lot of flavor. I think they did a great job especially on a busy Friday evening. This place is an awesome addition to the area!

Stephanie A.

Yelp
All I can say is the food was delicious and hot to the table. But the service SUCK!! How can you have 4 different people bring your food. We sat from 3:45pm until 6:30pm because we did not see our waitress for a hour. Excuse me where were you for a hour. Table was barely cleaned of dishes. We would pile the dishes neatly on the table and hope they would take them NOT THEY SAT YHE WHOLE TIME!!!! No tip from me. It was 4 of us eating and service was a zero. The food was good but I won't be back due to poor service. Train the wait staff efficiently.

Danielle D.

Yelp
Nicer ambiance in comparison to the one in Detroit and the one in Ann Arbor. Service has been fair everytime I've dined in here. Food's good. Disappointed they discontinued the poutine fries though.

Andrea B.

Yelp
My husband and I were pretty excited for this to open, as that area has been missing something exciting for a while. I happened to see that you could make a reservation on open table, and we headed to the restaurant. Once we got there, it was kinda quiet and I maybe didn't even need the reservation, but I told them I did a reservation online and the girl at the desk quickly responded with, "We don't do open table." Well, I'm not one to argue, so I just said, we needed a table for two. The girl continued to say they don't do call ahead either, and next time I better not count on that. Ok. Thanks. I again, did not argue, but someone there should look into it, because you are on Open Table. Other than this weird interaction, the staff was all pleasant and friendly. The reason you probably should go to Hop Cat is the alcohol. Beer selection is great. You can't go wrong if you're a beer connoisseur. Food is what I'd call your traditional pub fair. A lot of burger selections, sandwiches, some salads, and of course some appetizers. Our food was good. The burger was pretty huge, and we definitely had to hit those fries they all talk about. I definitely think it's a fun spot for drinks and great spot for a cold beverage.

Lionel B.

Yelp
The 4 stars is for the design of the restaurant, the location, and two dishes: the Madtown Grilled Cheese sandwich (dill havarti, smoked gouda & muenster cheese on sourdough w/ apple slices, garlic aioli & honey. Comes w/ cup of roasted red pepper gouda bisque) and the slice of Reese's Chocolate Pie (dark chocolate and peanut butter mousse topped with Reese's PB cups, drizzled with bourbon caramel sauce & dark chocolate syrup) The other food is okay. The Bar Zee Dbl Smashburger is good. The over-hyped fries are okay. What is terrible is the service. The service here is utterly horrible. So just get carry-out. Or sit outside on the beautiful patio and have low expectations about how genial and attentive the servers will be and you'll be good.

Winter W.

Yelp
First time at hop cat. We went for brunch and it wasn't busy at all. All staff are dressed like they just got out of bed. Sweats. Crocs. Mismatched socks. Hoodies. Dirty hair. No uniforms. We heard about the cosmo fries and had high expectations but they're just okay. We ordered a breakfast wrap and that was pretty good. We also ordered the hippie hash and that was okay. They messed up our order but they made a new one. We had to ask for ketchup and water refills. The service wasn't good.

Kathleen M.

Yelp
When we walked in, we were greeted warmly by a host who told us we were welcome to seat ourselves anywhere in the bar area. We sat down at a high top, and after about 5 minutes of not seeing a server, we moved to the bar. (And we had no problem with that, figuring the servers were spread thin.) We received very poor service at the bar. The bartender made it clear that he was irritated with having to serve customers (and it was an hour before close). He ignored us, sprayed very foul-smelling cleaning solution near where we were seated, and acted put upon when we asked for plates and silverware with our appetizer. He couldn't have made it clearer that having to take care of customers was interrupting his priority of finishing the bar's final cleaning of the night. We later realized that the poor service was also likely due to the staff who were standing around kibbitzing with a group of very drunk, loud and vulgar patrons across the bar from us. We were starting to come here more regularly; we have no plans to return. If there was a manager working tonight he/she/they needs to learn how to manage.

Kristen G.

Yelp
Its only day 3 since their grand opening, so I anticipate I will be back eventually and able to give more stars! When we came in it was over an hour wait for a table for 2, we decided to stall the bar and found seats immediately, which was good because we were starving. Our drinks came quickly, while waiting for food we overheard the man next to us had been waiting 45 mini fire for his fish and chips. When our food showed up we had to wait a while for someone to have a chance to get us silverware. My husbands burger was missing bbq sauce that I was supposed to come on it. I asked for the Nashville hot sauce on the size of my chicken sand which and I was sure glad I did because it was hotter than HOT! However my cheese sauce for the fires was MIA. Our sauces come out quickly once requested. I enjoyed my chicken sandwich but my husband felt that the Pattie's on his burger were frozen quality rather then handmade, he also didn't enjoy the brisket on his fries, which WARNING was and extra $5!!! It was clear they are busy, and overwhelmed, we will be back eventually, but for now we are going to wait until they can work out some of these kinks!

Maysa Z.

Yelp
Service was good until the end when our waiter disappeared for like 10+ minutes. We wanted another round of drinks but by the time he came back we were just done. The Elote cheese dip is SO good . The cosmic fries are amazing ! The grilled cheese was overrated in my opinion, and i would never ever get that Mac and cheese again. I will be back to try a burger though!!

Brianne C.

Yelp
I've never seen a restaurant refuse to serve food to a patron before. My 13yr old wanted chicken tenders and was refused because she wasn't 12. AYKM??? Adults can like chicken tenders too, just up charge it if you have to. Seriously mind boggling, I don't think we will be returning.

Greg G.

Yelp
My bad regarding the condition of the food after seeing the predicted wait for delivery. Maybe the burgers taste ok if you're eating at the restaurant. Driver's bad for failing to leave all the items in my order. Door dash added an additional $5 tip!

Ron T.

Yelp
We stopped for a 2nd try at HopCat! High top table in the bar area...1 of 8 with no customers. Got a beer...ordered food....30 minutes later no food yet. Then the wife says...I'm done let's go. Here's our order. Fish and Chips... house salads! Nothing fancy.? We won't be back!

Kimberly S.

Yelp
Mom and I have been twice, and both times really enjoyed ourselves. Both times our servers were fantastic. Really genuine and attentive, with some great recommendations on food/drinks. The elote queso is a fun appetizer. I usually get the tacos with just corn. My mom got the grilled cheese on our second visit and was absolutely in love. We went when the Lions were playing and it was a fun, positive vibe. It's a bit of a drive out of the way for us, so not a regular stop, but definitely someplace we'd go back to when we are in the area.

Joseph R.

Yelp
I order their lobster dip and asked for no chives and it came out with chives in it i asked my waitress for a new one and she had brought me another one with chives in it. Then my girlfriend food came to our table 15 minutes after had received mine. Do not think this place is anything special.

GG M.

Yelp
Waited until a few weeks after the grand opening to check this spot out. We were greeted right away by the friendly host and got a table right away for lunch. I dig the decor and atmosphere here a lot! Not a big fan of the beyond burger at all, but the tacos, sides and drink made up for that. Will definite head back to try more of what this place has to offer

Pamela H.

Yelp
The hamburger I got was very good unfortunately, the mac & cheese was not to my liking. It tasted like it came out of a box. Just different types of noodles. Service was okay a little busy at the time so understandable. I thought it clean and very nice and comfortable. Prices a bit high but that may be due to the area we were in.

Michael M.

Yelp
Okay I get why they were called Crack Fries once upon a time. First time here, and the place is an exceptional redo for the old Claddagh restaurant. Most of the walls and booths are removed. The food is exceptionally well done traditionalist bar fare. The fries are stupendously addictive. I mean I left an hour ago and I'm already craving more. My left eye is twitching and I'm thinking "Cosmik Fries" out loud in languages I don't speak. Not bad!

Derek D.

Yelp
Food, atmosphere and service were excellent. Great to have a location down the street.

Jameta B.

Yelp
The hubby and I tried the new location and we enjoyed our meals and drinks. He ordered the Supper Club sandwich and I ordered the Tropic Like Its Hot chicken tacos. To start, both were pretty dry. I ordered a side of aioli and chimichurri sauce which took both of our dishes up several notches! The cosmic fries were delicious; hot, crispy on the outside. Four stars out of 5 because service was not as consistent as I would like. I'll chalk this up to opening week kinks. I'm sure we will return to this location, so they will have ample opportunity to earn the additional star.

Brooke B.

Yelp
Wow can't believe cold cold fries taste like they were cooked maybe a couple hours ago chili is watery and didnt recive my loaded fry i can't believe this is my first and last time ordering from here nice to know they dont care because your not in the store too realize.

Susan T.

Yelp
Sunday brunch at hopcat started out promising with a friendly waitress but sadly after ordering it went downhill. we watched as table after table that arrived after us received delicious looking food. finally a manager told us due to a glitch our order never printed out in the kitchen. when our food came out it a was one dish at a time but while my 2 friends were enjoying their food I was still without food, a fact that surprised our waitress. when my food finally made it to the table my friends were halfway thru their meals, my meal was cold and my scrambled eggs congealed and missing toast which i didn't have the heart to ask for. we were each given a discount on our bill but overall very disappointed in our visit

Alexx F.

Yelp
service isn't great. the food though, is awesome! cool vibe in there too. drinks are good.

Jessica P.

Yelp
My husband and I were excited to see Hopcat open close to home! We went here on a Thursday I believe and they had a great deal going where you could get a beer, fries, and a burger for $8! Can't beat that! His burger and fries were good- what makes this 4 out of 5 stars is that it didn't come prepared like we asked. He didn't want onion or pickles and it came with that. Pretty annoying when that's the only thing we asked to be different. When we sent it back they decided to just take it off and bring us back the same burger. There's a reason my husband asks for them off so it was quite disappointing for him to still taste it on his food. He ended up having to eat it without the bun. Now my salad was delicious and I would get it again. It's seasonal so I'm not sure if it's there now but I loved the mix of fruit, greens, chicken, and dressing. It all complimented one another well.

Joshua C.

Yelp
I enjoy the Thursday happy hour BYOB burger the fries are fantastic with the cheese sauce

Melissa K.

Yelp
I have gone 3xs already. 2 soft opening days and the Grand Opening. I love how they opened up the previous Irish pub while still keeping the Lazy Susan table and the fireplace room. Tons of outdoor seating. The service was excellent, better than expected for a huge place with all new hires. Obviously everyone loves their Cosmik fries. I am vegetarian and can't get enough of the Madtown Grilled Cheese. I also added vegan chorizo to the nachos and they were outstanding. Even my carnivore husband thought they were good! Best kept secret: no wait for their brunch because most people don't know they have it. Breakfast places nearby have 1-2 hour wait- pass. I'll take their simpler menu with no wait.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my visit to HopCat! I had the Killer Mac and Cheese and my friend has the Rodeo Clown (their new burger) and wow was I impressed with the food! We ended up splitting the food between both of us and it was an great meal. Next time I come back I will definitely get the burger with a side of the killer mac. The overall ambiance in the restaurant is a hype bar type style restaurant, perfect for young adults who want to get out for the night. It's a very popular place for sure. Overall, we had a great time and we look forward to coming back.

Yelp
One of the best burgers I've had in a while. Fries were exquisite. Great drink selection and friendly staff. Waited about a half hour for food but the restaurant was packed so I understand. There was a fly that kept buzzing around my ear that I eventually squashed. Overall good experience and will for sure be returning for their happy hour specials.

Yelp
I went to hopcat so I could check it out because it's new. I thought that since it's new that it would take forever to get my food, the service was actually really quick. The restaurant was really nice and it was clean. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
I ordered the Chicken Cesar Salad - chicken was very dry. Ordered a second Tito's Vodka and Soda Water - I was given pure Soda Water (our waitress addressed it). My hubby had the tacos and the burger special - he was pleased with both. We completed our meal and was about to order more drinks but our waitress brought our bill without even asking if we were done! Side note: There were yellow jackets flying around inside. (I am allergic to them so thankfully I brought my EPI Pen "just in case".) Also, it was hard to tell who worked there. No dress code or way to identify them.
