Loved this place. I got the Mother Nature and shared the Parmesan truffle fries which were amazing. I also got the house frozen margarita which was very tasty. Food came out hot and fast which is always a plus. Burger was cooked perfectly.

What a great place to eat! If you like burgers, fries, milkshakes, and chicken sandwiches- this place is worth a try. My family’s from Cleveland so needed a place to try. This place did not disappoint. My wife and one son got a burger and loved them. My other son got a chicken tender kids meal- and he enjoyed that too. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. It was big and very juicy. We shared one order of fries and it was almost enough for the 4 of us. My wife bought a beer- it came in more of a goblet than a typical beer glass- it seemed pretty big. And finally we got a milkshake. It wasn’t the largest shake I ever saw. Of everything, I might not get a milkshake again. It was delicious, but maybe a little small for the price. Definitely recommend!

I absolutely love this Restaurant! If you’re in the mood for a hamburger I highly recommend coming here. The service here is very respectable. I’ve never had an issue with the service here and never had a single mistake on the food I order here. The bar here is pretty good, I don’t normally drink when I go out to eat since I prefer to drink at home with my food. And the food here is incredibly delicious. The burgers here have a lot of flavor, the seasoning for the fries here done just right and the tenders here some of the best I’ve ever tasted. My only issue here is the quality of the fries inconsistent. Sometimes the fries are too soggy, sometimes the fries are too hard or don’t have enough seasoning but for me it’s tolerable and it doesn’t ruin the meal. Props to this restaurant for being near perfection.

Had really high expectations for this place when several reviews claimed that this was the best burger joint in Denver. Unfortunately, I don’t think it made the cut. They overcooked their wagyu burger, which that in itself should be a crime against humanity. I will say though that their Sweet Potato fries and sauce is to die for. I couldn’t get enough of it.

While the bacon jam burger was overly ambitious with its numerous toppings, and the Nutella pretzel shake was cloyingly sweet, I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service, lively atmosphere, and prime location of this establishment. The staff's attentiveness and friendly demeanor made up for the missteps in the kitchen, and the vibrant ambiance and convenient location make it an ideal spot to meet friends or grab a quick bite. With a bit more refinement in the menu, this place has the potential to be a real standout!

The food and atmosphere are wonderful. It is really expensive for a burger and fries. But, delicious. This is the most ADA compliant restaurant I've been to in Denver. The walk areas are wide enough for my wheel chair and no obstacles. The restroom stalls are well sized to get in and out. Only complaint is the restroom door is very heavy and hard to get in and out through.

Burgers were good but smoothies were too sweet. We ordered nachos style fries. We mixed all together, it got too tangy and salty. Service is quick and good. Vegeterian options are available.

Super delicious! Came for lunch with my friend and my dog and had a lovely time! Outdoor patio was clean and organized, and the food was great. Burgers were juicy (but a bit messy) the milkshake was soft and cold, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Great place!

I think Hopdoddy serves some of the best burgers in Denver. Amazing service. Great fries....truffle parm oh my...plus probably the best sweet potato fries I have ever had....nice and crisppy. Great Waygu burger and excellent vegetarian burger. Prices were really reasonable for what you get.

Came in with my 8 year old who loves burgers. The restaurant is really cool. Walk up ordering, an assigned table, huge bar in the middle, TV screens all around. We both got the Classic cheeseburger, mine with bacon, a side of fries, the Parmesan Brussels and two fountain drinks = $48. Not too bad compared to other burger places. You definitely can tell the beef is seasoned differently than other establishments, which K noticed immediately and wasn't really a fan. I thought it was okay. A sweeter taste than normal. On top of that, it was so greasy, he couldn't finish it. We wrapped a napkin around it and it was soaked in grease. However, the Brussels made up for it. We both agree this is one of the best places we've had Brussels. He usually doesn't like the bitterness but there wasn't the strong aftertaste here. It's also just the leaves and are extra fried and super crispy with lots of parmesan on top.

The food was good. The assortment of beverages, alcoholic and not was extensive. Employees were pleasant and friendly and it is a relaxing place to have a meal. Would definitely go back.

I think a burger is such a simple food that I was honestly baffled with how disgusted I was with the burgers here. To have as many locations as they do, I would expect Hopdoddy to make an ok burger. I just got a classic burger with regular fries as my control test - the patty was somehow pink but completely devoid of any moisture, as if it's been frozen for years before cooking. The burger was saturated with so much mayo I had to take some out to make it edible. The fries were dry as well and a bit flavorless - think In n Out fries but worse. The portions were huge but when the quality is that low I really don't want more of it. I also dislike online ordering that requires me to create an account. It completely ruins the convenience factor of online ordering.

Hopdoddy Burger Bar is a national burger chain. They have locations all around the country with most of them residing in Texas. This is their second location in Denver, sitting right off the busy intersection/shopping district of 9th and Colorado Blvd. The wife and I popped in here after an appointment not really knowing what we wanted to eat. This location is well kept and maintained, fairly clean, and lots of seating, including outdoor seating. You order at the counter, are told where to sit (which I thought was odd), and your food is brought out to you. Doddy Melt // two smashed patties, Swiss and American cheeses, caramelized onions, mayo & Comeback sauce on grilled rye bread. I'd say this was good, not great. The incorporation of American cheese was hitting real good, making for ooey gooeyness, but everything else felt a little underseasonsed to bring it all together. I also thought the rye bread (classic for a patty melt which I appreciate) was too overpowering for the burger patties. French fries are hand cut in the restaurant every day. They are served in a gigantic bowl and even for two people you might not be able to split them all. They were indeed crispy, but left a bit to the imagination. The chipotle ketchup had an interesting smokey flavor. The honey mustard sauce slaps, definitely get a few sides of that! I will say, they do try to keep it more local here with Red Rocks murals and local beers on tap. The beers come in a big 20 oz. mug that threw me off guard as it hit the table. Like woahhhh, it's a Monday! Not running back, but maybe they're known for some other burgers and combinations I haven't tried yet!

Awesome burger place IF you love a greasy burger! Our absolute favorite. Love the bacon jam one!! Parmesan fries are great too! Love going here and the service is always great too.

My husband and I recently had lunch here. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. We were a little surprised at how quiet it was given that it was lunchtime, though we split the sweet potato fries and they were outstanding like really good. we also shared a, hot chicken sandwich and another fried chicken sandwich that we just asked for it not to be hot because I wasn't sure how hot was gonna sit on my stomach. The sandwich was good, but it was a definitely a bit greasy. We both liked that one better than the regular one which was just kind of boring, but I mean that's our fault I guess for not having added the hot sauce, however, was really because I felt like I should've just gotten veggie burger last time and was really really good

Tasty burger and fries. DON'T GO IF YOU HAVE ANY FOOD ALLERGIES. The kitchen paid absolutely NO ATTENTION TO THE ORDERS. My entire party stated "no onions". All 4 burgers had onion. My son-in-law has a serious allergy to all alliums, including onions. When he let the server know that, and asked for a new bun that didn't have onions (same burger), she brought out the burger in a new bun -- with onion. He had to take medicine immediately on our return home. Ignoring identified allergies is a terrible thing for a restaurant to do, and to do it twice smacks of serious inattention in the kitchen. We can't return until your kitchen staff can assure us that they will make food as ordered.

My burger, Cadillac Wagyu, and was so delicious I forgot to take a photo! Lady at the register was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately they do not give change, so bring your credit/debit card or exact change! There is a bar in the middle, a condiment station, and delicious lemonade ginger drink!

Stopped by at Hopdoddy for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It's order at the counter kind of place but don't let that deter you because the food is fantastic. The cashier was awesome , good energy and recommended varies items . We decided on an Ahi burger seared to perfection with teriyaki, cucumber wasabi and topped with ginger ..thank me later . Also ordered their sweet potato fries and dare I say it's the best sweet potato fries ever ...hot honey and sage and ask for well done and it was perfection ! Also tried their new green chile fries which were delicious but the sweet potato was our favorite. They had a summer special margaritas for $5 and they are strong and will put hair on your chest delicious. Give them a try , they will not disappoint.

Love this place! Especially during happy hour!! Each month, Hopdoddy releases an exclusive monthly burger. Some of them are a hit, some are a miss - but the February burger, which was a sushi burger, will forever be on my mind until it returns. The food here is really good! I highly recommend El Diablo burger if you're into something spicy! They do not mess around with bringing the heat. Fries are a 10/10, regardless of which ones you order. Everything is delicious. Also, check out the Brussels sprouts! So good. The service here is always great. The staff is so friendly! I've never had a horrible experience with anyone. The drinks pack a punch. It's certainly not your average watered down margarita. They are good. They are strong. They will get you tipsy! I do recommend going during happy hour and sitting at the bar, as everything is 50% off when you sit at the bar, as of today 9/12/2023. This could change. Lastly, I recommend signing up for the rewards and linking your card. You'll get a bunch of rewards like free apps, free burgers, at times you get to try the burger of the month before anyone else. It's great to save you some $$$! Enjoy!

Food was super good and prices were fair. Paid $30 bucks total for two full meals. Word to the wise, their Diablo Burger is HOT so be ready for it. Haha. Food came out REALLY fast. Would definitely come here again if I lived here.

Food is 3.5/10, service is N/A. Honestly not my favorite place to have a burger. $50 for 2 burgers is a HUGE ask especially nowadays. The fact that a burger spot would honestly look their guests in the eyes and tell them that it will run the. An additional $10 for a side of fries is ridiculous. Ambiance of Hopdoddy is ok, not as appealing after getting taken advantage of at the register. I've eaten here twice and will not be back

I enjoy coming here as there is always consistency with their burgers, their bread is off the chain and so is the Vegan patty which I love that is not beyond. I have a service Dog and they always welcome us with a great customer service. Great location and ambiance

We ordered the ahi burger, the Doddy melt and the crispy Brussel sprout leaves. The service was good. You order before you sit down and the guy taking order was fun, as we like to joke around. He played along wonderfully. The ahi burger and the Doddy Melt were delicious. I would order either one again. And I know I will be craving either one in near future. Yummy. However, even though the crispy brussell sprout leaves are exactly what they say they are, I needed more of the brussell sprout itself to satisfy my palate. I like my brussell sprouts crispy, but without the whole brussell sprout to enjoy, I was left with just a salty, burnt taste. While I do like the salty, burnt taste I needed a healthy dose of brussell sprout flavor long with it. Didn't get that. So, I throughly enjoy the Hopdoddy burgers and will be back again soon. But won't be ordering the sprouts. I love that there are plenty of paper towels available at the table. The burgers were delicious and messy. No disappointment there. The bartender was attentive even though we didn't partake in any cocktails. He made sure to check in with us to see that we were taken care of. Good stuff!

I am a fan of the original location near Union Station. We popped in here after a film at the nearby AMC. My burger had a lot going on. Indeed the bacon jam was good, but dominated the flavors. This was the DOUBLE BACON JAM (two 1/4 lb beef patties topped with both white & yellow American cheeses, house-made tomato bacon jam, mustard grilled onions & pickled mayo). In the future, I will probably stick with my EL DIABLO burger (with pepper jack cheese, roasted habaneros & serranos, caramelized onions, salsa roja, lettuce, tomato & chipotle aioli sauce). Service at the bar was very good, and they had some nice beers on tap.

Food decent but seriously overpriced! 4 basic burgers and 2 fries for over $80...like c'mon :( nothing special at all!

This is our go-to burger place and definitely top five favorites! I love the rotating burger-of-the-month. Their shareable fries and brussles are perfect for a group and their milkshakes are a must. They also do chicken exceptionally well! Basically, you can't go wrong no matter what you order! They could improve on drinks at the bar and they do not accept anything other than cards (no cash or third party GC's) but they have a great rewards program. It's definitely a must-try if you've never been!

Hot Damn, it was great. I had the Au Jus burger. It was juicy, moist and mouthwatering good. The price was very reasonable for 12.99. My friend had the Ahi Burger, and he was pleased with it as well. We had just seen a movie and wanted something to eat to top off the night. This is just across the street and down the block. Right next to Colorado Blvd. The service was good. Wasn't to noisy. I will definitely return. Ugh, I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of my burger. Lol.

Nice ambiance, but a little loud. Full bar and a good selection of beers on tap. You order at the counter and then they bring your order to you. My burger was good, but not great. They don't ask you what temperature you want your burger, so it's served well done. The bun was very fresh and warm, but the burger just didn't have the juiciness I was looking for at this price point.

I love the fresh food here! The nacho fries are delicious and are definitely enough for two to share. The fries have a kick because of the seasoning on them but if you don't like that then the queso and sour cream will cool it right down. I got their Diablo burger, wowza this is hot! I love spice but this has to be the hottest burger I've had yet. Cheers to a great place for a quick burger and a alcoholic/non alcoholic beverage!

Hopdoddy Burger Bar was suggested to us as one of the best burgers in Denver. It's a good burger, but if this is the best, I would be very surprised. This is definitely a fast casual environment so you won't be here forever which was a perk. The BBQ ranch French fries came out first. Long before the burgers. This was a little strange to me. I want to eat my hot fries with my burger. We couldn't do that, but the fries are loaded with seasoning. A little salty so I dipped them in the ranch to tone down the salt. The burgers are buttery on a great bun topped just the way we requested. The burger beef was good. Their staff was busy cleaning and making polite conversation. I liked that everyone seemed to care about the restaurant and didn't appear to be just killing time and sling burgers at us. Even the table busser stopped to talk for a second. We would stop again for a solid burger, request the fries to arrive with the burgers and enjoy a quick meal. I also think we need to try a milkshake next time. You know, for science.

Good burgers, nice fries. Ordering at the counter creates something of an impersonal feel and sometimes the person taking the order isn't that friendly. The interior space is large and has an attractive open feel, and the patio is pleasant. Best place in the CO+9 area for a fast casual burger.

The fries here are absolutely amazing! There is only one size and it's HUGE. It comes in a big metal bowl and there are so many unique flavors. I had the hot honey and sage sweet potato fries and they were fire. Spicy, yet sweet and oozing with flavor. I appreciated that they had a veggie burger and it was huge! The black bean and corn veggie patty was wholesome and flavorful. Accompanied by fresh avocado, pesto and aioli, it was every vegetarians dream.

Great DoddyMelt. Fries are perfect with green chile cheese sauce. Will return many times again!

Overpriced. Greasy. Way too salty. My friends and I came here because we wanted gourmet burgers, but little did we know. Period. We were going to be served sloppy greasy sandwiches! We got the truffle Parmesan fries, which had this weird sour taste to them and they were obviously only single fried. Good french fries are double fried. If I wanted sloppy droopy fries, I'd go to McDonald's. Got the Doddy Melt was bland, no flavor. It was the recommendation of the cashier, horrible recommendation. Way too expensive too. $26 for fries and the melt. Literally just two patties with rye bread. However, the root beer was good.

Full disclosure- I only recently started eating burgers so this was only my fifth one. However, I've had 2 of those 5 at Hopdoddy (not on the same day ) and I can easily say they're the best ones I've tried so far. I discovered that I'm a big fan of "dressed up"burgers-- aka more than just a basic patty + L.T.O. and condiments. Hopdoddy has exactly what I'm looking for! Especially as a #glutenfree foodie. My first burger here was the Llano Poblano. That was probably my favorite so far. It's very savory but the sauce is very slightly sweet and tastes amazing. The burger is cooked to perfection too-- still juicy but not too pink (the way I like it!). This time I had the El Diablo. Don't get me wrong, it was great. However, it's quite spicy for my tastes, which I usually like, but wasn't as in the mood for as I thought I'd be. So just keep that in mind when ordering. Both burgers were made gluten free and I have to point out the gluten free buns are 10/10 good. Good gf bread is rare to find at any restaurant. Happy it's not just some Udi's bread slapped together.

Great burger combinations, and the fries are incredible. I was introduced to Hopdotty in Austin, where lines are out the door and down the street. It's nice not to have to wait so long in Colorado. It's a counter service restaurant that has assigned seating, kinda merging full service with ordering up front. The atmosphere is clean and modern. The full bar helps wash everything down. The quality of ingredients stands out. I'd really consider 5 stars if the patties were a little bigger.

The service was horrible. A man with an afro and two nose piercings treated us terribly. We asked him questions about the menu and he wouldn't even look at us and just shook his head. I ordered an oreo milkshake and he asked vanilla and i said no oreo and he gave me vanilla. I went to the front to get my correct shake and the other person was kind. But the man with the afro brought the new drink walked past the table, didn't looks at us and set it down, we thanked him and he ignored us. Complete asshole. The food is good but the man ruined the experience.

I was a HUGE fan of Hopdoddy.....HUGE! That was, until I got violent food poisoning. After losing weight due to not able to eat for almost an entire week I decided to look up their restaurant inspections once I wasn't green in the gills to even look at anything suggestive of food. Well, wow....that explains it all. They didn't pass their food inspection and it was literally everything I had consumed (burger, no bun over salad that had unwashed vegetables). I see they have not been able to pass yet another inspection since not passing the previous one in Sept 2022 and then failing again on 11/08/22. Reading the investigators comments makes me sick! How is it that a food establishment with reported foodborne illness continues to carry on unsafe practices that could cause serious illness? OK food was very salty. Wait staff were nice and friendly. Burger week special were sliders, not cooked through very pink. No reason to go back when you can get a better deal cooked correctl.

Very pricey but very good. Can definitely tell the good is fresh and the fries were delish. I took off one star because it was VERY expensive. But we will be back if we're in the neighborhood

The burgers were excellent and taste so good and very so filling. Huge portions size and patty was one of the amazing thing. So well-seasoned and very flavorful stuffing. The Hot Honey fries was good and so tasty too. Drinks were cool especially the beer. Decent place with pretty casual food. Great vibe inside.

Two words: Doddy Melt. So juicy, flavorful, and big enough to split between two people. Their truffle fries are also delicious.

Super impressed with this little joint! Driven by it several times and finally gave it a try. We didn't realize it was fast casual when we went. We ended up getting the chicken Caesar salad and the double bacon jam burger. The salad was so refreshing and also huge. The burger was also delicious and the fries were great too! We both decided this beats park burger!

This is a great burger place albeit not cheap. They have a variety of burgers with lots of alternative Pattie's for vegetarians or individuals who don't want beef. If you want something a little healthier they can turn any burger option into a a salad which is a pretty neat idea. What really shines for me is their fries. The hot honey and sage fries were delicious as long as you can handle some spice. Their milkshakes are great too. You order at the front counter and then they tell you where to sit and bring your food to you. They brought out the fries right away, then the burgers just as we finished but may have forgotten about our milkshakes. I wasn't too concerned because we wanted milkshakes as dessert anyway and when I mentioned it the front just to make sure they were still coming, they offered to bring us an extra milkshake or take it off the bill completely and still bring us one which was really great customer service. They were super apologetic and brought us the milkshakes right away. I will be back to try the parmesan truffle fries!

The burgers here are gross premade patties (or at least seem and taste like it). So greasy and unappetizing. Tried it a few times but the taste of the meat is awful. They have other okay items, but you would think a burger bar would have a tasty burger. Not to mention every time I order, my containers are just covered with other random foods and are sticky.

Buffalo Bill, substitute fried chicken in place of the bison. A delicious mess that was borderline too salty, but certainly still acceptable.

The customer service was amazing. I feel like recently it's been hard to find good customer service and Andy was just great overall! He was so kind and nice to everyone, attentive, and so willing to provide great service. The food was also great but the service makes me want to continue going to this location specifically. Came here expecting to get a great Burger with one of their coupons which was buy a burger get a burger. Even though we had a coupon yet it still cost us over $40 for two sandwiches and french fries. The decor is OK. Not sure what they're going for here. It feels like a casual burger bar but the burgers are kind of not good. I had a bison burger that when I took my first bite into it, it tasted like liver. It kind of smells like liver too. I also ordered a vanilla shake and when it arrived halfway through the meal it was a warm and nasty white liquidy, not frozen and cold. As for the service, it seemed like the staff could care less about what they were doing and were just trying to get through their shift. I do not recommend.

Poor service, food was not good, don't suggest! Over priced af. If you like greasy food then I guess this is the place for you.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor dining spots! You order at the counter and they'll assign you a table and bring you your food. LLANO POBLANO - Great if you're looking for some flavor with your burger. I highly recommend upgrading to their bison burger! It was worth the extra $3. NASHVILLE HOT CHICKEN SANDWICH - Spicy and delicious. The slaw went perfectly with it. TRUFFLE FRIES - The perfect amount of truffle. They give you so many fries too! BUFFALO FRIES - If you like buffalo sauce then these fries are for you! Great spot if you're looking for good burgers and fries!

We have been excited to try out this location since it opened. It's been years since I have been to the other one near Union Station so I had a good idea going in on what to expect. What I expected was for them to make me an amazing shake. Although the options seemed limited it was still such a great shake and confirmed my hopes that it would still stand up as one of my favorites. I opted for a regular burger. I wasn't feeling all the extras and just wanted something simple. The meat was medium rare (aka perfect) and the burger was fantastic. On the contrary, my wife felt hers was very greasy and just too much. I think this is one of the risks of getting something with different sauces or toppings. The surprise for me were the BBQ fries. I didn't know my wife ordered them (that was one surprise). The other thing to know is I am not a big fan of fries so to impress takes a bit. But wow! These were off the chart awesome. I loved the kick, the ranch was perfect for dipping but really not needed. The taste was so good that I couldn't help myself from eating them. So good. I liked the ambiance. It's one of the first times we have dined-in in quite some time. I will say I was impressed by the local beer list. I myself didn't have any on this trip but I wouldn't mind coming back again to sit at the bar to have a drink and maybe some of those fries again one day!

This establishment may very well be my new go to for comfort food. The employees make you feel welcome and the place is definitely clean. The food is tasty. The burger I had made it to one of my top fave burgers. On top of it all they give a good military discount!

My friend and I went to Hopdoddy's today, in Colorado Blvd., for a late lunch. OMG The food was delicious. I got a double cheeseburger with cheddar cheese, mustard grilled onions and Mayo. So tasty. My friend ordered a small burger and Loved it. We also got a Large Fry with Fresh Parmesan Cheese and some herbs. They came in a huge metal bowl So Tasty I also got a Chocolate Shake, which was so delicious. My friend and I would highly recommend eating here and will Definitely be back! Also, my understanding is that their "Ahi Burger" and their "Chicken Burger" are some of their most popular items My youngest son recently ate at their location in Austin and had the "Ahi Burger" and raves about it!

They did it again, folks. Less than 48 hours later, I was back at Hopdoddy for the Magic Shroom (sub chicken patty) take-out. I was greeted warmly upon entering, and my little bag was waiting for me (packaged by Monica-- Thank you, Monica)!! The burger was hot and fresh and just super yummmmmm. This place is killing it.
