This is a nice chill bar with plenty of seating and beer options. It is great for a larger group of friends in downtown FW and no planning ahead needed. There’s plenty of different options on tap and my favorite beer was the honey fiesty blonde which was sweeter profile. The fiesty redhead was also nice, tart and light. I loved that there are a bunch of board games and we had a good time playing uno with the friends group. They also have trivia nights and bingo nights on weeknights

Love this bar. Outstanding craft beer. They make beer that works. Creating great beer doesn't have to be difficult. The atmosphere is great, staff and patrons are a reflection of the good in Fort Worth. Did I say good dog friendly? 🐕

Google
They've always had pretty solid beers, but over the last 2-3 years they've been steadily getting better. They have a great selection and it's a great place to hang out. The patio is perfect for a nice day. You can also grab food from any of the restaurants around to enjoy with your beer

This is a big spot! You’re able to get great customer service with a clean environment! KC the bartender was awesome & took the time to interact with customers & answer any question or start up a conversation! Will be back for Karaoke (on Wednesday nights) order food from Big Kat burger from the QR code provided on tables & they bring you the food! 👍🏼🤩

Google
Love coming here because of the patio when it’s nice and the inside when it’s no so nice out. Great selection of IPAs and if you’re really lucky, you’ll catch them when they have Fiesty Brunette on tap. Can also catch some good live music on the weekends as well as a giant projection screen for games and fight nights

Google
This is one of my favorite breweries! The inside is great with lots of games you can borrow to play and the outside patio is wonderful too! We bring the pups here a lot because it is a large space and they can roam a little more than some other breweries (both are under 2 years old so they are curious and excited)! And if you aren’t a beer drinker, they have ciders from Locust Cider there as well!

With so many nice options nearby with way better service I’m surprised on the high ratings here…. Was great weather outside and we sat down on the patio (nice view of downtown) and were never greeted or told by anyone. Used the scan code to order a $15 fight, $1 upcharge on almost all the beers. They were delivered to the table which was nice and The Mexican lager was truly amazing, like literally one of the best beers I’ve had in in a while. The crème brûlée Porter was pretty good too, but the blondes weren’t worth mentioning. The only time we saw an actual person that worked there was the guy who walked up and delivered the beer, looked directly into my soul and said ‘hey’ like he didn’t even see me and then just walked off. No actual friendly greeting or any direction on the order of beers in the flight. Nothing. How is it that a place can ask you to scan and order your own items, barely acknowledge you when it’s delivered and then try and charge you 20-25% gratuity? No thanks. We left without finishing the flight and headed over to the Bearded Lady around the corner which was a much better experience.

Google
Great place If you like beer 🍺 staff is very friendly and prices reasonable! Loads of seating inside and outside (in the sun or shade). Menu is included in pictures. The area seems very artistic as well. You can see some wall art very near by on some pictures! Will deffo come back again!

Yelp
Great place for great beer They host cool events like the Corgi Fest! Lots of infused beers

Robert S.

Yelp
Been to this brewery 6-7 times. Great beers great service and a really killer spot. My go to for introducing friends to Texas craft breweries.

Byron S.

Yelp
We don't get to this side of town often and had some friends recommend this ale house. We had a wonderful experience. During our visit there was bar service only and it became very congested with just two bartenders with the line stretched out the door. Plenty of choices on tap and cans. Enjoyed the options. This is some interesting history of the building with photos posted. We enjoyed our visit and would return.

Pauline J.

Yelp
Love this place. I am not a beer drinker at all, but these fellas brew a couple that I will drink. Hell, I even SAVOR them. Fuzzy Slipper and Coco Anejo are dark, high ACV beers that have hints of chocolate and coffee (and coconut) and wow! Brewers are always friendly and helpful with selections. There's no food here, but you can have some delivered. There's games, sports in the tvs, a nice patio, and sometimes live music. Just s great place to hang with friends or make some new ones.

Karen W.

Yelp
Great patio (there's a plug in the far corner of the patio if you're working) with lots of tables and umbrellas. WiFi is good enough for working. Looks like a nice developing area. Husband and I stopped in to miss the traffic from Dallas on our way to a show at Dickie's Arena. We'll be back!

Jamie C.

Yelp
We have tried (and enjoyed) Hop Fusion beers at various restaurants and festivals. So when my husband and I planned a "stayaction" in Fort Worth, Hop Fusion Ale Works was on our "must do" list. We really enjoyed this brewery! It was just the right ambiance - lots of folks playing board games, watching sports on the giant TVs, or just hanging out. Dogs are welcome both inside and out, and there is plenty of space if your pup is a little shyer than others. Hop Fusion is the perfect place to try a flight. They have lots of unique flavors, and their flights are generous 5 oz pours. I even discovered a new favorite - El Gran Pepinillo - a lager infused with Best Maid pickles and chili arbol peppers! I will definitely be keeping my eye out for this tasty brew when I am out and about!

Kathleen C.

Yelp
Super fun place, trivia host was awesome, airy atmosphere (in and out) and great beer selection!

Jordan C.

Yelp
Cool local brewery in a great location. I was impressed with the beers I had. My favorite was the Feisty Redhead. So drinkable and smooth, yet right under 9%. I appreciated the owner / head brewer giving me a tour, talking to me about the industry, letting me sample a beer that they hadn't released yet and answering any and every question I had. I loved his passion for what he does. It shows in the beer and the setup they have. I always respect a brewer / brewery willing to try different things. I hope one day their distribution expands outside of Texas and gets to us in Florida.

Frank S.

Yelp
Great micro brewery. Local tip... go across the street and order from Coco Shrimp and come over here to eat and enjoy one of endless flavors and styles of beer!

Lon D.

Yelp
I've had a couple of their beers on tap at other bars, but this was my first visit to their Brewery. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Beer flight was amazing...not a bad one in the bunch. A great experience!

Laurie N.

Yelp
They sell a slew of flavored beers: from light to dark IPA. The service was great. The serve allowed us to taste test their menu of beers. He is very knowledgeable on combining unique flavors of Stout. They have outside accommodations and live music on certain days. It has like an urban decor inside. They done make good but you can order from KitKat Burger food truck across my said location. They sell snacks like chips and candy. They also provide board games

Scott B.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed their new Thorny bBlonde Prickly Pear ale. They have a huge projection TV along the entire back wall so this is a good place to catch a big game.

Tyler M.

Yelp
All the beers I had here were pretty basic. All good but nothing great like I found at some other places around Dallas. Plenty of seating inside and good for families. Bartender didn't seem happy when I ordered a flight. Sorry I was an inconvenience. Still a cool place to grab a beer and chill w your family or friends.

Sarah R.

Yelp
Great atmosphere! Wide variety of beers to try. Friendly staff. Beer flight $13 Feisty redhead (hibiscus/cherry blonde), Pom wizard (tangerine/pomegranate gose (my favorite), mi familia (grapefruit lager) and tenant lager (Mexican lager)

Amy Z.

Yelp
Love this place. Beer. Games. Dogs allowed. Great patio when it's not 100 degrees. A+++

Terry M.

Yelp
Great place. Friendly staff the beer selection was very good. Nice big screen tv to watch your sports highly recommend

Troy K.

Yelp
Not a bad place for a beer. Fair selection of their own brews including some infusions you can add to beers. No food options except to order from Black Cat pizza nearby or some other restaurants. Was not particularly comfortable seating. The staff was ok. There was live music that started pretty early. Looks to be good for a group but felt kind of sterile and overall lacked personality

Kori E.

Yelp
This was one of those nights where we went out on a mission to find something new and I am definitely glad we did. I LOVE this place from the moment we walked on the property. Just a perfect place to relax and enjoy company. I will warn there is no food, so just be prepared but we had already eaten. My husband loved the giant screen as he got to watch the cowboy game. They even had live music going. The patio is fantastic too and dog friendly. LOTS of beer and ale choices. We definitely will be back!

Chris C.

Yelp
I cannot say anything negative about The Hop! We love this place and all the great beers they have. Just wish I would have remembered to ask about the DD214.

Anthony E.

Yelp
Cool local brewery, bar, and live music venue. It was our first time to Southside FTW and it's certainly a place you need to go. Lots of cool spots like this place! HopFusion Ale Works has a really cool vibe with a bunch of locals hanging out. They had the Cowboy preseason game on and and two guys singing rock covers and some original songs too. They were very talented! But the story here is the beer. Tons of options for everyone. IPA's, Stouts, Pilsner, whatever your flavor is, they have it! Plus fruit infused beer too. Staff and patrons were all friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed, most people dressed casual. We will definitely be back!

Rachel R.

Yelp
My hubby and I met up with a group of friends last night for a going away gathering. Honestly, they could not have chosen a better venue! Hopfusion offers a ton of seating options, has excellent A/C (because TEXAS), and is dog friendly -- even indoors. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but I had a few sips of Hubby's "Fiesty Blonde" and actually liked it. I can see this being a great spot for us to frequent more often.

Sanatra K.

Yelp
Located in the near historic "South. Side" Fort Worth area of TX , is a classic Brewery and TapRoom. I visited on. Saturday afternoon so you can imagine it was pretty packed. The bar didn't feel overly crowded due to the unique layout of the space. They offer lots of standing room , as well as high tables & bars stools. They even have outdoor seating and are dog friendly. Multiple TV screens surround the room playing sports and news. The vibe was set with some over head music . I even noticed a small stage off the the back of the bar wheee they host open mic nights. The beer was phenomenal. So much great beer to choose from , tons of unique flavors to please every beer drinker. The highlight was the $12 Flight choose up to Four beers . I didn't try the food but I saw someone off to the side destroying a burger that looked delicious. Definitely a spot to try id you love beer

Roberto G.

Yelp
Great selection of beers and live music. Awesome sauce. Definitely a place to visit

Amanda R.

Yelp
We checked out hopfusion when in Ft. Worth. They have a wide variety of beers. We ordered a couple of flights so we could try things out. The dark beers were probably my favorite- which isn't typical for me, but the stouts we tried were delicious! I also enjoyed their fusion- which is different each weekend. This one was a mix of their Mexican lager with kiwi, lime, and red pepper and it was great! You can also order pizza from the pizza place next door- which was incredible! The neighborhood has lots of options for eating/drinking. I would definitely go back!

Joe K.

Yelp
I've been coming to this brewery for years and just enjoy the chill vibe of it. It's open later than a lot of other breweries in the area, which is great. My favorite beer they have right now is Black Gold, an easy drinking oatmeal stout. I used to really like Coco Anejo but Black Gold is just soo good, I usually leave with a crowler in hand. They have Brix Barbecue across the street which I have never managed to hit when it's open!!

Jack G.

Yelp
I'm not a beer guy but I'll drink hop fusion beer any day! Been in Fort Worth a while and this is easily my favorite brewery in town thanks to quick service, friendly staff, and my personal one and only favorite selection of local beers. And it's within walking distance of so many good restaurants, definitely recommend this place for a fantastic happy hour or game day gathering.

Dawn H.

Yelp
Such a great place. They have something for everybody. Great variety... and they have non-alcoholic options like fizzy tea and root beer. Seriously, they have something for everyone. Plenty of seating which is great because it's usually HOPping. It's a BYOFood place and with all the tasty restaurants sprouting up on Magnolia and the Near Southside gab a go-to order and head over to HopFushion. Every once in a while they do brewery yoga which is such fun! They have live music on the weekends. They have plenty of board games to play with friends. I really do love this place!

Suzanne P.

Yelp
Curb side ordering. $8-9 a six pack. How could you go wrong for great beer?? Super easy to order and pay. Support local! Buy great beer at Hop Fusion!

Alyssa L.

Yelp
I'll add to the perfect ratings--this place is awesome. They have a glow in the dark Brewery, great booze selection and some non-alcoholic options like local kombucha (yay!) and a cold chai beverage that kinda tastes like root beer. There's ample indoor and outdoor seating, TVs, a big screen projector for sporting events and board games. Best of all, this place is super dog friendly!

Vero G.

Yelp
The service was top notch, the drink selection equally amazing. Will be visiting the area to come back here! Loved the siesta beer! 10/10 recommend spending time here!

Sirena L.

Yelp
I haven't explored much of the Dallas-Fort Worth area yet, but I'm glad this is one of the few places I've visited so far and I would definitely come back. I tried several 4oz pours and everything was good. They have a good variety of beer, whether you like it on the sweet, dark, or hoppy side (plus inexpensive and delicious-sounding non-alcoholic options), and many of them are surprisingly high ABV, so be careful ;) I personally really enjoyed the Fur Slipper, even though milk stouts aren't typically my beer of choice. On a Sunday afternoon, street parking wasn't an issue. The venue itself is awesome: clean, decorated, and spacious, with ample indoor & outdoor seating, a large projector screen, and another tv screen or two if you want to catch any games. I think I also caught a glimpse of a pile of board games and a small stage, so there are plenty of things to keep you entertained. And the bartender we had was fantastic! Get here if you can!

Michelle H.

Yelp
I hosted a pre-conf happy hour and brewery tour at HopFusion in June 2021. Planning was a breeze with Matt, he made the process seamless and enjoyable. My attendees all reported a memorable experience!

Kailey R.

Yelp
Loved the vibe here. So fun and they had live music on Saturday night. They had a great variety of beers and all were really good.

Brad N.

Yelp
I'll confess, I'm not from Ft. Worth, and I didn't even know this entire part of the city existed before this visit. We were in the neighborhood to catch a show at another nearby bar, but like HopFusion, that place didn't serve food. Since we had some time, and HopFusion had a food truck parked outside, we ordered food and had a couple of beers. From an ambiance perspective, this place is seriously cool. It's family and pet friendly, with both kids and dogs present on this Saturday evening. Another great feature is a small collection of board games that can be played at the tables while you enjoy your brews. Numerous big TVs can be tuned to your choice of sporting events as well. Seating is a mix of picnic table, chairs, and stools, both inside and on a nice patio. We chose two beers on this evening, the Tejano Lager, with a nice dash of lime and spicy salt on the rim, and a Riesling Royale wine/ale hybrid. The former was a crisp, clean lager that still had flavor, and was thoroughly enjoyable. The latter was interesting, featuring a slight hoppy bitterness, yet the slightest sweet from the Riesling must (the wine analog for wort). It was a refreshing drink, tasting all of and maybe more than it's 6.83% ABV. As with most breweries like this, the list rotates and features many local and far flung varieties. It's got a great vibe, and it's very friendly and accommodating. Check it out if you want to try some great beers in an environment that just feels cool and comfortable.

Chad E.

Yelp
I'm from Chicago, and you guys are SO awesome!! I just had your feisty blonde and your feisty redhead ales for the first time and they are LEGIT! Do you also happen to have a feisty brunette or a feisty salt 'n pepper ale as well? Haha I'll take them all! Keep up the awesome work, looking forward to trying more!

Jeff W.

Yelp
Best brewery in dfw hands down. They have a great selection of beers and a really great venue. The staff is wonderful and very helpful in helping decide what beer to get. Cant recommend this place enough

Cheryl O.

Yelp
How I've not reviewed this awesome tap room is beyond me I've come here ffor several years. I break keto to come here. Our first time, we did a flight. I told the bartender I liked feisty blonde & fur slipper the best. He replies "hold on, I'm going to give you a taste of Christmas" as he combined the two. I was in heaven!! I've tried so many of their beers & I'm never disappointed. Right now, I'm enjoying the brunch Beermosa & my man had the Brunch beer & Vietnamese Sunrise which I thought he'd lose his mind over... lol.

Martin K.

Yelp
Great tap room on the South side of Ft. Worth. Comfy layout with a large projection screen and most importantly, great beer. Several different stouts, including the tasty Zombie Crack, make this a destination for beer lovers!

Jeff R.

Yelp
This is a great place to come out and just enjoy some bear and watch TV. Beer selection is great and my favorite is the Orange Blossom. But everything is great and the staff is amazing.

Lucas E.

Yelp
Awesome beers at HopFusion! Great taproom with lots of good vibes to be had. You get that friendly Texas service, in a hip setting, while drink a large selection of fantastic beers. What's not to like?! Drink local!

Ted W.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful brewery to visit in a revitalized area of Fort Worth. Quality beers on tap and by quality I mean NOT pretentious, hipster-geared taste-du-jour. Heavy on the Stouts, Porters, Ales and some nice Lagers during my visit. Flight menus are present before you hit the bar so you can read, study and choose before you get to the front. Nice logistics. Seating consists of a nice-sized patio with umbrella-tables and communal picnic tables inside which I absolutely love. It really brings the beer-nerd out as you can speak with strangers about the beer, your experiences and all things inbetween. Arrive as strangers, leave as friends. Food consisted of a food truck outside which I didn't try. If anyone is hesitant to visit, reach out and I'll join ya! :-)

Stefanie C.

Yelp
This is one of those rare times that I felt the experience of a brewery was more memorable than the beer. Not that the beer was bad (it was great!) but the vibe and community are just unrivaled. My brothers and I came here with my husky puppy, which already scored us major points with all the other patrons. It was jam-packed on a Saturday evening, but not uncomfortably so. We ordered beer at the counter (not a long wait) and found seats at the long communal tables in the main part of the brewery. On my way to use the restroom, I discovered the corner of board games. Grabbed one of them and headed back to join my brothers. Everyone we met was so nice, and the beers were cold and tasty. I could have stayed here for hours if we weren't hungry for dinner. Part of me is glad there wasn't food here, which is what makes it dog-friendly. It was also near freezing outside, otherwise the patio would have been a gorgeous place to hang out. Whenever I travel, breweries are my favorite places to visit. It's a pretty good indicator of the local community, and it's typically full of fellow dog lovers. In the few days I spent in Fort Worth with my brothers, HopFusion was definitely the most memorable. I'd love to come back here again, hopefully when the weather is nicer.

Tommy P.

Yelp
Had dinner nearby and tried to stop by for a beer after picking up desserts. We didnt realize they were closed on Mondays. One of the owners happened to be having a beer on the patio and offered a beer on the house even though they were closed. Incredibly nice guy. They usually have live music as well and excellent beers. Will be back again!

Alex T.

Yelp
Tuesday Happy Hour!! All pints for $3.. all day! Used to live in Fort Worth and went back recently to check out the South Main area. A lot happening over here and HopFusion was by far the best of what we found in the area. Very friendly bartenders that let you try whatever you want and a ton of beers on tap - all of which taste high quality. We live in Colorado now, so we have tons of good beer but HopFusion is up there with some of the best - definitely go check it out. Great patio views of downtown Fort Worth if the weather is nice and food trucks regularly.

Dallas M.

Yelp
I initially stopped by this place with my friend, Gary. It's an amazing place to spend time with friends while sipping incredible brew. I think my favorite was the feisty blond or the coco anejo. Yum! Very cool vibe. Lots of seating. Super clean and very friendly staff. I can't wait until it gets cooler to be able to sit on the outdoor patio. I visited a second time with my husband and daughter. They have some cool kids games, so she had fun while we were there. I wouldn't recommend taking a kid during the rush, but when it's chill, it works with kids. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by if you're a beer connoisseur. You won't be disappointed!

Tiffaney C.

Yelp
Don't knock it til' you try it! I had no idea how or what to order since I've never even had craft beer. The bartender was amazing, she had awesome customer service, great knowledge and patience with me and made amazing recommendations based on our convo. I ordered a flight, which is genius... little mini beers to try several. Every beer I had I would definitely order again. They had a local artist playing that night who was awesome, so the tunes were great! The vibes of the bar were so chill, but upbeat! The owner did a great job with the design and atmosphere. Saving the best for last... they have board games that everyone is welcome to use, a patio area out front and dogs are welcome! I will be back with friends! Great place!

Doug S.

Yelp
HopFusion Ale Works is a great brew house or bar whatever you want to call it. We went on a Saturday afternoon sat outside and had a great time with friends. They have big open doors for a kind of indoor outdoor feel. And also outside tables and chairs. The location has plenty of parking around. And they had a good crowd all afternoon. The beer here is what they are known for. You have a lot of different beers to choose from with some different mixes not just normal beers. You just have to read the board and see what you like. Or just try new flavors or types of beer. It is fun to try new beers. You pay by the glass and I'm pretty sure they only have beer. There was a food truck out front the day we went. HopFusion is a great place you need to check them out especially if you like beer.

Jessica G.

Yelp
I had high hopes with HopFusion based on the reviews but after a handful of visits, I left each time underwhelmed with the beers available. The atmosphere is fantastic, the people are super friendly, and they were busy each time I had been in. However, I just wasn't really pleased with the beers available and there are A LOT of beers available. Out of the variety of the styles I tried, they all sort of had the same aftertaste. Not sure if it was lines but I haven't been back since. Being that I do like supporting local businesses, I'm sure I'll be back to give it another go and I'm hoping that I'll be able to come back to this review and add some more stars.

Robert B.

Yelp
Modern brewery in Southside Fort Worth that deserves your business. Distinct lines against contrasting brights and darks, combine with wood, metal, and cement surroundings to create a trendy feel. I happen to be here on a day when the weather was conducive to sitting on the patio. The seating is picnic tables and wooden benches. Looks nice but is not fun to sit on for hours. The umbrellas outside light up at night, a nice touch. They have one of the biggest projection screen tv setups I have seen. The view is interesting and improving as revitalization of the area gains steam. I suppose I should comment on the beer! Great tasting beer and a great selection. I went on a Tuesday when they offer a reduced price; a good deal for sure. I tasted almost all their beers and I would recommend them all. The staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about their product. I would give them a five star, but our bottoms got sore sitting on wooden benches for hours. Parking can be tricky, but that is part of a downtown experience. Recommended.
