"Love of spices inspires the chef of this house of Sri Lankan cuisine. When he says the national dish of Sri Lanka is ‘rice and curry’, he doesn’t just mean rice with curry. The phrase refers specifically to a set menu of several types of curry, side dishes, and rice. In keeping with tradition, the curry is made with Maldive fish, a type of shaved bonito. Distinctively, the rice is a mixture of basmati rice and Japanese rice." - Michelin Inspector

Learn this restaurant from its famous sister branch SPiCE Cafe. It presents authentic Sri Lanka's cuisine but with fine touch here. All the soft drinks are hand-crafted per order here, all very nice ones. What really surprised me was the dessert, it gave aromatic kicks in mouth. But the fish and meat dishes did not play well, they were like bad startup in a football team, no chemistry with others at all, and can't link up with any Sri Lanka things neither.

The spices are wonderful. It's a flavor that makes you want to eat it carefully. The center is sardines. The curry has pacific saury. Personally, I liked the photo book. It's free to read.

Absolutely amazing experience. Authentic Sri Lankan food. The concept of merging Ayurveda with gastronomy was truly moving and educational. The food is just how amma would make it back home haha. And the ambience is very refined. Would definitely recommend this for anything, from a quick meal to a formal dinner. And of course the sri lankan hospitality is well and truly alive! Will definitely be visiting here again.

I’ve been trying many Sri Lankan restaurants around Tokyo but this one gave me a totally different and new vibe and I loved it. We had a course meal and the combination was so great. So tasty.. Nice texture.. We enjoyed so many varieties. Also, Chef explained how the each meal was prepared which is very interesting. Highly recommended place 😊

Oh snap. This place is great. It is really nice seeing more Sri Lankan restaurants in Tokyo and I was excited to see one with a tasting menu. I did the wine pairing as well which was quite nice. My wife got a mango lassi which she thoroughly enjoyed. The meal was 5 dishes, culminating in a thali style dish. Everything was honestly really good. The restaurant seems to focus on seasonal ingredients so I expect the menu to change frequently. Definitely a place to check out if you are in the mood for south Asian dining.

Came here for Saturday dinner. Our reservation was at 7:30 and it was a full house. The location is in the office district so the neighborhood was very quiet on a weekend evening. When you’re near You see a dimmed light in the darkness which gave me comfort. Ordered the ¥6,000 yen course which did not disappoint. The starters were so unique and had a nice blend of Japanese products and Sri Lankan spices. The meat, fish, main curry, and dessert was very different in taste you can tell the chef put a lot of prep work. The coconut alcoholic beverage was interesting too.

Sri Lankan curry restaurant. Nice place if you like or want to discover this kind of cuisine that brings unusual flavour to the mouth.

Had the fish curry lunch set for ¥1,650 and I can honestly say it worth the visit just to get some authentic flavorful curry. The portion is generous, and each side of vegetables or fish is a prefect partner to the main (although I’m not the biggest fan of eggplant). You can also top up the rice for free. Definitely worth a visit!
