Hops Burger Bar

This was our second time at this sandwich shop, but the first was at the other location where we ate very well. Here you can see that it's a more modern place, but trendy and crowded. We were lucky to get a table in 20 minutes without a reservation. The food came quickly but wasn't that tasty; the burgers were overcooked and a bit dry. As is natural, we compared it to the other store and felt a certain pressure to eat and leave. Perhaps because it's more crowded here, the focus is on keeping people moving.

We stumbled upon this place after seeing some posts on instagram. Let’s just say it does not disappoint. The staff was welcoming when we arrived. When asked for suggestions they recommended the onion rings. We ordered them and those were the absolute highlight of the meal. RED ONION RINGS! These were the best onion rings I have ever had. The breading was light and crispy with a good bite to the the onion but broke apart nicely. The dipping sauce complimented it perfectly. After devouring the onion rings we moved onto the burgers. They come in 6 oz, 9 oz and 12 oz options. My wife got the 6 oz Spicy Goat and I got the 12 oz Midnight burger. Both were amazing, juicy and had their own unique twist. The Spicy Goat had a nice tangy, sweet spice to it while the Midnight Burger had a rich creamy pigment flavor. I honestly would get both again (however 12 oz was a bit much). The wings were good, not the best but not the worst I have had. The Sweet Thai Chili were definitely better than the Mambo sauce. Overall, I would definitely come here again. The onion rings are a must. Excellent service, great food and unique burgers.

This was my first visit to this location on Lawndale in Greensboro. It didn't disappoint. I had the Carolinian burger with a fried egg, fried green tomato, and bacon. This location has more indoor seating and more parking than the location on Spring Garden Street. I like the vibe and the outdoor seating at the Spring Garden location a tad better.

The food at hops is always great. The restaurant itself is relatively small so on busy night's past 5 expect to wait awhile. Their specialty fries are worth the cost.

Love this place! Downside- Not much room to wait for a table if you come during a busy time. Food is amazing. Diablo burger and the big bird is my favorite. My kiddos like the chicken tenders. Beer selection is good. They always have good ciders and draft to choose from based on the time of year. Service is always great!

We ordered online for pickup. Got home and they gave us the wrong appetizer and our fries were modified properly. Everything that was correct was delicious…just wish we got all of what we ordered! Staff should be double checking Togo orders as you only have one chance to get it right.

This is a great burger spot! The ambience is nice (although a little sticky sometimes), and the staff has always been kind. But the highlight for us is definitely the food. We love their nutty patty burger on any bun. And I personally am a huge fan of the sweet potato fries. They're just soooo good! This time we also tried the salmon sandwich, which was the featured menu. And yes, the sandwich was great, but the side of fried green beans was a table favorite! All in all, a great burger joint that we often return to!

Haven't been to Hops in quite a while. We got there about 3:30 (late lunch). We were sat right away. It was not too busy, however people were starting to come in after we were sat. Atmosphere was not too loud. They have two small TVs in each corner, which I think should be bigger. We wanted to try the crab cake balls. They were pretty good and didn't lack on the crab. The bartender was hustling, taking care of bar and tables. He was wonderful and attentive. I ordered a Bison Burger, Spicy goat style and my friend ordered the North Carolinian. I felt everything turned out good. I did order my Bison medium, but felt it may have been more medium rare, but still delicious. Our Beers: California Squeeze Blood Orange beers and then we tried a Hop Fly (DPIA). Both citrus and refreshing. Ciao for now!

I've heard great things about Hops and was looking forward to trying it, but honestly it didn't live up to my expectations. I got the Spicy Goat Burger and Garlic Rosemary Fries. My burger was super dry. I told myself it's because I ordered it well-done (although let me be clear, lots of places successfully cook a juicy well-done burger), so I was going to let it slide, until I looked back at my food photos. Looking at the photo, you can see it clearly is still pink. Ew. Lots of people like it that way, but if I wanted medium I would have ordered medium. Burger toppings sounded pretty good on the menu, but I wasn't crazy about the Spicy Goat. The goat cheese with the sweet pepper jelly tasted good together, but it wasn't very spicy. I'd be open to trying something else on the menu though! They have a lot of creative choices. My fries were unfortunately EXTREMELY oily. Don't get me wrong, I want a certain level of grease when eating a burger and fries, but these practically dripped when I squeezed them. It was as though they were put into too-cool oil. Service was very good, especially considering I was there during a crowded week day lunch rush. In all, it was okay but not worth the $20 for a burger, fries, and water. There are other burger spots I would choose over Hops.

Came in on a Saturday and was told it'd be 25 minutes but it ended up being about 40. Not much room right when you walk inside so we had to wait outside. There was one bench but no shaded areas. We got our table and our drink orders were fulfilled quickly. The hot chip appetizer was as expected, nothing out of this world. The French onion burger was pretty good, even though I asked for medium and it had no color in the center. Fries were crispy and seasoned well, but you don't get many. I was a little disappointed overall based off what I had heard about this place but I would be willing to give it another go at some point if they don't have a long wait

Hops did it again! I ventured out of my comfort zone and ordered this week's featured burger. Wait for it... it's the Spicy Mac Burger!!! A burger topped with deep fried mac and cheese, jalapeño bacon and spicy apple butter barbecue sauce on a toasted brioche bun. Served with a side of fried pickle chips. Sounds crazy but the Mac and cheese was crispy on the outside and made a perfect compliment with the burger patty. The fried pickles were amazing! My daughter and I both enjoyed this dish and we will be ordering this again!

Hops is one of those places that is quick to come to mind when I have a craving for a really next level burger. With a large selection of fresh and high quality ingredients, I have never once been disappointed. This was my first visit to this location in particular, and I really enjoyed it. They have a nicely updated interior, plenty of space (more than it looks like from outside), and friendly staff. This night, our server was Mary and she was extremely friendly and attentive. We started with an appetizer, gettin the Buffalo Fries. They were a huge portion of the most perfectly crispy fries I've ever had, with a generous but not overkill amount of toppings to round out the flavors. I would absolutely order them again, but will caution that for two people it's a huge amount and you should either plan on taking some home, or plan your entree accordingly! My wife got the Greek burger in a 6oz, while I got the Diablo burger in an 8oz. Honestly, I'm skeptical on the sizing on the meat because these seemed WAY bigger than the listed sizes. We both took a bunch home for the next day. The burgers themselves were cooked perfectly, with a great and creative amount of toppings, and served quickly. Finally - What good is a burger without a beer? Hops Burger Bar has a great draft beer selection and you'll be able to find something unique or a tried and true favorite without any problem.

The food at Hops Burger Bar is always amazing. You cannot go wrong no matter what you get on that menu. Even when it's crowded the service is also still awesome. And they do a great job of turning over the tables and keeping food off the floor, which is a big pet peeve for me. We love the vibe and the friendly environment. It feels like a very team oriented place to work!

We are at Hops at least once or twice a month and have never left unsatisfied. The burgers are generously portioned and soooo good. The Spicy Goat and Hops Classic are my go-tos, and they never disappoint! The fries and onion rings are always perfectly crispy, and the salads are fresh and cold. I'm not a big beer drinker, but when I decide to have one, it's at Hop's because the selection is solid, and the beer is always cold. The wait staff is consistently friendly and attentive, especially Mary W., who seems to be our server a lot!! While it can get a little crowded during peak times, and parking is a nightmare, it is absolutely worth it! Hops is consistent with both food and service, which is honestly hard to find these days. I highly recommend Hops to someone looking for a filling and flavorful burger!

I knew there would be a wait on Saturday evening. There was already a queue outside, so we went in and gave them our number, we were told 25 mins. It was closer to 35 mins, and it wouldn't have been so bad had it not been 90° outside where we had to wait. When we finally made it inside, the light coming through the window was absolutely blinding and we had to ask for the blinds to be shut. Our table ordered the crab cake balls and hot chips for appetizers. They didn't take terribly long to come out and everything tasted good. The wait for our entrees was pretty long. I had the French onion burger, medium, and it was definitely medium rare but still really good so I can't complain. (Although someone else might have had an issue with it.) My husband's burger was also ordered medium and looked completely different from mine. The onion gravy it came with was tasty and the fries were great! I wouldn't recommend getting a 6oz burger, only because the bun is too large and I ended up with a lot of wasted bread. I feel conflicted because the food is good, but is it good enough for the wait? It's hard to say.

If you know, you know, just in case you don't...this is what I know! The food is always good, sometimes I have wait a few, but the awesome service and food makes it worth the wait! The vibe is very causal, restrooms are always clean! Today, I had the turkey burger with chips. I tried the lightly breaded asparagus which was very tasty. I also tried the red sangria which was good. I enjoy myself when I visit Hops.

Burgers and onion rings are outstanding. Lots of options to choose from and the quality and taste are spot on. Love that you can pick between 6oz, 8oz, or 12oz patty. The ingredients are fresh and the brioche buns are perfect. Great selection of local beers. Service was fantastic.

Love Hops Burger Bar! Thankfully they opened up a second location because the Spring Garden one can get busy!! I love their veggie options here, there's truly something for everyone. My personal favorite is a diablo burger with the mushroom cauliflower patty. As far as the patty goes it's usually mushy, I will say the key is to get it well done/cooked extra! It makes it taste so much better and doesn't fall apart. This time around I got my burger with their sweet Thai chili fries, it was delicious! The sauce is tangy and has this sweet heat to it that kicks in a little late so beware! But the sour cream and green onion garnish really sets the fries off. They have a lot of drink options, I got their spiced mule, which was delicious! For dessert we got the mint chocolate chip cheesecake and it was delightful! Thank you Hops! You never disappoint!

Great burger the restaurant is small so I would recommend getting there before 5pm for dinner

Had a delicious meal at Hops! We had the fried asparagus along with the Hops burger. Absolutely perfect. Had the seasonal apple crisp cheesecake so very good! Service was impeccable. Highly recommend.

Good ole Hops Burger Bar on Lawndale. Dance competition and we took family to Hops. College Hills Blues burger. Hop's Classics. Pickle burger. I love the chili and cheese fries, my new guilty favorite. Great service and atmosphere.

Casual burger place located in a strip mall in Greensboro! The place is somewhat small with the amount of tables, but the bar has plenty of seating. We were seated right away at a high top, but got there around 5:30pm. Service was quick and friendly. I got the College Hill Blues burger on a pretzel bun. It came with my choice of sides, so I picked sweet potato fries. The burgers also come in 3 different sizes - 6 oz, 8 oz, and 12 oz. Everything was very good! It's definitely a good place to go when you want a casual, quick bite. There is plenty of parking in the area, but I know it can get busy if you go here in the afternoon.

I was so excited to try Hops and it did not disappoint! There was a bit of a wait when we arrived around 12:15, but now I understand why and it was definitely worth the wait! Our waitress was very friendly (but not annoyingly so) and attentive. There is a nice variety on the menu and everything that came out looked great. I got the South Pacific Tuna Sandwich and it was incredible! Very nice, fresh, and tender. The fries were also some of the best I've ever had! Other members of our party got the haddock sandwich (perfectly beer battered and fried) and the North Carolinian. All of the sides were great! I wish I had room for dessert because they serve Cheesecakes by Alex which are some of the best cheesecakes around! The only potential issue posed is that the restaurant is very loud, but sometimes, that's okay! I will absolutely be returning!

Visited again and had to get a burger I ordered the mushroom Swiss this visit and it was excellent I highly recommend

This is a joke in the wall and I loved it! I ordered a sweet tea and it was really good sweet tea. Being from Texas I care about my sweet tea. I was not disappointed. I also enjoyed the Hops Classic burger and fries. Excellent. Our server was knowledgeable about the place and was able to answer each and every question we had. Great place!

Hops is always a go to for our family. If we can't think of anything else we want, it's a sure thing at Hops. Consistently delicious every single time. The lawndale location has great spacing and has an updated interior. The service is always great! I also love looking at the burger of the month and occasionally trying one like this "fish burger" special. The only thing I have qualms about is the burger meat at the lawndale location. At the spring garden location their meat is always buttery and juicy. I find the meat at the lawndale location to be seared harder on the outside making the patty lose juice on the inside. Hops will continue to be a staple for our family during any occasion!

We got there at the perfect time got the last available table. Service was excellent quick with drinks and apps we had the poutine fries best gravy I have had in NC. I had the classic burger cooked to perfection with the beer battered asparagus never had this before but it works we will definitely be back

When we came in at 5 on a Tuesday this place was busy. Very warm relaxed atmosphere inside. We had a table of 5 and were seated fast. I had the onion burger with jalapeño garlic fries. The burger was good, fries as well . The main star of the show was the cheesecake they had , I think it was kaluha coffee or something like that, phenomenal.

I recently visited Hops due to a burger craving and it had been awhile since I had been in. Frankly my husband and I were disappointed as it was not as good as in the past. We both had the basic burger with bacon. The burger bun tasted almost stale and dry and the bacon was crisp on the outside of the bun but the bacon inside was limp. The truffle fries which were my absolute favorite let me down as they tasted like they had been around and not crispy and lacked the greatness from previous visits. I ordered a dessert of banana cake to go and it was ok but not outstanding coming from Alex cheesecakes . Of course the prices have only increased. I will be reluctant to return anytime soon. The service was OK but not enough to offset the sub par food.

I was able to sit at the bar after work hours during the week and enjoy a delicious burger and special French fries. I was also able to have a nice and cold craft beer. The bartender was nice and very attentive. So the service was great. The place was pretty full but the atmosphere was well enough that it didn't feel crowded or as if I could not speak to anyone.

I'm really surprised that I have not written a review on Hops. I was just recently there for lunch and expected to see my review after a few prior lunches. I must remedy immediately! No doubt in my mind, they have consistently earned a five star in my book. My go to are their burgers and sweet potato fries with a local craft brew. My most recent visit I tried a special on the menu. It didn't hit as well as others, but still based on other offerings I love them. A combination of strong service and delicious burgers and fries makes this an easy five star pull for me. They have two locations in town, the original and this one. They also have at least one location that's outside the area. However, keep in mind they are a local business.

Excellent service at the bar on a busy Wednesday night. Burgers hit the spot! A bit crowded all around but the atmosphere was pleasant and had a good vibe. We left happy. Would definitely come back. We had takeout from here once in the past and it was not as good as it was dining inside. Recommended to all, except screaming/cranky children, it's not a place for that.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and it was PACKED. We were seated promptly and the service was excellent. I got the large Diablo burger. Last time the large patty wasn't nearly as large. I think they gave us the small size instead because I didn't finish it all today and last time was still hungry. No photos today because the glare from the windows was really bad and it was impossible. They allowed my party to test the beers before purchase. That was nice of them and appreciated because they came from France and weren't familiar with local beers. Parking was a nightmare, as usual. I really think they could have more business if they fixed it. The bathrooms were clean but didn't have paper towels. I wish they had toothpicks. I forgot to bring mine today because it was a last minute plan to come here today.

Was back in Greensboro for business and had to go back to Hops. This place should be featured on triple d! What a cozy little spot where the locals go. The atmosphere is very welcoming and very laid back. From the time you walk in the door the service is spot on, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had the 8 oz Carolinian burger with onion rings. The meal was incredible. If you're in the area stop in and enjoy.

Honestly, this is my go-to spot for a burger and fries! I highly recommend the Goat burger (it's loaded with goat cheese, red pepper jelly, crispy bacon, fresh toppings, and the perfect juicy patty). Also try the fried green tomatoes with goat cheese. They're savory, tangy, and crispy all at once. Portions are generous, so I always leave with leftovers. I've never been disappointed here.

Hops is a go-to when we visit Greensboro. It is always delicious and very reliable. I recommend it to everyone in the area. Personally, my favorite burger is always going to the Spicy Goat. It is delicious with pepper jelly, bacon and goat cheese. Put a side of Parmesan and jalapeño fries next to it, and it is absolutely my perfect meal. I've tried several other burgers, including the Pickleback and Diablo. All delicious depending on your palate; you legitimately can't go wrong. If you can drag yourself away from the main menu, check out specials on the board because they are usually amazing. For those who are vegetarian, they also have a patty option that's very tasty too. They can get busy at lunch, and that shopping center can get crazy. Consider those factors when you visit. However, the staff is quick and friendly. They are clearly also fans of the food and happily offer recommendations. Hops also has a fairly strong beer selection, so that is a nice pairing with the delicious burgers.

It was cold and very crowded but we chose to sit outside. Very good waiter and the food was delicious.

I'm still on my quest for the best burger and fries in greensboro and I keep coming back to this spot. It's hard to beat! Casual place with high tops and bustling with an eclectic group of families, friends and dates. The staff is friendly and attentive. I love to make my own burger from the menu and I love the fries. The burgers are cooked just the way you want it and a lot of burger joints just cook well done. I leave full and happy.

All my food was delicious, I don't have any complaints. The staff was friendly and the environment was cleans. I really enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and my burger. I'm not sure if I would get the gravy on my fries again.

This was our second time here the burgers are really good I ordered a Diablo Burger, the ingredients were fresh and of course I had to get the sweet potato fries they are amazing. I also got a long island iced tea and it was good, the service and the atmosphere here is great.

I really enjoy going to this location because of the ambiance and amount of people that can be seated here. The workers are on their A-game and can generally seat you and give you your food within 30 minutes id say. They're pretty much always busy, which is a good sign for a place you're going to. The parking lot is always packed of people going into Hops all the time, so good luck on parking! It is worth it though. They always have specials every day/week and I highly recommend trying those out because it's fresh ingredients with a pizazz of flavor that you wouldn't expect. The flavor profile for literally anything you get here is like a party in your mouth. You will "mmm" the entire time you eat your meal and develop a food baby the time you're finished. You will enter food coma by the time you leave this place. I do have to shout out the bartenders because they're incredible and give very fast service as well. If you aren't sure what to drink, they give great suggestions according to your preferences. The vegetarian options here are VERY good and have a lot of flavor. They aren't your average restaurant choices of beyond burgers. They make it in house from scratch and I highly recommend you try them out, because you WILL be hooked.

Saturday night. Buzzing with excitement and fun in the air. Paaacked! You want a quiet and intimate evening with your significant other? Don't come here on a Saturday night. You want a fun filled dinner with your significant other, friends or the whole family? Definitely come here. Plenty of parking right outside in the parking lot even though it was a busy Saturday evening. You walk in and you're greeted with friendly staff, music, and a super fun atmosphere in the air. It was just the wife and I so we could belly up to the bar in just a few minutes of wait time. You have a party of 4 or more, make sure to give yourself some time on a busy weekend night. Even if you have to wait, it's worth it. The craft brew scene here is fantastic. Plenty of beers for every palate on tap. Bartenders were super attentive, giving plenty of personal time even though the place was filled with no tables or bar seats empty. We weren't waiting on anything, including the needed water hydration next to our great drinks. Starting off with what I'd say was one of the best fried green tomato appetizers we've had. Perfect crispy outside, with a juicy and tasty inside. Topped with either goat cheese, pimento cheese, or both (recommended!), it was a tasty starter that whet the appetite. We then went in for the burgers: Diablo for me (pepper jack cheese, guacamole, jalapeños, sautéed onions, and jalapeño bacon on a sriracha bun), and a Pickleback for the wife (fried onion rings, bourbon marinated pickles and bbq sauce on a brioche bun). We haven't been to many burger spots in Greensboro yet, but these burgers live up to some of the best we've had compared to Phoenix and California. Huge patties, of which you can choose from a 6, 8 or 12oz size depending on your hunger or love for burgers. Juicy, tender and depth to flavor. The toppings just heighten the burger experience, and do not drown out the actual taste of the patty. The onion ring sides were amazing. And you can't beat the presentation, see pics to get a feel for it without actually being there. But honestly, go experience it for yourself first hand if you haven't yet. We will definitely be back!

The burgers were big, tasty and made exactly the way we ordered! I had high hopes for the onion rings but they didn't really carry a flavor. The batter was nice and crunchy, the onions themselves weren't overpowering but the batter was flavorless. The wings were really good! Tasty on the outside and inside! Our server was very attentive, prompt and not overbearing. I'd say overall we had a good visit for a late Friday night!

Earlier this week, I was fortunate to have the day off for Martin Luther King Day, Unfortunately, my wife did not have the day off so I decided to meet her at her work and take her to lunch. She chose Hops for two reasons, it is near her work in Greensboro and they no longer have a location in Winston that we used to visit and really enjoyed. We arrived a little before noon and it was pretty busy. We were still seated right away but there were not many tables open. We were promptly provided menus and had our drink orders taken. When our drinks arrived, we placed our orders. My wife chose the College Hill Blues Burger (No Bun) (Bleu Cheese, Sauteed Onion and Mushrooms and Spinach without the Horseradish-Dijon Sauce) and a side salad. I chose the Cuban Cow Burger (Grilled Ham, Carolina Pulled Pork, and Swiss Cheese without the Pickles and Lime-Dijon Aioli) and a side of their delicious onion rings. We enjoyed catching up and our burgers arrived in a timely manner and looked delicious! My wife commented that their side salad is a step up and of course my onion rings were incredible as always. The burgers were flavorful and we love the creative toppings. This was the first time we've been at this particular location and we enjoyed it!

I was visiting my in-laws in Durham, and after a visit to Furnitureland South, they took me to Hops Burger Bar for dinner. There were unique options, along with a changing weekly special or a create-your-own option so it was hard to decide! I ultimately ordered the North Carolinian burger with cheddar cheese instead of pimento, added red onion, with a side of sweet potatoes. The burger was huge, like I could barely get the whole thing in one bite. It was a good burger, but I ordered it medium and it was well done (there was no pink at all, and not that juicy). I ordered the banana pudding cake for dessert, and thought the cake was kind of dry and the frosting too sweet. Our server Robert though was friendly and attentive, and I was able to sample two beers before deciding what to drink. More of a 3.5 stars to me than 4.

If you know me you know I loveeeeeee Hop's. This is a weekly visit for me. The burgers and sweet potatoes fries are sooo good. I just recently tried their wings and they were so good. I always feel welcomed here and always love the service and vibe of the bar.

This is the best burger place! Whenever a friend is in town I take them here because the burgers are amazing! My go to is the spicy goat but I also love the North Carolinian! The service is very good also and although it's normally busy they are very efficient. Today I tried the cheesecake by Alex chocolate turtle brownie cheesecake for dessert and my mouth is still watering while writing this because it was so delicious! Give it a try!

Still the best tasting burger I've ever had. Still great beer. Still wonderful service. Managers are understanding and helpful. Staff are young and fun. Space is great. Go here for the best burger you've ever had. Their onion rings are stupid delicious too.

We went to this hops Burger bar to try out the food for recommendation for a friend. TLDR: solid burgers would recommend getting them medium rare, try the onion rings. Poutine fries are ok but not made with cheese curds. We got the: onion ring appetizer, College Hill blues burger, Diablo burger, and the poutine fries, and a blood orange hefeweizen. Onion ring appetizer: these were nicely seasoned and very crispy. Onion rings were very thin which added to the crunch but were not strongly onion flavored. College Hill Bleus Burger: it was very tasty. The blue cheese tasted very good compared well with the burger. However, the horseradish Dijon mustard sauce was lacking and really only tasted like mustard. Diablo burger: not for the faint hearted. Very spicy. It was overall very tasty; however, the burger did tend to fall apart. Would recommend getting this medium rare so that the burger stays together otherwise he will end up with a bowl full of ground beef. Poutine: this was pretty solid. The fries were very crispy and well seasoned. The gravy tasted like advertised: a French onion soup. There was insufficient cheese coverage for the fries though and the cheese was not curds like poutines classically are. Blood orange Hefeweizen: recommend! Nice blood orange flavor and very smooth.

The greatest burgers of all time. Started off the meal with Fried Green Tomatoes as our app. These are superb truly the best I've ever had. Breaded and perfectly crispy! We had ours with pimento cheese because obviously. They are served with a a jalapeño ranch I could swim in. Highly recommend! We had the burger special of the weekend True North, it was delicious! Blue cheese, bacon and a bbq sauce! Sooooo perfectly cooked. We also had the French onion burger. My goodness this is a winner. Meaty, cheesy and served with the most delectable gravy. This is my usual first choice! The staff is awesome, ask for Lyndsey. She made sure we had the perfect beer pairings!! Honestly Hops never lets us down. It is always delicious!

The portions are huge! The onion rings had a great flavor, the onion slices inside were really thick and not cooked very well done so if you're not a big onion person, I do not recommend. (I love onions and thought they were great). I enjoyed the atmosphere. We went around 3pm and I was pleasantly surprised at how busy they were at that time of the day on a Monday. I ordered the angry avocado and absolutely loved my sandwich. They were generous with every single ingredient including the avocado spread and pimento cheese.

Came in on a Saturday for lunch. Place was very busy. When I got my food, I realized why. The beer selection is awesome. Good local brew. The burger....absolutely delicious. I got the North Carolinian. Damn, it was most likely the best burger I've ever eaten. I've been around the country and I usually get burgers at restaurants like this. I think if you can't make a burger, you are most likely not going to do well at anything else. But Hops Burger Bar can solid make a burger! Will definitely be back!

Hops is one of those places that you go and whatever you order is always good! I've been to this location several times and there is usually available seating so you don't have to wait. The service has always been good when I've been. But their burgers are really the selling point, they are some of the best in the area and definitely worth trying if you've never been! Me and some friends stopped in for dinner the other night and it was great as usual. We started with an order of the onion rings for the table. They were perfectly cooked with a nice crisp layer of batter on the outside. The sauce to dip them in complimented them perfectly, it was zesty and creamy. I ordered the pickle back burger with sweet Thai chili fries as my entree. I like that they have a variety of different style fries to chose from. I opted for the smallest patty option and it still was pretty large. The burger was topped with onion rings, pickles and barbecue sauce. This combo complimented the burger perfectly. The fries were really good as well. They had a sweet and spicy flavor. I am a big cheesecake fan so even though I was stuffed when we were done I got a slice to go. They feature cheesecakes from cheesecakes by Alex and I believe the flavors change regularly. I ordered the strawberries and cream cheesecake and it was perfection!
