This little corner gem is amazing. My nail shop is next door and I've never been here before until today. It smells so amazing and the food did not disappoint. Our server Jasmine suggested some dishes and we are so glad we listened. We were able to share and try a little of everything. The balsamic strawberry salad was so refreshing. The house killer shrimp was so saucy and flavorful. Highly suggest trying this plate. The brisket and the braised short rib was so juicy and it melts in your mouth. Looking forward to my next visit. So spacious and they make their own beer. Everything was on point.

Went in for lunch today with my wife. We ordered brisket, Brussel sprouts and a couple beers. Beers are great and reasonably priced. The $21 brisket order however was way overpriced for the amount. The amount looked almost like an appetizer. Not enough to fill up even 1 person, so the price should be something like $13-16 max. In addition the brisket tasted like tender roast beef rather than barbecue. Other food items are probably good but I would not get BBQ there anymore considering the cost versus amount.

For an early birthday celebration, my wife and daughter took me to one of her favorite spots in Torrance to enjoy some good beers and food. They kept the beers flowing and I enjoyed every sip. The food was heavenly and came out promptly with little delay. The atmosphere is freely and they had upbeat music playing to you. An vibe to; which also enhanced the experience. Very affordable and a spot you can go to when trying to stay local while also enjoying an afternoon out. I will definitely be back.

Google
Great place and very kind people. I got a quick service. The place is cozy and great.

Google
If you haven’t already had the opportunity, this spot is a must try! Upon walking in, the ambiance was noticeably warm and inviting. After trying the Killer Shrimp appetizer, it became clear that the chefs know what they’re doing. The incredible depth of flavor was truly special with every dish. Aside from the amazing food, Madeleine and Christina left a remarkably positive impression on my experience as well. I'll definitely be back!

Google
The brisket chili is great! The burgers are large and look very juicy and the selection of award winning craft beers are delicious. Excellent service and atmosphere with lots of parking. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Google
Ask for their tart or orange peel beer! To die for! Best food and dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Shout out to Erik, their crew of cooks, and I forgot the other guys name but everyone there was fantastic!

Google
Pretty cool brewery. Good rotation and variety of beers. They offer lots of food. Didn’t try their BBQ but had a flatbread which was great. Cool vibe, lots of seating, and friendly service. A great neighborhood joint!

Yelp
A thank you Thursday wouldn't be complete without thanking the spots that make dining in the south bay awesome. Thank you HopSaint for your consistent great food, super awesome brews and friendly, welcoming team. If I had a dollar for every time we've driven on 190th and made a split second decision to stop for a bite and brew, I'd have a purse stuffed full of crisp ones. We know a stop in HopSaint means catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. We're fans of your dark brews and IPA's and anything on nitro. We love your staff and kitchen crew and all the folks who make the magic happen. And who doesn't love your BBQ menu? Not us! We might order the same thing over and over again, but we're not complaining, it's all SO delicious. Thanks again for serving the neighborhood. We love that you're here and honored to call all of you friends.

Yelp
According to my number of Yelp check-ins here, maybe I come her too much. I have a regular Friday happy hour, and I have been a regular since it opened. I credit myself for keeping HopSaint in business during the covid shutdown. The beer is great. The just tapped a Vienna Lager just before the end of Oktoberfest. My wife likes the kolsch and whatever sours they have. They also have ciders and wine. They have really good food too. Dinner can be very busy with a wait expected. It can be loud. The bar is one of the quieter places to sit. They always have off menu specials. Ask, and you may get something you did not plan to eat, but will be delicious.

Yelp
Best beer in the region. Their IPAs are well balanced, which is how I've come to judge breweries 'cuz it's real easy to crank out a mediocre IPA. The food is also excellent, bordering on casual fine dining in terms of the menu, but the atmosphere is very casual and comfortable. Lots of space, friendly staff, and easy parking. I wandered around the region for a few days and found myself back here three times. This place would be my go-to if I lived here.

Yelp
I was here six years ago and just found my review, which stated that I would return, and I finally returned last night! If I didn't live in Maryland I would be here a lot more often. Fantastic selection of beers, delicious food, and service last night by Lala was outstanding! We had flatbread, brussels sprouts, and pasta and all were delicious. I had two IPAs and recommend both of them! Hopefully it won't be six years before I return once again! So Much Citra Hopsaint IPA

Yelp
Ambiance: it's spacious inside, good for large group gatherings, overall it feels more like a bar restaurant rather than a brewery Service: pushy and impatient, unfortunately bad recommendations, unfamiliar with their specialities Food & Drink: surprising good food menu, but disappointing draft beer selections HOPSAINT KILLER SHRIMP - **** roasted red peppers and tomato, shallots, habanero, cilantro, cream, spicy and rich in flavors, recommend Side Shell Pasta - **** tasty with killer shrimp sauce, recommend SMOKED BRISKET - **** juicy and tender, recommend French Fries - ** soggy and not fresh This Is How We Do It IPA - *** west coast IPA, average Key Lime Tart - ** overly sour Pure Intention - *** pale ale, watery Chocolate Trip Nitro - **** unique taste, recommend Still Pills - *** light taste Eternal Skies - *** generic, hard to drink Price: small portions and overpriced for their beer quality, not worth $40+ per person

Yelp
Finally we tried this local spot and man was it good. I got the smoked pork back ribs which were super tender and the barbecue sauce was so tasty. It came with the house slaw which was pretty good too and normally I don't like other coleslaws besides KFC. I also ordered a side of regular fries. Those were yummy as well. I would not be surprised if they were fried in duck fat or beef tallow because they were so delicious and perfectly crisp! The service was great as well. We will totally be back.

Yelp
Possibly the best comfort food in the South Bay...as well as some tasty craft beer. Staff is always welcoming. The vibe is always upbeat and energetic. Tried the tomato soup special which proved to be excellent. The roasted chicken flatbread is always a flavor explosion. All in all, just a terrific neighborhood restaurant/brewery. Cheers!

Yelp
Always fun to be here, great atmosphere, servers are super friendly and they help bring the experience up. The food is good and the beer is refreshing with many options to choose from. Thanks Lala and Alpha once again for being such wonderful people!

Yelp
HopSaint Brewery is a go-to spot for great beer and great vibes. Their craft brews are consistently excellent, and the food is way above typical brewery fare. Everything is so good but let me tell you.... The chili and cornbread is AMAZING!!! Also, the staff is friendly, attentive, and really makes the experience enjoyable. Always a solid choice for a night out.

Yelp
Stopped in to HopSaint for a late lunch in between busy weekend activities. It has a real BBQ atmosphere with some picnic style tables as well as bench seating. They have a great selection of beers and ciders and not only their own. Very wide selection of comfort food choices. The jidori chicken was a special today, and they also had available their house made smoked brisket so we opted for the BBQ plate to share - which had both as well as the smoked sausage. Fantastic flavors and juicy chicken. BBQ sauce served on the side so you could appreciate the subtle smoky aroma in the meat. Our server was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu and beer selection. Fantastic place.

Yelp
Maybe we went on a bad day but we did not have a good experience at hopsaint. Our foods were burnt and salty. We got their salad, pork belly burger and jambalaya. The burger was really fatty. No meat to it. The buns were toasted burnt. And the cornbread that came with the jambalaya was burnt. I understand it was kind of a busy night but we had to wave our server down for refills on water and other things. I do not think I will be back
google avatar

Emily A.

Yelp
This place never disappoints one of our regular stops but now all the sudden we also get Jennifer from Rajin Cajin! What?! Amazing chorizo Mac always and the Brussel sprouts, the steak salad are to die for with the beets, Jennifer recommended the bring the noise hazy! And she was right great choice. Love this place great service always and the ambiance is so small town friendly and now another reason to come back we get to see Jennifer!!!

Eri O.

Yelp
My co-worker took me here last year and I finally had a chance to bring my family today. My husband liked the selection of their beer, and all the food we ordered were really tasty. Their key lime pie was surprisingly good as well. Nice atmosphere with friendly service. We will be back when we are in southbay!

Yelp
Came in because of a yelp review that stated the owner didn't allow their child to loudly watch a device in the restaurant. That's a huge draw for my mom and I so we came in for a peaceful meal. And I'm so happy we came in! It was delicious! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful and yummy! I loved the Brussels and the Chili was definitely worth the hype! My mom really liked her fish dish (pictured) not sure of the name. My friends burger was awesome, I'd order that next time. And the service was a 10! Our server was super attentive and gave excellent recommendations. Try HopSaint out! It was truly a treat, can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Great food, best bbq in the South Bay , note the new menu Jambalaya is no longer offered. Pity, but they still have gumbo My son LOVES the BBQ here. I'm more partial to the Cajun options and my wife prefers the salmon salad. Lovely place, good vibe. Definitely recommended
google avatar

Kelly C.

Yelp
House-made sauces, perfectly smoked meats, and a variety of dishes? I couldn't think of anything better! As someone who doesn't drink, you'll find that their bites are just as good as the beer they market more. The server gave us a background on the place and her favorite dishes, and they didn't disappoint. The spicy general TSO sauce was a surprising hit and the marnin French was perfect for a Brie lover like myself. The only con was that the gumbo didn't have much duck, but it was still delicious and it held over well eaten the next day. Not pictured is the smoked brisket which was a hit. Highly recommend it if you only come for one dish! Casual atmosphere with upscale dishes (although plated more nonchalantly). The vibe is definitely like your local brewery, but they actually care about their food just as much
google avatar

Yelp
Love HopSaint! Tonight I got the smoked brisket plate with coleslaw, I love the brisket here! The coleslaw is good but I'll try it with fries next time. I drink the Kolsch Enough beer and it is so good!! Unfortunately they didn't have the 4 pack to go of that beer. I was dining alone and sat at the bar, they were very welcoming and make you feel at home. It was a Monday night and they were really busy, I'm so glad to see how well they are doing. It's the first time I've been since they put the new gym where the 99 cent store was and parking lot was really full but I was able to find a spot in the back. I use to live nearby but moved last year. When I'm in town I like to come back and enjoy the beer, food and good service. They really have a good handle on getting food and drinks out fast and it's such good quality.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic beer selection! Each food item was prepared, seasoned and presented superbly! We were already discussing hitting HopSaint Brewing the next time we're in town.
google avatar

Anna V.

Yelp
Deviled eggs. The greatest deviled eggs of all time are here. Come here, eat the deviled eggs, order a few more deviled eggs. I dream about these eggs. Beer is also fabulous and honestly everything on the menu is perfection. My only complaint is parking - when it's peak time, parking can be chaotic. Rideshare or bike if you plan to come at a busy time and save yourself the headache.

Yelp
Awesome beer, phenomenal food!!! I've driven by this place on a number of occasions and decided to stop by. Totally surprised by the food. The beers are great, a good selection but the food got me to come back. I tried the Barbecue Plate and it was amazing! Good quantities and tender! They recommend sharing but I would have non of that. We also had the Killer Shrimp! They give you bread but if you share it, they give you two. So delicious, I should have ordered it to go so I could have taken the sauce home. I so wanted more bread... On the return trip, I wanted to test the ribs. I was not disappointed, meat full of flavor and falling off the bone. And a good sized portion to boot. When I come back, I want to try the flat bread as it seems to be the crowd favorite. Be sure and get there early, there is a wait, but it goes fast. The servers and very knowledgeable and always give good advice on what beer to pair with your meal. The place is clean and neat, lots of space and just a great atmosphere. I did notice that they received some unfavorable reviews. Seriously, leave your dog at home, no need to trash a place where the beers are awesome and the food is phenomenal!!! Totally recommend, just don't go on Saturday Nights, I don't need more people taking my table!!!

Yelp
My friend recommended to eat at this restaurant because she said the food was great. I had never been and tried it on a Friday night around 7pm. It was busy but we got seated only waiting a couple minutes. I ordered the duck gumbo and man was it fire. The cornbread was by far my favorite. It was good texture, not dry at all and the flavor mixed with the gumbo was a great pairing. Then to top it off, our server Lala. Not only is the food bomb, but our server Lala is the best. I'll definitely be back to eat and chill with Lala.

J F.

Yelp
Food - shrimp pasta and brisket were above average, but portions were small for the price. Beer - tried ipa, sour, pale ale, stout, Pilsner. None stood out as great, a bit disappointing. Beer menu was very out of date, a lot fewer options than I expected, relied on server recommendations. Service - a bit pushy, rushed us through even though it wasn't crowded. Overpriced. Ambiance - more like a brunch diner than a brewery. No dogs allowed.
google avatar

Yelp
I finally came in to try this place. I enjoyed the vibe, very cozy. The service was quick and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the flavor of the brisket and BBQ sauce. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts and they come with delicious bacon and garlic.
google avatar

Sandra K.

Yelp
Yummy beer and food. Ordered a Hop Saint IPA and the kids Mac n cheese. Inside can get loud so if you want to have a more mellow experience sit outside in the shade.
google avatar

Yelp
Always great beer and grub. Also, one of the best wait staffs in the South Bay. Ive never been disappointed. Always love Pure Intention! FYI*They do have a NO dog policy.

Yelp
HopSaint Brewing in West Torrance just earned a new loyal fan. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat, and trust me--this first visit will definitely not be my last. The smoke-burnt ends chili? Pure heaven in a bowl. Smoky, savory, and absolutely bursting with flavor. Each bite was a masterpiece, and the way it paired with their hoppy IPAs was simply next-level. The brew selection here is clearly crafted with care, and the bold, refreshing notes of the beer only elevated the entire meal. And can we talk about the service? Attentive, friendly, and just as stellar as the fare. It's rare to find a spot that nails the trifecta: atmosphere, food, and service--but HopSaint does it effortlessly. If you're looking for a place where the food seduces your taste buds and the beer keeps you coming back for more, HopSaint is the spot. Five stars, without question. See you soon!

Yelp
Fantastic beers and an even more impressive kitchen menu. You can't miss. Try the pulled pork poutine... the cubano sandwich ... finish w the pecan pie. No matter what you choose you made the right decision.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious beer. Delicious food. Great service. Love coming to Hop Saint for a good bite and drink! Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Great vibe, food and awesome brew. Brussels Sprouts were amazing!! I highly recommend HopSaint for any occasion.
google avatar

Yelp
Great service, great food. The server gave helpful recommendations. The environment was relaxing and mellow, and they had a great blueberry cider.
google avatar

Jeremy R.

Yelp
Loveee this spot! All of the food here is sooo good and the beers are super refreshing. Super clean, nice look when you walk in and I've personally never had to wait to find a table/seat! The staff are all super friendly and helpful with any questions/recommendations. I've gotten the jidori chicken drumettes, roasted chicken and shrimp jambalaya, tri tip sandwich and the blackened catfish po boy and have loved all of them! Definitely a cool spot to try out :)
google avatar

Ian S.

Yelp
I'm not much of a beer drinker but everyone seems to like the choices. Since it's a brewery and not a BBQ joint, I'll stick with the four stars that they already have. Food-wise, meh. I've eaten here 4 times now and it always sounds good when the server describes the daily specials and the menu reads well but is has consistently been fatty, salty, meager portions of meat.... with meat (after beer) kind of being their thing, right? See pix of pastrami sandwich... some decent (and salty) goopy stuff on nicely toasted bread... good french fries... and what felt like two ounces of pastrami. Look, I know I'm not coming here for the health food but I am coming here for the MEAT (and beer) and the meat has always been underwhelming and over-salted.
google avatar

Jimmy S.

Yelp
This is a decent brewery with a variety of beers that's decent and one won that an award like pure intention. The staff is very nice and attentive. The menu itself is mostly bbq centric. The bbq food itself is ok. The flatbreads are decent. The food comes out at a reasonable rate. The atmosphere is a bit more lively and louder even though its a sit-down restaurant. So more like brewery vibe in terms of volume.
google avatar

Lynn R.

Yelp
Love their IPA's! My friend and I had a nice time chatting over it! Friendly staff and little Brewery

Yelp
FYI - No dogs allowed on the patio due to insurance(?) Not bashing the restaurant as they can make their own rules. Just wish this was posted on the website so we would've seen it before coming.
google avatar

Betty R.

Yelp
My husband looooooves IPAs and the hopsier the better. I on the other hand don't care for beer. I loooove the fact that Hop Saint has a NOLA twist. And has a wine list. We figured they would have a burger and/or a chicken burger. There is BBQ and gumbo. No etouffée. That's ok. I had the fried cat fish. Oh my... and pecan pie. All in all. A great night out.
google avatar

Kevin O.

Yelp
Perfectly cooked meat and cool spot. I ordered two entrees for myself and cornbread. I love trying new bbq places. If the bones come out clean, it means it's good. The food was cooked beautiful I got the smoke pork ribs. Comes with coleslaw or fries. The coleslaw tastes like L&L macaroni in cabbage form. That's a good thing. The ribs were good but I wasn't a fan of the glaze. It needed more bbq sauce. I was given chipotle bbq sauce which I also didn't like so I just dipped it in the brisket sauce. The combo works and I enjoyed it. The brisket was massive. The fatty parts were the best. I definitely could have ate that alone and been comfortable. The cornbread was different. I felt like I was eating a corn tamale, scallion pancake hybrid. Wouldn't order again but I'm glad a I tried it. Our waitress was very nice. There's a big ol parking lot so that's not a problem.
google avatar

Tiffany T.

Yelp
Nice to visit a brewery that also has really solid food options. Open dining area that's great for groups up to 8 ppl The portions are perfect for 4 ppl to share so you could easily double up on apps and starters to make it easy. Recommend the brisket, cornbread, flatbreads, and garlic fries (though everything was solid) The staff are really great and made recommendations for beer flights for the group. Food came out pretty fast so we weren't waiting around much at all!
google avatar

Angela A.

Yelp
Disappointed. Service was the worst. Fire Jasmine before she keeps your customers from ever coming back. Been going here for years but after tonight I'm more than happy to take my money elsewhere. Shrimp was overcooked. Ribs needed some barbecue sauce. Salad was good but with that non existent service the food ain't worth it. Literally got ignored the whole time.
google avatar

Nancy C.

Yelp
Everything we ordered was so good! Specially the chorizo flatbread. The garlic fried that came with the burger was also amazing.
google avatar

Merry L.

Yelp
Food is consistent and good Got the ribs- the coleslaw was delicious, ribs were tender just wish it had a sauce we could dip it in. Poutine fries were delicious Brussels sprouts delicious, Corn bread a little too oniony, was not was I expecting for cornbread but still good Service was good and fast Beer is good Would I come back? Yes.
google avatar

Kacie R.

Yelp
Such a fun little place to go. They have this delicious Brie cheese appetizer & good drinks!! The staff is super friendly too
google avatar

Kathryn T.

Yelp
Fantastic food. Great beer Good service. Sometimes a little loud but lots of families with cute kids.
google avatar

Vanesa R.

Yelp
This place is a GEM. This is by far one of the Best brewery's with Amazing food! Their beer selection is great and love that they have wine and Kombucha as well. Their goat salad is fantastic, their Mac n cheese is very flavorful and their Hopsaint Killer Shrimp is one of their best appetizers in my opinion. They have great plates for everyone and their dessert choices are great as well. Some of their longer tables are shared but not to the point where you are hearing each other's conversations. Ambiance is great, bathrooms are clean and the staff here are simply the best very courteous and quick. Theirs a bar area with TV's and if you wanna grab a quick beer or wait for your Table. There is a lot of parking so that's never a problem. Def a spot to hit up 10/10

Peter J.

Yelp
Fabulous food. Service friendly. Football and beer. What could be better? It's a great place for the family as well. There were quite a few kids eating there on a Sunday night .

Jeanette R.

Yelp
My favorite beers are here! I also love the food. Nice varietyof interesting items, and great BBQ. Only downside is it's too loud.
google avatar

Jeanette C.

Yelp
I've been a regular here for a little over 3 years now and let me tell you, this place never disappoints. The entire staff is wonderful! But I gotta give a shoutout to my fave servers Edith and Lala. Super attentive & friendly, and it's always a pleasure to run into them whenever I have a craving for the brisket plate, pulled pork poutine, pork ribs, mushroom medley, or key lime pie. Make sure to ask for their specials for every visit, if you're lucky - they'll have an off menu pastrami sandwich or a generous portion of braised short rib on top of cheesy grits. I love how the bar is full service too. If you're a solo diner, it's nice to just watch a game while enjoying your food & beer. Additionally, the bathroom is ALWAYS CLEAN. A major plus since some restaurants aren't as good about that. I'm at a point where I never doubt whether or not I'll have a pleasant dining experience here. Cheers to the staff for this local gem of a place! :")
