Best Anticipated Austin Restaurant Openings in 2023 | Eater Austin

"I discovered that Hopscotch, the 15-seat wine bar companion to Elementary, will be intentionally small and will use Elementary’s food waste to create an ever-changing menu of snacks." - Erin Russell

Austin Restaurant Elementary and Wine Bar Hopscotch Open on South Lamar | Eater Austin

"At 2032 South Lamar Boulevard this casual walk-in wine bar emphasizes wine and cocktails with a compact, playful program and smaller plates. Bottles will be available for retail purchase, and the cocktail list includes mini offerings called “Lil Sips,” a Rhubarb Snaquiri made with rabarbaro amaro, and the Bee Stang (Suntory Toki with Asian pears, shio koji, allspice, and Topo Chico), plus novelty formats like mini versions and Capri‑Sun–style pouches. Food focuses on small plates and New American–ish snacks that repurpose ingredients and parts not used at the neighboring restaurant to approach near zero-waste. The same trio of co-owners (Colter Peck, Chris Arial, and Allan Bautista) renovated the space themselves—previously home to Tiny Pies and, before that, Lick Honest Ice Creams—and there are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas. Hours are 4–11 p.m. daily for walk-ins, and the wine bar was noted as remaining open even if the adjacent restaurant later closed." - Nadia Chaudhury

Lone Star Beer Is Making Hard Seltzer in Texas | Eater Austin

"I read that San Antonio art gallery Hopscotch announced a pop-up series called Hop-Up to benefit the San Antonio Food & Wine Alliance, seeking Texas food businesses for two-month stints with a $1,000 monthly rent (inclusive of electricity and water) that will go to the nonprofit; applications are being accepted through May 7 and the pop-up court is aiming to open in June." - Nadia Chaudhury

We visited HOPSCOTCH on Christmas Eve 2025. The gallery wasn’t crowded, which made for a relaxed experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. We purchased a mocktail from the bar. While the flavor was decent, the price felt a bit high for the quality—it didn’t quite match expectations. As for the exhibits, some were enjoyable, especially those that combined sound and lights, which were our favorite. However, many installations seemed geared toward children, so this might be a better spot for families with kids. Overall, the experience was somewhat underwhelming compared to the description when we bought our tickets. Pros: Friendly staff Unique sound-and-light exhibits Not crowded Cons: Drinks overpriced for the quality Many exhibits felt more kid-oriented Overall experience didn’t fully match expectations

Google
Very fun place!! I took my mom (70 yrs old), she and I both had a great time checking out all the exhibits. I enjoyed exploring and interacting with so many things and how well explained they were.

Google
I absolutely loved it here! From the exhibitions to the service. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I loved how each exhibition allowed time for interaction and it was crowded so I didn’t feel rushed. They have a really good gift shop and a cool bar area in their lobby. I definitely think the price was worth the experience and that they have a great selection of rooms for you to enjoy!

Google
Visited over the weekend w/ my husband and we really enjoyed ourselves. Special shout out to Eve at the front desk and also to the female bartender who was working around 5:30om, sorry I didn’t get her name. On top of this being a cool and fun experience, those two ladies added to it with their overall outstanding customer service skills and genuine kindness. If you are considering adding this activity to your itinerary, please do, you won’t be disappointed!

Google
An Absolute Must-See Immersive Experience! I loved my visit to HOPSCOTCH in San Antonio, TX! This place is truly a unique gem and offered a fantastic experience from start to finish. It’s a massive space dedicated to interactive and immersive art, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The best part was the journey through every single room. Each installation felt like stepping into a new, distinct world—something completely different from the last. From light installations and optical illusions to hands-on kinetic exhibits, the variety was incredible. It’s impossible to be bored as you transition from one sensory experience to the next. I particularly appreciated how kids friendly the entire gallery is. Many art spaces feel restrictive, but Hopscotch actively encourages playful participation, making it a perfect outing for families. It truly is a playground for the senses, allowing both adults and children to explore, interact, and capture some amazing, colorful photos. If you are looking for an engaging, joyful, and utterly unique way to spend an afternoon in San Antonio, I highly recommend stopping by HOPSCOTCH!

Google
The experience was aligned with the price. I recommend making reservations online in advance or you may have to kill 2 hours if not. Cute bar with snacks and drinks downstairs while you wait. This was a fun experience for all ages. Self guided walking where each room is a new immersive experience. There is an exhibit with a low trampoline so bring socks to get the full experience of that one.

Alondra G.

Google
It was our first time here and we truly enjoyed this place. Awesome to take photos and walk through unique rooms. Ball pit was a hit for the little ones and the ladies who helped us were nice and informing. Price was good for us $40 for myself and my 5 year old. Be prepared to sign your waiver and enjoy yourself.

✨ Hopscotch: An Immersive Art Experience Review Hopscotch is an interactive art museum that has been widely celebrated for its vibrant, engaging atmosphere and its focus on hands on exploration. It moves away from the traditional "look-don't-touch" museum model, inviting visitors to become an active part of the art itself. Key Highlights from Visitor Reviews: * Interactive Exhibits: The core appeal is the unique blend of art and technology, allowing guests to interact with light, sound, and digital projections. People often describe feeling "weightless" and tapping into their "inner child" as they jump on laser trampolines or plunge into giant ball pits. * Vibrant and Unique Atmosphere: The entire space is designed to be a "feast for the senses." Visitors frequently mention the energy of the different, thematic rooms and the opportunity to capture fantastic, one-of-a-kind photos and videos. * Ideal for Groups and Dates: Whether you're celebrating an anniversary like you were, visiting with family, or a group of friends, the communal, playful nature of the exhibits makes for a memorable shared experience. * Beyond the Art: Hopscotch enhances the visit with a full bar/lounge area and often features live music and food trucks, creating a complete night-out destination rather than just a gallery visit. Popular and Standout Exhibits: While installations rotate, visitors frequently rave about the following types of experiences: * Quantum Trampoline: A crowd favorite, this exhibit turns bouncing into a cosmic, laser-light extravaganza. * Ball Pit/Deep Eddy Ball Pit: A massive, playful installation that is a hit with all ages. * Unknown Atmospheres (The Light Matrix): A shifting grid of thousands of suspended lights, creating an immersive, 4.1 surround sound experience perfect for beautiful photo ops. * Light-Based Mazes: Rooms like the 'Light Lines' maze, with illuminated strings or portals, which feel otherworldly and a little bit challenging to navigate. In short, Hopscotch is consistently lauded as a joyful, hands on, and highly memorable alternative to a conventional museum.

Yelp
A fun and engaging experience for kids and adults alike! I liked how interactive everything was, and also that it was real art by real artists, not just some canned instagram farm. They have a bar and you can bring drinks (coffee, booze, etc) with you from the bar into the exhibits. Bring socks for the ball pit!

Yelp
Had a great time. Was a bit pricey for very little things to do. It was like a very small meow wolf Still had fun, and took lots of pics Staff was very nice.

Yelp
Hopscotch is a fun and interactive space, great for anyone looking to try something different on the weekend. The modern art selections are especially enjoyable for big kids (like me) who like playful & hands-on experiences. The service is as expected, guests are welcomed at check-in based on reserved time & prices at the door are more expensive than on Groupon. The venue is on the smaller side, so you might have to wait your turn for some of the rooms. The installations lean more toward interactive experiences than traditional art. I am a fan of the telephone booths, where you get to hear people's deep dark secrets-- which also made me wonder how much of it are true? I guess I'll never know. Anywho, the bar is small but friendly and adds to the overall vibe. It's a unique place to visit at least once if you're in the mood for something out of the ordinary.

Yelp
This place was a blast. Drinks are also great. My wife and I loved it so much that we took our kids to the Portland location.
google avatar

Joyce K.

Yelp
This is a cool place to visit with all the art they have and a lot of it is interactive. Is it the best ever place? No! It could be much better than it is... it is sufficient for whatever is offered in San Antonio. They could improve it in so many ways specially with the price! Service is on point, you are greeted nicely and everyone is very helpful and polite They truly could have more selection of interactive art. I wasn't really impressed with that part They do have a cafe at the entrance where you can order drinks and few food items. Overly priced and selection very limited. If I go back I would probably go eat somewhere else nearby
google avatar

Chelsea L.

Yelp
Cute art installations! But I think it's good for just one visit. They have things to see upstairs and downstairs. I wish they were more clear about where they want you to start looking as all the groups are supposed to move in one direction. My boyfriend and I accidentally went downstairs first because we saw an arrow but we were told by staff to go up as that part was the last section. Besides the hopscotch on the floor, I don't think the art installations have a clear theme to hopscotch. I like the plastic bag cave room the best! It looks really cool. Be sure to buy tickets in advance as they typically sell out. If you park in the garage, they validate at the gift shop so you pay $7 for a 3 hour stay.
google avatar

Yelp
Hopscotch is great. In comparison to a place like Wonderspaces, I'd say Hopscotch exhibits are on the whole a bit more immersive and admit more interaction. Upon entering Hopscotch, you'll be placed into the nifty, well-lit foyer where you can check-in and where the bar area sits. The staff encourage you to grab a drink, one which you can carry with you throughout the exhibits. Whether you've decided to quench your thirst with a beverage or not, you'll head downstairs. There are plenty of exhibits: an illuminated ball pit, several illusions, rooms full of light, audio exhibits, and also a several where you can be the artist, digitally rendered. The hanging lights one is especially fun, since it is enclosed behind blackout curtains. That one, and the last exhibit were a blast. For the drink, I obtained a Starlit Friends, which had a nice jelly bean finish. Would I consider coming back in the future? Absolutely.

Yelp
Hopscotch Art Immersive was an incredible experience. I wish they have this in my city, and they change exhibits from time to time. They curate local and international artists to make this happen. You can either get your tickets online or onsite, with several options to go in the evening. It's about 5 minutes by walk away from the Riverwalk and you'll notice a glass structure with a bar of a couple fun drink options you can enjoy. The check-in process was really easy. I bought my ticket online, so I just showed them the ticket and went inside. I think the pricing is a bit more expensive than what it is worth as I had anticipated more exhibits. My favorite art display was the rabbit hole, which is a glass structure of a rabbit jumping down. It's the first thing you see in this exhibit. Flash is not allowed inside. The maze was pretty cool. I think the crystal cave was a bit of a letdown as it was an illusion from plastic bags. Everything else looked amazing though, and is great to go with a group of friends. Their gift shop had fun items and postcards you can buy when you finish the exhibit. If you have the chance, try out their drinks. I had the crystal unicorn rainbow one. It was so sour and so good. It was refreshing after that tipsy tirvy of an exhibit. What topped it off the most was the kind and welcoming nature of the people here. If they had it in San Francisco, I would definitely go again.

Yelp
If you go alone or with a small group of adults, plan to spend an hour here. If you like taking lots of photos to post to social media, plan to spend 90 minutes here. If you go with children, especially small children, plan to spend two hours here. The children will want to spend a lot of time playing in the ball pit and trampoline exhibit. Overall, Hopscotch is a fun place to visit one time, and the exhibits are great at playing with your sense of sight, some of them almost putting you into a trance. Make sure you wear socks to go on the trampoline, and bring hand wipes if you're a germaphobe!
google avatar

Maddie L.

Yelp
The art is great and for adults this is a perfect date spot. BUT if you have kids here's a few things to know, you need to bring socks for all the littles otherwise you have to buy them for 2 of the exhibits. Most things you can't touch (understandable, it's art) so for any children under 5 it may be a bit boring. For the phones/secrets room I HIGHLY recommend you DONT let your child listen to the recorded secrets because people just let loose and we heard some disturbing things. Thankfully my child didn't understand that the person talking was a recording and just talked at them instead of listening. I also did find it a bit weird that when my husband and daughter did the trampoline and I chose to sit out they both left their shoes under me at the bench I sat on and the employee kind of freaked out a little ? Just started not quite yelling but loudly saying "No, put them in the cubby!" Which okay, fine. But it did throw both my husband and I for a loop. As for the cost it's $24 per adult $15 per child over 3 which is about what we've come to expect from most places. Over all it was a good visit but I do think this is more of a date spot or adult activity than family event.

Yelp
This was our first experience with an immersive/ interactive art exhibit and it impressed my wife and I. My favorite part was the Quantum Trampoline, a large interactive video projection you can influence by moving around in the trampoline area. Another was 11,000 bulbs set to flash to music and you can wander through it, the music in all the exhibits was amazing. I'll have to look for something similar closer to home and drag our grandkids through it when they get a little older.
google avatar

Hope M.

Yelp
Amazing staff, many cool exhibits, and well organized! I would definitely recommend getting there as early as possible or going during off hours as that's what we did and it made the experience much more enjoyable. It allows you to fully enjoy the art without feeling rushed. My favorite part was the end with the giant trampoline! A must do if you're in the area.

Yelp
This was a really cool place to go, especially for a Sunday Funday spent out of the heat and indoors :) ! I specifically chose the 10 am slot so I could get in before the majority of the crowd would come. It only took me an hour to get through everything because I came early. It definitely helped to come early to take photos and enjoy the art installations before an influx of people came. But everyone was very respectful of eachother, and both the employees and other guests were very friendly and offered to take photos :D ! Guests are asked to respect and not to touch the carefully set up art installations. Some displays had very funky and quirky music, whereas others were more toned down. My favorite was the Quantum Trampoline :D ! I loved running around and jumping on what seemed like a huge jumping playground just for me :) ! Haha :D ! A super nice employee took photos and videos for me since I came solo :) ! I purchased my ticket through Groupon, which saved a few dollars. But overall, the general ticket prices through the Hopscotch website itself are pretty reasonable. For adults, it was about $27 per person. After the Quantum Trampoline section, you exit through a gift shop and into a lounge. I ordered a non-alcoholic Celestial Unicorn drink, and it was very refreshing ;) ! However, they also have cocktails and alcoholic beverages for guests who would like those instead ;) ! I would highly recommend this for singles, couples and families :D ! There is a little something for everyone :) ! Be sure to wear socks since you'll need to wear these for art installations like the Quantum Trampoline and the color-changing balls :) ! You'll have to remove your shoes, but you'll still need to wear your socks to participate in these activities :) !

Yelp
Absolutely an amazing art experience. I go to a lot of immersive art spaces but this one felt and looked different and I loved it! Lana was fun and amazing. The ball pit and trampoline were a fun touch. Definitely recommend! They offer a senior and military discount. They also have a bar.

Yelp
Here we go, So I was in San Antonio, Texas visiting my mother. However my sister & cousins and I wanted to find something fun, but yet different to do. So we found this place downtown on the riverwalk. It was definitely different . I would describe it as fun, adventurous, exciting and inspiring. FYI parking is in the garage next door. I was surprised that there was a waiting list and a line for this place. It was pretty crowded. The way it works is you have to register online to pay as well as hold a time slot to view as well as be part of the entertainment. The amount per person was 20 dollars. As you walk through the glass doors you will first see the bar. Pricing of the drinks were a bit too much. There was one drink we tried that was not all that great but hey that's just my opinion. It was so bad I can't remember what it was lol. Our time slot was at 3.30pm. After we visit the bar we headed downstairs jumped hopscotch lol and proceeded to jump around in the ball pit. From there we went into numerous rooms which was very interesting. Wall of mirrors and light entertainment was amazing.. There were many areas and rooms however some rooms were more fun than others. Very Very colorful in some areas. Overall this place was great entertainment . Happy yelping...

Yelp
One of the coolest places to visit on a vacation!! Raised in Houston Tx, with family both in ca & Texas, this trip was super special & important. Hubby booked the tickets & planned for a family day at the river walk after our "surprise stop". A surprise indeed!! Not just any art gallery..immersed for sure & completely blown away. Our 19, 8 & 1 year old were totally fascinated by every aspect of this space. What a great place & very smartly designed. Definitely check this out if you are in San Antonio Tx
google avatar

Vy T.

Yelp
Love this fun and interactive art museum. I won't spoil all the "secrets" but there is a wide variety of interactive art displays, opportunities for you to participate in graffiti art, illusion art, trampolines, and more. Very fun to go with others to. Worth the value. Also, they had people around in case you had questions or needed a photo - great and friendly service.
google avatar

Felina S.

Yelp
Came with whole family for staycation adventure. Ages from 11-65 in our group and everyone enjoyed themselves. Be sure to wear socks because some areas that are interactive require no shoes but always socks. Be mindful that it can get busy so reservations are best. Takes about 45min to 1.5 hours depending on how long you stay in certain areas. The variety of interactive art work is very good, most kid friendly and an enjoyable experience. Was a bummer that one attraction was closed for some reason It was easy to check in if you pre complete the waiver. The staff are stationed around and are helpful. The bar area is a nice waiting area. The drink selection is great- even some special kid friendly non alcoholic beverages. The pricing could be a bit easier on the wallet but about the same as any other museum in town. Bathrooms were in desperate need of some cleaning though!!
google avatar

Tomas R.

Yelp
What a fun and unique way to spend a few hours with friends or little ones if you have kids in the mix. Hopscotch features a bunch of art installations that are interactive and immersive for you to enjoy. They have a full bar available to enjoy including signature cocktails and zero-proof, craft beers, and wine. Reservations are key but it does look like you can do walk-ins if available. This is such a neat space to enjoy and they validate parking with their respective parking lot. I'll definitely be back when they feature new spaces down the road!
google avatar

Tevita U.

Yelp
Fun kid friendly museum! Great customer service, friendly staff! First time here and my kids loved every exhibit was awesome!
google avatar

Shannen M.

Yelp
Such a cute venue and great immersive experience. My girls, 21 and 14 both loved it. Each room experience was better than the last. Gift shop had great items, reasonably priced. Alcoholic drink cart in one room. Employees were king and helpful. We loved it!
google avatar

Kassie M.

Yelp
Great place to view and experience local artist's work. Lots of opportunities for photos. Interactive throughout. Jumping area at the end. Bathrooms are so cool too. Lovely, versatile place to take the kids and for a date night.
google avatar

Vanessa F.

Yelp
Very cool! We set up our date for early in the morning. It definitely was a different kind of experience. We started off in the ball pit and the end was the best part. I won't ruin it for those who haven't been. It's definitely a must go place for a fun date. You can't bring in outside drinks but you can order in their bar. After you're done with the museum there is a gift shop that has some cute little souvenirs to buy. I definitely will go again.
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
The venue was perfect and this that worked there were helpful and friendly. After heading down to the exhibits and young guy came up to my wife and I. He introduced himself and said he'd be around to answer questions and take pictures if we wanted. The exhibits were great, very interesting. We had so much fun.
google avatar

Adian S.

Yelp
This place was SO COOL! Like every room I walked into I was like "holy smokes look at this! Look at that!" It was definitely enjoyable and tickets weren't too terribly expensive either. Theres even a ball pit! The only down side is that it's located smack dab in the middle of downtown which is not the best area and the roads are truly terrible around there. Parking... nightmare on Navarro St. BUT I would definitely go back.
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
Great experience. Added nicely to our vacation. Can't wait to come back. If you're an adult, make sure you go to the adult section. The kids section is something different.
google avatar

Shradha A.

Yelp
We had a fabulous time at Hopscotch! I appreciated that this experiential museum was not just an Instagram backdrop (which it certainly was) but also an actual sensory treat - some exhibits were sight and sound, others were motion and sight, or just a shift in energy levels. It was an actual activity vs some similar places that are simply a photo opp. Check-in was quick and easy. We spent about 2hrs and didn't feel rushed at all. The space was clean and certain exhibits had attendants to help. It was busy but not so much that we had to wait more than 5-minutes for our turn. Wear comfortable footwear, but a couple of exhibits require socks. Go in light - don't carry large bags etc.
google avatar

Jackie S.

Yelp
This is a must if you're in San Antonio. The customer service was extremely welcoming and friendly. The drinks are just as creative and beautiful as the museum. It was an amazing experience and it's worth the money to go at least once. I recommend wearing comfortable clothes and socks for the ball pit and trampoline. It was a surreal experience and worth it's value. Perfect date, friends activity, and family friendly as well.
google avatar

Avi T.

Yelp
It was worth every penny! All rooms were different with interactive piece in each. From lights with visual effects to phones that told secrets this place is great for all ages. There was a huge ball pit when you first walk in and it was super fun to play in! We went in the ball pit twice it was just so fun and we couldn't pass up going into it again! My personal favorite exhibit however was the secret hotline one. When you walk in you're greeted with phones and 2 phone booths where you can share your own secret that will be played for others! I heard some heartwarming stories and some sad ones. It really did remind me about the human experience and how beautiful it is. All the employees were very welcoming and accommodating to every guest there. After the art exhibit we went upstairs to the bar where they have a whole selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. I got the frozen lemonade which was so delicious in this heat! It was nice and sour which is just how I like my lemonade. After finishing up our drinks we headed over towards the gift shop which was filled with interesting and silly artworks. We ended up buying only a few things but a notable purchase was a cute shark popping out of a Ceral bowl!
google avatar

Mildred J.

Yelp
What a wonderful place. The art is immersive, inspiring and thought provoking. The staff is really nice and cool as well. There's also a cool lounge area to hang out with friends before and after you see the exhibits. RECOMMENDED!
google avatar

Paul C.

Yelp
Very limited in the variety of options. Confining and blah! I saw that they have a new show. I'm going to try it again with an open mind. I did buy a T-shirt.
google avatar

Josh G.

Yelp
Definitely a memorable experience. The ball pit and the trampoline were probably some of the best exhibits along with the drinks.
google avatar

Jocelyn B.

Yelp
Such a beautiful experience! We were visiting from out of town and absolutely recommend checking it out. We took such great photos that we still go back and look at as memories!
google avatar

Karmen K.

Yelp
This place is so much fun! I went with my husband and teenage daughter and we all had a blast. The staff was nice and great at explaining everything. We stopped at their bar and grabbed beers and a mocktail to enjoy while we walked around. There were so many fun and creative exhibits to explore and interact with.

Cory T.

Yelp
Definitely a cool museum. There is nothing else like it in the San Antonio area. I honestly wish that it was three or four times larger than what it currently is, the level of content is very good, and it would be interesting to see it on an even larger scale.
google avatar

Jaesel P.

Yelp
A cute date spot !! whether you go with friends or a loved one or even with family. There's an underground gigantic ball pit which is so much fun ! (Wear socks though!) and they have art and different rooms you get to explore. The color room was my favorite. When I went they had a telephone room where people left their secrets and when you picked up the phone you could hear others secrets. I thought that was pretty neat. It's downtown area so parking around it is tricky but there's garages near it.
google avatar

Mitzi M.

Yelp
If you want to splurge a little bit, try this place. You can order a drink at the bar, or choose to pay the $25 entry free to the interactive art displays. They are really spectacular. I don't even want to post too many pictures because you should be surprised when you go. No parking at venue.
google avatar

Vineet S.

Yelp
Loved it so much, came here for a team building exercise with my team during our offsite in San Antonio. We are so glad we came here, this exhibit provides such a fresh angle to art with lights. We were blown away by all the exhibits they had, there were quite unique. Staff was super helpful as well. We were able to grab some drinks before we entered, the bar had just a unique and great options for both mocktails and cocktails. I'd highly recommend coming here as this is a great activity for everybody(couples, families, kids etc.)
google avatar

Samantha B.

Yelp
Hopscotch is a super fun place to check out with friends, on a date, with kids, or with family! Whatever group you go with, the interactive exhibits provide plenty of opportunities for photo ops and hands-on immersion into the art. Do be aware, the exhibit is not particularly large and while there are quite a handful of installations, it can be easy to blow through them too quickly! Take your time to really soak in the meaning of it and your money will be well spent!

Jael M.

Yelp
Fun and interesting at the same time!! They have many interactive experiences that guests can engage in .
google avatar

Anna W.

Yelp
I visited Hopscotch with a girlfriend to experience their newest exhibition and we loved the experience. The different rooms provide so many individual experiences that peak your imagination. We have been back a few times already with different friends.
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
Fun experience but unfortunately did not meet expectations. I would like to see more of interactive art and less of laser light projection. Definitely worth trying at least once if you have never been to a similar experience, staff is very friendly and great experience for families.

Yelp
My husband & I had a unique date night at Hopscotch on Valentine's Day & we definitely had a great time. I've been wanting to check this place out since it opened and I was excited to find out they just input new artist exhibits. We entered through the bar area which is beautifully decorated and colorful, with tons of comfortable seating to lounge in. The bartenders were very attentive, kind, and quick to recommend a yummy drink! Drink prices weren't terrible either. Taste was 9/10 for mixed drink, and a 10/10 for the appearance of the drinks. There was a good selection of drinks as well. The museum is actually downstairs from the bar and you can view it at your own pace in any order you choose like a regular museum. Each experience you were completely immersed into the moment you walked into it. My favorite is the secrets room where I wish I could've spent more time. Very unique and I like that it's kid friendly too (don't want to give it away for those who haven't experienced yet but I'd let my kids immerse themselves in this room as well). I did see a few families there with children and I'd say it's definitely kid friendly but I'd recommend at least elementary aged (use your best judgement for maturity level and if they can stay by your side so not to ruin experiences for others). Overall the ambiance was aesthetically pleasing yet there was something that was left to be desired. Maybe the experience wasn't long enough and we gave ourselves 2 hours to enjoy it. However, we were finished within 45 minutes even taking our time and that just left me wanting more. The price point doesn't seem to match the overall experience. ($15 would be a fair entry in my honest opinion.) I'd definitely return for the fun photo ops and to see different artists installations.

Yelp
I didn't know what to expect going into this experience, but this was such a fantastic art exhibit. The layout of all the exhibits were perfect, and there was so much to see/do. Each exhibit was better than the next. The bar had so many unique drinks as well. We had the crystal ball drink where the blue glitter would numb your tongue, and overall the drink was extremely tasty. I can't wait to go back and take more friends. This is such a hidden gem in San Antonio.

Yelp
All in all the experience was a super fun time. We got here kind of late and we didn't know there was all this extra stuff to do so we hit it at the last minute and one of the employees went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and special and walked us through the thing. It was just such a great experience. I will definitely be back. I will definitely be bringing people here to just kind of check it out and have a good time if more museums Wereinteractive, I think more people will go. It was a fun time and a good experience the service was great. People were kind the atmosphere was absolutely fun and carefree. You can just enjoy yourself here.

Yelp
Cool interactive and immersive art museum. The drinks they offer are neat as well, $13 for a cocktail & you can take it throughout the experience and you can keep the cup afterwards. There is a ball pit which brought my inner child out (make sure to bring socks for it) And the other rooms were interesting but I thought the whole experience was short. I wish there were more rooms to explore, honestly. However, you can take as much time needed in each room to really make the experience worth it! Worth checking out!

Yelp
We had a wonderful time here!! We spent two hours here exploring the interactive rooms and the art. We were able to take lots of great pictures and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We spent $55 for two people, which was a good price considering all the fun we had and all the pictures we were able to take. I will definitely return next time I have visitors I town.

Yelp
We had so much fun! Lots of variety and I definitely recommend for all ages. A great place to get your teenagers out with you. Those with teenagers all know it's a struggle to get them to participate in family events without bribery. My teenage sons willingly participated in all of the exhibits. Lots of smiles, great pictures and memories! Don't want to share too much so that it can be an adventure to discover !
