Let's start with the good; fast and friendly service plus a ton of great local beer selection.
The Bad - the pizza was terrible. I'm starting to see a theme of the west coasts inability to put together a satisfying pie.
The Meatzza pizza is the abomination in the pictured; equipped with red sauce, pepperoni, sausage, salami, grilled ground beef (?), and bacon. It's tough to pick a start point to describe this poorly made dish, but the overwhelming feature of being undercooked does no favors it. The cheap out on placing one super thin slice of sandwich pepperoni on each predetermined slice says they are cutting corners on cost. Putting all of the sausage and grilled ground beef in the center not only left it colder than the rest of the pizza but also jazzed up the appearance by giving you a greasy starter bite for every slice. The low cost salami was both tasteless and thinner than a super model from the 80's. I'm presuming there's a tomato sauce shortage on the west coast due to their minimum usage of a base sauce. To make up for all of the short comings the offering, I believe the creator of this cuisine is on a quest to rid Sacramento of vampires with the abundance of garlic. One other pet peeve of mine, why thin cheese out on the crust to burn it and then sprinkle cheese on afterwards...?
