My wife raved about going here when they first opened.
Finally, we made a reservation to have dinner with family who was in town.
First. The place is ridiculously loud.
Second, the server took our drink order and then promptly told us the kitchen would be busy, so we should place our order quickly. It seemed odd, but sometimes that happens. We figured the server knew better than we did. So we ordered some appetizers and our entrees.
Third. Everything came out together. I mean, this is restaurant 101. Now I was beginning to feel rushed. This isn't a chain restaurant. Again. I took a deep breath and nodded.
Never once asked how our food was.
Never once asked if we'd like another drink.
We were asked if we wanted dessert, when we replied no, she asked if we wanted to-go containers. Again feeling rushed. But again, deep breaths. My wife was finishing her cocktail after all.
Then the manager came over. Asked us if he could buy us a round. I thought, heck, maybe he noticed the terrible service. Nope. He wanted us to move to the bar. With a child. You know, they explained, they need the table. We politely declined the drink. We've all had seen quite enough for one night.

First and last time. Check.
My wife was embarrassed when her sister replied that she can't ever recall being asked to get off a table. She was our guest for the evening. Really one of the worst dining experiences in recent memory.
