"This meticulously manicured oasis in a quiet neighborhood also happens to be one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world. Here you’ll find countless flower species, a butterfly habitat (kids love this part), tropical hothouses, and gigantic, night-flowering water lilies. The grounds are not too vast, so you can see them in their entirety in a few hours. As is the case with most of Amsterdam’s best activities, there’s a lovely café on site. "

Be mindful that this place is located in botanical gardens so you need to buy ticket to enter (13€). All the dishes we got at the cafe were flavorful and delicious; fresh and healthy ingredients. Overall dining experience was very peaceful and made me happy :)

Lovely little cafe in the botanical garden. It was fully busy on a Sunday morning so better to be early or reserve if possible. The food was absolutely delicious with great service and atmosphere!!!

Great service and good food. The place has a nice and calm atmosphere and you get away from the city within the city. The café’s location and building is astonishing. The café have a great selection of cakes that tastes good and is a must try if you are there.

Beautiful place to enjoy your brunch or glass of wine. Went in for lunch with a friend on a rainy day. Greenhouse-like space is a perfect place to pop by after a stroll in the botanical garden. Food was well prepared, but pricey but Amsterdam price so not so out of the ordinary. Only thing is the sounds echo a lot in the building of course so beware if you're looking for a quiet spot.

Enjoyed the daily sweet potato and fennel soup as well as the Gulpener beer on tap. Sat in the evening sun after a relaxing walk in the Botanical garden. The longer opening hours on a Sunday was a welcome bonus.

Relatively simple menu but good quality food for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Nice desserts and great hot drinks. Atmosphere and decorations are so well-thought within the context. Great taste of decorations and food overall! Definitely worth doing a pause here when you visit the garden!

Lovely serene outdoor setting. A lovely way to take a break during your visit to the botanical gardens or to take a rest after your visit and before moving on. The menu includes light snacks only apart from one 3 course meal which is advertised daily. There is some indoor seating and the restrooms are modern and clean.
