We stayed the first time in Bethlehem, and Hosh Al-Syrian was like a calm oasis for us! The guesthouse is very beautiful, the staff very friendly (only women, we admired this!) and the location is just perfect, next to Manger square, bit in a very quiet neighbourhood. The breakfast was surprisingly big, veeerrry tasty, but just too much for us. We felt sorry for the food waste.

Stunning!||I often come in Palestine, and after a few years, Hosh Al-Syrian still remains my favourite place to stay in.||It is not only welcoming, and decorated with a perfect taste, it is also a place where you will be able to find peace and quietness watching an amazing sunset while you take a sip of one of the best Palestinians wine. ||The owner is as good for hosting than he is for cooking. You will rarely find meat and fish perfectly cooked again during your trip like you will be able to taste in this guest-house. ||Choosing this guest-house is guaranteeing satisfaction regarding the location, the dinner, the view, the comfort and most of all the conviviality and sympathy we are all looking for in our trips! Enjoy and may you take a look to the sunset on the rooftop for me!

We spent one night in Bethlehem at this charming guest house. We were welcomed with cool orange juice and friendly smiles. Fatima and the rest of the staff made us feel at home. Our room was very comfortable. If I were to go back, I would try other rooms for the fun of it and stay longer.

Awesome host! She made sure there is sufficient food for us! Beautiful view from property. Generally very safe and secure place. Host helped us with order of dinner and calling of cabs. Location of property is about 15mins drive to the Church of Navitity.

What a place this is, a calm retreat from the hordes of faithful visiting the Church of the Nativity.||The rooms are generously sized and very clean for the price, I stayed in an $80 room and thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay. The breakfast is huge and filling, and make sure you book an evening meal cooked by the owner... a 5 course dinner yummy.||The staff were pleasant and very helpful and friendly, could not fault in any way.||My room had wifi even though the website says it is only in the common areas, I assume it's changed.||The only gripe is the piped music at 7am each morning, a wake up certainly. It would not put me off staying here however.||Great place, great location, highly recommended.

An excellent, very interesting establishment. Rooms were good and beds comfortable. Food was also plentiful and varied. Only niggle was a shower curtain that remained several inches wide of the shower base and so a lot of mopping up was needed. Otherwise, first class.

What an incredible place! Beautiful and serene, the rooms are very charming and the breakfast is one of the best I've had in this region. Definitely a place to stay when in Bethlehem. Great location and very friendly staff.
