Loved the burgers with cheddar cheese cooked inside the meat. The buns weren’t great but overall I enjoyed it. Had fries covered with queso. The cheese sauce settled in bottom of basket. The drink cups are small requiring multiple trips to the drink counter. Larger cups please. Had some frozen custard. Tasty!

My husband and I stopped here for lunch in the middle of a road trip. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the service was excellent. The server was quick and prompt and very kind. My husband ordered the Hoss’s burger and I ordered the Cordon Moo burger. Both burgers came out well cooked and juicy. The combination of flavors was excellent. The fries were mealy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Excellent food. I also spilled some ice and water near the end of our visit and the manager was very courteous and kind with coming to clean it up promptly. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

This was the first time I tried this burger joint. I just found them on google and decided to try them out. The burger I had was great. The loaded fries were amazing, definently should be shared as it is a large portion. I did not get a chance to try the frozen custard, but I will the next time I stop by this place. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Check this place out for sure.

Google
First time here and was pleasantly surprised. Burgers were delicious and they have multiple fry options that you can choose from such as Cajun, and Loaded Queso. Definitely try this out if you are looking for a new burger restaurant to try.

Google
Just found Hoss’ on google maps today. My husband and I didn’t hesitate to try it. In all the reviews no one mentioned Juicy Lucy. What a surprise. And yes the burgers are a little pink in the middle but that’s how you cook a juicy Lucy. Burgers , fries and onion rings all delicious. I forgot about the potato salad so I got that to go. It was great. Great customer service and very clean restaurant.

Google
Good burger with a nice selection of toppings to choose from such as onion straws. The sweet potato fries were tasty. My wife ordered a hot fudge sundae made with frozen custard that was delicious. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere, overall nice experience.

Google
Similar to a Five Guys atmosphere. Burgers and fries were really good! They were very accommodating to my milk allergy. My son & I totally enjoyed it.

Google
Pretty nice patio to enjoy some burgers and fries. The burgers were good and had good flavor. Fries were awesome! I tried th license to dill burger of the month and it was good but seemed like a lot of bread. My boyfriend tried the Hoss. We would go back! Decent parking people the restaurant.

Yelp
Hoss' Loaded Burgers Food Truck has been cruising and slinging burgers and fries around Nashville area since 2011! I have seen Hoss' out and about around the city from time to time, and when not parked in the city, I find them outside of our office building slinging burgers to our team...we usually invite them to feed us quarterly. Always a great day at the office when Hoss' pulls up! The menu they have at the office is usually a limited menu with a few of their staple burgers. 100% understand the need given the mass of people with limited time to wait. When around the city, they add a couple extra burgers...but all in all, the menu is minimal, which means they do the few burgers on the board really well! Maybe it is not on feature much anymore, but the cheese stuffed burger was a phenomenal burger, I mean who doesn't love a good ole "juicy lucy"!? My go-to burger is the Blackbird with a side of Cajun Fries. Blackbird is a classic cheeseburger with Cajun spices, lettuce, mayo and bacon. Absolute perfection! Fries are solid, always cooked fresh and decently plentiful. Outside of the cheese stuffed burger, the burgers are smash-burger style. The patties have been hit and miss on occasion, but when they are good, they are really good! They also allow minimal modification, which I take advantage of sometimes, like my latest order where I opted for an extra patty and no bun. Overall, Hoss' Loaded Burgers is a great truck to visit. Any parking lot they are camped out in is a parking lot I would like to swing through!

Yelp
The Mary Poppins from Hoss's. WOW! A smash burger with jalapenos, bacon, cheese, and fried onion straws (added). Hoss's signature burger is melted cheese inside the patty but this was top-notch and competes with the best. Combined with Parmesan Fries, a truly fabulous truck food fare. Check them out and let them know that Lonny sent you.

Yelp
Grabbed a burger here for nye, as they were one of the food trucks available. Didn't have many options; actually our only option was the old timer burger. Got it minus the mayo and onion. Fries on the side. Burger is filled with cheese which want bad. Overall burger was okay. Undercooked; was not asked temperature. Came out medium; which grossed me our as they should've been cooked thoroughly. Needless to say, I didn't finish my burger. Fries were probably the best part of the meal. They were Parmesan fries. Wouldn't stop back in; wasn't impressed.

Yelp
Oh food trucks. You guys are everywhere now! And coming to Nashville definitely wanted me to check out more! I stumbled upon Hoss' loaded burgers during a Banjo park/music event and decided to check it out. The Hoss burger was moist, bacon was good, however the BBQ sauce was a little overpowering, but overall very solid burger especially from a food truck. It was quick and easy as you just go up to the counter, order, they swipe cards so no worry about not having cash. This burger cured my craving for food as the drinks were flowing while listening to some nice banjo/bluegrass music. The one thing that I didn't care for was their fries. They were alright, and what's up with the no ketchup?! I had to go back to ask for some, and they only gave me a couple of packs whereas the amount of fries that came with it needed more than just a couple. The burger saved them in my opinion, next time I'll be checking out their loaded burgers.

Yelp
We are having Food Truck Fridays at work on the first Friday of every month. I was very excited to see this one for our June Friday. I've heard a lot about these cheese stuffed burgers and couldn't wait to try one myself. We got to the truck as soon as they started serving. There were only three people ahead of us. I ordered the Old Timer with the salt fries and 15 minutes later it was ready for me to pick up. The food is cooked once you order and then they call your name when it is ready. The line got really long so I was thankful that we were some of the first to order. The burger was cooked perfectly and the cheese was melted goodness. The salt fries were very good but more salt than I was prepared for so I will try the cajun fries next time. I hope this food truck returns in future months so I can try a different burger and the cajun fries.

Yelp
If you like a delicious, runny egg on your burger - you are out of luck. Last year when this food truck stared coming to our office, I was so excited because I love a "juicy lucy" type burger. My first order was amazing - a perfectly seasoned burger with bacon and a perfect, runny egg. Ive tried to get that same thing the last 2 times- but they break the yolk...which then gets absorbed into the bun. Today i thought- one more time. I asked for no bun, and specifically told them not to break the yolk. When i picked it up, the girl at the window was like "sorry! We accidentally broke the yolk!" I was surprised that they never thought to just redo the egg. Now I have a burger with a well done fried egg and mustard + trace amounts of yolk all over the paper. Hoss peeps - please slow down and go back to serving your food the way you would want to eat if. If you can't give the customer the "extra" that they pay for, don't put it in your menu.

Yelp
This is a 1st for me. The name tells you that your in for a Big Burger, haha. 1st guess this was wrong should have been the 6oz plastic cup for water next the bun was twice the size of a dry piece of some kind of meat. My friend got the burger wrap hahaha. It was two pieces of head lettuce, one on either side of her dry burger. Oh I didn't mention there was so much salt on both burgers? Well there was, yuck past yuck. So if you want a high priced, no flavor, too salty & soooooo overpriced burger, this your spot. Lastly, the "wrapped burger" costs more! There is nothing lower than 1 star or that definitely would have been! Shame on you BOSS BURGERS

Yelp
These burgers are soooo good! I ordered the Sherry and the parm fries and they were both amazing. The guys were super nice and very fast even though it was a warm day and they were really busy. Thank you!!

Yelp
This is the most disorganized food truck I have ever been to. I found the staff to be rude & short to all their customers due to being busy & understaffed & the wait in the freezing cold for a basic burger was around 20-25mins...they need more than just two people running the truck & need a better system. The burger seemed small at first (really wanted a double but they didn't have enough meat for a double) but w the burger being stuffed it was the right amount of food.

Yelp
Burgers stuffed with cheese? Sure. I'll try that. On a recommendation from my boyfriend I tried Hoss food truck. I was happy with what I received. We located the truck from the Nashville food truck app. There wasn't much of a line but I think it was because it was at some market day thing a Lipscomb & it was pretty cold out. I ordered the Hoss burger. It was stuffed with cheese & had bacon & sauce and stuff. I honestly don't know what the menu said, I just picked that & some Cajun fries & went back to standing in the cold. The wait was what you'd expect from a food truck. The guys in the truck were nice, the order taker was a little absent minded, he forgot to give change back for a soda & then forgot soda, but all good. The burger is large. It being cold & we not attending the event, we at in the car. This burger is not an easy one to eat. It's large & the cheese is messy, it oozes out like an abscess. I know that's gross, but we've all seen the video with the pimple on that guys back. Anyway, with each bite more of the cheese comes pouring out. Make sure you've got wet wipes in the car or pocket when eating. The taste of the burger was good, however my boyfriends looked a little too pink inside. The Cajun fries were good, VERY salty, but good. I think they batter the fries a little before the cook them. They have a great crunch. Overall I liked the food. Would I get it every week? No, the burger is too messy for me & the oil/cheese spilling out of the burger is too much. I'd probably like just a slice of cheese on top. I love salty food but the fries were a little too salty, maybe 1/4 less seasoning & they'd be perfect.

Yelp
In my crazy drive to conquer the world of food trucks, I delved back into a juicy burger from Hoss' Loaded Burgers on Friday night. But, it was not just any burger that I indulged. It was the famous (well, famous if you follow Hoss' on Twitter or follow NashFoodTrucks on Twitter... but I've digressed)... the famous Hoss' Double! That's right fair reader it is 3/4 lb. of pure CSA local beef in double-stack form. Both patties are stuffed with cheddar cheese. The burger itself is topped with fried onions, BBQ sauce, and BACON. Who doesn't love bacon? Sweet crispy bacon... *makes Homer Simpson nom nom sounds* So, the burger is laid out something like this: toasted bun, patty (cooked medium) stuffed with cheddar cheese, fried string onions, BBQ sauce, bacon, second patty stuffed with cheddar cheese, fried string onions, BBQ sauce bacon, and toasted bun top. Then they dress it nicely with cilantro on the outer rim. I will admit that I do not have Steven Tyler's lips, and as a result I could not fit my entire mouth around this gargantuan (but awesome) creation whipped up by the fellas at Hoss' Loaded Burgers truck. But, after nibbling where I could and pressing hard enough with my hands - face covered in BBQ sauce and cheese - I finally succeeded in mastering the art of eating the Hoss' Double. So, if you dare, I suggest that you find their location next on Twitter and dive straight into the delightful, wholesome burger goodness that they represent. And, while you're there, make sure you get a side of the delish rosemary-parmesean fries.

Yelp
I don't know why ordering and eating food made in a truck is fun, but it is! I'd venture to say that I'm not alone since Food Trucks in Nashville are still all the rage a couple of years after they started popping up. I had my first experience with Hoss' Loaded Burgers for a Valentine's Day lunch with my husband and work wife when a few food trucks parked in the Second Harvest Food Bank's lot for their annual Spread The Love campaign to collect peanut butter. When I saw the special burger of the day, I knew that there was no other truck or burger option for me. How about a King Burger? It was 'loaded' with all the good stuff: bacon, grilled banana, peanut butter and strawberry preserves. Can it get better than that? Don't knock the combination until you try it (or you're allergic to one of the ingredients!), because it's pretty much one of the most awesome combinations I've ever had on a burger. I can only hope that I can score something like this again when I see Hoss' out an about. My husband and I split the Parmesan Fries, and they were definitely worth writing home (or to Yelp) about, as well. Crispy and tasty! The wait for our order wasn't long, but we had arrived at the event shortly after it started. I'm a fan!

Yelp
Maybe their meat burgers are better but their veggie burgers aren't. I appreciated the two veggie patties in the burger but the burger was really bad. I asked if they made it themselves and they said they did. I ordered the veggie burger with queso and I thought the queso would have saved it but it didn't. I added my own leafy greens from another food truck that had it on the side and that still didn't save it. It reminded me of a boca burger, which isn't bad but I was hoping for something more.

Yelp
Today's weather was absolutely perfect and I wanted to go to Food Truck Thursday at Centennial Park. My co-workers and I were so excited to eat lunch outside. I was wondering if the same vendors would be there as last time. I've seen Hoss Loaded Burgers around but never tried them and today was a lucky day for both of us! The line was the longest but I decided to stick it out. Lucky for me, the guy behind me was a frequent customer and gave me the low down on the menu. I went with the Big Kahuna and Rosemary Parmesan french fries. The burger was juicy and hot! I loved every bite. I told my co-worker that I plan to go back and she's going to try it next time too! :)
google avatar

Joe C.

Yelp
Burger was good but definitely not a $10 burger but the fries are really good. All in all it was a ok meal.

Kim F.

Yelp
Awesome job on the Kimchi burger! The extra kimchi paired well with my Parmesan fries. Mmmmm!

Yelp
I've been here twice. The first time I went was with two friends it was decent but literally made us so sick (I'm assuming the grease). I decided to try it out again today. A burger and fries was $11, which is reasonable but in my humble opinion not worth it. I just ate half the burger and I already feel like I just ate 100 burgers. I know each person is different but this review is for the people like me that clearly can't handle a lot of greasy meat, like this. No offense to the cool people who run it but I can't and won't come back. Just keep in mind if you are regularly healthy I would skip this unless you wanna be sick later. Also their burgers aren't what I imagined it would be having paid $8 for it. It didn't taste any different than a $5 burger and literally dripped in grease. Just a caution for the weaklings like me of the world.

Yelp
This Food Truck Rules ! Text Burger to 88000 for the current location. Only an 8 minute wait for your burger cooked to order. The Spicy & Parmesan Fries are awesome too.

Joel J.

Yelp
Pluses: the fries were nice, on the BBQ burger there was the right amount of sauce and good crispy onions. The bun was fine also. The bad: burger was so small, they should not be charging $9 for it, and there was something really off about the meat flavor. I think it was just really overcooked? I was worried when it was about a two minute wait to get my food. Not sure what the process was, but I'm certainly not going to order another to find out more.
google avatar

Yelp
Second time, in 4 days that Ive eaten @ Hoss. My first time was this past Sat @ Jackalope. During this visit I had the Big Kahuna burger. Very tasty and the slice of grilled pineapple was a nice add on. Today I got the Jackalope Burger. Nice and rare and oozing with cheese. Its a cool concept, cheese stuffed burgers. And I will hit them up whenever they are around. The Rosemary Parmesan fries were good, although the Rosemary & Parm didnt ahine through flavorwise.

Yelp
Hoss burgers are awesome. The deserts are great too, always friendly and the new specialty burgers are awesome.
google avatar

Gaines K.

Yelp
I know "gourmet" food trucks are all the rage, but no matter where they cook it, if I'm spending $8 on a burger it better be really good and I'm afraid I'm not impressed with Hoss' Loaded Burgers. The patty was not only overdone, but it seemed to be two smaller pre-made patties smashed together. Then they covered it with sickly sweet bar-b-que sauce. If I wanted a sub-par burger covered in sauce to hide it's lack of flavor, I'd go to a fast food joint. On the positive side, the guys working in the truck are super friendly and I loved the parmesan fries. While I wont be buying another Hoss burger, they've earned an "OK" from me for the fries and service.
google avatar

Megan C.

Yelp
Yum! Delicious Swiss cheese enveloping every bite? The tangy sweetness of pineapple and teriyaki sauce. A fluffy, fresh bun. All accoutrements to a marvelous, melt-in-your-mouth organic, grass fed, cooked perfectly to medium burger that I enjoyed to day at the Hoss' loaded burger truck. The guys were super friendly, the burgers are reasonably priced, and they cater to exotic tastes (I'm so adding avacado next time) and the veggies (and vegans, according to their sign!). The sweet potato fries were a nice side (they also serve parmesan-garlic) and came out crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. They even have a loyalty card-buy nine and the tenth is free! And, since you can text 'burger' to 88000 to find their daily locations, there's really no excuse not to stop by!
google avatar

Yelp
Burgers...are a thing that I cannot live without. And Hoss' makes it even harder for me to not eat burgers every meal, every day! And I'm not just saying that because I helped name their newest burger, "The Herman" (which super tasty!). First off, I love that they have Square. If you haven't downloaded this free app yet, you should. I can walk up to their truck and "Open a Tab" on the app and I pop up on their screen inside the truck. And instead of having to get my credit card out or cash out, I just say "Put it on my Tab" and it charges my credit card that is tied to the app. Secondly, these guys not only know their burgers, but they remember you. Or they remember me. My boyfriend once shared some cupcakes that I had made with them. And now when I go to the truck, they'll ask me if I've made any new cupcake creations recently. If you have read any of my other reviews, you will know that I am a fan of customer service especially the personal touch. So yeah, this gets them uber bonus points for me. Most importantly, their food is just top notch. It is totally on point. If you are dainty and don't like eating food that may drip on you, then this isn't for you. I always end up with meat juice on my pants or on my shirt...and I realize now this sounds dirty, but yes, Hoss' is food porn to me. Their burgers are so freakin' juicy. I'll wear my juice stains with pride. And for $7-8 per burger, you definitely get an appropriately sized burger. It's big. For those that are not familiar with Hoss' Loaded Burgers, they load the burgers putting the cheese INSIDE the burger. So when you bite into this burger, not only does the juice from the perfectly grilled burger ooze out, but so does the cheese. I've learned to take little burger bites because otherwise I end up looking like an X-rated burger eater. My favorite burger so far is "The Herman" and I'm not just saying that because I helped suggest the name. Muenster cheese in the middle, White Truffle Aioli on top (which totally makes this burger stand out!)...just phenomenal! They now have bison burgers which is a nice 'healthier' option. My boyfriend got one and although he liked it, he didn't like it as much as their regular beef burgers because the cheese on the bison burgers is not inside the burger, but on top. It changes the whole dynamic of the burger, really! He also felt it needed some sort of seasoning. I'm not a connoisseur of bison meat, so I'll just take his word for it. I'm always gonna get a beef burger! If I had to wish anything is that they would have just regular fries...without the Rosemary Parmesan on them. But for $3, their "small" fry is enough for 2 people to share. It's a HEALTHY portion of fries! And maybe sliders? I did try their Tequila Lime Sorbet. If you love Margaritas, spend the $3. Seriously. Don't even think about it...Just Do It! I tried it on a super humid day and it totally refreshed me. And it was seriously Margarita tasty!!! Hoss' is my favorite food truck. I'm totally mad cow for them!

Yelp
I had the 'boss' burger for lunch today. great bun, super juicy/greasy/cheesy mess. toppings were very good. Sweet Potato fries were a big serving but a little soggy. Parmesan Fries I thought were better. Friendly staff and efficient. I hate it that they had Pepsi products! Come on people its the south - coke all the way. I would probably eat there again if they parked infront of my office but wouldn't change my route/lunch plans to get a burger from them. Win: Local Business and local beef n stuff. Hooray!

Yelp
Hoss' Burgers greatest strength is also their greatest weakness - the cheese stuffed burger. I had the Old Timer, which was two thin patties stuffed with cheddar cheese and topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup and mustard. Upon biting into the burger, one is met with an explosion of gooey cheese, which is awesome. It can be a little messy but totally worth it. However, by the time the burger is half eaten, all the cheese is gone, leaving two thin patties and toppings - making it like any other burger. There is a sign on the truck that states they cook their burgers to the Health Department minimum temperature. While I like my steaks rare, I like burgers medium well, so I'll make note of that next time and ask my burger be cooked longer, as it was pretty pink. I'm normally not a big fries person, but they had the magic word in front of it - cajun. The cajun fries were cooked perfectly with a very nice seasoning on the outside. I also loved that while my husband and I both ordered burgers, we just ordered one large order of fries, but they split them amongst our plates. I don't like sharing fries, so I really dug that! I had the pleasure of trying a friend's Sherry burger (sadly not offered again for the rest of the year) that was stuffed with goat cheese and topped with sherry-marinated portobello mushrooms. The mushrooms were divine, and I definitely had entree envy! Since they locally source the cheese, it's more of a colder-weather burger, and they served the last they had the day we visited them. Two other big pluses - one, they have bottled Mexican Coke, which I love. The other is that for two large burgers, a large fries and two drinks, our total came to around $20, which is very reasonable for this caliber burger.

Yelp
The Hoss Burger lives up to its name. Stuffed with cheddar, topped with their own hickory BBQ sauce, perfectly fried crisped onions, thick-cut bacon, and cilantro, this was delectable from bite one to the last crumb. Word to the wise: they're made to order, so the stuffed cheddar is *piping* hot. Calm down for a minute and eat the fries... The fries: I opted for the blackened spices version, which were delicious. Not too salty, the perfect amount of flavor and spice, and a medium-cut consistency which is to my liking. The other option, parmesan, looked very cheesy, but the parmesan was a pre-fry batter seasoning, not a topping after the fact. While I didn't try them, I like this idea a lot for flavor and consistency's sake. The burger and fries cost $10 - $8 for the burger, $2 for the fries. This truck doesn't provide an option for vegetarians or non-beef eaters, but what they do offer is pretty great.

Yelp
I really wanted to love Hoss'. First we love us some good food truck fare. So we had been waiting a long time for Hoss' to come out on a day we could catch it. So when they were at Ellington on a day we could be there, we chased em down and got there early. Unfortunately, the whole family had the same problem -- tough, overcooked meat with a greasy ball of cheese in the middle -- that squirted out and landed on the basket after the first bite. We ordered or burgers medium; they were well done. I suppose that if the meat is truly local grass fed, the over cooking really did em in. It seemed like the meat was ground so fine that it logs all of its good texture. To be honest, it was the worst burger I've had in a long time. The fries were good. Better than average frozen battered fries with a little parm on top, but given the low cost of a potato, why go frozen?

Yelp
My new employer recently had a "company picnic"...at first, when I thought of a picnic, I thought there would be food from a cookout, lol. Little did I know that it turned out to be a line of food trucks! Hoss' Loaded Burgers was one of the trucks that was there, so I decided to try them out. They were only offering one burger at the time (The Ol' Timer) to speed up service, because there was a huge line. They also offered a choice of fries to go with the burger. I decided to try out the Parmesan fries to go along with my burger. Now normally, I don't like cheese on my burgers. But the fact that this burger was stuffed with cheese (like a Jucy Lucy) made it taste even more awesome than just a plain burger! So delicious! I must also mention that the Parmesan fries were some of the best fries I have ever eaten...crispy and so good! I hope to find this food truck around town so I can try more of their food!

Tony D.

Yelp
Great very juice burger! Cooked just enough that the cheese was melted but not running out. Had it with the Parmesan fires and they are great. Would recommend !

Yelp
I just finished my Hoss' burger about 10 minutes ago and man, that was a great burger! My absolute favorite thing about these burgers is the meat to bun ratio. Very few places get the ratio right but Hoss' hit the nail on the head. In every single bite there was just the right amount of bread, meat, and veggies. The brioche bun was sturdy enough to stand up to the juices from the meat & veggies so the burger didn't turn into a giant dripping mess. The meat was cooked well and as promised, the cheese on the inside was perfectly gooey and delicious. The veggies were crisp and fresh and I really appreciate that Hoss' gives you avocado slices instead of spread. One of my favorite things about food has always been the combination of textures and Hoss' commitment to fresh produce really shows off the integrity of the ingredients as well as combining to produce a texturally perfect burger. It goes without saying that I will definitely be back. Keep up the great work, guys!

Yelp
WOWZA! I was told I needed to try one of their loaded burgers, and I finally did last week at Live on the Green. SUCH A GOOD BURGER.

Yelp
Great scott, this food is da*n good! Jack'O'Lope burger is the way to go - everything you could imagine - bacon, avocado, double wide patty, cheese, etc. Cooked medium, it was extremely juicy that some bites - my hand burnt from the juices running down the burger onto my hand. Fries - try it cuz they are good too. For $2, wish the fries serving was a bit larger.. But all in all, DEFINITELY WORTH $10!

Yelp
I've been seeing the stuffed burger trend on Food Network a lot and was so excited to see Nashville get a food truck dedicated to this mighty burger. I went for a visit to the Wanderland Urban Food Park and Hoss' Loaded Burgers automatically caught my eye. I ordered an Old Timer and some sweet potato fries. The only thing that sucks is that if you are a well done meat girl, like myself, you can't get the burger stuffed. Even still, the burger I got was really good and so were my fries. My boyfriend got the parmesan fries though and they were pretty gross. Just lacked pretty much everything seasoning wise. Might of just been a bad batch or something though. Anyways, def worth a visit if you like a good burger.

Yelp
Not the best food truck experience. I had the veggie hoss burger. Bread was not fresh. Probably should have been tossed yesterday or 2 days ago. Parmesan fries were not fresh n hot. I was so looking forward to a great taste on the fries but instead was dealt a splat of cold cakey greasyness u get with cold redipped fries. Based on other reviews they use to hv spicy parm fries. Mmmm now those, of hot and fresh, would hv been a love fetish.

Yelp
The better half and I were back at Second Harvest for the Valentines Day Peanut Butter donation day, which includes several of the Nashville Food Trucks. Normally we are die hard Grilled Cheesery Folks, but the "King" Burger was too hard to resist. I don't know if they normally offer this, or if it was just part of the Peanut Butter promotion for Second Harvest. It contains: "Thick Sliced Bacon topped with Grilled Banana, Creamy Peanut Butter and Strawberry Preserves." I fully admit that on a burger that probably sounds gross, but as a Peanut Butter addict (Who has had his share of Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwiches) it was surprisingly good. Something about the unique combination of Sweet and Savory worked the same way that Chocolate Covered Pretzels work. The wait was about what you'd expect from a food truck, and they do take Credit Cards, using Square and an iPad so no need to run for cash if you are one of those people who enjoys a credit life. I would wholeheartedly recommend stopping by for the unique taste that is The King!

Yelp
It's kind-of funny... I've ate from the Hoss' Loaded Burgers Food Truck many times, and still have yet to actually order a burger. The first time I "met" this food truck, I wasn't particularly hungry, so I opted for their Blackened Spices french fries. At $2 for a generous portion of fries, it was definitely enough to satisfy me. The flavor was so unique and delicious, almost spicy, but addictive. I was hooked. Now, every time I am at the Hoss' truck, I order their large fries in either the Blackened Spices or Parmesan Rosemary flavors, and a side of their sorbet of the day. Weird combo, I know. But their sorbet is so delicious and fresh, and paired with the flavors of the fries, it's a delicious small meal! My favorite sorbet is their Tequila Lime. YUM. Maybe one of these days I'll try one of their burgers, but for now, I'll stick to my favorites!

Yelp
I love food trucks. And I love stuffed burgers. I looked at their website, and their burgers must rotate, because their current menu is different than what choices I had. I had an order of their parmesan fries, which were only $2, and so good. The burger I had was the red, white, and blue. The burger was stuffed with blue cheese and a hot wing sauce. When I first started eating it, I thought the toppings were just on top of the burger. Then I hit the jackpot with my bites. OMG. It was so good, and the perfect combination of blue cheese and hot wing sauce. This food truck is a must try.

Yelp
Can't say anything as to whether the food is good. But this food truck is a bully on the road. Rude and aggressive. If their cooking skills are anything like their drivings skills, I'd suggest avoiding this place.

Yelp
Grass fed beef? Yum. Cheesy goodness? Yum. Rosemary Parmesan Fries? Double Yum. The Herman is delicious, this food truck lived up to the hype. I will shamelessly be following it all around Nashville. Super friendly and welcoming workers despite working 7 straight hours in insane heat on Saturday. Follow them and get a burger!

Yelp
Begin from Minnesota, home of the original Jucy Lucy, I had to take my sophisticated palate on over to Hoss' Burgers when I learned the southern version of the Jucy had arrived. I ordered "The Hoss Burger" which includes a good juicy thick slab of bacon on top, with some fixin's, and BBQ sauce. I was impressed with the piece of bacon - they do not skimp, I must give them that. The meat of the burger itself was OK - certainly not sub-par, but not a birdie either. Just an all around OK sandwich. I would improve it by giving it a bit of a kick -- pepperjack cheese instead of cheddar in the middle, or add a chipotle mayo or cajun spice mustard. The patty of the burger could have a bit more flavor too -- adding some BBQ sauce to give it a smokiness or a dijon mustard to give it a kick would go a long way. Fries were pretty tasty as well; plenty of seasoning on them! $8 burger and $2 small fries make it just on the edge of a tad too much for lunch, but all in all I still enjoyed it.

Yelp
I love food truck Thursdays when a bunch of trucks gather in Centennial Park every other Thursday. It's my favorite day of the pay period. Today I decided to go with Hoss burger because it was the only truck there that I haven't tried.I got the Hoss Burger and a small Parmesan Fries. Overall I enjoyed my burger. For being stuffed with cheddar cheese, the burger was not too greasy. The roll was very yummy and fresh tasty. I agree with a previous review, the barbecue sauce on my burger was too sweet for my tastes; however, it didn't detract too much from my delicious burger experience. And those fries. Parmesan Fries. And I thought the small fry for 2 dollars was a pretty generous serving. I would seek Hoss Burgers out again specifically for the fries. They were that good. They were hot and fresh and had really good flavor. The guys in the truck were very friendly and the service was fast for a fresh cooked burger. My coworker got the Jackalope with pepper jack cheese and also really enjoyed it. I like that they have a loyalty program where your burger is free. I always enjoy the opportunity to earn free food. I will def eat at Hoss Burger again!

I LUV you guys. Sometimes hard to get to. Wish you could have more trucks closer to my area. Never fails though, I am always pleased with the Old Timer! My fav by far!

Yelp
Had a burger and fries at Fitness 1440/British Swim School Grand Opening Saturday. Wow! Best burger I have had in a long time. It was a little well done for me, but still juicy. The fries were great!

Yelp
We were at supercool fun fest when we tried the hoss burger. We also had the Cajun fries which were incredible. It was good but the only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because it took 20 minutes to get my food. It wasn't worth waiting 20 minutes for.

Yelp
These burgers are some of the tastiest I've had outside of my own kitchen. They have a simple menu that allows for numerous combinations. Your tastebuds will not be disappointed. Plus, they have a rotating burger and custard of the month that teases your tongue with a fusion of gourmet flavors but not at a gourmet price! If you like big onion rings, they have them. If you like plain fries, they have them. If you like fries with different seasonings, they have them. If you like loaded fries... THEY HAVE THEM! The food is delicious and the price doesn't hurt your wallet. The owners are visible and staff is very accommodating and happy only when you're happy! I come once or twice a week since they opened and will continue to support our local burger joint!

Yelp
Hoss' Loaded Burgers set up a day with us to serve lunch at the commercial property I manage and they were an absolute hit! The response was overwhelming from our 90 plus tenants, and they were swamped beginning at 11am when they parked here. Even with the awesome weblink order ahead option, these guys never stopped and consistently had a line of patrons. What impressed me was their service and the food's quality didn't suffer as a result. My order was placed on the To-Go website and delivered hot and delicious. I had the Old Timer and Parm fries. Both were freshly prepared and hot. The burger has a soft yet not to soft bun, fresh beef stuffed with melted cheese and fresh toppings. For bacon fans they offer several other variations with different topping including Benton's Bacon and fried eggs. The fries had a generous amount of grated parmesan cheese, and were very crispy and light and for a small order $2 gives you a hefty serving. My total bill was only $11 with a burger, fries and a tip. I will definitely welcome them back to the property and hope to find them elsewhere to enjoy!

Yelp
I had Hoss' at the Wanderland food truck FEASTival. Delicious and well worth the wait! We had the Hoss and thankfully they didn't run out of bacon until right after our order...that would have been tragic. I felt bad for those behind us. The cheddar in the middle of the patty was the perfect temp and consistency. The bacon was thick and delish. The sweetness of the bbq sauce perfectly complimented the rest of the burger. The bun was not too thick or thin. Loved it! I dare say, it was better than the gourmet burgers I've had at Burger Up or Flip Burger in Atlanta. The rosemary & parm fries were fine, but nothing too special. I'd go back for the burger!
