We had the pleasure of enjoying a five-course menu, complemented by several additional small courses in between. The food was varied, thoughtfully composed, and of very high quality. As expected in fine dining, the portions were rather small, so it is not the ideal choice if you arrive very hungry. The price of 550 DKK for the menu felt reasonable and fair considering the overall culinary experience.
However, there were a few aspects that left us disappointed. In particular, the pricing of water felt excessive: two small glasses of tap water were charged at 60 DKK per person, which we did not find appropriate.
Additionally, the overall atmosphere felt rushed. Plates were removed immediately once we finished, and on one occasion, when we took a bit more time due to conversation, we were asked twice within five minutes whether we were done. Our neighboring table had the wine pairing and appeared similarly hurried, seemingly pressured to finish each glass quickly. For an experience of this level, we would have expected a more relaxed and unhurried pace.
Lastly, the dining room felt quite crowded and rather loud, which further detracted from the otherwise refined experience.
Overall, the cuisine itself was excellent, but the service tempo and atmosphere did not fully meet the expectations one typically has for a high-end dining experience.
