Excellent size for a double room. not the cheapest but definitely cozy, and right in the heart of city. Very friendly and informative staff, cleaning to perfection every day when we are out. Cafe next to hotel opens up to midnight - evening flight not an issue.

Fantastic lactation near the cathedral, but easy access to so many interesting things that Santiago has to offer. Also close to transit to the airport. Delicious on-site cafe.

I enjoyed an excellent stay in room 45 on the top floor of this walk up (no elevator) building. My room, which has a skylight, was very quiet being above the outside noise. ||The room, bathroom and shower while typically small, were comfortable and even a bit larger than others I have stayed at in Santiago. The bathroom towels were large and plush. The hotel is very clean, and my room was cleaned every day. ||The café is one of my favorites. The breakfast menu has many options and everything I had for breakfast or dinner was nicely presented and quite delicious. While the café opens to the public at 9:00, it serves breakfast (with a small discount) to Hostal guests as early as 7:30. The café prices as well as the room prices were quite reasonable. The staff is kind, helpful and they speak English. Menus in English are available too.||The location is central and close to restaurants, shops and the Cathedral. ||If you are a pilgrim don’t miss the tall mural on cloth which spans the third and fourth floors.||Highly recommended - I would stay here again.

Wow!!! The rooms are perfect! The food is delicious! The staff is friendly and so very helpful! We have stayed over 10 days in 2024 and have loved every day. This is our “Santiago home”! (we love the eggs Benedict - and the similar plate that has avocado and chicken)

Such a great hotel to stay in at the end of the Camino! Its steps from the cathedral and the service is incredible. My bag was brought to my room, and everything was prepared perfectly at the end of a long journey. I was so comfortable and well taken care of! They also assisted in calling a taxi and anything else I needed!

Absolutely fabulous! The location is unbeatable, right in the center of Santiago. The rooms are comfortable and very beautifully decorated; and the staff are incredible, kind, helpful and cheerful. The bar serves delicious breakfast and drinks and meals during the day. We are very happy to have discovered this great hostal thanks to viajes Camino de Santiago. Thank you to the personnel at Hostal Suso for contributing to a wonderful last day of the Camino Portuguese

We stayed three nights at Hostal Suso post Camino. Excellent location, few minutes from cathedral, lots of restaurants and shops. The staff from reception to housekeeping were all outstanding. We stayed in a superior double room which came with a super comfortable, king size bed. The room had AC and a small refrigerator. Along the trail, we stayed at 30+ hostels/hotels and this was the only one that had great insulation, not paper thin walls. Also, we received 10% discount for breakfast downstairs. This was the perfect place to recover from the Camino and relax. Highly recommend!
