We had lunch at Hosteria Uva Rara during our trip to Italy earlier this year. What a treat! A Michelin-star rated restaurant, and it was obvious why that distinction has ben bestowed on the restaurant. Everything from start to finish was excellent. Cured meats, to fried battered vegetables, to Casoncello, to Tagliata, with sliced beef steak as a main course and fresh fruit pie for dessert. Our chef-created special menu was superb. Red and white wines accompanied the meal and paired perfectly with the courses. Service was impeccable. A gorgeous restaurant, and a fabulous meal. Highly recommend.
