Hoste

After hosting an awesome small / intimate event (20 ish people) several months back, Hoste was the obvious choice for a large format event (100+ people). This was an indoor food festival with 15 tasting stations, plus a fireside chat with Top Chef and Chopped competitor Chef Zubair Mohajir. A lot of reputation on the line with this event! Yet again, everything was stellar from initial communication, to event-day setup and preparedness, and the event itself. I hardly had to lift a finger because the Hoste team was on top of everything. Even more impressive was several months ago when I held my first event at Hoste, it was a different operations director. This time it was Jacyara who was just 1 month into the job. I would have guessed she had been on the job for years though. To me that's a signal that even when a new team member joins, the system doesn't fall apart or even slow down. That means they have great hiring, training, culture and leadership. Our 100+ guests raved about the venue, the beauty, they started getting ideas for hosting their own events. Pro tip: Spend a little extra to add the "Welcome Cocktail" feature to your event. Your guests will feel extra taken care of and it'll improve the overall look and feel of your event. This beautiful hidden gem in Pilsen was literally the Hoste..of the 6th Annual Great Chicago Food Bash. We had everyone from wonderful Tequila to our delicious soft-baked Granola in the house to the most gracious organizer @RajNation, and his absolutely amazing volunteers. For this one evening, the heaviness of the world outside was forgotten, we all laughed, enjoyed the food and beverages, each other's company, and the amazing advice from our speaker Chef Alisha Elenz, who kept it real and raw for us emerging brands. The set-up was amazing, there was plenty of parking, and we all enjoyed a wonderful night. Thank you, Hoste for your hospitality, space and for being a phenomenal Hoste to us all. Stay blessed, healthy and head out to Hoste for your next BIG event!

Tres Chic place hits the hood! Awesome open venue for large parties with their own distillery. Affordable price points and knowledgeable staff, from the general manager to the bartender … everyone was on point! The caterers that would love to work your private events had GLUTEN FREE GREATNESS AVAILABLE 🤩. It caught my eye about a week ago and I looked it up, then I was driving by today and saw “a party” stopped it for the meet and greet and was impressed! As an entrepreneur, I can not wait to support this new local biz!

I recently got to attend the Great Chicago Food Bash presented by Startup Grind. It was an awesome event. The staff kept things moving, they were very helpful. They were highly accommodating for the needs of the exhibitioners as well. Would definitely recommend this as a venue for events.

Loved my even at Hoste :) a beautiful spacious location that came fully equipped for our needs. Jordan was amazing and so helpful making sure to answer questions and allow us to view the space and coordinate logistics before the event! 10/10 would book here again :)

We hosted a live podcast and VIP cocktail evening at Hoste. It was the perfect venue. The staff was incredible - they helped us with everything pre-event and on-site. They have beautiful furniture we used which saved us a lot of money not having to rent additional items. We catered Mexican food from the neighborhood that Hoste recommended, which guests were raving about. The vibes and drinks were top notch. I can't recommend this place enough!!

We hosted our Power of Procurement event here and loved every moment. The space is thoughtfully designed and incredibly flexible — from the built-in disco ball (yes, iconic!) to the complimentary AV setup (mic, speakers, uplights, and more), everything made for a seamless experience. They have women’s, men’s, and gender-neutral bathrooms (we love the inclusion), a complimentary coat check, and even a green room for event teams or talent. The venue staff goes above and beyond — helping with both setup and teardown. We also loved how customizable the space is. There’s some great built-in décor, but they fully encourage you to bring in your own to make it yours. Their artist-in-residence program featuring local Chicago artists adds such a creative and community-driven touch. Hoste may be a newer venue, but they operate with the polish and professionalism of an established Chicago favorite. We can’t wait to host another event there soon!
