Our family had the pleasure of staying at Hostellerie des Château & Spa from June 2 to 5, 2025. Traveling from Far East Asia to a peaceful little village in Alsace was quite the adventure, because it is too far from my homeland.. (around 10,000km), all the staff here made us feel completely at home. We absolutely loved the spa—it was such a relaxing treat, and each evening’s French dinner was deliciously memorable. Above all, huge thank-you to the hotel manager and everyone on staff for going above and beyond to make our stay so wonderful.

the hotel is conveniently located for travel around Alsace, but it is far from being a 4-star accommodation. the rooms, lobby and shared spaces are all dated and could use a refresher. the carpets were stained and dark, the furniture quite old. The front desk was often vacant and people could simply walk up and grab a room key. on a positive note, the food was quite good and the breakfast buffet was very generous.

Charming hotel with big spa area, however in the weekend the spa is super busy and full of people. The rooms are big and comfortable. However for me there was missing the coffee machine/kettle in the room to make coffee or tea. The breakfast had quality products, but I'm not sure if worth the price: 28Eur / person per breakfast. However overall experience is very positive. I would like to visit it in the summer to use the outdoor pool.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay, though the beginning and the end were very poor - see below. Hotel in good position. Quiet. Plenty of parking. Very good pools at spa for different types of experience. Housekeeping very good.|Breakfast outstanding. Dinners very good with generally friendly and efficient service, particularly from the older maitre D. Good wine list.|Our reception (from a young lady) was dismal. Almost surly. No information. Talked far too fast and showed us to a dark, miserable room, despite having booked top of the range. We insisted on a move to a room over the spa, which was very nice with a good outlook; There were clearly plenty of these rooms available.|And on the last evening the older maitre D was off. A younger man took his place. Very full of himself, but utterly useless. Hardly listened to our order, spilled the wine and dropped the lamb on the floor!

Great location, very friendly staff. Spa is very well equipped with 3 swimming-pools. Breakfast was worth the experience - very generous and varied. Diner at the gastronomic hotel restaurant was a real treat. Perfect place to visit the surroundings and to chill for a weekend. No pets allowed, which is the only minus point.

This fine hotel was highly recommended- coming from an Alsatian couple. It did not disappoint- friendly reception staff, a spacious well appointed suite with comforable king size bed, during a hot time of the year the shutters & easily controllable aircon were extremely welcome.||The family running the hotel make every effort to meet guests sharing their local knowledge & advice with an easy smile. Thw owner's daughter passing from table to table to ensure guests are having an enjoyable stay & good experience||The refurbished dining area is a wonderful setting for both the extensive breakfast buffet & the wonderful set evening meal which was of excellent quality. The charming maitre'd was a delight- serving with a smile & wonderful French humour.||Highly recommended.

Don’t book this hotel before reading this review!||I booked a one-night stay at this hotel through Booking.com. Right after completing the reservation, I realized I had mistakenly booked the wrong hotel.||I immediately contacted Booking.com, and they agreed to refund the money. However, the hotel refused to refund us, even though we explained that we were on the opposite side of France and unable to stay. They offered to let us come on a different night, but as tourists leaving the country in a few days, that wasn’t an option for us.||I don’t believe this is ethical business practice. It was an honest mistake, and we notified them right away, so they didn’t lose any potential customers. In fact, the hotel had vacancies that night, so it wasn’t like we reserved the last room.||Personally, I prefer not to do business with places that operate unethically, so I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had the most amazing time at Hostellerie des Chateaux with my husband. Had chosen this place to celebrate my birthday. We got a room with a beautiful view into the village and the horizon. Though charged extra they were able to arrange a bouquet, a cake to make my birthday special. The service during breakfast and especially dinner was outstanding. The staff showed great attention to detail and truly made us feel welcome. Where do I start about the food?! Each day indeed was a gastronomical treat with a 4-5 course meal ranging from the most simple to complex flavours all blending in beautifully.They were so kind to accomodate my request to make a few dishes vegetarian too. We also took full advantage of the spa there which was indeed a great attraction with a lot of sauna rooms, hamama, indoor heated pools with dynamic waterjets. We felt so relaxed after this weekend and hope to make it a ritual to go here every year.

This is the newer sister property of the hotel Beau Site. It is a 4 star as compared to a 3 star in the official rating. The design is much more modern and not as rustic and cozy as the other property. But it is here or you find the lovely wellness area with heated pool, Jacuzzi, saunas, and steam room. Treatments such as massages or facials are also available. I would definitely also recommend this hotel.
