Dinner at Hostellerie Jerome is an amazing experience with fresh food cooked precisely, elegant but friendly service and high-class courses. ||||The host Marion is kind, friendly and has a great knowledge of the wine world so don’t exitate to ask for a glass or a wine from the huge wine list of the restaurant.||||Choosing between the 2 menus I prefer the smaller one and everything was excellent, from the appetizers with garlic sauce and finger food to the main courses. Sardines, pigeon and my favourite, the Lobster with cherries and pan brioche. ||||I recommend also to choose some wines from the vast list, some gems are here.||||Quality/price is great for the area||||Great dinner

Really quite outstanding. I am surprised that they do not have another star. The menu / food is diverse, very creative, perfectly prepared and presented. The room is best described as tranquil. It is not overly fancy, but calm and comfortable. The wine list is exceptional, and good advice is on hand. Front of house is very good, but could be a little more polished, if they want that extra star......But still, really very very good. Personally, I do not need synchronised plate removal and cloches revealed with a flourish. I prefer smiling happy waiters to sombre ones. Prices are steep but fair. Expect around 250 Euros per head if you drink sensibly.

This place is renowned for its 2 star Michelin restaurant. However, the owner has the whole building and 12 rooms above restaurant. |Very friendly family-style attitude. The rooms are boutique 5-star hotel quality, lacking only services (room service, laundry etc.). At the same time prices are those of a 3-star. |Each morning highest quality breakfast is served in the same restaurant on the terrace overlooking the sea. Needs to be pre-ordered though.|All the rooms enjoy a splendid view. At season peak we stayed 5 times cheaper then Monaco center, though only 10 mins away by car.

Avoid staying in Monaco in a sprawling corporate hotel and just a short 20 mins drive you can be in a charming hotel, serving spectacular food with elegant rooms with a sea view. We stayed 2 nights and dined there on the saturday evening, selecting a degustation menu of 4 courses, which was mouthwatering and visually stunning from start to finish and complimented by an expansive quality wine list||The breakfasts were amazing. The town is small and very typical of south of france with array of tabacs, bars and good quality restaurants including a Bistro related the hotel

This little town is awesome and this hotel is so charming! Much better to stay here and have the view and walk around old ruins than be down in Monaco! You can drive down or taxi down in 15 minutes. We did not try the restaurant because in Italy some Italian foodies told us about La Fourchette Libre in this town just 30 second walk from this Hotel and that restaurant is fantastic. So we stayed here two nights but could not stay away from La Fourchette Libre. We would go back here for sure!

This was our second visit to Hostellerie Jérome , this time we bought our two (mature) teenagers with us. We stayed for 4 nights in two rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had everything you could need. We received complimentary berries and water in the room each day, and found the service to be polite and friendly. The price is also very reasonable for the quality. On our first day after a transport mixup in Nice, Marion organised a taxi to find us and collect us. The location of the Hostellerie is wonderful , and makes for convenient access to everything in town. We ate breakfast and dinner in-house, and both are to die for. After all, the accommodation is a bonus addition to a Michelin Star restaurant. Make sure you wander the back streets, check out the Trophee, walk up to the old military installation on the hill, and even go to the local pool - just don't try wearing Boardshorts!!!

This was a quick stopover for us on our way home and I suspect we got the rooms at a good price as the famous restaurant was closed for the holidays during our stay.||||However, it's a lovely hotel, the rooms are modern, large and comfortable and the bathrooms felt luxurious. We were recommended a great place for dinner a short walk away and enjoyed having a look around Dijon.||||Breakfast was good with some nice choices and interesting flavour combinations!||||Lovely place, we will be back to Dijon again and certainly would like to return here when the restaurant is open!

Yelp
Hostellerie Jerome is a two star Michelin restaurant run by a husband and wife team, he is the chef and she is the sommelier. First a brief word about the wife. Having dealt with sommeliers all over the world I was impressed at how clear and succinct she was when I asked for her preference among three vintages of the same premier cru Meursault. Her response was "the 2013 is uneven, the 2014 is well balanced and the 2015 is rich." Wanting a wine that would stand up to the rich food that was to come I selected the 2015 and was not disappointed. The chef is equally masterful in the kitchen. Using local ingredients we were treated to a multi course meal that was as creative as it was delicious. It was certainly worth a detour. Highly recommend it.
