The interior of the restaurant is very pleasant, and the service was polite and helpful.
We were given the menu to choose our dishes. I selected one with octopus and shrimp and informed the waiter, only to be told that this dish was not available that day. Fish was proposed instead. The fish itself was delicious—fresh, tasty, and perfectly grilled. However, the side dish did not match the menu description: there was no truffle in the smashed potato as stated.
Before the main course, we were offered a house amuse-bouche: a small risotto with marinated mackerel. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The risotto was dry, cold, and hard, and the mackerel tasted overly fishy and not fresh—the marinade did not mask the unpleasant flavor.
At the end of the meal, some mini desserts were served with the coffee, small madeleine-style cakes. They were fine, but nothing memorable.
I am willing to give this restaurant another chance, as there is potential. However, if it aims to be considered an upscale dining experience, some details need improvement. Most importantly, guests should be informed in advance about which dishes from the menu are actually available, rather than discovering this after placing the order.
