I recently dined at Hostellerie Stafelter and had a mostly great experience. The interior is stylish yet cozy, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes it perfect for a relaxed evening out. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive without being overbearing—and the homemade bread they serve is a nice touch, fresh and delicious.
For the main dish, I had the Côte de Veau Sauce à la Moutarde. The flavors were spot on, with the mustard sauce complementing the tender veal perfectly. However, there were a fair number of small bone pieces, which made it slightly less enjoyable than it could have been.
Dessert was a highlight—the Moelleux au Chocolat was rich, indulgent, and perfectly paired with the caramel ice cream. A great way to end the meal!
Prices are on the higher side, but the quality of the food and service justifies it. Overall, I’d give it a solid 4/5 and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for refined dining with great attention to detail.
