Hot Cakes Capitol Hill is the perfect cozy spot, whether it’s a gloomy day that calls for comfort or a beautiful day when you're craving a sweet treat. The inviting atmosphere makes it ideal for kicking back with a delicious drink and indulgent desserts. I tried the coffee martini, and it was absolutely spot on—rich, smooth, and just the right balance of flavors. As for dessert, the S’mores was pure perfection, with the gooey marshmallow and chocolate taking me right back to campfire memories. If you’re looking for a place that combines delicious drinks with decadent treats, Hot Cakes is a must-visit!

This place is mind blowing for chocolate lovers, the ambience is great, the staff and the service was great too. I ordered Dark Decadence(16.68 usd), it took not even 3 mins to get my order. Coming to the taste, the ice cream has caramel crunch toffee sprinkled on it and caramel sauce beneath, served along with a molten chocolate cake. It was too rich for me, barely able to finish it. But for people who enjoy rich chocolate taste will definitely enjoy this. I feel this is a bit expensive too considering all you get is 1 scoop vanilla ice creame and a molten cake.

A place for folks with a sweet tooth. I found the lava cakes to be like starbucks/dunkin/cheesecake factory level sweet. The creme brulee was my favorite and I would get again. It was really creamy. The $5 hard cider was good value. A casual spot where you order up front, take a number and bus your own tables. I am a fan of the inclusive menu ( gluten free and local) and also they make sure customers don't misgender their staff. There is also coffee, tea and wine. Parking is difficult since it is caphill but it is less than 10 minutes from the caphill station and directly on a bus line.

Amazing molten cake options with delicious high quality ice cream pairing on side! We got the brownie and the strawberry molten cakes. We didn’t like the Theo cake in the strawberry molten cake as much as the cocoa cake in the brownie molten cake. The place had plenty of seating, great service! Would definitely go back and try the rest of the options!

One of the Best Dessert Places in Seattle. Love the vibe of this place. The desserts are amazing. Love the combos they offer like molten cake with ice cream and much more. The only downside is that it’s hard to find a parking near this place.

Not worth the hype especially paying $18 for a small choco lava cake and 1 scoop of vanilla icecream with a drizzle of syrup. Also would like the lava cake a little more cooked it wasn't cake at all. Ambience is good!! Out of all Dark decedence was a decent choice!

This is definitely 4.5/5 The deserts are delicious. Period. Molten cakes like nowhere else in the world Absolutely must try A single dessert Is good for 2. Tried multiple cakes there and everything is worth trying out. My only problem, they don’t manage seating at all You will constantly find yourself in a battle with other customers to find a good seating
