4/19/25 - Wife recently became vegan so we decided to come try this place since they have vegan burgers. We stop by on our way back from Spam Museum, go visit them if you like Spam. It was our first time here at Hot Chip Burger Bar. We go in and we see Kiosk, which was unexpected. There is a staff at the entrance and said we order and just seat ourselves. Kiosk is easy to use, if you don’t know how to use it, the staff are super friendly and helpful. Looking thru the menu, they kept asking if we needed help. I order the Kevin bacon cheese burger with fries and a side of special sauce and fountain drink, while wife order the Smells Like Updog with fries. We sat ourselves and waited for food to arrive which came fairly quick. Price is kind of expensive, totaling almost 50 dollars with tip. Food was good, nothing really stands out about the burger, just a regular bacon cheese burger. Special sauce was okay. Fries were seasoned which tasted good. Wife said her burger was good. This place has got to be the best place I’ve been to as far as service. During our time there staff came to us I don’t know how many times asking if we needed anything and how the food is, etc. Super friendly staff from the moment we walked in to when we left and they said thanks for coming. Overall good food, price is a bit high. They do have taco place next door which we’ll come back to try next time Food 7/10 Atmosphere 9/10 Price 6.5/10 Staff 10/10

Hot chips is a great place to visit and have a wonderful burger, best fries ever, and superb onion rings. This is our second visit here and it is hands down a fantastic burger joint with burgers that actually taste like burgers and not condiments. The fries and tater tots are the best we’ve had. Try this meeting place for a wonderful experience and easy going outdoor seating area or sit inside!

Google
TL;DR: Great burger joint with snappy ordering and food was received quickly! Atmosphere was great and I really appreciated the laid back vibe of the place. Popcorn machine and soda fountain, staples of a place you want to go back to again and again. Using kiosks, while new and helpful for most people, can be cumbersome for those not used to that style of ordering. The staff made sure we understood the menu and how to order, so they covered that base as well. Friendly staff as well! I will mention the standard fries, seasoned or not, are separate from the burgers (approx. $4); fountain soda also separate at ≈ $3. So be ready to spend $20+ per person on entree's alone. (Burger was very, very good -- as it should be at a burger bar!)

Google
Hot Chip did not have the best of first impressions. Ordering kiosk was super confusing. I understand the value of maximizing customization in a burger place, but I found some of the options to be repetitive or completely unnecessary (doneness on a vegan patty??). The food was also super expensive. A standard burger on a bun is about ten bucks. Fine. Every condiment or topping is at a minimum 50 cents. And any sides are a la carte. So my entire burger was almost 20 dollars. Yikes. The restaurant commits to its aesthetic (even if it doesn’t quite seem to know what it is). Lots of stickers and memes which I’m sure is a huge hit with local millennials. I don’t mind we had to seat ourselves or grab our own drinks, although I’m curious to know how well this model works when the place is busy. The free popcorn is inventive and was good at keeping us fed while we waited for our food. Wait time wasn’t too long. While we opted to eat inside, the outdoor seating area looked nice and spacious. We had an order of cheese curds, which were deep fried (not my favorite) but not terrible. I had a vegan burger, which was tasty and the bun it was served on complimented it well. Not 20 dollars tasty, mind you, but still tasty. A heads up that the pickles at this place are sweet pickles, not dill. I would also encourage this place to allow people to still add cheese to their vegan burgers. I know that makes it not vegan, but still. My partner got a standard burger with two patties and a side of fries, which he enjoyed. Ultimately, I’ll have to pass on this place. Those looking for a “quirky” and “cool” place to grab a burger will be more than satisfied, but it just wasn’t worth the price.

Google
**Ambiance:** Great atmosphere with an outside dining area and handicap accessible parking and doorways. They also have a dedicated family area away from the alcohol, plus a full-sized bar offering a variety of drinks. Bonus: all-you-can-eat free popcorn! **Food:** I had a double cheeseburger with lettuce, onion, tomato, and cheese, accompanied by a side of onion rings. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. They also have a lunch special—a double cheeseburger with fries and a drink for around $12, making it moderately inexpensive. **Service:** The customer service was really nice. They greeted me as soon as I walked in and offered assistance with the kiosk. It’s more of a self-service place, where they cook the food and bring it out, then you handle the rest. **Cleanliness:** The place was well-maintained and clean, adding to the overall positive experience. **Overall Experience:** This place offers a unique self-service dining experience that’s both efficient and enjoyable. The food quality, service, and atmosphere all get a five-star rating from me!

Google
Hot Chep Burger Bar offers a solid burger experience with tasty, well‑seasoned patties and fresh toppings. The small menu keeps things simple and reliable. Service is friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is casual and laid‑back—perfect for a relaxed meal. Fries are crispy and pair nicely with their signature sauces. Not fancy, but a dependable spot when you're craving a good burger without the fuss.

Great food! They forgot about our drinks but service was respectful and gave us a discount for next time we visit.

Google
First time in, I’ve been wanting to try it since I moved back. I LOVE the vibe, the food is incredible, and the service is amazing. Sky was super attentive and checked in multiple times, I didn’t catch anyone else’s names but overall I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Yelp
Oh, they so get me! I have ordered their sweet pepper slaw 3 times now , and I'm going to replicate it when i return home., But I think I'll add Ramen noodles and make a variety of Ramen slaw. Their sweet potato tots are small, perfect and I've ordered those twice now As for the kevin bacon burger: its an all-senses engaged experience! The pickles!! The mushroom mayo!! The heArty( probably the wrong word... oh, Hot Chip, i wish you'd foot in my suitcase!!

Yelp
I really appreciate the number of vegan options on the menu, and the fact that you can do a full burger joint experience (burger, fries, and shake) vegan! As a vegetarian with an egg allergy, vegan options are often the safest for me. I got the Mr. Lebowski and added vegan bacon (and subtracted tomatoes) and a side of "seasoned" fries, and split the substantially sized chocolate shake with my husband, which seems like the way to go (it was a lot more than I was expecting, and is very, very sweet on top of being luxuriously thick). The fries are normal shoestrings with some seasoning lightly sprinkled over them, which was slightly disappointing, but not bad. My husband wasn't that hungry and just got some sides to go with the shake, and I got to try the broccoli, which we both enjoyed (but he kept the sweet potato fries to himself, LOL, so I assume they're pretty good). The location itself has a definite bar feel, and there is an outdoor "beer garden" area as well. The TVs don't have closed captioning (which might have been nice, as one of them had the Paris Olympics playing), and the music is rather loud (may consider take out next time we're in town and coming here), but the waitstaff is pretty nice and I appreciate the kiosk ordering system.

Yelp
The burgers here are amazing. You can build your own, or pick from a delicious selection on the menu. They also have a good variety of sides to add to your order. We love coming here in the summer to enjoy our meal on their outdoor patio. This is definitely our go-to place for a good burger in southern Minnesota.

Yelp
Second time being here (live an hour away) and wanted to try another new burger, this thing was a monster. Wasn't sure how to eat it so just dug in. About half way through I switched to a fork and finished it off, onions rings were solid too.

Yelp
This is my fiancé's favorite date night place and I must say it's mine as well! Not only do they always have some classic hits from the 90's to the 2,000s on but you can watch a variety of sports, eat flavorful food, and have some of there classic cocktails ! They have boozy milkshakes and margarita mixed they make in house. The service is always so friendly and a 10/10 vibe

Yelp
The food is excellent. I have celiac disease, and require as safe an environment as possible. They offer many gluten free options served on a toasted gluten free bun. I ordered a "Lego" burger with sweet potato fries. The manager confirmed that they have a dedicated fryer and buns are grilled on a gluten free section of the flattop. The manager indicated they have gluten free family members and understood my needs. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
I travel to Rochester to visit family on a semi-regular basis, so I thought I'd give this place a try. It was a slower Saturday night, so it was easy to grab a seat at the bar. The beer selection was good and reasonably priced. Service was speedy and delivered with a smile. Moving to the meal, I chose the "Dude" burger with a small 9-to-5 side salad. The burger was good, but maybe not what I was expecting taste-wise. The salad was good and the used fried chickpeas to give it a crunch. Overall, I will likely give Hot Chip another try but with a different choice of burgers.

Yelp
Food is good. Ordering is a nightmare. Eat at the bar so you don't have to use their awful electronic tablet ordering system. When we ate there at lunchtime, the bar was almost full. Only one small table had guests. Why? Stupid tablet ordering is my guess. The bartender was great. Everyone else, not so much.

Yelp
This place was so fun! One of the order from QR CODE via phone, enter table number and the food is delivered to your table. Ambiance was a bit loud even though it was not very busy. We sat at a table and the QR codes were not working. They do have a kiosk to order from which is what we did. The food was really good and they have boozy shakes! So of course I had to try one. So delicious.

Yelp
I have flagged visiting Hot Chip Burger Bar for a while. On my last trip, I was fortunate to stop by Rochester a few times. On a Saturday afternoon, I dropped by for lunch. Hot Chip Burger Bar is located across from Trader Joe's, in the same large plaza. I had no problem finding a parking spot and backed into one. I walked in and it was busy. I looked over to my right and there was a Pac-man arcade game. I knew that I would love this place. A man greeted me. He asked if I was okay sitting at the bar. There wasn't a free table, so I went for it. I like when the bar area has hooks for your purses under the table. I knotted my crossbody's strap and used the hook to safely stow my purse as I ate. You get popcorn in a small plastic bowl as a starter. It was my second clue that I'd love this place. I love popcorn. It was freshly popped and delicious. I sat close to the theatre-style popcorn maker. Deadly! I resisted going over there to get seconds. The eatery has vegan options, from meatless burgers, to shakes. I was impressed. I ordered a Diet Pepsi. I was thirsty and loved how cold this beverage was. My server was extremely attentive and got me a refill roughly halfway through my meal. I looked at the chef's special on the menu and it was the poutine in my mouth burger. I had to have it to see how great the poutine part was. It makes sense for the Canadian to check out, right? I also got sweet potato tater tots. I love tater tots, but I've never had sweet potato ones before. It didn't take long for my order to arrive. I loved that I didn't get massive portions. They are made for normal human beings! I had a bite of my poutine in my mouth burger. OMG! Delicious! If I weren't in Rochester, this burger would pass as being a Canadian twist on a yummy burger. It had a four-ounce grass-fed beef patty, fries, gravy, cheese curds, mayo, and ketchup, all between a sliced, toasted egg bun. It was heavenly! The beef patty was juicy and seasoned nicely. It was cooked through, which I appreciated. The fries, gravy, and cheese curds were indeed as if you were consuming a mini poutine in every bite. The curds were likely from Wisconsin, which is a benefit of being next door to this state. The bun was perfectly toasted and soft. The sweet potato tater tots. You must get them. They were addictive and yummy. They were crispy on the outside, and naturally sweet and creamy on the inside. I still dream about them. If you like the 80's, the decor will make you happy. From seeing a Karate Kid poster on the wall, to Madonna's eyes touched up from her Express Yourself video to be cross-eyed on the women's washroom door, you'll love this place. The women's washroom was clean. There were well wishes written on the walls. Cool! When you come out of the washroom, there are a number of clocks on the wall. Winnipeg was nicely represented. I paid with a credit card. The transaction was seamless. I keep saying that when I lived it Rochester, it didn't have cool places. I moved away and it does, like Hot Chip Burger Bar. I'm glad that this place exists. Rochester is better for it. I had excellent food and a great experience. I'd return again for a casual, decent meal and my nostalgia fix. (139)

Yelp
This is the best burger I've had in a long time, if not forever. Wow. I ordered the Classic #1 with a side of fries (they come seasoned). It comes with cheese, pickles, onions and WOW. This burger was so hecking good. I ate the whole thing even though I was super full. I also got a boozy shake (the one with vanilla and amaretto). It was very very good and would absolutely get it again. But that burger... I'm going to be thinking about that burger for a long time.

Yelp
Well, this was my first visit here and I didn't know what to expect. You have to order at a kiosk or use a QR code on your phone to place the order. A server saw me reading a sign with instructions and came to ask if I was dining in or picking up. I said eating in. She asked if I'd been there before and I said no, so she gave me the quick instructions. I was let down that she didn't tell me until I asked for my beverage that the cups were next to the bar and the self service station. This was the same person that I shared this was my first visit. I ordered a Lego burger combo. The burger was cooked perfectly. The bun was a bit too slippery. I am not sure if it was coated with butter or what but I would have liked it a little less slippery. It Tasted fine and was not soggy at all. It was just slippery. Service was meh, as the only service you really get is food dropped off. Food was okay. I'm not a fan of fancy lettuce. The lettuce used wasn't one I'm familiar with and I didn't care for that. The bacon was not crispy. Still I recommend the place. The food was filling and even good but maybe not what I was expecting. There are tvs showing sports on two walls. There's a bar. The tables are covered with fun stickers. There was self help free popcorn. I would come again, and probably enjoy it more now that I know how it works.

Yelp
Best milkshakes in town!! Fun flavors like cereal milk as well as your classic flavors - they even have some boozy ones. They have a really good burger, and you can customize to what you want. They keep allergies in mind and they have lots of vegan/vegetarian options. The space is fun, mainly tables for 2 and 4. Cool decorations, and a decent outdoor patio. Service was mostly self serve, you can order on your phone, or on ipads or you can ask for a server if you'd like. So whatever your group is most comfortable with - we ordered on our phone and it worked really well, fast and efficient. Staff was friendly and checked in, even though we ordered on the phone. They came around with water and to answer questions as needed!

Yelp
I have always had a sweet spot for this place since I tried them the first week they opened. I have preferred them over other burgers places for some time. Being able to customise my burger and order has been a huge plus. I love and would recommend their ahi burger as the fish was seared to perfection.

Yelp
Delicious! Hot Chip has always been a place I wanted to try since living here and today was the day. It is centrally located near the Apache Mall / Trader Joe's and is considered 'the best burger in town'. We got there on a busy Saturday lunch and were greeted to a self-service system (probably Covid-19 protocol). Ordering off the computer was to the point and rather easy. Ordered - Call Me The Dude (4/5). This was a really good burger. Ordered it on a gluten free bun with no cheese and it was the right composition. For once, a burger felt light and I was able to finish it. The mushrooms added a nice touch to the burger Hot Chip is great. It's fast, made-to-order, and reasonably priced (~11-13 / burger + fries). cheers!

Yelp
Looked a while for a place to have lunch. Finally settled on Hot Chip. So glad we did! Brioche Buns we extremely fresh and tasty. The burger was cooked to perfection. I did the build your own. The pickles and the rest of the produce were fresh and delicious. Only negative for me was it was a bit loud for my taste but it's ok I'm old.

Yelp
Hot Chip Burger Bar, owned by the same team that opened Porch (also known as Boxcar Hippie), offers a wide variety of vegan options including two different types of burgers. We started with the vegan nachos ($12) and thought they were okay, but nothing to rave about. The queso was great, but the rest of it felt thrown together. The "You're Killing Me Smalls" vegan burger ($12 + $2 for vegan bacon) is a take on the Minnesota standard Juicy Lucy (as in, a burger filled with cheese). I had high hopes, but the burger just didn't wow me. It was fine, and a pretty good price for only $12 (it's the Impossible burger), but that's about it. I did like the fries that came with it. I'm glad Hot Chip Burger Bar is around, and it's not a bad spot by any means, but the vegan options didn't amaze me.

Yelp
This restaurant is unique. You order your food and pay for it and it gets delivered to your table. You either use one of the 3 screens at the entrance to place your order or sit on a table & scan the table's qr code using your phone & place your order. It takes less than 10 minutes to deliver the food to your table. The music takes you back 30 years or so. The ambiance is lively ... colours everywhere you look.. live tv screens. The double patty burgers are great with a twist that suits every taste.

Yelp
I have been on a winning streak of service! Follow me for great service reccos! I had a rough day. A burger and o-rings was all that was gonna solve it. Pulled into Hot chip right after a t-storm bummed to find the patio was closed. All the better for me because I got to have ALLIE as a server. "Keep the gin coming " I said and I had a second drink before knowing I needed it that completely lifted my spirits. Allie is lovely and friendly and balances perfectly when she should stop by and ask how things are going. GET THIS GIRL A RAISE! Bummer the chef burger was no longer being sold (pepperjack, bacon, fried avocado, omg) but the classic was DELISH. Idk what the secret sauce was. The smashed burger was seasoned so well, balanced by the American cheese and onion. I didn't miss it. This basic burger is so good, I can't imagine how good any burgers with more toppings are! Oh right, there were onion rings too. I had been craving them for weeks. These delivered. Good batter without being too thick. Good thick onions. Decent but light salt distro. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Fantastic outdoor seating! We've come to Hot Chip a decent amount since they opened. They've always done right by us, take-out orders during the pandemic were timely and fresh. Prior to the pandemic, great cocktails and a fun divey atmosphere. Dining out now that the weather is nice showed us their outdoor seating area. It's almost like a hybrid of Forager Brewery and Hefe Rojo's outdoor seating - lots of greenspace, ample space between tables, fun and vibrant tables and decor. The staff are always so friendly and fantastic to work with. The food is always good. I'm always hoping for a Juicy Lucy in Rochester, but since Hot Chip is more of a "smashed" burger style, I doubt it will happen here -- doesn't matter. The fries: bangin Onion rings: pretty darn good Wings: They're ok, I'd take or leave 'em Nachos: also great Pickled Pepper Slaw: My partner adores it and gets it over the fries. My usual order is The Dude. I've yet to order anything I don't like, though. Many great options available. I'm glad this place has been surviving and now that I know how great the outdoor seating is, I'm liable to come even more often.

Yelp
Chefs burger. Super tasty. One of the best burgers I've ever had. And I've had a lot. A definite stop next time I'm traveling through.

Yelp
Stopped in from the mall for a quick bite. Burger was good but the space is pretty cramped if busy. I enjoyed the vegan burger, if your looking to try vegan options, check them out.

Yelp
As a vegetarian with a severe milk allergy, I have the hardest time finding restaurants with options for me when I visit my parents in Rochester. This most recent trip home was a last minute endeavor when we learned my brother would be returning from the US withdrawal in Afghanistan in a matter of days. I brought a few bags of groceries to my parents to ensure I'd have food that's safe for me to eat. Then they suggested Hot Chip. Not only did they have a number of options for me to choose from, our waitress was diligent in making sure each ingredient didn't contain any milk products. My food was delicious and I won't lie, I wish I could bring this place with me to St. Louis (MO) !

LuAnn F.

Yelp
Burgers were great! Order from kiosk wasn't ideal as the menu wasn't detailed but the staff was helpful. Can always order at the bar.

Yelp
Don't waste your money at fast food burger places, this place is the bomb for burgers, fries are great too. It so handy next to the mall and easy access. Outdoor dining in summer too with a cool patio.

Yelp
Ohmigod this Is my favorite burger! I get the classic so it's always a little messy, but SO with it! If you're like burgers and fries this is your place! Also have a bar and boozy adult shakes
google avatar

Alexa C.

Yelp
They're delicious...the burgers are to die for, i typically don't smash burgers normally but these burgers are the bomb! Juiciest ever, and double cheese please! And their fries are ok but the Onion rings are amazing! And their milkshake adult or normal milkshake YUMMMMMY The wings of good as well too!

Yelp
What a great burger spot! The atmosphere is really fun and inviting, with lots of pop culture references. The food was fantastic, I'd love to come back to try more of the burger options. We had to get the Pickle Back as well, a shot of Jamison and pickle juice for $2! Would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Great burger places. We were in Richester at the Mayo Clinic and looking for a place to grab a burger and beer. Hot Chios waz the perfect place. Casual dining, friendly and helpful staff. Lots of seating and TVS. The burger cooked just right and good beer selection reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Katrina-Lee R.

Yelp
OMG, best burger in town, made me a happy camper. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Next time we come to Rochester, this will be our go to place. Them burgers are fantastic

Yelp
The spot is wide and really amazing. I sat at patio with my friend outside. The burger and fries were awesome. You have to do self-service for napkins, sauces and to go box.

Kale Y.

Yelp
The food was good they have vegan stuff so that gives it 5 star and the service was really fast that gives another 5 stars And they have really good burgers really recommend

Yelp
This is my absolute favorite place to get a Vegan Burger. This place is so amazing that my wife and i drive over an hour to get a delicious mouth watering Vegan burger. The service and food are Amazing! I love the vibe of the restaurant, how it is decorated. I enjoy the inspiration and uplifting words on the Restroom Walls. I also love the Art in the restroom, it reminds me of my childhood. My wife and i order the Olive it when you call me big papa Vegan burger. It is absolutely delicious! Hot Chips Vegan burgers and fresh buns are so delicious that when i finish my last bite i am a bit disappointed but happy to plan when to go to Rochester for Hot Chip next. My wife loves the vegan bacon she has ranted about this since she 1st tried the Olive it when you call me big papa burger on our second visit. She always says that she wants to order the bacon by the bucket fulI { She usually steals mine off of my burger} I would also have to agree with her out of all of the vegan bacon that we have tried so far, this is my favorite {It taste similar to meat bacon} The names of the burgers are very cool and unique {Very Memorable} I feel like there is something here for EVERYONE not only to eat but to look at and enjoy. They also have really unique and cool stickers at the table. Where they could use some improvement is the fries. When we 1st had Hot Chip last summer the fries were so delicious that my wife and i devoured ALL of the fries before we had even left the parking lot. They were perfectly cooked not to hard or soft, seasoned very well, fresh and hot. After our first experience we would order the fries and they never tasted anything like the fries that we had at 1st. They would be overcooked, taste like they had sat out and were'nt hot. My wife and i stopped ordering fries because of this but we just recently came and i ordered the fries and they were a bit better. Another plus is that i have never tasted old grease with their fries or any other fried side! I highly recommend you trying this place out. You won't be disappointed. *Thank you Hot Chip for your delicious mouth water Vegan burgers and for your AMAZING service, we will see you soon!

Matt K.

Yelp
Wide variety of burger toppings. I love the self service option as well. Great scenery and overall good experience. A bit pricey...

Yelp
As a big fan of burgers, it's always the first food item I check out when I go out of town. I found Hot Chip on yelp, and decided to give it a go. The food was amazing! I got a burger and an adult milkshake. The burger was juicy and flavorful. The milkshake was drinkable and not thick. The pickles on the burger were a very nice subtle touch that complemented the flavor of the burger. A very yummy surprise and a simple way to kick their food up a notch. They're committed to using local ingredients when possible, and that's something that's important to me. The staff were friendly and worked to form a relationship with the customers.

Yelp
Great hamburgers ! Love those great pickle chips, fresh spring mix for the lettuce and the homemade like buns. We will definitely be eating there again!

Yelp
Yum and comfort food orientated. Love that we could take our dogs with us. I've been several times and not a bad meal!!

Yelp
First time here. I ordered lunch special of a Bacon Cheeseburger, fries and lemonade for $10. You order at a computer. A super tall girl assisted. The hamburger was tiny. I predict less than 3 ounces. It appeared hand pattied. The bun was much bigger. I ate some of the bun then just ate the patty. The fries were hot and crispy but some were literally 1" nubs. There were bandanas, sunglasses and bumper stickers with no prices. I inquired if free. They weren't. Add a sign already. It was alright.

Yelp
Best burger I've had in a long time. Juicy even though I got it well done. I also got the whole wheat bun and it was also tasty. The cole slaw and broccoli sides were also great.

Yelp
I was initially really excited when I found this restaurant on Happy Cow and realised it was so close to where we were staying as it's typically hard for me to find quality options for my dietary needs, a trek, or both. Overall I wasn't a fan. $14 for the burger, not including the additional $3.25 side of fries that came with like 10 fries total. My burger was supposed to come with 2 beef patties so when I subbed the veggie patty I assumed I would have 2 veggie patties, but only had one. Overall the burger was incredibly soggy. I was really excited about the mushroom aspect of this burger and ended up very disappointed. I think the veggie patty and porcini mushroom aioli are why this burger was as soggy as it was. The patty literally was falling apart and the aioli was thin and watery. I couldn't even finish the burger and ended up throwing most of it away after a couple of bites. My boyfriend ordered cheese curds as a starter and those were easily the best part of the meal (and the two pickle slices that came with each burger). I'm also not sure if this restaurant was supposed to have service or not, but there really was none. The menu is via QR, you get your own drinks, clean up your tray, food and drinks, and don't even see a server when you pay. We only saw our "server" when our food was dropped off. No one checked on us to see how the food was once we received it or if we needed anything else. All in all, not impressed. I'm not sure if we just came in on a bad day or what, because it looks like other people had a better experience. But I don't think I would recommend Hot Chip Burger Bar.

Yelp
So hot chip has changed to a self serve experience after CoVID. When you walk in you order on a touch screen and then fill your own drinks, take a number and have a seat. The burgers here are amazing though! Though my burger was lukewarm when it reached me that did not change how delicious it was. The burger was juicy and perfectly seasoned, the cheese was sharp and velvety, and the pickles and onions cut through the richness of the rest of the components making for a balanced and complex sandwich. This is the best burger in Rochester. As a side note the fries were also fantastic and seasoned perfectly. The only negative of the entire meal was that my food wasn't hot but the flavor made up for it.

Yelp
Great place for both those who prefer veggie and non-veggie! Delicious burgers, fries, and shakes!

Yelp
First time eating here. Stopped there as it was on our way to the airport. We sat at the bar and the bartender was there immediately. Didn't have to ask for menus, he gave them before we asked. Since we were driving we had sodas, and they had Spring Grove root beer which is great! We had cheese curds for a starter. A bit more expensive than most places, but you get more too, fried to perfection and served with ranch dressing. I had the BBWT burger. They cook all their burgers medium well, which is not what I would ever order. That said, the burger patties (there are 2) have a great sear giving a nice crunch. Add in the bacon jam's sweetness and this is one heck of a treat! The tomato slices add some acidity to balance the sweetness of the jam, but unfortunately they almost overpowered it. Sad! My girlfriend had the Mr. Lebowski. I didn't try it, but she said it was awesome. She's said texturally you couldn't tell it from a real burger, which I totally believe as I'm a fan of mushroom "burgers". The bonus for us was we were super pressed for time. We were in the door, sitting and served in15 minutes, and back on the road in 45. Today that was huge. We'll definitely be back, and we'll post some pix next time!

Yelp
Super Smash Burgers!!!! No frill place that feels like a backyard party. Great beer selection too. My dad appreciates free popcorn and this place has it! Beat burger in Rochester IMO.

Yelp
Only reason they aren't getting 1 star is there servers are super sweet..... the food however is not worth what I paid for...... SUPER SALTY!!!! I couldn't finish my burger cause it was sooo salty! I'm from the south and lord knows we love seasoning but this was horrible. Super greasy and SALTY!!!! If you're wanting a little meat with your salt this is the place. Also everything is extra. Mayo lettuce onion all extra! Now the gummy bear shots were good. Very boozy. Just not worth the money..... I'll pass on this place. But like I said sweet staff!

Yelp
Food was really delicious though I don't quite know what I had because you have to put in your own order at a kiosk when you walk in. First time our group had been here so everyone felt rushed so the next person could make their choice. Prefer MUCH more to settle in, get a drink, review the menu then order. Whatever the burger I got, it was very good along with the adult milkshake - cinnamon cereal milk something and a side salad. Came out very fast so overall the vibe was fast food but tastier and trendier. Cute to have bags of popcorn you can grab while waiting for your food. More self serve expected with getting your own water/soda.
