First of all, the customer service was AMAZING. The lady who greeted me at the front was so kind and welcoming—it truly makes such a difference and sets the tone for the entire experience. I ordered a regular lemonade, which was really good. It’s cold straight from the machine, so there was no ice added, and honestly, that was perfectly fine. The chicken sliders were my absolute favorite. The chicken was tender, full of flavor, and paired perfectly with the slaw and pickles. And let me just say—the side of orange sauce was phenomenal. The loaded tater tots were really good as well, and the egg on top was a nice touch. The lemon pepper wings had great flavor, but they were cooked a bit harder than I prefer. That said, my boyfriend loved them cooked that way, so that one definitely comes down to personal preference. The French fries were delicious—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The macaroni and cheese was super creamy, flavorful, and topped with breadcrumbs, which made it even better. To top it all off, the selection of pastries and sweets was amazing. I was told they’re made fresh daily, and the Biscoff dessert was so, so good. Overall, great food, great service, and a place I’d absolutely recommend. We’ll definitely be back!

Super friendly! The chicken wasn't super spicy but it was extremely tender and a really good overall flavor. Their Mac and Cheese is actually amazing. Super creamy and a great flavor. I don't know if they offer a loaded Mac and Cheese with their chicken but if they don't I hope one day they decide to offer it because it would be a hit! Again, the lady at the counter was super friendly and lovely and if you haven't been to Hot Chix before, check it out because it is great.

Just visited this place and it hits the mark! The food portions are nice, food is fresh and service is very friendly! This is another hot chicken joint in Tampa and what seems to make it stand out are sides. Their Mac and Cheese is absolutely perfect, the loaded tots are crispy and the egg on top seals the deal! Had the slider and tender combo, hot, while wife had it mild and my kid had tenders mild. I was expecting heat with mine, but it never appeared, it was very flavorful don't get me wrong, but it was just not spicy for a hot level. They also appear to use flour dredge instead of a battered dredge so the chicken is more crispy and heavier than the other places. I liked it a lot, but not loved it. Wife and daughter felt the same way. The Mac and cheese and the tots definitely stood out but the chicken not so much. I'll definitely stop by here again if I'm in the area. The only big improvement I'd suggest would be to put some tables indoors, the wall seating with stools is not very comfortable. The best hot chicken I've eaten in Florida hands down. Even better than Dave's! A complete must go if you in the Tampa area. The lady ( not sure of she is the owner) that helped us was very attentive and came to ask if we were good and enjoyed the food. Flavours were really good. Spicy was just perfect heat for us! Mac and cheese was cheesy and flavourful moist but not runny and the fries were perfectly cooked

Great spot! I had it about a few months after they opened and went back now and they’ve gotten even better. The mac and cheese was perfection and the spice level is perfect on the chicken. Super crunchy and very flavorful. Will definitely be coming back.

The food portion is a good size, next time I would definitely like to try the loaded tater tot’s! I went with the chicken wrap with the side of fries. The staff were very attentive, and the food was cooked fresh. Definitely going to try those cookies next time.

I got the number two with the two tenders and french fries with a chocolate chip cookie. The chicken tenders were pretty good! With a good crisp on the outside and well flavored. However, the chicken isn't as juicy as I would like it. The sauce that it has is paired very well with the chicken tenders. French fries are fried well with center crispy exterior. However, I do think it needs some seasoning in order for it to be more impressive. It does taste like a well-done McDonald's french fry. I've had better fries, other places. The cookie was also pretty good. However, doesn't have that chewy interior that I would like. Overall, it's a pretty good place and the prices are OK. The service was great! The person that was taking my order was very accompanying as it was my first time going there.

All around, a solid hot chicken place. The tenders are HUGE. Two tenders in a meal is more than enough when combined with their side. The mac n cheese is delicious The breading is thick and crunchy. I feel like seasoning could be a little more complex. The $4 cookies are a soft and cakey. And the icing on top is not too sweet. The cashier lady was really nice and patient while I figured out my choice. Nice, clean place. Almost off the beaten path, north of Ybor. Near Sanwa Market on Hillsborough

Decided to try this local spot. Got the light hot and mild for tenders with their better than fries. One of our orders was wrong as we wanted regular fries and both came with their tater tots better than fries side. Overall good chicken with a kick. The only reason I'm docking the rating is the price and wrong order. It was the most expensive hot chicken I've gotten in the area so we expected it to be good stuff! I'd recommend to get their own side sauce that's yummy and check to make sure it's all correct.

Definitely worth the stop if you are in the area! Menu isn't extensive, but once you get a food item right, why keep adding. The Mac and cheese was a solid side choice, and I loved all the sauce options. I don't think you can go wrong here with the chicken!! Service was very helpful and friendly. Ambiance was super casual, and not a lot of seating so plan on possibly taking your meal home.

Good hot chicken to try. This hot chicken is located close to Hampton Terrace community. Very popular in this area due to no hot chicken in this area. The restaurant is not open not long ago. They still have the welcoming ballon in the store. I have the two tenders and one side. The tenders are good and hot. But they only have three different hot. The spiciness is good with me but I think can be hotter. The side I have is very interesting. I paid extra with better than fries for the side. This side have hatch fries with fried egg and bacon. My wife has the 3rd wheel. This more combo meal than it can be. Food is good. Package for the to go box is unique.

I had the opportunity to visit them and boy thier Chicken is good I would definitely recommend thier Chicken Sliders and thier Chicken Wrap. Phenomenal!! Come by and visit them. You won't be dissapointed

Food was really solid fries were great, and sandwiches were even better. Interior was pretty nice and very clean with countertop seating. Service was also good woman at the counter was helpful and sweet. I definitely would come back and recommend others to come too. As someone who drinks a lot I wish they had fountain drinks but other than that no real complaints.

This new hot chicken place locates on 22nd St just South of Hillsborough Ave. I ordered a third wheel and I had Mac n cheese for side dish. The differences between chicken tender and slider are the slider got pickle, slaw and top bun. Three degrees of spiciness, I chose mild. The chicken breast meat was fresh, juicy. The coating was flavourful, crunchy. The sauce, slaw were good. The Mac N cheese was in a big cup. I liked the fried garlic and tempura crumble on the top. There are some tables and chairs for dine in but no free water. Customers have to purchase the drink if they want. The service was good enough. This is another good option for people fancy hot chicken.

The menu isn't large, BUT the portions are lol What an awesome new place to the area. My favorite was the chicken wrap... try it next time you go. I specifically loved how neatly everything was packaged.

The wings were taste and well seasoned. They where pretty big tenders and they give you lots of sauce at no additional charge. My loaded tater tots weren't fully cooked on the inside so I'd say skip those and just order fries instead. The food is made to order, so there's a title wait but they have a tv to keep you entertained.

As a lover of chicken I had to come here, the service was on point. Moe recommended all the best food items and they did not disappoint. I truly enjoyed my visit here, you can tell it's family owned they truly make you feel like family. The food was so good definitely get everything I've pictured here! Best chicken tenders I have ever had! The food is made to order so it's hot and fresh.

I've been working in the restaurant industry for a few years now and I know my food safety rules, the woman who made my food today was awful, first she sneezed on my food of 2 tenders and mac n cheese, she was touching raw chicken and my COOKED chicken with the same gloves not changing them ONCE, and she was on the phone holding it with one hand and eating with the other hand WITH THE SAME GLOVES ON. It was disgusting and I had to tell her to remake it for me. At least it tastes good.

I got the chicken tender meal, the breading on the chicken wasn't the best and it's served with a cold bun which i didn't quite understand but, there specialty sauce really brings the dish together. The owner and staff were very helpful and kind when it came down to choosing a spice level when it came to my first time visiting. I can't wait to go back and enjoy the ambiance and more items on the menu.

The food, the service and the ambiance are AMAZING!! OMG their hot chicken strips are out of this world! The tastes are on point every single time and always crispy just how I love them. I recommend 1000%. Try them. The only thing I would say they need to do, is open more spots across Tampa and Land O Lakes.

My friend wanted to get some food pictures with his vintage camera and decided to try this place. When we walked in the owner immediately welcomed us and gave us a rundown of the menu. I ordered "Naked Chix", mild flavor with a side of "better than fries fries". My husband got Naked Chix and fries. My friends got "Third Wheel" and the chicken wrap with macaroni and cheese. It did a little bit of time for us to get the food, we waited about 20 minutes. That being said, it came out PIPING hot and super fresh. The entourage sauce was delicious. The mild flavor still had a pretty good kick to it. The better than fries fries, which were actually tater tots, were great; piping hot and melty cheese with bacon bits. I tried some of my friends Mac and cheese and it was top tier. Would definitely get that next time! The owner was very excited to tell us about his business and gave us a complimentary cookie which was fire. It was a red velvet cookie, with buttercream frosting. It super soft, well balanced; the cookie was slightly less sweet but it was well complemented by the very sweet frosting. Just a small detail that I appreciated. As an aside, the seating inside is really not cut out for big groups, more suited to to go orders. That being said I don't know if the food would be as good if you waited to arrive at a destination. Overall really pleased with the food and experience, would definitely come back!

First the place is pretty cool. Kind of small they only have seating around the wall with barstools. I ended up getting two third wheels ( 1 chicken tender 1 slider 1 side) I went with the kinda hot for heat . For the sides I chose the Mac and cheese and my son went with the fries along with two drinks. I ended spending around 32-33 bucks. I was told it was going to be a 12 minute wait on the food, unfortunately it wasn't . It was nothing they did but around the 20 minute mark we started noticing people who came in after us began to receive there food . The lady at the counter then asked if I still hadn't gotten my food yet. She checked the system and she explained to us the the system had an error and never sent the order to the back. She then offered us free drinks which was pretty cool. The food then came out probably 3-4 minutes later The fries were good we'll seasoned straight cut like McDonald's French fries. The mac and cheese was ok my son really liked it and it came with breading on top so that gave it a nice texture. The slider was honestly a let down . I don't know if it was the bread they used for it but I could have done with out it. Now for the star log the show the tender. For the past month and a half I've been on a mission to find the best tenders in Tampa. I had king of the coop, raising canes , Dave's hot chicken, even went to pdq and grabbed some of their hot tenders because someone said they where the best. This tender was delicious good on flavor and juicy. I rank this tender as one of the greats. Only thing missing was a nice crunch to it honestly. While the batter wasn't soggy it wasn't crunchy it was just there . I paired it with the hot honey they had and man oh man . All in all the place is pretty good ! A little out of the way from me but if I'm ever in the area again I wouldn't mind going back .

Came from Maryland and tried Hot Chix for the first time. It was a 10/10 everything was so delicious!

They have been open for 8 days and I have been there three times. The chicken is the juiciest, tastiest I have ever eaten. The onterauge sauce is my favorite. They treat their customers well and it was a great experience!

The tender sandwich was probably the best I've had in Tampa. Tender, juicy and fries were delicious
