A classic Jersey hot dog spot that’s been in business for 80 years. Open all year round, the hotdogs served here are your standard hotdog. Nothing too crunchy or thick, and the buns have just enough softness to them. The fries are definitely a favorite for me and are the perfect ratio of crunchy/not too soggy. The food comes out rather quick and you can’t beat the price. Take your pick for indoor or outdoor seating and don’t forget to try a birch beer float!

It is exactly what the name says. Hotdogs! You can get mustard, onions, pickles ketchup or relish. Order a side of fries and a birch beer and you've got a filling lunch for a decent price!!!

Craving for some classic comfort food, this spot is a must-visit! The hot dogs are fresh, delicious, and served on soft, small buns with additional options like mustard, ketchup or pickles. Pair them with crispy fries cooked to perfection, and you’ve got yourself a satisfying meal. And the best part? Twenty bucks can easily feed a family of 4; talk about affordable indulgence! This place is perfect for when you want to treat yourself without worrying too much about sodium, carbs, or calories. Just dive in and enjoy! Families seem to love it, probably because it’s budget-friendly and welcoming. But there’s more to this spot than just great food! It’s a piece of history! Open since 1944, this place has been serving up fresh hot dogs for over 80 years, and it still draws a crowd. The young crew in the counter is attentive, courteous, and efficient. Our order was ready fast and the way we wanted. They accept credit cards and cash. The restaurant is relatively clean, with spacious bathrooms, and the parking lot even offers a scenic view of a small stream in the back of the store. It’s the little details like these that make it special. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Whether you’re craving a quick bite or just curious about this historic gem, you won’t be disappointed!

They’ve been around since 1944 and they’ve perfected the hot dog. Deliciously simple menu… hot dogs (and toppings) and French fries. They also have delicious beverages. FYI - Cash Only!

I was super excited to visit this roadside attraction, as it's been there for over 80 years. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, and the line moved pretty quickly. However, I was slightly disappointed in the food. I realize they have been around for a long time and don't need my opinion, but the hot dogs I received were hard and wrinkled ( no pun intended) I don't know if they are kept under a heat lamp for speed or what but I expected a way better plump, juicy dog. Also, there's no real menu, I thought since they specialized in hot dogs, they would have a vast amount of toppings. I only saw ketchup mustard onions and relish, and they were very sloppily assembled. I do appreciate the ambiance and the fact that this place survived so many years. So it definitely warrants a 4 star.

Some of the best Hot dogs you will find in Jersey. No frills. Hotdogs , milkshakes , fries and ice cream. Loaded Rt 80 dogs are the way to go , pickle, ketchup , mustard , onions , relish on a deep fried ripper. Can’t go wrong. Awesome scenery plenty of seating outside on a nice day. Fun stop.

Very tasty and cheap! There aren’t prices on the menu but we ordered 2 route 80 hot dogs and 1 everything dog, French fries, and a birch beer which cost $11.22. We sat in the seating area, which had a few too many house flies. Though you can’t beat the price, the kind and quick service. I would definitely come back in the future.
