Decent food. Not as good as they once we're. Still love the lemonade.

I feel so sad for the employees of this hot dog on a stick. Their fryer seems to be broken every time I come to the mall, and they can only take cash because their system is also down. It looks like the owner of this hot dog on a stick just does not care at all anymore, and the employees are left to manage however they can with broken equipment.

So you see, I was on a date and needed to see the fastest way to get to the mall. Thats when I saw hot dawg on a stick. I IMMEDIATELY called off the date to go here alone. I planned to spend a lot of money, but not on some girl. Now i am getting married to the hot dog on the stick and i could NOT ever be happier, my mom will pay for the whole wedding because i have been living in her basement for about 12 years since i last went on a date(she thinks i am marrying the girl i canceled on( plz dont tell her, i already ate the hot dog btw.

I can be sympathetic to a point but this is getting beyond ridiculous. 4th time in less than two months that I have gone to the mall with the sole purpose of getting my kiddo a corn dog and they are only serving lemonade. No sign, nothing on their website, no one answering the phone for me to see if they decided to fire up their fryers that day... just hit or miss on whether they have anything. Unacceptable.

The two guys working on Sunday are unprofessional. I ordered through the app As I walking through the mall. I get to the counter 25 mins later and my order is still not ready. Not only that but I waited at the counter for 3 mins before anyone came to the counter. He told me he was going to the bathroom and would be back in 5. SMH not to mention he threw fries at me in front of my son. To top it off the hot dogs weren’t even cooked all the way.

This location was closed for a few weeks. When it reopened it was not the same. Not organized. Now it looks like a family owns it. It's very unorganized. Dirty. Food overcooked. Today I ordered one dog and it took 30 minutes to receive it. They were not prepared at all! Nothing was prepared ahead of putting the dogs and cheese actually on the sticks. Very disappointed. I can't recommend for anyone to go there.

Had to update my review from a bad experience about a year ago. My past two experiences have been great! Super nice staff and amazing food! Love the vegetarian options!

Yelp
Did not look clean. Looked very messy and workers hair was hanging out of hat. Did not order. Very sad as I have fond memories of the food from 15 years ago

Yelp
Soooo, this sounds like the grossest, most obviously named thing ever. But, in fact it's like the Dom Perignon of the corn dog world. For some reason its been impressed upon me that Fletchers corn dogs at the Texas State Fair were the apex of corn-dogness. But, I gotta say that Hot Dog On A Stick CRUSHES Fletchers with the first bite. It's the ultimate mall food court "restaurant", a limited menu of counter serviceable items that are ready fast. Every hot dog on a stick is made to order, with some perfect recipe of batter quantity, heat and time in the oil to produce a perfectly crispy, moist, and exceptionally delicious corn bread covered frank on a stake. They are a little pricey for the quantity of food you get. But, MAN I could not stop ordering them and enjoyed then so much that I wasn't even worried about it. Apparently, HDOAS used to be in Texas and isn't anymore. My gf is so in love with these skewered weenies that we diverted into Albuquerque on our road trip to the Grand canyon in order to enjoy it. Maybe it's good it's not local to Fort Worth anymore as I think I'd have no defense against it if I knew one was nearby. With only three locations in Texas, this is unlikely. Californians, though. Look out. Try it at your peril!

Yelp
I have been coming to the Coronado mall location since it opened. A really long time. It "used" to be a treat. We went there today and I always order turkey because I will get a migraine. I know what the turkey dogs look and taste like. I did not receive turkey. Turkey isn't chewy and greasy. I was told I was wrong and they have a new brand. Right. My theory is someone goofed and prepped them wrong. Another thing I noticed is how absolutely filthy it was. Never going back.

Yelp
The food was really expensive. Four dollars for a messily little corn dog. The inside was raw as well

Yelp
My wife and I visited this restaurant in the food court of Coronado Mall on 8-21-16. I remember when I was a teen back in the 80's and Hot Dog on a Stick was in most malls across the USA. This place brought back pleasant memories of years ago. The corn dogs were just as I remember them and the lemonade was BETTER then I remember it! Where can I get one of the iconic hats??

Yelp
Nothing brings back high school memories than being at the mall and stopping by this food court staple. Quirky uniforms aside, pretty great corn dogs, cheese sticks and lemonade. SPX '84 - Go Sartans! Is that Molly Ringwald?

Yelp
I get 2 for $5 with lemonade... It's good and service is fast. My daughter like to have their corn dogs. I think this is better than other places...

Yelp
Nothing is better than fresh lemonade. Wait just kidding, turkey corn dogs dogs are!!! I love how hard everyone works here and they still give great service. I don't eat anywhere else in the mall lol.

Yelp
When it comes to corndogs what more do you really want. They bread and fry the dog right there. The hotdogs are 100% beef Nathan's hotdogs. You also have the choice of veggie dog or turkey dog. They breading is nice and crispy, great texture and the flavor is great! Finish it down with a homemade lemonade. if your feeling extra sassy you can get yourself a fried cheese stick:) I don't frequent this place often as I try to stay away from hotdogs and fried food for the sake of my arteries but its a great treat.

Yelp
I'm sitting here eating the corn dog as I type this out. It took about 15 mins for my order of two beef corn dogs and fries to actually get to me. I ate the food and was disappointed since everyone hyped this place up to have the best and closest corn dogs to the ones from the fair. That was an overstatement. The whole corn dog (breading and hot dog) was very bland. No real flavor besides oil. Yuck! And the fries were too salty I made the mistake of putting ketchup on them. The only thing great about this place is the lemonade. I wouldn't eat here again.
