"The East Village location of this Sichuan restaurant is regularly packed, but it’s far easier to get into than nearby Han Dynasty. Not everything on the expansive menu will be a hit, though. At least one surefire order: any of the spicy noodles on the appetizer section. The hot and sour sweet potato noodle soup in particular is worth picking up." - Eater Staff

Why can I eat so much

Google
I would recommend their new beef oil pot with screwers (although I think their beef oil pot is probably little beef oil and mostly vegetable oil). The screwers with beef with cilantro/mushroom/celery are my favorite. Also highly recommend their scallop. It is very tasty and large. If you think the food is too spicy, they also havr yogurt drink and coconut milk drink which help with the spicyness.

The price is freaking high for hotpot , NOT WORTH IT ! They put two sticks for every meat and that is the trick they got you. Took away ur money. The Boss is toooooo disgusting !

No longer Szechuan food restaurant. Changed ownership. They serve skewer in hotpot and BBQ. Pricy for mediocre hotpot.

Very small and cramped space, especially for a large group, though our group of 10 got seated quickly. The veggie dumplings were just ok, nothing memorable, though the sauces they came with were quite good, especially the spicy one. The soup dumplings were fantastic with nice spongy skin and soup that packs a flavor punch. The main dishes being whisked over our heads from the kitchen looked awesome too. Delightful dumplings.

I can't speak to price as I visited during a food crawl but the pork soup dumplings are absolutely delicious and I had four, despite already stuffing my face earlier in the evening. The dumpling itself isn't too thick and the soup is packed with flavor, isn't too salty and the dumpling sauce is a great topping. It's VERY narrow and a bit warm, but the staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean.

I went here with a group of friends. We ordered the soup dumplings. They were very good. The dumplings were filled with hot soup. The soup is the consistency of the broth of wonton soup. The dough were cooked well. Not too thick, not too thin. It was a large portion of dumplings. There were two steam trays filled with the heavenly stuffed dough. The vegetable dumplings were really good. The skin was thin, and it was bursting with vegetables. The dumplings were served with a nice slightly spicy black sauce. Delicious. I saw the other dishes of food passing by our table. Everything looked delicious. All of the portions of food looked like they were large. Enough to feed a family of 4. I would go back again. The service was good, as well as very friendly. I do not know the prices because I did not pay nor did I see a menu. The restaurant was very crowded. There was a back room.

Delicious dumpling destination. Don't miss the pork soup dumplings, they are superb. Definitely better than anticipated. Other dishes on neighboring tables looked equally delicious. Service is quick and efficient; they graciously hosted our party of 12 without issue.

They have great authentic Sichuan food. Order the pig feet soup!
