Hot N Juicy Crawfish

Visiting from out of town and we don’t have a Hot N Juicy where I live. The last time I visited one of these places was in Vegas over 10 years ago. It only took a few mins for us to be seated, a party of 4. The bucket they brought us was dirty and have leftover juices and sauce on it and the wall at the table we were seated at had juices and sauce on it. So it was already not so great when we first got there. The service here wasn’t that great. Our server didn’t seem very friendly or attentive, and it took a while for him to take our order and get things we asked for. The food itself was okay overall, but the garlic noodles were way too salty. We ended up having to take them off the bill. My brother ordered etoufee and we were later told they didn’t have it more than 15 mins after we placed the order. My drink was also made incorrectly. I ordered a spicy margarita and it was missing the tajin and was not spicy at all. My in-law ordered one of their boils and asked for it to be made spicy, but it was not spicy at all. Nothing really seemed to be going right, which was weird because they only had 3 other tables while we were there, but for the price, I expected a bit more attention to detail on our orders and better customer service.

I stopped by Hot and July to try the crawfish. Being from the South, I had to give them a shot! They don’t taste exactly like they’re from the Gulf, but the seafood here is still really good. I actually brought my brother here one year as a surprise, and he loved it. The waits can be long in the evening, but if you come during the day there’s no wait and plenty of seating. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the place is clean. I’m thankful for the great experiences I’ve had here so far, and we’ll definitely continue to come back!

Been here a few times since I used to visit Phoenix for work multiple times a month. My family and I decided to dine here because we wanted Hot & Juicy. I've been to a handful of the their restaurants in Cali and Vegas and unfortunately, this location is not as good as the Vegas locations that I frequently visit. Service was ok. He was nice. My daughter tried to order a margarita but was told they ran out of tequila the night before. Next, I wanted a glass of Cabernet and was told they didn't have any but they did have Merlot. Food: Crab Legs- Hot & Juicy Sauce add corn, sausage and egg. Garlic Noodles And my family order combo seafood boil and appetizers. The crab legs were yummy. I always enjoy the sauce. I love when the legs have a lot of meat and you can break it without splitting it in half. But this was not the case. Sigh... not sure if the legs were overcooked. Nevertheless, the sauce saved it. My first time trying the garlic noodles. I've never seen it on the menu so it must be new. Overall, I'd still visit all Hot & Juicy Restaurants. The sauce is what sets them apart.

Would have given 4 to 5 stars if the margarita drink was actually worth $14. Smallest glass ever and tasted like orange juice with a hint of liquor.

We went after the CK memorial, so you can imagine the crowds of people. The hostess (I wish I got her name) she was smiling the whole time and really welcoming. She is so pleasant and managed the waitlist efficiently and precisely. We only waited 20 minutes for a table. Our server Cee (her name tag indicated that she is a team lead as well) was incredible. She got quadruple sat with tables and nailed her points of service. She took everyone’s drink orders, dropped off all the drinks, then took food orders, and consistently checked everyone in her section. She also had an amazing support staff that helped deliver food and drinks. In its entirety, the team shows that they work together to optimize a great experience for their customers. While most people focus on food criticism, I enjoy recognizing those who work hard. I hope management sees this and gives this team a much deserved recognition. GREAT JOB HNJ!!

Absolutely disgusting. The sauce was so sweet and it was thick very thick. They had to change the recipe it does not taste nothing like it use too. The seafood was cooked good my corn was very cold. So disappointed. Whoever is cooking in the back needs to be fired. They need a new cook . I will not be coming back

I ordered the fried shrimp for an appetizer. The shrimp basket is big enough to be a meal! I couldn’t eat more than 2 shrimp! They were huge!! The batter was okay but not the best I’ve had. I’d give the fried shrimp a 3/5. The catfish basket was very filling and decent. I love hot sauce with my catfish and wished they had some. They had Tabasco sauce! I now see why some women carry hot sauce in their purse 🤣🤣!! I’d give the basket a 3.5/5 because the fish was mid but the seasoned fries were divine!! We got the Get Your Feet Wet boil & it was underwhelming to say the least. The bag didn’t have eggs even though we asked to add them. The sausage was good but the shrimp wasn’t flavorful and tasted like cocktail shrimp. I’d give the boil bag a 2/5. The flavors weren’t flavoring! The good thing is that everything comes out piping hot and cooked to order. The waiter we had was very helpful and kind. The restaurant was spacious and it didn’t take long to get your order.

Don’t do it. They show a picture of Cajun fried shrimp and use a cornmeal catfish fry batter instead. They wouldn’t know Cajun if it slapped their mama.

The food was delicious!! The servers were friendly and helpful. I was a little hesitant to eat here after reading some of the reviews but it turned out to be a good experience! We were in the area for a Luke Combs concert. Most of the customers were there to eat before the same event. Yet, they were playing rave type music (a little loud). I feel like they could have taken advantage of the event and played country music. It would have drawn in more customers. Most restaurants in the vicinity took advantage of the event. They should have done the same. Otherwise, it was great. I would go again.

Worst service I have ever had. They had nothing to drink other than water. The waitress was so busy she never checked on us, we had to get up and wait in line to pay for our meal. I will never come here again. The food was not as good as I expected the potatoes was under cooked , the was more sausage then anything. I felt shorted on my crab legs and the shrimp was to chewy. There was barely any sauce to coat my food. Do not go here instead go to angry crab and get a good meal for the price and get better service. If I could give this place a -5 I would.

Love coming here for their medium lemon pepper shrimp! The service is always fantastic when we get Jonathan. If you're into seafood boil, this is the place to go in the west valley.

So sad because this used to be my favorite place, but their quality has decreased tremendously! They're food is horrible now the service was great (but I was just picking up an order) but the food was awful. For $60 for my husband & I, we expected more.

Came in after a 45 min wait for two. Got seated a lopsided table. When I say lopsided, it was LOPSIDED. I saw a couple extra tables open so I asked to get seated at a new one and the waitress kinda hesitated and we ended staying at a wonky, lopsided, wiggly table. Sat for 15 min before we even got spoke to and greeted. Took about 25 min to get our sodas. Food came in waves so wife and I didn't get to eat our meals at the same time. Waitress was nice but she seemed overwhelmed. Food was absolutely great. Had snow crab, shrimp and the battered shrimp. Had the hot and juicy sauce and it was delicious. Wife's garlic butter was great too. Only thing I can say was service was not up to par and really affected our experience. Took about 45-50 after being seated to get the first bite of food so irritation started. We will eat here again but not this location.

Our service was decent, except for a waitress with glasses that took a plate of the food back and was very snippy once we complained that it wasn't hot. We waited 45 minutes for our food after we sat. The food wasn't that good. Wouldn't recommend or return.

We came to Hot N Juicy Crawfish after the 49ers @ Cardinals game on Sunday December 17th. We put our name down on the waitlist, quoted about an hour, then they text you when your table is ready. We got sat inside which we were happy about as it was dark by then and getting cold outdoors. Once we got sat, we were greeted pretty quickly, then got our orders taken. Food came not too long, but they forgot to give us silverware which I thought was strange you had to request it ultimately. The shrimp was really salty, I think to give it flavor they probably cake it on. Not terrible, but for sure not great.

Raw oysters, seafood and crawfish boil! If you like the Louisiana style boil seasoned with Old Bay, this place delivers. I am from Singapore and have grown up with live seafood and prefer my corn less boiled. Get ready to get your hands dirty and dig in!

The service here was the worst service I've had ever had. Our "so called sever sirena was absolutely horrible ! She only checked on us once the whole meal. She totally forgot to put our order in we waited over an hour our food. If we never said anything to another server who knows how long we would have waited for our food. She never once acted like she cared about our food no sense of urgency no at all. Then on top of that they never offered anything on top of their horrible service. Please make sure to at least have a manger on or people who know what they are doing. I had a "team lead" tell me they don't know what they can do. And just told me to write a yelp. Like what ?!

Okay. Let's get one thing clear this was a mixed bag of a place for sure Firstly let's start with the positives The server Jessie was right on top of everything. She was patient with my mom and her questions, she explained things really well and was friendly 10 out of 10 The manager, she heard my issues and followed up as far as I'm aware so she also got a 10/10 Now for the not so positives We waited 20 minutes to be seated, perfect as expected and explained We were seated and the server came up immediately and engaged us. We took a bit to order and she got it all down We ended up waiting 30+ minutes for the food 3 po boys 2 baskets of something with fries Everything came out around room temperature I stopped the runner to let her know my poboy was basically void of my protein choice. I asked her how long it was sitting in the pass bar and she snapped at me So okay Let's go get the manager My server grabbed the manager and I spoke with her and things were set into motion to make it right So basically. I hope I see that manager and server somewhere else with less issues cause they were great but I won't see them at this restaurant again as I won't be returning. In retrospect I've had better at worse rated places

After waiting in store at the front counter for 15 minutes to place a To-go order I walked out. There was a line building up behind me waiting to be seated for as long also. There was a gentleman who walked in after both groups in front of us, and after 15 minutes he was helped first, without any of us ever being acknowledged with a " hello", "welcome in" nothing. The last time I came here there was also an extremely long wait but I chalked it up to being over a holiday and weekend. There are too many other places I can go at Westgate and receive good service.

the service was okay, our waiter didn't really check up on us but it's fine he was nice when he did though. the flavor we got for the seafood boil was kind of bland, needed more seasoning for sure and the "very spicy" was not spicy at all. maybe for some, but i question how it's the hottest level. the shrimp on the other hand was the main issue. the heads were already falling off on most of the shrimps when our meal arrived and there was a lot of poop in them. also, the shrimp was undercooked!!!definitely still a little raw, same with the potatoes. they were super hard. i guess the only good thing was the sausage. i probably will not be coming back but worth the try!

Hot n Juicy will always be a favorite for me. My usual order is lemon pepper with medium spice and it did not disappoint. We went on a Friday evening and we were sat down fairly quickly but I know that it can be a long wait during the weekends. Our food came out fast and our server was always making sure we had what we needed.

The food was decent, but the service left a lot to be desired. Our server, Keen, was far from friendly and neglected to check on us after taking our orders. We had a missing order and when we tried to get his attention, he was too preoccupied with eating candy and chatting with another table. To top it off, he rudely dropped off our bill while we were still eating. It was so frustrating and uncomfortable that we decided to pay and leave mid-meal. The only redeeming aspect was the helpfulness of the food runner when we inquired about our missing order.

The food was amazing. I would definitely recommend the hot and juicy blend with the hot for the crawfish and shrimp. Being from Arizona I am not in tune with how to eat blue crab, but I would say do not waste your money on them. There is not a lot of meat, I would eat the shrimp or the crawfish. 10 out of 10

Noisy enough to wake the dead. The staff is nothing but millennials with crappy sarcastic attitudes and the crawfish were overcooked to the point that they were more rubbery than the last bad calamari I had eaten... So, bad food, crappy service, and deafening ambiance.

Never miss with the presentation and quantity of food. It's season in every single bite.

As soon as you walk in personal is super friendly, get seated on time. food is delicious, the chicken tenders are amazing super crispy love their breading.

First time here Walked in Just kinda stood there No one greeted us or even acknowledge us for a few minutes We were the only ones waiting ....... that was kinda awkward Finally got seated but that was weird also because she didn't wait for us to get to the table before she just walked away 3 stars because the food is tasty.... and food came out fast, prices are reasonable Our servers was attentive Venue is nicely decorated there are TV located in side And a full bar Sorry didnt take more pictures of the food I was too busy eating We ordered a pound of shrimp (head off) added corn, potatoes and sausage. One order of steamed rice and also rolls as well as an order of catfish Catfish was soo good when I dipped it in the spicy garlic sauce !!! Total was $60

I thought this was the same place as Vegas but it wasn't. Service was good but the speed wasn't due to a large party leaving right before we arrived and there only being 3 cooks. When the food finally came out it was definitely fresh so points for that. But something was off with the flavor. I'm going to assume it was the Cajun seasoning. Nope not a fan. I also had a lemon drop martini that was served in a regular glass so I swear it was just lemonade. Eh won't be back again. Hate that it sucked. I was looking forward to it.

Meeh! Been there. Done that. Not worth the hype when you have had authentic Cajun cooking. I ordered a pound of spicy shrimp. Totally bland. Apparently lots of people crave this stuff as it's been difficult for us to get in for months. We were in the area and decided to see what wait time was like at 10p. We were tickled to death when we were seated immediately, outside. It was a cold night, but I didn't mind. However, before the food came, the waiter offered a move to the inside. That was a nice gesture! Overpriced for bland, rubbery shrimp tho.

I went in a few hours ago, they told me a 15 minute wait, we waited 30 minutes and over the course of that time they were seating people that would walk up and interrupt the servers. Had to make yourself known to be seated. It seemed extremely low staff as there were only two servers and one of them was trying to also be the hostess because no one was there. I don't remember our servers name but she was very sweet. She didn't come by as often as I would have liked but she had so much going on I don't blame her. I was with two other people and all of our food got out at different times so the other two kind of sat and watched me eat towards the end. I got the drool, the shrimp was very mushy and some of the crawfish was too. I feel like I got less than .5 lbs of snow crab too. It just seemed very crazy for the two girls working I felt so bad for them. And I wish my shrimp was good but I just felt gross eating it.

I love eating here. Great music, good vibes, and the best people at a restaurant all around. Good energy for sure! I had their happy hour menu and it was a really good deal. My family was helped by a handsome lad by the name of Jonathan. Hard to miss him, big smile, good energy, and amazing service and vibes. What really amazed me was the level of professionalism and service my family had from Jonathan and the staff members! Multiple staff members serviced our table so it was great getting everything we needed. Good food as always! Give Jonathan a raise! Absolutely phenomenal job! 100/10

Be ready for workout cracking them crawfish, yum! Waitress was very helpful and kept watch on us. We feel this will be a new place to eat when we head to the west side of the city.

Food is so amazing they don't skim out on the crawfish meaning little to no claws to make it count as a pound. Amazing service but the only bad thing is the corn it was just nasty

Used to love this location especially the food but the service yesterday was horrible. Didn't respect our wait time, my friend had a table for around 7pm and the two ladies especially the "teamleader" at the front desk told us we had to wait till 9:30 even though when we arrived they told us it would just be an hour wait but turned out to be a 130 minute wait over 2 hours. They lost a lot of business last night cause we were a huge group and starving. womp womp

I love it here! I seriously can't get enough, it's favorite ! Of you go a few hours after they open it won't be as packed but if you go later on in the day, there could be a bit of a wait time.

Delicious! We ordered to go and had a feast at the house. Enough for leftovers. Great price for bomb food!

Food was delicious, the service was great. It is a favorite spot for my husband and me. Wait time is usually very short, not too crowded.

We decided to go here on a Thursday. It was busy but so worth it. Breanna, our server, was really attentive and made sure we enjoyed our time. I later found out they were short staffed that night, but I never would have known. Breanna was serving several tables at a time and she had the best attitude throughout. The food was great but the service is what keeps people coming back. We'll definitely be back! Thank you Breanna!

2 of us for lunch today, I received & finish my poorboy before the second meal was delivered plus some. food was hot once we received meal. I had to order my drink twice before it was brought to the table. only 4 tables had customers on the Tuesday afternoon. it may be a while before we come back

Technically doesn't deserve one star. I took my daughter & granddaughter there for her birthday. Started off with 3 ice cubes in vodka tonic and no limes. Asked the server for limes and he didn't even know what they were. I had to tell him they were the green ones. It went down from there. Calamari was not good, sent it back and server reordered it. No crab crackers so difficult to eat the crab. We finished eating and I asked to speak to the Manager. Calamari arrived. Horrible over cooked and chewy. Not edible. No manager on site. Woman in charge took of the drinks from our order. Worst experience ever at a restaurant.

Have to say this was a pleasant surprise! Wanted to step out for my husband's birthday. We typically go to the Yard House but the wait time was an hour so we figured we would try something different and I'm so glad we did! We tried a few different menu items and each bite was tasty. Our server was Liz.... she put up with my husband's endless questions about spice level. He's Mexican and I'm white so we tend to have issue with spice. All in all service was great, the food was super and it was a delicious meal.

Very good food. I often eat at the ones in Vegas . I liked this one alot and they serve liquor :). The food is very good and tasty. The only issue is there is a metallic like aftertaste after you eat the food. Other than that everything is good especially their sauce . & I love their poboy sandwiches

Smack your momma food!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well worth the money. Don't forget to take you some sauce home.

So, I am waiting to have my Tesla to be serviced, I was curious and walked in to this Hot N Juicy Crawfish place. By the way, I have never tasted Crawfish before so I was curios. My taste Buds was Surprised! It was so delicious and Yuma and more Super Yum! The spice deliciousness was requested to be mild and it has transported me to Louisiana, without the inconvenience of a Flight ticket price or traveling. My server, his name is Jake. Please please give him a Raise!!! He is beyond professional. His service was so outstanding, it was an Amazing and Professional. Thank you so much for the wonderful time and Experience. I it.... I will be back...

Honestly they take forever just to give you an online order they be taking like an hour or two even after you order from them like 30 or 40 mins before.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner (1st time) and I have to say, the ONLY reason I'm am rating 5 star is because of Damion our waiter/server. This young man was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and Top Notch customer service . If i could rate the Food separately, We would rate the food 3 stars... Food was ok. We ordered lemon pepper shrimp and crab legs and the seasons was a little to salty for use. We also ordered Cajun calamari which were our FAVORITE!! I would go back just for the calamari. Damion, my wife and I thank you for the great customer service you provided. GO DODGERS !!

We ordered to go. One of the orders were three lbs of crawfish. Brought it home and we could not eat it all whatsoever. We ordered the live crawfish. But the crawfish were spoiled and old, so obviously not live crawfish. The meat from the tail was mushy and it smelt so bad we honestly had to throw it away. It's very disappointing since that was quite a bit of money down the drain. Would not recommend.

No flavor on the Luisiana style. sauce was super watery - tasted like chicken flavored cup of noodle broth

Was here for lunch on Saturday March 25th '23. To begin with, the music was WAY too loud. Add a restaurant full of people & you can barely hear the person you are seated with. The server, Lily was very nice & tried to be as accommodating as possible. The real complaint is the kitchen. I was with a party of 4. Two meals came out, the other two? We waited another 25 minutes. All I ordered was a shrimp po' boy. Not sure why it took 45 minutes. My husbands shrimp & crawfish was out in 20 minutes. He was done with his meal as mine was finally brought out. Once we got the food, it was delicious. This kitchen needs better management. Why was half a ticket served? We were on one check, should have all come out at once. The table behind us had the same problem, so this wasn't a one-off.

Sandra was soooo great! friendly, super welcoming! which was great for someone who came alone. I'd come again cause of her. food was good like usual. fast and efficient with my order and service overral. thanks to Sandra enjoyed my meal.

Fun was delicious like always, and shout to a waiter name Josh he was always making sure we had everything we needed and with a good attitude.

Better of the faux cajun places in the area. More pleasant than the angry crab places by far.

Aden was awesome at his job great service food came out hot and ready he came by several times to check on us. The food was delicious.

Waited 15 min . Before I got up n found someone who thought he might be the manager (keen). On name tag..... Can't make this up ...and they weren't that busy. I got sat ..when I walked threw the door....so I can't tell you if the black mussels were good or terrible .... I had sea food cost to cost.. told the manager.. I was going to spend my money some where else .
