Hot Tails

I’m in town for the week working and wanted something good. Checked it out because they had great reviews and I can say, this place does not disappoint at all. I travel all over the US working and this is definitely one of my top 5 best restaurants I’ve eaten at to date. The fried gator appetizer has a great flavor and goes great with their in-house sauce too. The crawfish Poboy is absolutely amazing. The flavor it has and it’s over all makeup is so great. The “whole” sandwich is huge and well worth it. The fries are amazing also along with their in house sauce. Last time in I had their “choose 2” combo platter. I had their fish and shrimp platter and it was superb also. The taste you get from every bite is just perfect and, I keep saying it, the in-house sauce just blends with everything there. And I can’t forget about the Couyon Melt. I was not disappointed with this burger. The expectations fell right in line with the rest of the food here and was extremely flavorful. Overall, 10 stars here for sure. I highly recommend you going here and getting something to eat.

Food was good. Grabbed a seat without a wait. Staff were all nice. You have to walk up and order/pay at the counter in the rear of the restaurant, before being seated, which is a bit strange to me. If you've never been there, it's hard to make a decision on what to eat that quickly. I need time to look over the menu. Lol. We went ahead and got seated, then someone went to the back to order for us. Also, your table doesn't really have a server, or we didn't that night. You just kind of get up and take your drink to the back for a refill or get the bartender's attention. Just different from a normal sit down style restaurant, not really an issue. We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. Fish batter has some heat. I like spicy, so wasn't an issue for me. Husband liked the crawfish.

I am a TN native who had to get the Louisiana experience, I popped in to Hot Tails. Lemme tell you this place is off the chain! The scenery is glorious, and it feels like home honestly. I got the Crawfish burger cooked to perfection so damn good!, and the Red beans were to die for! I highly recommend beyond measure! The staff are absolutely on point, I can't wait to get back!

Best gumbo I have had in years!! Etoufe was delicious as well. It's a little pricey, but I plan on going back when in town!

The food was good the service was great. Can't wait to go back to Louisiana will definitely be stopping here to eat again.

I was in the area, and wanted to try something local... There's a location in my area, but I wanted to try the original... Never been to the second location yet, but I'll get there eventually. First off, I love the atmosphere and the decor. The country music added to the atmosphere. I got the crawfish bread and the New Orleans style bbq shrimp. Both dishes were AMAZING!! They really put their foot in it! Since the 2nd location is much closer to me, I definitely have to geaux there soon. Hopefully it's just as good as the original!!

Loved it! Fabulous Cajun food!! This is the type of place that visiting Louisiana is all about!! We had a party of six. Everyone ordered something different and we all enjoyed it.

I was in the area on business and decided to stop in. Hands down the best food I have had in the 3 days I have been here. Everything my group ordered was phenomenal and the service was great as well. If you are like me and not from here the following will be helpful: they have happy hour specials on appetizers which are very reasonably priced and kids meals are available and priced reasonably. For the amount and quality of food the prices are very fair!
