Google
Hotbox is a special place—cultivating a sense of engaged community and mindfulness through its excellently delivered classes, facilitated by a relentlessly wonderful roster of teachers. Of course, "rating" a yoga studio for these characteristics kind of feels like rating a gym based on the obvious merits of exercise; but, the interactions here—from the very first time I walked in the door—have made my trips there feel like highlights of the week. Sign-up is easy; classes start on time; facilities and equipment are functional and well maintained. Can't recommend highly enough!

Google
There is no other yoga studio that compares to hot box the quality of yoga that is done there is like no other . The teaching directions alone are not Implemented in some of the other Yoga studios that I’ve tried. The only reason why I tried different places is because my sister recently has gotten into Yoga and she doesn’t like the hot part. I’ve tried three different studios and I won’t continue to go there especially after going to the hotbox Yoga it’s like no other !!!!! Also if u try the 40 for 40 u will be completely hooked !!!!

I am one with my mind and body through the beautiful and challenging flow of power and peace. Plus Hot Box is a family to me. Love the new heaters too!

Elisabeth A.

Google
I love the room and the light that came in. I loved the heat but then I also loved the fan that goes on. I love the teacher Julie Basla. I thought she was terrific and I really liked the people who go there ..so the only drawback is it’s in Manayunk and I live in Center City, but other than that, I would definitely come out again!

Google
I love this studio! I have been going to HotBox since Sept. 2024. I loved my first class and immediately signed up for the 40 days for $40 (an amazing deal!). The community here is amazing and I have gotten to know some amazing people. The instructors here are always kind, helpful, and supportive and my yoga practice has grown so much. I am grateful to have found this community and incorporated yoga into my daily routine!

Google
The classes are very well put together. I have taken classes from many different teachers, all incorporating their own unique style, which is very appreciated. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and the space is always kept very clean.

Google
Katina is a wonderful yoga teacher. She's super patient yet always challenges me to try something new and push a little further. Her classes refresh the mind, body & spirit!

Google
Great spot!! The class at 6:15 this past Friday was amazing! Definitely recommend! Felt so at ease and comfortable! Thanks for a great session.

Yelp
Best yoga studio in the area! The classes can be intense but so worth it, always love getting my sweat on!

Yelp
Tried a Saturday morning class with Sarah for the first time through my ClassPass membership and I must say I really enjoyed myself here. The space was clean from the downstairs and upstairs floors--The space it a bit tiny but also has a sense of inclusiveness to it so I didn't mind; but can be overwhelming if you don't enjoy working out in front of a bunch of people. The instructor was very nice, and encouraging the entire time as the class was pretty intense but definitely perfect for all levels as you can go at your own speed. I sweat so much, I honestly felt like I was losing weight on the spot LOL but rule of thumb maybe bring a hot yoga mat opposed to a traditional yoga mat, water and definitely a towel or you'll end up like me with sweat in your eyes haha. Super excited to attend my next class.

Yelp
Beautiful studio space, great teachers, and a hard workout. Everything was also very clean from the floors to the bathrooms.

Yelp
This is my go to yoga studio! I've been going here ever since I moved to Manayunk and I've even brought a few friends and gotten them hooked. Prices are reasonable for classes, they have a great student discount and I always get a great workout in here. I'm very grateful to Hotbox for keeping me healthy and happy.

Yelp
Love these guys! I'm 63 and recovering from two surgeries so I tell every teacher I may back out of a few poses. They're always great about it. Their newcomer package is ridiculously generous and the space is clean and cared for. Sweet vibe.

Yelp
Peace..love .. and healing.. I have practiced at other studios. This place feels like home. I am absolutely happy to practice at this studio with wonderful and amazing instructors.
google avatar

Diamondz W.

Yelp
Sarah Panetta, Ava, Tim Fullerton, Marty, Meg, Annemarie are the best teachers. Monthly rate is very affordable. I cannot think of a better place to practice.

Emily T.

Yelp
Always feels so peaceful and welcome here. Classes are great and all the instructors give good variety in all the different classes. Love love love it here

Yelp
I went to an 11:00 class on a weekday. The instructor was super nice and mellow. She showed me around the studio and it was cute and clean. When class started, I was surprised only 5 people showed up. I really liked the studio space and the temperature was on point for a hot yoga class. Unfortunately the flow ended up being 4-5 sun as followed by a couple of random balancing poses. I might be biased because I am used to a faster paced class but I felt jipped for paying for someone to tell me how to vinyasa and then stretch.

Yelp
I have been attending hotbox for over 2 years, and this studio truly makes you feel a part of a yoga community. All the teachers are very welcoming, and I love that a membership at this studio also enables you to take classes at the hotbox in west Philly! My favorite class is the power beats class on Friday afternoons, usually a bigger crowd but full of energy. If you are a first timer to hot yoga, definitely let the instructors know. It is a complete judgment free zone, and they will help you through any tough poses/overall preparedness. You can't go wrong with any teacher, they all have different styles and bring different energy. My personal favorites are Eliakim, Courtney, Lauren and MJ! But haven't been disappointed by anyone else! One of the greatest things is that they always have some sort of special for classes. For intro, 40 days for $40, you can't beat the deal... especially if you truly want to experience hot yoga for the first time. Over the summer I was able to buy a 20 class package for $150, and had over 3 months to use it.

Yelp
I love the natural light in the yoga studio! High ceilings and light colored walls make this a great space. Teachers are very good. Be sure to take a few yoga classes before you go because they don't do the moves with you.

Yelp
I have been at Hotbox for over a year now and I must say it's the best yoga studio I've ever been to. You are in such a welcoming environment when you walk in and surrounded by so many amazing people. The instructors are very knowledgable and remember you by name every time you come in. The membership also allows you to attend the West Philly location which is great to change things up. For those who are interested in scoring free yoga classes, check out their energy exchange program. This program allows you to help out the instructors and maintain the facility in exchange for a free classes!

Yelp
I moved from Fairmount to Manayunk last year and was very sad to leave my two favorite studios, Yoga Habit and Priya. Hotbox has definitely filled the void for me! I was inspired to write this review after returning to class yesterday after a hiatus and having a really fun and difficult practice. Marty, the instructor, pushed me to try a position I have difficulty with and it was so inspiring!! I left feeling very sweaty and tired, but also energized. Love this place! PS - I saw a complaint about customer service earlier and while I haven't had that problem, it's worth noting that it's under new ownership since that review was written!

Yelp
I've been attending Power Yoga classes at Hot Box Manayunk for 2 weeks now and it has been a really great experience. I LOVED class tonight with Lindsay - she was warm yet still pushed us to try new things. The instructors have all been helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend

Claire H.

Yelp
New to the area and was looking for a welcoming studio to join. Found two lovely studios on/near Main St. in Manayunk- Unity Yoga & The Wall - that offer a *free* new student trial class before committing to a package or a purchase, which is extremely helpful for those of us looking for the right class fit. Mentioned the desire to try a class to be sure I like it before committing to a package to the woman at the Hotbox registration desk and she curtly replied, "We don't do that. You need to either pay $18.00 for a drop-in class or pay $40.00 for a package." I'd never taken a class there and would've liked to try before buying to be sure it's what I'm (we're looking for. Well, Hotbox, you lost not one but two potential new students today.

Yelp
There aren't enough great things to say about Hotbox Yoga. I started practicing about 5 years ago in Pittsburgh at an amazing studio and was never able to find the perfect replacement in Philadelphia until I came to Hotbox. Things that are important in a yoga studio: friendly community environment (check), enthusiastic and challenging teachers (check plus!), clean practice space (check), class availability and variety (check plus!), affordability (check), and a 90+ degree room (check). I don't like to play favorites, but I'm going to anyway. Jane, Maura, Brad and Robyn teach my favorite classes. It's amazing how you different a practice can be with a different teacher. If you want to learn some new poses and try some interesting transitions, go to Jane. if you want to focus on your breathing and learn the art to flowing, check out Maura. If you want to get wrecked by the toughest workout, go to Robyn or Brad's class. This isn't to say that everyone at HBY isn't great, these are just my personal favorite classes. If you're new, you can try it out $20 for two weeks unlimited. That's an insane deal! HBY will give you the best workout you've had in ages, get you to seriously sweat, and make you feel relaxed, focused and present. Don't be afraid of hot yoga! Try it. It's worth it.

Yelp
I am so glad I found Hotbox Yoga in Spring of 2012! The classes are a heated flow, so if you haven't been, come ready to sweat (towel and a bottle of water are a great idea, and maybe a change of clothes for after). Their teachers are approachable, knowledgeable and bring fantastic energy into the studio--all things I really value as a student. Hotbox Yoga's physical space is something that really distinguishes it from other studios in the area. It's a large, gorgeous space filled with natural light. I've practiced at other studios in the city (which I also love), but HBY is the only one so far who can boast a consistently clean space. The bamboo floors are level and splinter-free. There are enough blocks for everyone. There are two changing rooms, and the bathroom is always clean, and always has soap, towels and tp (I was surprised to learn how few places remember these things!) HBY also offers quality rental mats, so if you forget to bring yours, so you don't have to worry about getting something you're going to slip on during practice. I love how HBY keeps everything very simple, yet manages not to miss a detail. It's been providing me with a distraction-free place to deepen my practice. So yeah, the space is great, but it's the teachers who really make the experience of practicing there something that goes beyond that. Lauren, Brad, and the other teachers have been a source of inspiration and encouragement for me with yoga. Each teacher puts their creative mark on every class. The teachers and the students are all really nice, which creates the kind of positive community you'd hope for in a yoga studio. There are several community classes offered through the week, which does two great things: 1: makes a yoga class a more affordable things to add to anyone's day and 2: there's a good turn-out of people to those classes, so if you're new, you have a lot of people to look at to catch on to the poses quickly! I also like that I don't feel like I need a degree in Sanskrit to know what I'm doing. All in all, it's a space I've felt comfortable and inspired in, and the work-out I get always feels challenging (in a good way-I want to be challenged in the yoga studio)! I agree with Caitlin, I can't get enough!
google avatar

Colleen M.

Yelp
I'm not sure what everyone is complaining about but I thought the class I took was awesome! I dropped in for the Saturday community class which wasn't packed so we had extra room to spread out. Apparently the classes do get packed but community classes tend to be a bit smaller. Kari led the class and she gave me corrections when needed as I'm not a yoga pro just yet. I didn't know all of the poses so I had to keep looking up but that didn't seem to hold me up or be distracting. Definitely work at your own pace to see what works for you. The class moves along relatively quickly but still with a few short (like 30 seconds) breaks to grab a drink or dry off your face which will undoubtedly be dripping with sweat. I will certainly be back for the new student 2 week unlimited package for $20!

Yelp
I have been attending yoga sessions at this location here and there over the almost 4 years I have lived in Manayunk. I really enjoy the studio itself, the large open window that serves as the front wall is my favorite aspect. All of the teachers have been great, the classes have a nice flow to them and really give you opportunity to push yourself. I always walk away feeling refreshed and knowing that I got a great workout. However, the things that I do not enjoy about this studio are difficult for me to overlook. During the peak hours the studio is often LOUD. Very, very loud. While students are waiting for class to begin they are often having full blown conversations on their mats. There have been times where it was so loud that I have set up my mat and waited downstairs until class was about to begin. It is a very unsettling way to begin a yoga practice, and in my opinion does not line up with some of the core values of practicing yoga. And at the end of every class I have ever attended, there is always a round of applause by students and teachers. Again, this is unsettling to me. After finishing a session, I am often feeling satisfied, meditative, and relaxed. "Namaste" and a bow is all that is needed to acknowledge our practice - a round of applause is not.

Yelp
I have been going here with my roommates for a few months now. We have never had a bad instructor, the places is always very clean, and everyone is super friendly. I am not very good at yoga but never feel judged, there are people of all levels. The instructors are very helpful. My roommates and I have regular debates on who our favorite is! My only complaint is that they get very packed sometimes, not their fault and as someone who signs up late I have to admit I'm glad they dont turn people away until they are absolutely full. I only wish they had an early morning class, or maybe more weekend classes.

Yelp
Hotbox is a really wonderful studio. I have found all of the teachers to be warm, welcoming and very helpful. They make themselves available to the students to answer specific questions and show practitioners with injuries how to modify their practice in a way that they still get all of the benefits, but don't cause any further damage. They are all very in tune with their students breath, which makes for great breathing throughout the entire practice. I find an entire class breathing together to be pretty powerful. When you can expect exactly what you signed up for, a power vinyasa flow, but each teacher has their own presence and style, which keeps the classes fresh. All of the classes are a challenge, in a good way. The studio space itself is beautiful. I love the windows. They truly make it one of my favorite places to practice. There is something about seeing the sun shining through and the clouds passing by that makes me feel very peaceful, happy and grateful to have the opportunity to practice there. I would highly recommend the studio to students of all levels. It is great for beginners as the space the teachers create is not intimidating and it is also great for more advanced practitioners as all of the teachers are super knowledgable and experienced. I will be finishing up my teacher training at the studio in the next few weeks and I have to say it was by far one of the most transformative, challenging and fulfilling things I have done for myself. It has been a truly wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Hotbox and Lauren Foster to anyone thinking about becoming a yoga teacher.

Yelp
Extremely welcoming, especially for a first time drop in class. Check in was seamless, the studio is beautiful, and the class was friendly and challenging. Thanks for a great practice! Namaste

Yelp
Went here today for the first time. Very friendly and supportive leaders. Such radiant energy and they pass off their good vibes. In a great location as well. My only issue is that it is a little bit cramped. So if personal space is your thing, try to go for one of the less popular hours.

Yelp
Things I liked: -the 6:15 am class. I like to get my yoga done in the morning. Plus, this class is pay-as-you-wish. Great for doing yoga on the cheap (or free!) -the early class wasn't crowded - just 7 of us -parking was easy to find and is free until 9 (the class is over at 7:15, so this is perfect!) -the nice big window at the front of the studio. Lots of natural light. -friendly instructor, very welcoming to newbies -temperature of the class was great Things I didn't like: -I wanted to sign up for the 30 days for $30 (I like a deal!) but I was told that I couldn't use that deal to come to the 6:15 class -the floor where personal items are stored is seriously warped!!!!! I was uncomfortable even walking on it. -the inappropriate sounds of my fellow yogis (yes, more than 1). The sexualized moaning (while NOT the studio's fault) really took away from my experience -no music played during practice. This probably would have helped take my mind off my noisy neighbors -the location in Manayunk is somewhat of a hassle to get to since I live closer to Center City I'll probably be back, but it's not going to become my go-to studio.

Yelp
Love love love this place. Everyone is so friend. I think the part that made me love it the most; a couple weeks ago the class severely over books but they refused tongue anyone away! It was a super tight class but still amazing. Great work guys!

Yelp
I was in town for a couple days and my friends convinced me to go to yoga. I would rate my yoga ability as late-stage beginner, on my way to intermediate. I know a lot of the poses but still need some reminders and refreshers. I had no idea what I was getting myself into - I had never done hot yoga before, so the only thing I knew to expect was a hot stuffy room and lots of sweat. Lauren was a GREAT teacher for my first time. The class was challenging, but not much that I wasn't able to keep up and I didn't get lost. Two of my biggest fears when doing something new! Lauren had just gotten back from a trip to Italy for a yoga retreat and was both funny and inspiring when telling experiences from the trip and relating them to each of our lives. I've been practicing yoga for about two years, roughly once a week, and Lauren was able to correct my form on things that I had no idea I was even doing wrong. After being scared of hot yoga for years, I enjoyed the class so much that I went back the next morning. I'd love to visit again when I'm in town next!

Yelp
I have been a customer of Hotbox since it opened years ago, and the recent change of hands to a new owner has been nothing but fabulous for the vibe of the studio. The integrity of teachers has only changed for the better, and I continue to always leave hotbox drenched in sweat. I love the old school Baptiste style, and the new workshop and teacher pop-up offerings are awesome. Definitely check out hotbox if you want a kick-your-butt and bring you to your knees kind of yoga that leaves you feeling physically and mentally energized.

Yelp
Ok, I cheated and went to a Bikram HAWT yoga class. I prefer Hatha yoga, but I wanted to feel a good work out and boy do these classes do it to you. I always end up feeling sore like someone stretched me on all four corners of the room the next day. It is what it is - gym yoga. The place is very clean, wooden floors, warm-orange light ambience, IKEA white cubicles, smell of incense throughout the rooms. Very chic. The prices are very good. I went to a Community Classes which is taught by those who are in the process of earning their yoga certificate. So, it's hit or miss of what you are going to get out of these class. Some emphasize the importance of the breath during the asanas (poses) and some, I notice, do not. I went to one class and we started out in downward facing dog and then one leg up and then hip everted out. I kept thinking, 'What? This is too fast. We didn't get a big inhale and exhale and say 'Ohmmmm yet' until my heart was beating at 140bpm. These community classes are not for the beginners so you will need to know your asanas, because they go really fast one after the other. And, they will not correct your posture, so God-forbid if you ever overbridge and you came down on your neck it would be really unfortunate. Word to the wise, go at your pace and don't feel like you have to compete against other in these classes. Yoga is about your internal competition, getting to know your body and how it works. It is HAWT yoga, so bring a towel, a mat, and some water. I guess you suppose to be HAWT after this?

Yelp
I miss Hotbox Yoga so much, and am hard pressed to find an alternative nearby our new home! Such a great facility, with wonderful teachers, reasonable drop-in rates and good deals for multiple class options. The room was clean and smelled as such, which is pretty essential when it comes to bikram. The teachers have always been thorough and knowledgeable, with great bedside manner as far as helping you correct a pose without making you feel uncomfortable. A really excellent little studio for relaxing and working out, and a definite perk of living nearby!

Yelp
I like this place. I can't complain about anything. The staff is friendly and responsive, and they're welcoming to new guests.

Yelp
Hotbox made me all in love with hot yoga! Their staff is really friendly and the instructors are great! The classes are also at very convenient times. My only suggestion would be to incorporate more music and switch things up a bit. A lot of the classes are very similar. I also had a fill-in instructor for MJ and it was the first time I didn't love my class. overall this is a great gym

Melissa S.

Yelp
I've attended hotbox yoga classes for 7+ years at this point and have always loved it. I have to say that their community support and engagement during the covid-19 crisis is outstanding. They have free workouts available online when we need to move and see a familiar face. They have zoom workouts throughout the day that are fun, familiar, and encouraging. It's a breath of normalcy and kindness that we all need right now. Thank you to everyone!
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
Awesome place for hot yoga! I wouldn't consider myself an avid yogi (even though I would like to be!) but the classes they offer are fit for anyone. Every instructor I've had has been super attentive and calming. Definitely planning on purchasing a membership!
google avatar

Aly P.

Yelp
The place is really nice and obviously you will sweat. I think that is the best thing they have got going. The teachers do not seem concerned with proper alignment or technique. I took an all levels class and it was not all levels. It was definitely intermediate to advanced. The teacher was intimidating and definitely was pushing me when I didn't want to be pushed. It moved fast and then held intense poses for long durations. I would definitely not go in this without a really good sense of form and technique already in your practice. I think the teachers need to learn to encourage proper technique in this studio. That said, you will get a good workout and probably lose some water weight if that is what you are looking for. I went elsewhere.

Caitlin K.

Yelp
I have been practicing at Hotbox Yoga for six months now and cannot get enough! A yoga practice can feel overwhelming and intimidating at the beginning, but this studio helped to make the transition fun and easy. The decor is light, open and clean. The teachers are always willing to hang around to answer questions and explain poses if you ask. The owner is has a contagious excitment. Everything about beginning my practice at Hotbox was encouraging. Now that I have a more solid daily practice, I still love coming to Hotbox. The classes are challenging, leaving room for more experienced yogis to expand on a pose while keeping a safe base for those practicioners who are still mastering the basics. The teachers are excited and imaginative. I said it before and I'll say it again, I cannot get enough of this place. (I hear that their first class of yoga teacher trainees is about to graduate; can't wait to get a taste of the new HBY yoga teachers!)

Yelp
Had a fun class with Brad and Lindsay! They are really fun teachers and you will get a fun, hard yoga workout!

Yelp
Prior to Hotbox, my only experience that had the words 'hot' and 'yoga' was Bikram, which I tried in Chicago and NYC. Not to speak ill of Bikram (I always felt amazing afterwards) but I never looked forward to spending 90 minutes in 26 poses in a 105F room. The duration of the poses, hearing different instructors repeat the same exact script day after day and the fervor, zeal and intensity of some of the regular Bikram-class-goers was quite tiring. I wasn't sure what to expect with non-Bikram hot yoga at Hotbox. But I was pleasantly surprised. The classes are 60 minutes (not 90) and the room is 90F (not 105F). The classes vary from day to day and instructor to instructor. They move pretty fast between the poses, work up an amazing sweat and several warriors, chairs and downward and upward dogs later it's already time for shavasana. The instructors are friendly and helpful and the room itself is bright and sunny. Great studio, will be back!

Yelp
I've been going to Hotbox since I moved to Manayunk 2 years ago. It's a wonderful studio with genuine staff members! I'll admit, at first it took me a while to get the swing of things. Prior to living in the area I practiced somewhere else. The flow was a bit different. If you're new to the studio please stay open minded. You will master it in no time and learn to love every aspect of the practice they teach. If you have questions about a position don't hesitate to ask after class. They will stay with you after and show you. The prices are reasonable compared to my past studios. If you want to work a shift (signing people in and out) you can become and Energy Exchanger and take that class for free. I do it twice a week and love it. It's a nice way to get involved even more with the community there.

Yelp
Just was in a class where Brad and Lindsey taught at a Live, Love, Teach event in Dallas Texas! Loved their passion, energy and fun style of teaching! Next time I am in Phili I will definitely stop by the Hot Box Yoga Studio for a powerful vinyasa class!

Yelp
So, I actually hate yoga. I get bored very easily and it's just not my thing. But, hot box is great! I bought the 30 days for $30 special after I ran a marathon. Went a few times and thought the classes were a great workout. And less boring than I had remembered yoga to be. I'd certainly refer any yoga studio seeking friends here.

Yelp
Just attended a class, taught by Susan Cosgrove this balmy evening. This was actually my second experience with HBY. My first experience, almost a year ago, the instructor seemed more accustomed to teaching master yogis instead of a newb like myself. I had a good time but wasn't really excited to go back again. So I didn't, until now. Tonight was great! Susan didn't give any of us newbs special treatment and slow down the rest of the class (trust me, it was challenging). But unlike my previous instructor she was able to give subtle modifications to help the less than skilled yogi wannabes get more out of the experience. I'm definitely going to go back. Plus with a deal like 30 days for only 30 doll hairs who wouldn't!? It pays for itself only after two classes! Hope to see other novices there and we can find out inner yogis together! :) Namaste

Naudia C.

Yelp
I've been practicing yoga and pilates for over 8 years now and I can give a very honest review. This studio is more of a yoga sweat shop factory. I get the feeling that it is more about pack 'em in (there are spots taped off on the floor so you have - no kidding - two to three inches space between you and your neighbor... a claustrophobia nightmare) than getting in touch with your spiritual side through a safe yoga practice. All of the classes I have attended (5 total now, some when it opened, some a year later) are for ADVANCED yogis. If you are a beginner, you would have no clue what to do and risk injuring yourself (which is probably why you sign a waiver when you go to your first class). Plus there is no space for an instructor to properly demonstrate anyway. So there are always a lot of confused people looking around at each other to see if someone figured it out yet (also very unsafe to crane your neck depending on what position you are in). I also get a sense of a sort of "cliquey" atmosphere here where the regulars get more attention than newbies or less experienced people. People are friendly enough but it seems to just be being polite. Other yoga studios in the area are much more inclusive. The pros are that if you already know what you are doing you just flow along and try not to smack your neighbor in the face while doing sun salutations (which defeats the purpose of the pose... to lengthen). You will get a good workout and feel a buzz afterward. Best for Type A personalities as the instructors will push you to compete (not stop at your "edge"). Yoga is not a competition! Others should just take things at their own pace. Not a lot of focus on proper breathing through the poses either as it goes too fast. And last but not least, try to come earlier in the day or it will smell like feet and sweat! I plan on trying the community class because there are supposed to be less people there and I really don't enjoy someone's feet in my face either. Plus the price is cheaper. I'll keep them in my yoga rotation but not my primary practice.

Yelp
Hotbox yoga was the first studio I ever practiced in. I was very nervous taking a public yoga class because I usually practice at home. Despite the heat, everyone here was super chill. the check in was easy and the class was amazing. You get so into your own breath and movement, you forget the room is packed. I love this place and I recommend it to anyone who is interested in practicing.

Yelp
I love Hotbox! Such a great ambiance. I drive out to Manayunk from CC for classes with Brad Young. He is funny, knowledgeable and just a gem. I have heard they are going to be opening a spot in West Philly! Love this place. They have got it right.

Yelp
This studio has me hooked on hot yoga and baptiste yoga! I have loved all of the instructors and how sometimes there is someone who assists you through the poses. It's an incredibly nurturing and welcoming environment and the room has a wonderful light and space to it.

Yelp
I have gone to a few other yoga studios and by far I like the atmosphere here the best. I've been to other places where the instructor is pulling on your legs and arms and it's not very comfortable. I also appreciate the staff and how friendly and comforting they are. Def worth a session or two when your super stressed.

Yelp
Huge fan. Clean, challenging and welcoming. I've been doing yoga for years, have been to countless places. HBY is my favorite. I go ~5 days a week. Only suggestion, consider early am classes. 6 or 7a.. Difficult to find in this part of the city

Yelp
I love hotbox. The instructors are so attentive, and when you start out you receive unlimited classes for two weeks for $20. It's a great deal to determine whether or not you actually like taking hot yoga classes. I loved the classes instantly and have been a member for several years since.

Yelp
The moment I heard a yoga studio was opening on Main Street, I was so excited, I had to learn more. Vinyasa Flow is the type of yoga I have been practicing for 2 years now so this was a perfect fit! I was incredibly impressed with the size of the studio itself; its clean, open, inviting and best of all convenient!! I am all about convenience after a long commute to and from work each day. You can be guaranteed that when you walk in after a stressful day, you will walk out feeling refreshed, happy and in a better place...and that is exactly what yoga should do for you! The instructors are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I would definintely recommend to check this place out, get on a good sweat and release those toxins!
