From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. We were warmly welcomed and pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which set the tone for a wonderful stay. ||The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Paris, making it easy to explore the city while still feeling tucked away from the hustle and bustle. ||When we arrived at the hotel early in the morning, we were delighted to find that our room was already prepared and ready for us, a thoughtful gesture that made all the difference after our early flight. Later that day, after returning from a long and tiring walk around Paris, we were pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary bottle of wine along with some delicious treats waiting for us in the room. This thoughtful touch was deeply appreciated and made us feel truly cared for after a busy day of exploring the city.||The interior design is elegant and thoughtfully done, creating a refined yet comfortable atmosphere. Our room was spacious for central Paris, and had everything we needed to feel completely at home. ||The hospitality and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable, and we are already looking forward to returning.

If you are looking for an old school Parisian experience, this hotel is for you. The decor, while not stale, is old world Paris. It has Romeo and Juliet balconies with flower boxes and just has that feel that you are in Paris. ||The rooms are very small. We had two connecting rooms for 4 people and were glad that we were only staying one night, as it was a tight squeeze. The location is great for going to the Louvre. The rooms were clean and had nice touches like travel books produced by the hotel group. One weird thing to note is both of the rooms had windows where you could see from the room into the bathroom, with only a sliding see-through shade to obstruct the view from the room into the bathroom. Third time we've seen this in a hotel and still don't understand the thinking behind a design like this.||Breakfast is served in a small room and the offerings were a disappointment, although the waiter was as nice as can be and eager to please. They offered some pastries and candies in this room all day.||All in all, the location was perfect for what we needed and the hotel is pleasant and probably appealing to many who are looking for that old Parisian vibe. While it is a nice hotel with good service and we were glad for the night in a vibe like this, we stayed in Paris a few days later for several days in a more modern hotel with much larger rooms and decided that was more our speed.

The location is obviously incredible for walking to nearby attractions. The staff is also very welcoming and helpful. Even holding onto my bags for a few hours after checkout so I could finish my exploring and eat lunch before leaving. The rooms do have AC and it mostly worked but I found everywhere I went that the expectation for how AC works in Europe is just different. The rooms are tight but very nice and does make you feel like you are staying in an authentic building with modern amenities. The breakfast is convenient and the price consistent with what you'd pay if you went to a touristy cafe and ordered similar food. So you just have to decide what your schedule dictates for you. I would absolutely stay again. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

Eight years ago, my husband and I fell in love with La Tamise. Except for Covid, we have been staying there every year, sometimes bringing friends along with us. ||This year, we brought our children, their spouses, and our seven year old grandson. And we are so delighted that they also love La Tamise.||At first, what is most impressive is the incredible central location.||However, what makes this hotel our home away from home, is the loyal staff that work there. They are so warm, welcoming, and go out of their way to insure that all their guests are well taken care of.||I have recommended this hotel to so many people, that I was asked if I receive a commission, And I do not…..I just want to share this hidden gem with others.||So, a special shout out to Saleh, Antonio, Kevin, Sid, Malik, Sukanta and Camille. They are the epitome of customer service. And I’d like to welcome the brand new hotel manager, Mandarin. ||We hope to see all of you next year.

We loved this hotel for our trip! It is within walking distance to all of the popular sites travelers aim to see while they're in Paris as well as many shops, restaurants, bars, etc. There is also a Metro station right outside the hotel if you plan to go a further distance. The staff were extremely kind, and helpful, throughout our stay and provided great recommendations on things to do and places to see! The room was well kept throughout our time there and had everything we needed. I would totally recommend this hotel for your trip to Paris!

Free breakfast included with nice selection of hot and cold items.|4. Friendly helpful staff.||Negatives -|1. Smaller size room.|2. Power to room went out one morning we were there. Had to get ready in the dark.||Overall good location along with breakfast and nice staff make this a good option.

It was our first trip to Paris and Hotel La Tamise was the best choice we could have made. Kevin, Camille and Saleh made the experience an even better one. They were all so helpful, friendly and accommodating - nothing was too much to ask. Our location was perfect for everything we wanted to accomplish. I will always stay here if we ever get the chance to go back.

Yelp
Sorry, I failed to finish my review about Hôtel La Tamise in the 1st Arrondissmont. I truly not only miss Paris, but this incredible boutique hotel situated in one of the best locations. I had the hotel send a private car to pick me up from Orly. The ride was about 40 minutes as we were stuck in traffic. The driver was a great guy and kept in communications with me until we met up. Arrived at La Tamise. It was beautiful. The building front along the side street...I had chosen well. Prince greeted me and gave me my room key. Room 10...it was fantastic! Clean. Gigantic. Big shower with handheld shower heads. Big comfy bed (sans bedbugs...never saw one, thank God). My room windows were typical Parisienne. So hard for me not to keep them both open. The room was better appointed than some 5-stars. They have top-end tea (Rooibos) in the room. It is delicious, (but maybe be careful to not over do it with this tea if you are an estrogen-sensitive breast cancer survivor...look it up), the best hot cocoa packs I ever had (sorry, I was steps from Angelina's and this cocoa was way better), all the bottled water (Evian) I could drink, and top end bathroom products, (although careful if you too have nut allergies as the lotion had a nut oil). I'm telling you... when I return, my friends here have to have a room for me! It's the best!! Saleh in the breakfast room was "my new best friend." So kind, and so attentive. The hotel can't afford to lose him. His impeccable service and customer interactions were amazing. Seriously.... give this man a pay raise! (Thank you, best friend.) The breakfast was perfect. Petite dejeuner at its best!! Try the chocolate muffins. Thank God I was walking 20,000 steps a day... work off those chocolate treats!! I was so sad when I left my hotel. I switched my arrondissment to 5. I had pre-planned that to happen, but wished I had stayed longer at Hôtel La Tamise. (Although, if on a longer vacay, I strongly recommend changing areas.) Only complaint...clean the shower head in Rm 10. Thank you Hôtel La Tamise for being a huge part of the reason my trip was so incredible!!

Yelp
Hotel la Tamise is a bit of a hidden gem. On a quiet side street next to Tuileries Garden, it's easy to walk right by if you aren't paying attention, but the location could not be nicer! It's in the center of everything, a couple of minutes from the Louvre, the Seine, rue Saint-Honore, and tons of restaurants and stores. It's far more affordable than other hotels I've stayed in Paris, and although it's small without a ton of amenities, I'd rather be paying for the location than anything else. My room (facing the street) was mostly quiet aside from some usual street noise (nothing major). It was also very reasonably sized and comfortable. The bathroom was especially nice, with a rain shower and good water pressure. The staff was kind, offering to hold my luggage and letting me know my room would be ready early in the day (which was great after my red-eye flight from the US). I would definitely stay at this hotel again. I had nothing to complain about!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I are in Paris currently staying at The Renaissance Hotel 1 block away from Hotel la Tamise. We decided we wanted a quieter vibe and wondered I to this hotel for a drink. We were greeted by Lakhdar who couldn't have been greater. He was managing guest while simultaneously trying to make us drinks. He was beyond helpful and kind to us even under pressure! We were so impressed that we have decided to stay at this hotel the next time we are in Paris! What a great first impression!

Yelp
Great location! I was able to walk to the Leuve and near all the Shoppes. Across from a few cafe's as well. All the employees were very helpful and even recommended some traveling tips and let me print our boarding passes for our next flight out of Paris. Concierge upgraded us to a larger room complimentary. We arrived a couple hours before checkin and they didn't even hesitate to accommodate us. Rooms were very nice and clean. There were plenty of complimentary toiletries such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, q-tips, shower caps and even manicure tools. Highly recommend for the price and location, you couldn't get better.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in October. We loved everything about this hotel. The location, charm, friendliness of the staff, and attention to detail in the room. This was our first time in Paris and I spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect place, and it sure paid off.! We can't wait to come back for our second stay at Hotel la Tamise.

Yelp
Little gem in the heart of it all in Paris. Located on a side street, it's amazing how much quieter it feels even with busy Rue de Rivoli right around the corner. All of the reviews were spot on - the staff is a joy and go out for their way to help you. We booked our trip very last minute and the larger size rooms were unavailable (there are only 19 rooms in the whole place). As we were staying for 7 days, we asked if anything larger had come open. They ended up calling their sister hotel, the Brighton, which is just around the corner. The staff at La Tamise took us over personally, showed us other rooms, and then brought everything of ours over from La Tamise when we decided to change rooms. All of this was unprompted (we would have 100% moved our bags ourselves as we already felt we were inconveniencing them). They even brought my mom's suitcase over the next day once it arrived from Air France (had gotten misplaced by the airline on the trip from the US) and put it in our room while we were out. Hard to believe such great service still exists in this world!! Definitely 5 stars in my book just for the quaint, lovely ambiance and the fantastic staff.

Yelp
Let's talk expectations. Wonderful small hotel with a staff that goes the extra mile or kilometer depending on your thinking. AND YES there was a minor one, the manager of the hotel, listened and apollogized for the mistake. Then he offered a solution that was very acceptable very thing I would ask for in a hotel was meet, we have traveled through Italy, Ireland, Australia as well as many the nicest 5 star resorts in the US.

Yelp
This place is amazing. The moment you walk in, the staff is super friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they upgraded us for free to a better room. We were welcomed with complimentary campaign and fruits as well when we got into our room. The best part is their breakfast, although a little pricey, it's well worth it. We ate there two consecutive days because it was so good. At the end of our trip in Paris, this hotel was definitely worth the money, and I'd recommend it to anyone who plans on visiting.

Yelp
Just fabulous. I don't have words sufficient to describe how wonderful an experience I had and how I was treated like royalty. Won't hesitate to visit again if in Paris! A must stay!

Yelp
Small but perfectly formed.... This 16-room hotel situated between Rue de Rivoli and Rue Saint-Honore in Paris' old 1er arrondissement is a delight. Clean and simple, it scores highly over its modern counterparts by retaining a significant amount of old-Paris charm, not least of which is the teeny, charming, bookcase-sized elevator that runs between the hotels' 4 floors. We stayed here for 2 nights and the various reception and room staff were all extremely friendly and very helpful. If you're looking for a cosy little pied-a-terre while you check out the classic areas of Paris, and cannot be bothered with the self-important swagger of the Rive Gauche crew, then this hotel is a great spot to put down some roots for a weekend.

Yelp
Great location - close to upscale shops, the Louvre, the Tulleries, and plenty of places to eat. Comfortable beds and pleasant decor. Occasional street noise. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Awesome location, super-friendly staff, and great rooms/facilities. Special shoutout to Pierre, the best bellhop on that side of the Atlantic

Yelp
Great hotel. Small rooms with little space but the very nicely decorated and the staff are extremely helpful. Trust me if this is your first trip to Paris good customer service is RARE to find. Good food in the hotel as well. Great location right off Rue Rivoli, walking distance to almost everything.

Yelp
2 stars because in a very good location. they don't have to provide breakfast so that's nice, but breakfast is not good, you would only go once to try it. price they say on confirmation will be a little different from what they will charge- of course always to their advantage. internet not a very expensive option to add, but does not work well.
