Hotel was updated and very clean. Our room 222 was a king bed nice and spacious. Did have an issue with the bed. The left side of the bed had a low spot in it, which made it some what uncomfortable for me, But my wife slept on the otheride and said it was great! Also the hot water wasn't as hot as we normally like it, but it wasn't a big deal. Great location! Chandlers restaurant was fantastic room service available to the hotel. The staff were all very kind and helpful at all times. Definitely would stay there again!

Google
This is a fantastic hotel wedged into an excellent downtown location. It shares a building and doors with Chandler's Steakhouse, so, you already know the kind of service and attention to detail will be top tier. Our valet was prompt and friendly for both drop off and pick up. It's an absolute bargain at $20 (as of 03/2025) and it relieved the the concerns of finding a nearby spot on our own. We were checked in by Mackenzie. She was very helpful when it came to questions I had about getting to the restaurant we had reservations at that evening. The room was incredible. Very spacious and clean; with a very sleek and modern look to the furniture and hardware in the room. Our bed was clean and very comfortable. I was able to easily nap while my wife got ready for dinner and I didn't have any issues with getting settled. We visited during Treefort so the whole downtown area was abuzz. Despite the extra traffic, the hotel was quiet and all the guests we encountered were pleasant. I would defy anyone to say they had a bad experience here. P.S. - A noon check-out!! On a weekend, no less. It was nice to be up late and not have to stress about sleeping too late and potentially being charged for checking out late.

Google
Decent rooms. However during their remodel they removed their lobby cafe so no options for breakfast or quick bite for lunch. The other issue is half the rooms face a major building going up across the street and they start making serious noise very early. Staff is friendly enough but not real interested in receiving comments. Oh and the cleaning staff smelled like cigarettes and left my room smelling like smoke.

Google
We enjoyed our visit. A 5 star visit would easily be achieved if there was a fitness center and if there was a bit more thought put into the breakfast options. Coffee and packaged muffins are something, but for a hotel of the caliber of this place it is a bit underwhelming. The door/valet guys were awesome. Always there with a friendly smile and warm greeting. And the downtown central location was the best. Once the building next door is completed it will be even better. Two things I would change in the rooms. When the AC comes on the fan noise is incredibly loud. If you are watching TV you are constantly changing the volume as the unit cycles on and off. Secondly the open shower with no door looks great, but we would have enjoyed the door to help keep the water contained to the shower area.

Google
Positive: I love how vouchers are given to customers for entering and exiting the garage. That was an excellent surprise because it wasn't an extra fee to worry about but feels included in the price of your room. Negative: ""

Google
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From start to finish, our experience at Hotel 43 was absolutely wonderful! The online check-in process was seamless, and we loved the option to add packages to our stay—perfect for a late checkout or having wine waiting in the room upon arrival. Checking in at the front desk was a breeze since everything was already handled online, and the valet team was friendly and took great care of our vehicle. The room was beautifully elevated, had everything we needed, and the views were fantastic. A special shoutout to the shower—it actually had great water pressure and was tall-person friendly! And, of course, the restaurant downstairs is hands down the best in Boise. Being able to enjoy an incredible meal without even leaving the property made our stay even better. Highly recommend Hotel 43 for a top-notch stay in Boise!

Google
This is a very nice upgrade motel in the downtown part of Boise. The check in was very nice and the stall were always very professional and told us what was in the area as their location is on the edge of downtown. The breakfast was a bit needing a bit more for an upgrade hotel line this one. All in all a very nice place to get a good nights sleep.😴

Google
Great location allot going on within walking distance since TreeFort had taken over the city. Room was fine bathroom and shower was kinda funky. Only a half door on the shower, made for a slippery floor. Had a switch for a fan but no fan. Beside the bathroom nice stay and great location

Jeanette C.

Yelp
Great location near city centre, spent the weekend and went to a Hockey game. Covered parking nice and all employees were very helpful. We had a newly renovated room and the manager Alexa made our stay extra special! Oh and chandlers smells amazing!

Greta R.

Yelp
Awful!!! I rented this for three nights and the entire hotel is under construction. I don't mind the lobby construction that's easy to walk around. HOWEVER I am on the 3rd floor and the 4th floor is also being completed remodeled. I am awakened every morning EARLY to drills and loud construction. There was zero mention of this when I reserved a room. The rooms were also not cheap. Oh .... and a fire alarm was set off at 5:30am because of some construction and we all had to stand outside in 38 degrees. No acknowledgement of any kind - I mean how about a voucher for some free coffee or something. I don't need a free night but offer something as an apology for the inconvenience.

Yelp
Stayed here for a 3 day 2 night stay over Labor Day weekend with my husband, in a single king bed room. Cost was $580 to book, however we booked with 47,000 Chase points through the Chase portal. Pros: - They usually offer a free airport shuttle, but because it wasn't running, they actually reimbursed the cost of the uber we took from the airport to the hotel! - GREAT location: we didn't come with a rental car and didn't need one - it was walking distance or to a bunch of food places and bars, including Pie Hole, Yoi Tomo AYCE sushi, Western Proper, Boise Fry company, the art museum, the Basque street, you name it. Pretty much prime downtown location close to everything, and only like a less than 15 min ride to the airport - Ask for free tickets to the Boise Art Museum! $6 value each haha - GREAT sun-blocking curtains if you want to sleep in - Amazing selection of TV channels - Pretty comfortable bed - The shower had the best water pressure I've experienced at a hotel so far - We didn't utilize this benefit but they have complimentary bikes to borrow - All the staff were very professional. Cons: - Thankfully I didn't pay the full price for this hotel - but based on the amenities, it feels like it should have been in the $400 range for a 2 night stay, not $500. I definitely would not have stayed here if I had to pay the full $580. - NO complimentary breakfast options, not even like a grab and go donut kind of thing. There is a convenient cafe downstairs but you do have to pay. - Our fridge seemed like it didn't have a good seal, and wasn't keeping our takeout leftovers very cold. - No microwave in room, kind of inconvenient if you want to heat up leftovers. - Kind of markets itself as a one of a kind luxury boutique hotel, but I would say it was more average and just gets the job done (not a bad thing, but a little on the pricier side). Overall, 10/10 would stay here again if booked with points and didn't have a rental car. It does give you the convenience of being close to literally everything if you're a fan of walking. Things that could make it better would be breakfast, better room amenities. Overall a solid 4 stars.

Yelp
This hotel was the worst . It's under construction, tv didn't work, got upgraded to " suite" and tv still didn't work. Three times had to go back to front desk as the key card did not work. Mattress in "suite" felt like it was at least 20 years old, felt the springs on my back. Worst sleep ever in my 2 years of business travel. ThankGod they are updating as decor is atrocious . Staff friendly enough but I will never stay here again!!

Troy D.

Yelp
This place is far too loud to get any rest. The desk staff at night were eerie sketchy in a weird way. I suspect they serve as a no tell motel more than anything. Which I totally get, but it's not our idea of a relaxing environment. Several of the guests on our floor didn't seem to want to be seen based on their body language and evasive behavior. Room was clean, it was just too loud and close to the check in parking and the road. It's also too close to Chandler's where I avoid with a passion. Live and learn.

Nat W.

Yelp
Nothing special about this hotel....pretty outdated. Rooms are not big considering it is in Boise. The wall is super thin so you will hear noises.

Cindy R.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed two nights at Hotel 43. It was a great boutique hotel. We had an oversized room with a view of the capital and we're within walking distance to downtown shopping, restaurants, and Freak Alley. We also ate dinner at Chandlers, which was delicious!

Sheila B.

Yelp
The hotel itself is pleasant well staffed BUT housekeeping needs improvement and gym is so small AC not working (100 degrees in July). Housekeeping forgot to replenish k-cup and cups. Linen was not changed even when requested. Gym AC was out of order and my request for repair went unanswered.

Rodrigo T.

Yelp
Wondering why they call it 43. This cute boutique hotel is pretty much in the heart of downtown. Easy to get to places. Plenty of restaurant and bars. I heard the bar in the hotel is actually a classy club too. The lobby is super nice. Layout is very balanced. Couches and tables and cool pendulum chandeliers. Elevators are right there by the lobby as well, so you dont have to go through a maze to look for it. The rooms are pretty good. The one I got wasnt the biggest, bit it was enough. Its complete with lights, night stands even a sit down chair is you're feeling like doing some reading. A TV on top of a dresser. Cool feature on the window is that you're able to open a vent so you can let some fresh boise air in. I love the stuffed bear toy on the bed. Gives it a really cute touch. If you wanna take it home, it's around $35. My stay here was definitely enjoyable. I would come back and stay here again. Thank you much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!

Yelp
I didn't know they don't clean the room unless you ask for it to be cleaned. Is that normal now?? So on my way out the door on my third day I asked for service. When I came back that evening, the door to the room was open ... the maid had left it propped open with the safety latch. It had been that way all day, with my suitcase, clothes and computer inside. I told the manager I thought it would be fair for that night to be comped as compensation. The manager said that since nothing was taken and it was an innocent mistake on the part of the maid, there would be no compensation. I think a hotel, especially one that markets itself as "luxury boutique," owes the guest safety and cleanliness at the very least in return for their nightly fee. The fact that nothing was taken certainly wasn't due to the precautions taken by the hotel, since no one caught the mistake all day. The icing on the cake: the sink in the tiniest bathroom known to mankind hadn't been cleaned -- it still had hair in it. When family comes to town, I'll be recommending The Grove.

William N.

Yelp
Got here after traveling allllll day, Andrea was working front desk, she was soooo nice and helpful! Andrea is my new favorite front desk person, this hotel is lucky to have her!

Lisa S.

Yelp
Small lobby, awkward valet/pickup drop off area... not the impressed with the room myself... but my out of town guest loved his large windows & second story views. Convenient Boise location... would be good for JUMP events...

Lindsey R.

Yelp
disappointed in this hotel. came for a "stay-cation" with my hubby and when I booked this place I thought we were picking something special. it is a boutique hotel above the nicest restaurant in town (chandlers) so obviously it's going to be nice, right? um no. it's small, and you can tell it used to be yuck before they slapped some new paint on it and called it luxury. the staff were not friendly when we arrived (accept for the bell hop, he was friendly.) and they barely even looked up when we checked in. let me just say, if they try to give you room 208, 209, or 210- do not accept. we arrived in our TINY room (this is a king room?) to the lovely view of the AC units which are covered in weird paint and moss. i'm sure the hotel was not completely booked up (this is covid times) so these rooms should be a last resort situation for putting guests in when they are full. we booked this room A MONTH AGO. i'm not looking for the best room, but this was just weird to me. overall, our stay was disappointing. we should have just booked the grove. I think if you're traveling for work from the airport and want a centrally located place downtown with a good restaurant downstairs, this is the place for you. don't come here for romance.

Alexia M.

Yelp
Was here for a quick work trip and the staff was friendly and very helpful. After flying back home, I realized I had accidentally thrown away important paperwork in my hotel room. I called the front desk and they were able to retrieve it and mailed it out to me. I am SO grateful!! Thank you!!

James D.

Yelp
Hotel 43 was top on our list for places to stay in Boise. It's location was the number one selling point. Located in downtown Boise, in the hub of shops, the capital building, college and yes the restaurants and beer flowed like...beer and restaurants do. They have a five star restaurant, Chandler's, on the main floor of the hotel. Best bed of the week, spacious room for her to get her grove on and bike from the room to the mountains for me. Almost didn't want to leave...but the road calls;) SPECIAL PERK was the covered parking.

howard b.

Yelp
We had a great stay at the hotel. Very nice staff, great room, 616 is the biggest room so highly recommend it. Great restaurant downstairs, Chandlers. Recommend that as well. Easy peasy parking and everything. Looking forward to the next stay

Brooklyn M.

Yelp
Booked a room for one night, paid almost $500 for no bathtub or balcony, underwhelming decor, no swimming pool, not even a complimentary breakfast. We were denied a refund or upgrade. Should've come with free dinner from Chandler's for such a high price- take your business elsewhere, folks!

Amber S.

Yelp
It was a beautiful hotel but for being a 4-5 star hotel everything should be clean. The comforter was dirty and the door frame in the bathroom had a boogie and the toilet had a pubic hair. Called the front desk and since they were sold out they were going to have housekeeping come and fix the issues. Never happened!

S M.

Yelp
We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The property is located close to downtown shopping and restaurants! Staff was super courteous and cheerful. Checking in/out was a breeze! Parking was 15.00 per day, either valet or self parking in the structure. We chose to utilize the parking structure, which is directly next door with access into the hotel lobby. I did notice on Yelp, the hotel indicates free perks such as valet parking? I didn't see this until after our trip. The 4 stars was due to a couple issues with our room on our first night. There was a problem with the toilet and the HVAC system which was extremely noisy all night! I reported the issue to the hotel staff the next morning. The staff was very responsive and apologetic, we were immediately moved to a different room.

Michele B.

Yelp
Not a good experience for our stay-cation. Finding the last guest's leftover Mexican food in the refrigerator didn't give me the feeling that the room had been thoroughly cleaned. The night receptionist couldn't find my keys at 4am when I had to leave, nor did she know where it was parked. She told me to walk into the parking garage. Made it up to the 4th floor of the garage, but no car. Called her back. She thought it might be in a lot "across the street", but couldn't tell me which street she was referring to. Called her again from the KIN lot across from the front door, so she met me outside. Suggested I try another lot around the block to the west. To say that I irritated with this 4am tour would be an epic understatement. For one night at $472, I think it's reasonable to expect cleanliness and better service.

Nicole F.

Yelp
Adorable!! Chocolates on the night stand and a teddy bear on the bed, this place is quiet, clean and just enough!!! Plenty of restaurants well Within walking distance and river trails to boot.

Megan W.

Yelp
Paid almost $400 for one night stay. The front desk staff on arrival wasn't very friendly. The valet driver and the staff that assisted us with the complementary bikes were very nice. Unfortunately, for the price of the room, I was a bit disappointed. Our room looked out over a parking lot. Biggest perks of the stay were the complementary bikes and two free bottles of water. Room was clean; however, mediocre. Location is great.

Cheyenne S.

Yelp
On a last minute trip to Boise, on a birthday weekend, the Hotel 43 Staff made us feel extra special. My boyfriend and I went to Boise to visit family, and last minute ended up booking a Suite at Hotel 43. Regina, with housekeeping offered to help decorate it, but I didn't have time to arrange it. Still, when we got there, there was a robe and slippers to welcome us. Katie during the day, happily assisted us when we needed food recommendations for dinner. Then later that evening I still hadn't found a postcard I needed at nearby stores, when we got back to the hotel, Peter and David (I believe were their names), at the front desk and security, checked their items in the back and found me a Postcard to send out, along with some mints, pens, and a letter opener. Everyone was very friendly, so we felt very welcome. The balcony for our suite was a nice addition, the room was clean and in our room, the air was filtered "Pure Wellness". It was all so refreshing, especially in the middle of summer. I just wish we'd stayed one more night and had the chance to use the bikes they had available for a ride around Downtown Boise. It was in such a great location. We'll definitely stay here on our next trip back.

Therese S.

Yelp
This place was OK nothing special but I'm a little irritated that I stayed one night and they charge me for two nights of valet parking. If you think about it if they did that to 40 people every night 30 days out of the month they can make a lot of extra money

Luanne A.

Yelp
Wow. What a disappointment. It started before we even got there. We reserved a reservation 3 days prior to arrival and chose this hotel because it claimed to be "pet friendly". In the form we filled out, it asks what type of pet/breed. I noted 2 cats. On the day of our arrival, they call us and say that cats aren't welcome. Ok. We made other arrangements and didn't bring them. I mentioned to the gal that they should be more specific about the pet friendly claim because it's misleading. Apparently they don't like doing room cleaning service if you have an extended stay "due to covid" unless you specifically ask for it. No one at the front desk bothered to mention it. Apparently there was a note in our pile of papers so it was our mistake not to know. So the following day we remembered to ask for room service and we got it. Whoever did the cleaning seemed hurried and almost angry. The bed was made, but they left bed pillows on the floor in two places. And our towel rack was restocked with 2 more bath towels but they left the rack sloppy just like the pillows on the floor. Pics included. There is also " free breakfast" with your stay. Keep in mind that it's a granola bar, yogurt and an apple. They have have drop coffee downstairs but when we asked for some (mid morning) they said they NEEDED TO MAKE MORE! They crew only makes new coffee after they run out and someone asks! I shocked that the quality and lack of professionalism of service here. Details matter and apparently this management has no idea. The location is nice which is why we chose it but thank goodness there are other options for next time.

Gary L.

Yelp
From the van driver to the front desk staff to the rooms, everything was professionally executed. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The bears in the room add a cute touch to weary road warriors, I even bought one!! The bar is classy along with the restaurant. For those complaining about the price, I think the lights are on at Motel 6 for your penny pinching wallet.

Edwin D.

Yelp
We had an amazing stay at Hotel 43. They had an airport shuttle to and from the airport which is amazing. The room was clean and well stocked. Bath robes were a plus. The location was right in the heart of Boise. They also had bikes you use use to ride around town. We will definitely try to come back soon.

Rosie S.

Yelp
I stayed here 1/14 to 1/16, on the 6th floor. The room was great, clean, very comfortable, great views, staff was friendly and inviting, we arrived late about midnight and no issues with checking in. AC & heating worked great, and that is important to us. It is a great location for night life entertainment or just staying in. I highly recommend.

Mike L.

Yelp
Very nice receptionists. They are very attentive, polite and respectful. The rooms are very clean, big TV, fridge. The rooms are a little small, first of all the bathroom area (sink and toilet/shower are separated). The rooms could use a little update. But I'll be back for sure. It's nice here.

Lisa G.

Yelp
This hotel may have been great at one time, but NO LONGER. The service was terrible. First day, didn't clean our room. Told us we had to ask for the maid service. Did not tell us this at check in... Second day, no maid service. First maid said she thought the other maid cleaned the room. Manager said the maid cleaned the room across the hall by mistake. Third day, maid finally cleaned the room. Forgot the shower.... Had to ask for more shampoo and soap. Needed WiFi password. It's on the folder with the key entry card. Didn't tell us that at check in. The room itself has seen better days. Furniture was worn and not up to snuff considering the price. Two stars for the location. 0 stars for staff excuses and attitude.

Jaymi H.

Yelp
We were celebrating our anniversary and used a gift certificate we bought at an auction for a one night stay. Check in went smoothly. Front desk personnel friendly. The room was a boutique room and overall clean until you looked out the windows to a very unappealing view. Toilet looks as if it hasn't been scrubbed in a long time.

Joy D.

Yelp
Just checked into Hotel 43 today. Great experience so far. I love the little details of this hotel- from the easy check in process, welcoming Bear on my bed to the special makeup remover washcloth.. Those details set the right first impression! The beds are so comfortable and I love all the premium channels available on the TV. Kudos for making my 2nd visit to Boise a great one. I will always book my hotel reservations here from now on.

Kevin S.

Yelp
Avoid this hotel. Please note that I actually wrote the manager and gave my email and phone number over a week ago. I even told them if they don't at least call me to discuss this horrific 3 night stay that I would share this pathetic experience via social media. So here we are. We booked the biggest suite on Hotel 43 web site for 4 days. It says the suite sleeps three. Upon arrival we were informed that's a mistake that they should really change. So...three adults one bed. We were told to take an additional room. I said sure but you pay for it because this is your false advertisement that caused the problem. Now all of a sudden they get an idea. Their sister hotel across town has air mattresses. So 45 min later (its 10:30pm) a air mattress arrives. No sheets or pillows. We ask for a bed sheet set and 2 pillows. They bring a single sheet. Nothing else. Now its 11pm. Call again and ask for a full set of sheets and a pillow. Sheets arrive...no pillow. Its odd....the sheets are actually wet. They smell terribly. Call back to the front desk. Finally a full set of dry sheets and a pillow (mind you no pillow case). We blow up the mattress and go to sleep, its midnight. At 1am I awake to a flat mattress and I'm sleeping on the floor. I call the front desk. They laugh. Said they cant get another mattress I can pay for another room. I sleep on the floor because the couch is nice but to tiny to sleep on. Next morning I explain to the new person at the front desk my dilemma. They apologize for the "web site lying that it sleeps 3, I tell my boss to change it all the time". I explain we have 2 more nights here...they said they would see what they can do. Nothing was done. I slept on the floor and sitting upright on the couch for 2 more nights. What they did do is cancel our electronic keys a few times and laugh when we had to come to the desk to get new ones. This had now become just rude beyond belief. Upon check out our Bill for room alone was over $1000 for three nights (which was the agreed to price for a suite that sleeps 3). So...I waited for the email to come to ask about our stay. I shared this and gave all my contact info. The point is....sometimes things happen. Sometimes the staff is having a rough time. But never is it okay if a manager is reading their feedback and they learn of such a bad stay in your best room and they dont even bother to contact the person who had 4 days from hell in their establishment. SLEEP IN YOUR CAR BEFORE EVEN CONSIDERING STAYING AT HOTEL 43!

Christy B.

Yelp
Hotel 43 left a great impression. Upon entering your room, you're greeted with a stuffed teddy bear, chocolates, and a welcome note. That alone separated Hotel 43 from other hotels I've stayed at. (Hotels in Vegas don't even do that.) Their bathrooms are super accommodating too and they have a great facial moisturizing bar that I shamelessly packed home. Their TV is AWESOME. I think it's like a 45 inch? And super hi def with a variety of channels. Not to mention that this hotel is downtown and close to everything. I only stayed in Boise for a night but it was extremely enjoyable. I wish they offered two robes though.

Joyce W.

Yelp
We stayed here on our honeymoon trip! The front desk was incredibly kind and upgraded our room when I mentioned that we were on our honeymoon! Great clean place to lay our head for the night. They are also dog friendly! We are really glad that out of all the hotels in Boise, we picked this one! Highly recommend you check this place out if you're in Boise!!

Ashton W.

Yelp
Just ok. Suite with 2 bathrooms but only one toilet worked. No water glasses in the room. Overpriced considering. I recommend The Grove over this hotel.

Thaddeas A.

Yelp
Quickly becoming one of my favorites in Boise, Hotel 43 offers a welcome feel, along with a luxurious vibe. From the moment I entered the clean and stylish lobby for my Friday night reprieve, I felt genuinely welcomed and immediately comfortable. After a full night of fun, when I finally made it to the King boutique suite that they'd set, I was pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail, and small, yet substantial welcome gifts that the personable guest-service team had left for my arrival. I tell you, it's all in the details, people! ..and these guys are on point.. As Justin valet'd Jamison (my ...one~of~a~kind.. 4 door which a dear friend lovingly named for me), Robin set the stage with a bright smile and professional welcome. Ryan reinforced the feeling as he made sure that there wasn't anything else that they could provide for my stay, and Amy whipped through my check-in process with grace. It's not always easy to get just what you need, in good time and without a bunch of extra hassle, but this pro trio made the process so natural and enjoyable that I felt right at home. I was up to the room in no time and primed for a great night's sleep. Plenty of pillows, shades that could block out an Armageddon, and the jazz music channel on my rooms' 50' tv made for just the right amount of unwinding comfort as I settled in after a fun night in downtown Boise. Would recommend for all seasoned travelers, professional and pleasure~seekers alike. Stay Grateful and Dine Well. Your friend in hospitality, Thaddeas

Dianne G.

Yelp
Very comfortable hotel. Nice appointments. All the drinks machines on all the floors were not operating. Don't know what's up with that. And it was a bit of a nuisance to get drinks or snacks from the downstairs Pantry area. It was locked and the front desk people had to unlock it and fetch your items. I suggested they provide some courtesy items to minimize this inconvenience. Great location for downtown shopping and eating.

Kristin S.

Yelp
I stayed here on my visit to Boise. It was my first time in the area, so I called ahead to get advice from the hotel. From that call throughout my stay, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is a little older than places I usually stay, but it was nice, clean, recently updated and had comfortable beds. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. I want to make sure Lois is recognized for her great work and help! She took a considerable amount of time helping me understand the area. She even made me a map for when I arrived! Superb customer service

Travis S.

Yelp
Amazing beds. Amazing staff. Great price. Tucker, the shuttle driver, was so awesome! I would definitely stay there again.

Janet M.

Yelp
I cannot say enough great things about this hotel! Hubby and me stay here several times a year for staycations and we have never been disappointed. Fabulous service, very clean rooms, great views, and easy walk to everything in downtown Boise. We have stayed in every type from a Standard to Grand Suite and they're all fabulous rooms. We prefer Hotel 43 to their sister hotel just down the street. Highly recommend!

amanda g.

Yelp
Very comfy beds and super friendly staff. They give you a bunch of different types of pillows so you can be sure you have one you like, that was a great touch!

Yelp
Hotel 43 is my favorite hotel in all of Boise. They have nice, clean rooms. Great beds, which is important to me. Nice bathrooms. Mostly though, the hotels front desk staff is the best in all of Boise!! Ashley who's now manager is great!! Katie, Taylor, Hunter are all the best front staff the hotel could ever have!! Chandlers Steak and Martini Restaurant is also an AMAZING place to go and have a 1 class meal. It's won the DiRona award for best restaurant which no other Boise restaurant can't acclaim too. Put the two together and you have an amazing weekend get away or just a great addition to your visit to Boise and Idaho!!

Yelp
Only 4 reviews (now 5 with mine) for Hotel 43?!?! All you yelpers who travel to awesome Boise are really missing out. Okay, Hotel 43 is not on par with the fancy boutique hotels of NYC, LA, or SF, but it's Boise...c'mon..what do you expect? For Boise (no offense Boise), this hotel is quite awesome. The rooms are a good size and they give you nice little amenities, such as a piece of chocolate and a bottle of water when you check-in as well as a teddy bear on your bed....schweet! This place would totally be where Frank Sinatra stayed if this were the 1950s and in Las Vegas. Also, they have a cool little bar downstairs that was actually pretty crowded for a Tuesday night at 9:30pm...schweet again! I highly recommend Hotel 43...it's close to a lot of cool stores in downtown Boise and if you're just looking for a cool bar to hangout while your here for one night...it has that as well. The only downside is the gym is kinda small....but aren't most hotel gyms?

Yelp
This hotel is great. Stayed here for one night and enjoyed my stay. The bathrooms are upgraded and new. No tubs only stand up showers which I love. Huge TVS and comfy beds. About 6 pillows per bed which was super awesome. They provide 1 liter bottle of smart water for $4 which is super convenient and inexpensive. Mind you,Airport bottles waters are the same price but way smaller. Nice decor and chic. Would definitely stay here again. Will probably try chandlers own of these days. Also thy serve breakfast but only a few items but are good enough.

Yelp
Billed as a "boutique hotel" Hotel 43 left a lot to be desired during my recent stay. The pros? Free WiFi (slow but it's free), free pass to the Boise Art Museum, and the bed (very comfortable with lots of pillows and nice linens). It's also got a great location in the heart of downtown Boise and the staff is very nice given they were constantly apologizing for everything. The cons? i seriously kept looking to see if I was on a Candid Camera episode as everything was a joke. How about a call telling me in the morning that the hot water was going to be turned off for repairs, and the hotel hoping I had already taken my shower? Not funny, but true. But wait. There's more. Room service came with the wrong order including some foods that I am allergic to even after I explained it a couple of times. No coffee in the room (really? what hotel doesn't have coffee these days?) Tired bathrooms that looked like something out of 1980 with a separate area for the sink, no 24 hour room service, keys that don't work (I had them re done 3 times) and the worst thing? They "forgot" to clean my room and leave clean towels. How can all of this happen in a span of 24 hours? I get that I was only paying $89 a night which is a steal. But when the hassles outweigh the benefits, you can bet I am staying somewhere else the next time I am in town. Cold shower, anyone?

Yelp
Hotel staff were quite friendly. Rooms were clean and there was a teddy-bear sitting on the bed. Was on the 4th floor so the view was nice as well. The room were quite enough but I did notice an opening under the door, which was perhaps a little larger than I expected. Also, not that big of a deal, was that the curtains were a bit dated. The bed was super comfortable but the pillows were way too soft. Overall, given the location to everything, I would stay here again. P.S. Parking is $12 a day.

Yelp
i stayed at Hotel 43 when i was here for a business trip. This is a pretty good place to stay in the heart of downtown Bosie, ID! it is close to the airport (about 5 min drive). The hotel is pretty cute like a boutique. Right when we got there -- valet boy came out to help us with our luggage and parked our car. We went in to check in at the front desk. Jeffrey the hotel manager was really helpful. He gave us a bottle of water. He made sure that we were taken care of during our stay. When i got to my room -- the right thing i see was a teddy bear sitting on the bed surrounded by pillows. i was tempted to take the bear home with me but then i saw the price -- $29.99! uhh the teddy bear wasn't THAT cute anymore! haha They also have a lounge/bar area connected to the hotel and right next door is the restaurant Chandler's. The hotel provides Free wireless internet connection which is a HUGE PLUS!. however, i was having some trouble logging in to the wireless. =/ i had to call their IT to help me configure the problem. it was pretty slow than before. good thing i didn't really need to use the internet that much that night. i ordered room service for breakfast! my first time ordering room service!! teehehe so the night before i checked off what i wanted in the morning and hang it on the door knob. i put down 'please deliver by 7:30AM" and it came at 7:40AM... and i had to leave and check out by 8AM so i can make it to my meeting! uhh.. pretty late. =/ Other than that, my stay here was pretty good and i will definitely come back the next time i am in Boisie!

Yelp
I was very excited to attend Bronco Day at Boise State with my son. We checked in early on Friday and all was good. On Sunday night, with an early morning check out, I decided to go to bed early. At about 9:30ish I heard a knock, but did not initially get up, thinking it was a door next to ours. A couple minutes later I heard another knock. I got up, out of a sleep to talk to a hotel worker, asking why I was in the room. I explain our reservation and check in. I did have difficulty falling back to sleep and did not mind the mistake. At 12:30ish there was another, much louder knock on the door, it definitely woke me out of a deep sleep. I went to the door to find two hotel staff (security) asking me questions. I explained a second time, not sure what to think or do. This time I did not fall back to sleep. It was truly an awful night of rest, no rest. I did ask what happened in the morning, and understood the mistake, but chose to not say anything when I was upset. I wrote the hotel on Email and Chat, to never receive a communication back. Even though I did like the location of the hotel and the room, there are pieces that are very lacking in customer service. This is my first ever Yelp complaint and was my first written complaint to the Hotel. Very disappointed.

Yelp
Could not have been more disappointed! We stayed here for three nights last week and it seemed like a complete let down. The website makes the property look nice and well equipped, but in reality the pictures are of the steakhouse and the "amenities" are extra or off site. Additionally, we paid for a nicer room but were told it wasn't available when we arrived- but our rate didn't change! The front desk staff was rude, short and uncaring. The nicest person was the airport shuttle driver (who was from The Grove Hotel- stay there instead!). Overall a waste of money and a disappointment.
